Popular Sleep & Anxiety Drug Causes Addiction
In a recent paper, researchers say that a class of drugs called benzodiazepines that can help treat anxiety and insomnia may lead to dangerous addiction.
The research was conducted by a team at Yale University.
Anxiety as a medical condition has plagued human beings for centuries.
Previous research has shown that benzodiazepines could help treat anxiety that previously didn’t respond to any other treatments and helped with insomnia.
They provided relief to many patients and were developed to replace another category of drugs called barbiturates.
The team found benzodiazepines also presented unforeseen risks. These drug work by binding to receptors in the brain called GABA, bringing calm and drowsiness.
But over time (about four weeks in 50% of patients), people may need higher doses to get the same sense of relief.
Although they take more time than barbiturates do to cause a reaction, benzodiazepines can still be addictive.

NY Times, Miami Herald, NBC, and other outlets are reporting the story.
The Herald: “The CDC sent novel coronavirus testing kits to Florida. They might not work.” (Feb 12., 2020):
“The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Wednesday morning said issues [problems] with the tests the agency has developed for the respiratory illness spreading rapidly through China surfaced after they were sent out to state labs…Nancy Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said federal officials believe the issue [problem] stems from one substance used in the test that ‘wasn’t performing consistently.’ She said the federal agency was remanufacturing that agent to try to correct the problem.”
I have news. Correcting those flaws in the test won’t make any difference. The test, as I reported days ago (and, see also here), CAN’T WORK.
Why? Because, as the CDC mentions on its website, the test is a version of the PCR. Technicians take a small specimen from a patient that might contain a virus. If it does, the virus particle(s) would be much too small to observe or analyze. The test then amplifies the specimen many times—as you would blow up a photograph—until a virus, if present, can be observed and—supposedly—identified.
There is just one flaw, and it’s fatal. The test says nothing reliable about HOW MUCH virus is in the patient’s body. Why is this important? Because millions and millions of virus, actively replicating in the body, are necessary to even begin talking about the virus causing disease. A few vague viral particles floating around in the body are irrelevant.
BUT the test takers and the doctors and the researchers and the companies that sell the test avoid an open frank debate with highly qualified INDEPENDENT researchers. It’s much easier to say, “The amount of virus in the body isn’t a problem, we can measure that, case closed.”
Patients who only have a non-important tiny amount of what might be a coronavirus are going to be labeled with the “epidemic illness.” They’re going to be quarantined and hospitalized and scared and treated with toxic anti-viral medicines.

(CNN)Bald eagles across the United States are dying from lead bullets — but it’s not because they’re being shot.
The Cape Fear Raptor Center, North Carolina’s largest eagle rehab facility, has treated seven eagles in the past month for lead poisoning, executive director Dr. Joni Shimp told CNN.
Since November, at least 80% of the eagles the facility has euthanized were put down because of lead poisoning.
Hunters use lead bullets to kill deer and other animals. Although the hunters aren’t targeting eagles, the birds are still indirectly affected when they consume animals shot with those bullets.

The start to weaponized state control of citizens was actually long before January 2020. More recently in 2007 we had NZ’s Tuhoe people raided in similar fashion but with a far worse ‘gung-ho’ modus operandi … boarding school buses dressed like Darth Vader, armed with guns and terrifying little children. Not a new scenario to Tuhoe … this was a hundred odd years on from a very similar display of force with the raid on Rua Kenana’s community, peaceful people minding their own business. That one involved bloodshed and deaths and I recently learned they were required to pay (in money) for the cost of that raid. In the 2007 event armed offenders (Police) detained one family that included small children in their garage for hours on end with no food, water or toilet. Yes, this sinister fascism has been lurking for a very long time however it’s now emerging right in plain sight. The claim with the new weaponry, the protective gear, the armoured vehicles costing millions of dollars … and the new legislation … is that they are protecting the public. Really? How does that include terrifying little children? Something is very rotten in the state of Enzed and folk are noticing.
Here is another raid from 2018 (so prior to the March 2019 event in Christchurch which sparked the new gun laws). In this one the father of two hands over his guns very willingly in order to prevent them kicking in the door whilst his children are in the bathroom with their mother terrified and crying.

The hospital still dragged their feet (listen to details in the vid) however in the end the man was healed. All denied by the health experts as to the cause of that success. 1080: UNSAFE PRACTICES OBSERVED at THE MATUKITUKI AERIAL 1080 POISON DROP!

On 11th and 12th February, 2020, 1080 poison was dropped by helicopter in the Matukituki Valley, Mt Aspiring National Park. The loading zone was on Mt Aspiring Station, in a paddock beside a public road. Three helicopters belonging to Way to Go Heliservices Ltd, and two JJ Nolan Transport Ltd trucks were there, as well as support staff and security.
1) Spillage…..in photos here you can see baits have been dropped on the grass (grass later to be eaten by stock, no doubt) and two workers are picking them up and tossing them into an already overloaded hopper.
2) Crazy behaviour by helicopter company…..the helicopter pilot in ZK-HKW has bare legs and face and hands!!! What part of ‘deadly Class 1A ecotoxin’ do these guys not understand? Do they think skull-and-crossbones signs are just for pirate ships?
3) The food chain….. a mob of sheep are driven past the drop as it is happening, along the road beside the loading zone, film crew in attendance. I wonder if they filmed the poison operation!
4) “Baits might sting when they hit you” ….tourists and trampers who had called into the DoC office prior to coming up the valley were surprised to see a 1080 operation underway. They reported that DoC Wanaka had not informed them that would be happening. I was told that, when asked about this, a DoC staffer at the drop said it was OK to be inside a 1080 drop but the baits might hurt a bit if they hit them.
This has been the standard DoC Wanaka stance since the 2014 operation it seems. Tourists visiting the DoC Wanaka office on the day before the December 2, 2014 aerial 1080 drop on the Matukituki catchment reported to me that they were told they could go into the drop zone on the day of the 1080 drop but that “the baits weigh as much as a $2 coin” and might sting if they hit them. 5) No proper signage….there were NO poison warning signs up on the day of the drop… only the map of the drop zone and a sign explaining DoC’s ‘Battle for Our Birds’ programme.
6) Hiding ID…..At least one of the security guards present had covered his ID number with tape so it couldn’t be seen…. more on that later in a separate post.

PS: Please note this is not the area where female tramper, Stephanie Simpson, sadly lost her life recently… as some are speculating. My thoughts are with her UK family. It has been so sad to think of their receiving that first phone call that their daughter was missing, and now the worst news of all.

The story is still the same. Again, in last week’s 1080 drop of 11th and 12th February, 2020, tourists reported that they had called into the DoC Wanaka office before coming into the Matukituki Valley and were not told a 1080 poison drop was happening. Joel Lund asked a DoC staffer at the loading zone about it, and he repeated DoC Wanaka’s party line…. that the baits might sting if they hit you.
No poison warning signage was in place. Is this a policy of the Wanaka area ? The same thing happened at last year’s OSPRI 1080 poison drop at Luggate… no 1080 poison warning signage!

I spent the last few hours studying The Eyes of Darkness,a prophetic thriller originally published in 1981 about a deadly bacteriological weapon called “Wuhan-400” named this way because it was developed at the RDNA labs outside of the city of Wuhan. The book in question was written by the best selling American writer Dean Koontz, and was originally published under the pseudonym Leigh Nichols.
The book focuses on a mother who sets out on a quest to find out if her son Danny died one year ago, or if he was still alive. Many of Dean Koontz’s books have appeared on The New York TimesBest Seller list and have been adapted for television or the big screen, but not this one. According to Koontz in the afterword of a 2008 paperback reissue, television producer Lee Rich purchased the rights for this book along with others and The Eyes of Darknesswas assigned for a possible tv adaptation with the female writing team of Ann Powell and Rose Schacht, co-writers of Drug Wars: The Camarena Story, but for some mysterious reason they could never deliver an acceptable script.
In this fictional account, the protagonist, Christina Evans, the mother of Danny, will eventually find her child kept alive in a military facility after being accidentally contaminated with man-made micro-organisms created at the research center in Wuhan. Secretly researched in a U.S. military laboratory for “Biological and chemical recombinant DNA experiments”to try and reproduce the dangerous virus after “a Chinese scientist named Li Chen defected to the United States, carrying a diskette record of China’s most important and dangerous: new biological weapon in a decade.”
So the origins of this fictional virus denominated “Wuhan-400” are connected with genetic engineering, which is the science of manipulating genetic material from an organism. The first artificial genetic modification was accomplished in the U.S. by Herbert Boyer and Stanley Cohen in 1972, but the Chinese got involved from the beginning in this growing industry that created the first genetically engineered plant as well as infamous Genetically Modified food. The virus in question is described by Dr. Carlton Dombey, one of the doctors in charge at the military laboratory described in the book, in the following way to the mother of Danny and Elliot Stryker, her partner who once worked for Army Intelligence: “Wuhan-400 is a perfect weapon. It afflicts only human beings. No other living creature can carry it. And like syphilis, Wuhan-400 can’t survive outside a living human body for longer than a minute, which means it can’t permanently contaminate objects or entire places the way anthrax and other virulent microorganisms can. And when the host expires, the Wuhan-400 within him perishes a short while later, as soon as the temperature of the corpse drops below eighty-six degrees Fahrenheit. Do you see the advantage of all this?”
Elliot Stryker replies: “If I understand you, the Chinese could use Wuhan-400 to wipe out a city or a country, and then there wouldn’t be any need for them to conduct a tricky and expensive decontamination before they moved in and took over the conquered territory.”

Australian women win landmark surgical mesh case – but Kiwi women can’t sue

Australian women suffering life-long complications from transvaginal surgical mesh have won a landmark case against pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson and two of its affiliated companies.
Federal Court Justice Anna Katzmann found in favour of the group of 1200 women in the case against Johnson & Johnson on Thursday.
Complications included chronic inflammatory reaction, erosion of mesh into surrounding organs, infection, chronic pain, pain with sex, incontinence, damage to surrounding tissues, haemorrhage, leg weakness, further surgery and psychological injury.

Most people know there’s chlorine in a swimming pool because you can usually smell it, but this very well-known carcinogen is also in your drinking water and some of the foods you eat.
In the U.S., chlorine is used as a method of disinfecting drinking water, but new research shows this process creates toxic byproducts, according to Futurity.
While chlorine has been used worldwide to save people’s lives from diseases such as typhoid and cholera, questions are being raised about the amount of chlorine that is being used to disinfect drinking water, according to the report.
Phenols, chemical compounds that occur naturally in the environment and are abundant in personal care products and pharmaceuticals, are commonly found in drinking water and when those phenols mix with chlorine, the process creates a large number of byproducts.
Alternative methods that can be used to disinfect drinking water include UV treatment, the use of ozone and simple filtration.
Highly toxic disinfection byproducts (DBPs) form from reactions between pool disinfectants like chlorine and organic matter, including hair, skin, sweat, dirt and … urine. Don’t wrinkle your nose in disgust too fast — 1 in 5 Americans admit they have peed in a pool and, among Olympic swimmers, one former U.S. National team member said nearly 100% of competitive swimmers pee in the pool regularly.
It’s not the urine that is the problem since urine is virtually sterile when it leaves your body, so it doesn’t pose the risk of causing illness the way fecal matter in a pool does. It’s what happens when urine mixes with pool chemicals, including chlorine, that is causing concern.
Studies show that urination in a chlorinated pool creates cyanogen chloride (CNCl), which is classified as a chemical warfare agent, and trichloramine (NCl3), which have been linked to cancer and lung damage.
Chlorine is lurking in some places you’d never suspect, including those cute little cocktail or “baby” carrots you buy at the supermarket.
