“Norinco already supplies police and security equipment to countries like Venezuela, Kenya, Bolivia, and Sri Lanka, which have been documented as using its gear for protest suppression.“
Great timing … in light of the current dodgy rioting … ‘they’ need unrest to bring on their weaponry of control. Police state rising. All in the plan (and here) … EWNZ
New footage has emerged this month of one of China’s largest defense contractors, China North Industries Group Corporation (NORINCO), training humanoid robots for the purpose of security and riot control, and eventually military integration.
Latest footage was compiled by Mike Kalil and has gone viral on social media.
Kalil explained in a blog post summarizing China’s investment and growth in the robotics industry. In the case of NORINCO’s humanoids, he wrote:
Norinco first introduced its humanoid named Fuxi in November 2025 at the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai alongside a smaller version called Fuxi Lite.
It got even more attention during the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC) in Beijing, where a small fleet of the humanoids demonstrated riot control capabilities. Controlled by teleoperation, they wielded batons and shields marked with the words, “Fang Bao,” the Mandarin term for riot control. The robots could play a role in Beijing’s efforts to crack down on domestic protests, which have surged in recent years due to unpaid wages, housing disputes, and frustration with municipal authorities.
Hong Kong is another potential deployment area. The Chinese government has dramatically tightened its control over the city since the massive pro-democracy demonstrations of 2019. Hong Kong maintains its own police force, but the local government is accountable to Beijing within China’s constitutional system. City officials have reportedly allocated an additional $638 million to its 2026 national security budget, bringing its total funding to $2.3 billion.
The riot-control humanoids could also attract interest from foreign governments. Norinco already supplies police and security equipment to countries like Venezuela, Kenya, Bolivia, and Sri Lanka, which have been documented as using its gear for protest suppression.
Norinco says Fuxi can recognize people, detect unusual situations, issue alerts, and coordinate with other robots similar to its RoboWolf quadrupeds. Its onboard AI has a higher-level system that interprets instructions and a lower-level system that controls its movements.
