Food – The Ultimate Weapon Of The Ruling (not) Elite

The original link to this article at Info Clearing House is now gone. It’s from 2008 and an interesting to read in light of the current regime. I can find nothing (quick search) about William online, let me know if you can. I expect his enlightening info would’ve been hoovered carefully from the internet by now, classed as disinfo. Some time ago I did see his Robert McNamara depop quote but could not find a reference to that anywhere either. EWR

By William Bowles

19/04/08 “Creative-i ” — –Using food as a weapon is as old as the siege but today’s barbarians have upped the anté by several orders of magnitude.

“…There are only two possible ways in which a world of 10 billion people can be averted. Either the current birth rates must come down more quickly. Or the current death rates must go up. There is no other way. There are, of course, many ways in which the death rates can go up. In a thermonuclear age, war can accomplish it very quickly and decisively. Famine and disease are nature’s ancient checks on population growth, and neither one has disappeared from the scene … To put it simply: Excessive population growth is the greatest single obstacle to the economic and social advancement of most of the societies in the developing world.” — Speech to the Club of Rome by Robert McNamara, Oct. 2, 1979

“Overpopulation and rapid demographic growth of Mexico is already today one of the major threats to the national security of the United States. Unless the U.S.-Mexico border is sealed, we will be up to our necks in Mexicans for whom we cannot find jobs.” —Robert McNamara, then World Bank president, March 19, 1982

McNamara’s thinly veiled genocidal utterances took place over thirty years ago, echoing the wealthy and the privileged’s fear of the ’great unwashed’ when ‘over-population’ was the buzzword. So not much has changed has it, we’re hearing the same, tired old messages being rolled out once again by the ruling elites and their spin doctors. McNamara’s cries of fear about being up to his neck in Mexicans is exactly same as the current bogey doing the rounds in Europe, only now they’re Africans.

Thus the current explosions in Haiti, Eygpt, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Indonesia and elsewhere over the rocketing price of basic foodstuffs such as cooking oil and rice prompted the BBC to describe them as first and foremost “a potential threat to Western security” (BBC News 24, 13 April, 2008), never mind the threat to human life, but then it reveals exactly where the BBC’s head is at, protecting the status quo.

To add insult to injury, the crétin Gordon Brown has the damn nerve to say,

“Rising food prices threaten to roll back progress we have made in recent years on development. For the first time in decades, the number of people facing hunger is growing.”

Progress? What planet does our glorious leader live on? Standards of living have been falling for everybody (except the rich who, as a consequence, have just gotten even richer by stealing even more from the poor), since the 1970s when the ‘neo-liberal’ agenda was initiated and not only have the poorest been the hardest hit but we’ve seen millions of the formerly ‘middle classes’ dumped unceremoniously back where they ‘belong’, with the poor. Social status doesn’t put food on the table. So much for the capitalist ‘good life’.

These are the facts: real wages in the US have fallen since the 1970s. It’s reckoned that around 40 million Americans now live under the ‘official’ poverty level, but at least they can still eat something, not so the millions of people in the so-called developing world who already immiserated by so-called free trade, have been hit with a double whammy, nay, a quintuple whammy.

Whammy #1: ‘Free Trade’

The poor countries of the world have been ‘persuaded’ that growing food for export so as to earn foreign currency which they then have to use to buy imported food (guess where from?), is better than growing food in their back yard. And to make sure they live up to their end of the ‘bargain’, under WTO ‘rules’ they get punished if they try to control imports.

Countries grew their own food which not only fed them but also created employment, now grow food and things like flowers, for export in order to ‘earn’ the precious dollar which obviously they have to spend on importing the food they once grew. Worse, the subsidized food imports wipe out what remains of indigenous agriculture, it simply can’t compete. What an insane setup! It only makes sense when you realize that the managers who setup this ‘deal’ work for BIg Business, they call the shots. If it were a ‘Mafia’ deal it would be called criminal extortion.

Of course, we in the West with our wealth subsidize the production of food, so the poor of the planet get hit with a whammy within a whammy. Not having the resources to subsidize their own food production, as the cost of importing food rises but not the price they get for exporting food to us, they are truly caught between a rock and a barren place.

And it’s the same IMF and World Bank policies which created the latest crisis to hit the poor of our planet, that are responsible for creating such an unequal relationship in the first place.

Whammy #2: Energy

And of course to grow all these crops for export needs lots of energy and lots of water, and lots of fertilizer, and lots of pesticides, all of which must be bought with precious foreign currency (and until recently, only dollars would be accepted). With oil now selling at over $113 a barrel, the cost of producing anything has shot through the roof. The winners: The Big Oil Cartels. No need to tell you who the losers are.

But the actual cost of producing the oil hasn’t risen much at all, the entire responsibility for these increases has to be placed where it belongs, on the commodities speculators and the Big Five oilcos. In other words, on all those grimy gamblers in investment corps and pension fund managers. It’s the system.

Whammy #3: ‘Bio-fuels’

The latest addition to the armoury of food used as a weapon and perhaps the most obvious example to date, is converting production from food staples to so-called bio-fuels.

For rather than us just using less energy, we buy it from the poor of the planet in the form of ‘bio-fuels’. Brilliant isn’t it. What poor country needs to produce ethanol? It has no possible use except perhaps to make moonshine.

But we knew that this would happen and everybody told our cretinous, criminal leaders what would happen. They’re too busy producing wheat for export to feed all those damn cows, cows that we turn into hamburgers for our consumption, but now, instead of producing wheat for export to make burgers, we’re producing ethanol to put in our automobiles. Either way it’s madness!

And in any case, as a leaked EU report shows, bio-fuels do nothing to halt the production of greenhouse gases (they may even increase it), the entire ‘bio-fuels’ thing is one gigantic scam, largely to do with what is the most profitable crop to grow (see ‘Industry asks for biofuels policy U-turn).

Whammy #4: Water

Fact: It takes 1,000-2,000 litres of water to produce 1 kilo of wheat

Fact: It takes 10,000-13,000 litres of water to produce 1 kilo of meat (Source: FAO)

And guess what gets produced the most, largely for Western consumption—burgers. And not surprisingly, the ‘neo-liberal’ agenda has seen the enforced privatization of water across the planet along with other key resources formerly held in communal ownership.

Whammy #5: Climate Change

Predictably, climate change impacts on those least able to deal with it, the poor. And lest we forget, the majority of the planet’s population are poor. The connectedness between everything must surely be apparent to you, the reader, the fact that messing up the biosphere the way we have been doing for the past two hundred years reverberates throughout the planet. And our political elites call themselves civilized!

Meanwhile, back in the land of the powerful, we’re busy planning for endless war in order to preserve our privilege, so even as our glorious leaders pontificate on about this or that crisis facing us, they’re spending billions on developing robots to shit bombs on the planet’s poor from a comfortable armchair some distance from the scene of the ‘action’.

“UAV Market to Top $13 Billion by 2014

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) April 14, 2008 — The global war on terrorism has prompted the United States to pump significant amounts of money into its Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) programs, asserts Forecast International analyst Larry Dickerson.” — www.aviationtoday.com/webinars/2008_0417.html

How can anybody in his or her right mind not view these people and the entire class in whose interests they work so tirelessly, not see them not only as war criminals but as destroyers of life! These are truly barbarians in every sense of the word, for they destroy everything of beauty and value including entire countries in order to preserve their piece of the action.

No wonder the Hollywood obsession with ‘saving the planet’ but when will we see a movie about saving ourselves and our home from these predatory mass murderers?

So why is it that we turn away from the carnage ostensibly wrought in our name? After all, people give generously to so-called charities, so it’s not that people don’t care about the plight of others.

Again, I come back to the corporate/state media for surely without their active complicity in covering up the endless atrocities being committed would we stand for it? I think not, but then I’m an eternal optimist about the real nature of the human spirit once we stop fearing and start thinking and feeling.

The major reason is the media’s (never mind the politicians) failure to connect events with the underlying economics that drives them to act the way they do. Thus the ‘credit-crunch’ is so misnamed in order to hide the fact that it’s the economic and political policies of our governments in cahoots with Big Business that created the crisis in the first place (as it has all previous crises).

The ‘credit-crunch’ is merely symptomatic of a sick system that needs to be replaced poste haste.

The issue is really quite simple, as long as we have ruling elites joined at the hip to Big Capital, running the show, they will never, not in a million years entertain the idea of doing away with the present economic system—which is the cause of all our miseries—and replacing it with a saner and more modest way of earning a buck, there’s too much at stake and for so few, dammit! Only we, the so-called people can do that, they won’t even begin to change things unless we either force them to or failing that, get rid of them.

Labour’s housing band aid: currently around 8500 adults & 3888 kids live in NZ motels, costing more than half a billion dollars to date

“Govt accused of running get-rich-quick scheme after National reveals motels being paid millions for emergency accommodation”

And the Nats can’t talk … Key hocked off a large chunk of our state homes to property developers … paid for by our forbears. And Labour’s so far sold off $30 mill worth. As we speak councils NZ wide are hocking off the pensioner housing at fire sale prices. Nats & Labour, same bird, different wings. All in sync with Agenda 21/30. Who listens to their constant banter, maintaining the illusion they are in opposition? And last count we were at some 42K homeless here. During Key’s time, 43K. While treasonous Roger Douglas enjoys his knighthood in luxury. Hailed as a success & rewarded by the very system that is driving the corporate takeover of the wealth of once sovereign nations. EWR

From mainstream’s newshub

“National has accused the Government of running a get-rich-quick scheme for motel owners, some of whom have been earning millions for operating as emergency accommodation.

The party’s housing spokesperson Nicola Willis revealed since Labour came into office:

  • One emergency housing supplier has earned $14.7 million
  • One motel has earned $10.5 million
  • 10 motels have earned more than $5 million
  • 128 emergency housing suppliers have earned more than $1 million

Willis said significant expenditure is the result of policy failure.

“We have community housing providers up and down New Zealand who are ready to provide better housing options and better support to people in need, but instead, this Government thinks it is enough to write a big cheque to a motel.”

And so it continues … thousands of dollars spent by the corporation on motels that could be funneled into deposits for houses. Truth right there. What more needs to be said? ….

In Japan, more people died by suicide in October 2020 than from COVID in all of that year

Experts say this alarming spike is being partially driven by women, who often work in industries most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

TOKYO — Eriko Kobayashi has tried to kill herself four times.

The first time, she was just 22 years old with a full-time job in publishing that didn’t pay enough to cover her rent and grocery bills in Tokyo. “I was really poor,” said Kobayashi, who spent three days unconscious in hospital after the incident.

Now 43, Kobayashi has written books on her mental health struggles and has a steady job at an NGO. But the coronavirus is bringing back the stress she used to feel.

“My salary was cut, and I cannot see the light at the end of the tunnel,” she said. “I constantly feel a sense of crisis that I might fall back into poverty.”

Experts have warned that the pandemic could lead to a mental health crisis. Mass unemployment, social isolation, and anxiety are taking their toll on people globally.

Breadlines Stretch Across America: This Economic Collapse Is Much Worse Than You Are Being Told

Now, our country is essentially divided between those who patiently wait for some food in breadlines – after losing their ability to provide for themselves and, oftentimes, the roof over their heads – and those who sit comfortably at their own homes waiting for the meltdown to be over while discovering the joy of baking bread.

You need to ask yourself why, in the midst of a food shortage, would any authority stop you buying seeds or gardening supplies?

A note to those contacting me to say this is not true. I don’t think anybody is claiming seeds are banned everywhere. They clearly have been in some places & since the video was produced (not by EWR) matters have changed as the lockdown has evolved. Nevertheless the point still remains, we have a starting point here. It is something to watch & be very aware of. Whose interests are at heart if you are unable to find & purchase seed to feed yourselves? If you wish to query the truth of the video please make your way to the creator’s channel by clicking on the YT icon at the bottom right of the video screen as it plays, and pose your questions there. EWR

Here we have the new world order advocates … the ones who profess sustainable practices … the liars I’m sorry to say at the top of the pyramid  … preventing two US states from buying seeds or gardening supplies. This is in Maryland and Vermont. Where next?

NO SEEDS

This short video from the channel of Ice Age Farmer highlights the food shortages & the reasons for them. I’m briefly summarizing the main points. Ranchers can’t get their stock processed … (so we’ll have to eat I suspect that fake processed poison they’ve been itching to foist on us). The BBC reports 2,000 garden centers and nurseries are throwing out their plants and supplies! Ontario has shut down community gardens. (Whatever happened to social distancing in the gardens then, or the nurseries? It’s being managed pretty well in the supermarkets note). Canada had originally failed to include the entire agricultural industry under essential services … that has fortunately now changed since the making of this video here. Food was not an essential service? Milk producers are being ordered to dump their supplies. There has been violence at the supermarkets in Latin America and Italy. India’s entire tea industry is about to collapse and oil production there is grinding to a halt. And eggs are rotting in the warehouses because get this, there aren’t any cartons to put them in! Meanwhile in NZ apparently the shortage of flour on the supermarket shelves is due to ‘everybody’s baking’ and according to this article, there’s plenty of flour in stock just no packaging for it. (So what about all the plastic bags we see still floating around the supermarkets that you put your fruit & veg in? Used to be we improvised in a state of emergency didn’t we?)  I’ve also noted in NZ that the Bin Inns are closed after some uncertainty where shops had their permission that’s since been withdrawn. In short the entire food industry is being shut down.

Note in comments … Glenn from Texas: “In Texas the big box stores are not letting people buy seeds to grow food, but can buy flower seeds”.

So, if these people were what they say they are, and cared like they profess they do, they would not be stopping you from growing your own food. I’ve mentioned this often over recent years, about saving your own heirloom seed because the giant corporations have been quietly buying up the seed companies. We know that’s about monopoly and nothing to do with your convenience or health. Plus they have hybridized the seed so you have to return next year to buy more. Remember the plight of Indian farmers who suicided because of the financial ruin caused by this evil set up.  The only sustainable thing about this scenario is profits for corporations.

If anything illustrates their real intent with all of this lockdown it is the banning of seeds. This is absolutely outrageous and very wrong. There is absolutely no way that any risk of disease can justify this. Remember Kissinger’s infamous quote?

“Control oil and you control nations; control food and you control the people.”

Seasons Greetings

animal-3434123_1280Note: this post sparked a discussion on FB… see notes at the end.

This morning I watched the birds feeding on the Pohutukawa trees outside my window and pondered. No bigger birds had fenced the tree off with ‘no trespassing’ signs. Or cut the flowers all off to process and sell. It is why we’re offered the birds as an example not to worry about food or clothing. And yet our world and all of its resources have been fenced off and guarded for the benefit of the few whilst the many starve and languish without homes or covering for their families. I’ve just moved house again because six weeks ago a new property management company that purchased the block of flats of which I was a tenant,  raised all the rents by $140. Market rent they said. These flats are very substandard. More to come on that. Then yesterday whilst waiting to hand in the keys to the slumlords, I struck up a convo with a young man who told me the story of a whanau member who had hung himself. As he explained this to whomever it was he was waiting to see she rushed by him saying she wasn’t working ‘this week’. No heart? Everything is too busy? Our convo had centered around what everybody is noticing… nobody cares any more. The suicides are escalating. People don’t care for each other like they used to. And the apparent police state that is nearly upon us. People visited by the police to inquire as to their political views. Intimidation? And the property predators. Yes this young man confirmed a story I’d people-1010001_640heard of that a certain motel in town was charging $400 p wk rental to the vulnerable homeless. Meanwhile the local authorities have built new accommodation for the refugees they are soon to be welcoming into the country. Now like most of us,  I would like to see these folk cared for, but we have more than 43,000 of our own homeless in NZ. There has to be another agenda to this kindness than mere kindness. If it were kindness then why are so many of ours homeless?

Anyhow, with those thoughts in mind, we know that many folk will spend their Christmas on a park bench without food, or camped in their cars or tents because our corporation (aka govt) has sold off thousands of our state homes that once housed them. Something stinks very badly in the state of NZ.  We need to be caring for each other more than ever, not looking to the agencies we’ve become used to caring for us because they’ve decided to drop us all. Remember, the Police & rescue services had decided not to go to White Island to help the stranded? We are under a business model & that is the rationale for these decisions. On that note, in those flats I just left, I met a dear lady who goes at night & feeds the many homeless around our city. From her own pocket. I only learned of it because an equally kind mutual neighbour told me.

And to the kind folk who have asked am I okay, yes I’m fine. I have found another house, still higher rent but not as high as what I’ve left, and in a better location. Trees & green all around. I simply highlighted this situation because it is what many are facing, only worse in many cases. I have supportive friends & family …. many have none. This is a sign of the times & the direction this country, this planet even, is heading.

Stay safe everybody & look out this Christmas, and always, for those who are contemplating death by suicide, or those who have nowhere to live and nothing to eat. Agenda 21/30 is right in plain sight now & it’s not pretty.

Re Facebook: a discussion ensued from this post. Someone left a link to a YT video & commented on the engineered lack of caring produced over many decades. It discusses a movie made post WW2 called ‘It’s a Wonderul Life’. Worth a watch if you have time. It’s very old school & ’40s of course being post war … but the interesting thing is as the media corporations condensed from 6 to 5, this movie was all but removed & yet has been classified as one of the most, or the most, popular movie of all time. It portrays family life & the support of friends … & the villain of the piece is the bankster, Potter.

You can watch actual the movie at this link.

The Nats intend to punish the poor some more instead of dealing to corporate tax exemptions and white collar crime – what’s new?

So this mainstream article (below) is announcing the Nats’ new policy plans for NZ and is basically all about controlling the poor. What an easy target. What are they afraid of?

Wake up folks, it’s easier to bash the vulnerable than to hold the rich & powerful to account.

Predictably, as parties do, they are hustling up support ready for the next election …that illusory option of choice. Bridges is playing the old ‘bash the beneficiary’ card. A sure winner for the wealthy in times of need. Those ‘bad sole mothers, gang members, non vaxers’ (who don’t want to risk maiming or killing their offspring) … and yes the poor, working or otherwise. (He obviously hasn’t noticed the working folk who are living in cars). And clearly Bridges hasn’t read about the 1 in 39 injured from vaccines or he knows & just figures the rest of us are too dumb to know. Do show us Simon, the studies that compare vaccinated kids with non vaccinated … if you can find any that is. Wake up folks, even Labour said pre last election they hadn’t ruled out mandatory vaccination, in spite of telling us they’re not going to do it (yet). It is all a game of rhetorics gently nudging you in  a specific direction that they won’t divulge yet for fear of you revolting.

And they’re going after the people they want in paid WORK when there are no jobs for them. If you will ascribe to a social policy that does not value people & their usefulness to wider society & each other Simon … that favours corporate profit & automation by machines over people with real jobs & roofs over their heads (like we used to have), then unemployment is what you get. So stop blaming the poor for that & lay the blame where it belongs. I lived through the era when we had full employment & I witnessed what killed it. It wasn’t ‘lazy’ gang members, sole mothers or anti vaxxers, it was  Neolib economics courtesy of Roger Douglas who should be tried for treason. Bashing us is a smoke screen.

RELATED: Mind the Gap documentary by Bryan Bruce who clearly sets out where things went wrong. (VIDEO POSTED BELOW)

Just be honest Simon. You should be going after the corporations (your mates) that cream off the nation’s wealth & send it off shore, that make their millions & pay no taxes. And what about the white collar criminals who plunder with impunity? Why not tax the rich who currently pay peanuts?

And what are you going to do about our climbing suicide rate? Child poverty? Homelessness? (That your predecessors sent into landslide mode?) Remember … the masses are waking up. Look at France and the yellow vests that mainstream never reports on.  They are realizing they are the 99% and you a mere 1%. This is the ultimate end of your greedy profiteering policies.

Wake up folks, it’s easier to bash the vulnerable than to hold the rich & powerful to account.

$230K for teams with Police & military backgrounds to ‘battle’ beggars in Hamilton – the new face of ‘humanitarianism’?

Who ever would have thought four decades ago that NZ would ever come to this? A country that once saw all were housed and had jobs until treasonous Roger Douglas got all the corporate snouts in the public trough & sold us down the river. I’ve read recently that studies reveal it Is cheaper to actually house the homeless than to spend this kind of money policing them.

Giving Homes to the Homeless is Cheaper Than Leaving them on the Street. Here’s Proof
One study cited by Mother Jones tracked 4,679 chronically homeless people in New York City and found that their emergency room visits, jail costs, shelter stays, and other uses of public welfare programs cost, on average, $40,449 per person, per year. When they were put in supportive housing, the state saved $16,282 per person. Denver conducted a similar study and found that for each homeless person given supportive housing, taxpayers saved $17,858 per person each year over a two-year period. And according to a Mother Jones infographic, support housing for a homeless person in Los Angeles’ Skid Row cost taxpayers just $605 per person, per month, as opposed to $2,897 per person per month if they remained on the street.   READ MORE AT THE LINK

Read stuff’s article below on how NZ is literally tackling poor vulnerable citizens forced to live on the streets. In a proven not cost effective way.  How ever will the government house the incoming thousands of refugees I wonder? After all they’ve hocked off a large chunk of our state owned houses (to profiteer on the real estate under them) and they could’ve kept those for refugees and Kiwis … and they’re now building high rise stack and pack apartments in the cities instead. High rise chicken coops all wired up to 5G no doubt. And their goal with this mission here is to make you feel safer? EWR

From stuff.co.nz

“Hamilton City Council has recruited a team of five to combat begging in the suburbs.

The one-year trial, set to cost $230,000, is an extension of the City Safe service and will target nuisance and anti-social behaviour.

The team, which will work seven days a week, will patrol suburbs including Dinsdale, Hillcrest and Hamilton East.

The goal is to make people feel safer in their communities, according to a statement from council.”

“The new staff come from a variety of backgrounds including police, military and security,” City Safe Operations manager Paul Blewman said.

“The team speak numerous languages including Chinese, Indian, Filipino and Korean which will be a benefit when working with Hamilton’s multicultural population.”

The service was agreed to by council in the 2019/2020 Annual Plan.

“Success of City Safe in the central city to deter begging and anti-social behaviour has resulted in an increase in complaints about such behaviour now occurring in a number of suburban areas where there is no City Safe presence,” according to a council document.

Have you seen any State Homes sitting empty for any length of time?

Given our current homeless problem (43+K) & shortage of housing I’m seeing state homes boarded up, selling, sold etc. Penny Bright exposed the thousands of homes sold off in Tamaki & elsewhere to property developers. I’ve also heard of private folk buying them for a virtual song. Some folk who were evicted from these who are still homeless. Then there’s the P scam with many sales, the tale spun by the Nats that justified sell offs. Also the folk being placed in emergency motel accommodation. I’ve heard of folk leaving those with $85K debt because WINZ loaned the money for that accommodation. The only real beneficiaries of that scheme of course are the moteliers. How is it rocket science to simply have lent that $85 to the homeless person towards a new house? Even a tiny home, a container home or similar? If you have stories to tell about any of these scenarios, and would like to write them down (doesn’t have to be flash writing, just as you would speak) & send them to me with any relevant images even. Comment in comments below with your email, I won’t publish that but will contact you & delete the comment. Alternatively contact me via the contact page. One scenario that’s been told me since posting this is that of bulldozed state homes, very recently too. We are in the middle of a housing crisis & they are bulldozing perfectly good looking houses… a formerly state owned asset down the gurgler of course courtesy of Roger Douglas. So if you can report any thing like this, let me know how long ago they were bulldozed & the addresses where they were. We are told these sections will have new community houses built on them. Have you seen any being built? If you’ve noticed any houses/units etc also that have sat empty or boarded up for a while can you send me a pic with the following info if you have it:
1) current date & about how long it’s been empty

2) if you happen to know anything about the last tenants as in why they left (just left, were evicted, muscled out?)

3) is it for sale?

4) what town/area/city is it?

5) do you have any other info about it

5) if you’ve been housed in a motel, did you leave with debt to repay to WINZ?

I’d like to compile these & get a general picture of the extent of former HNZ homes being land banked. Needless to say your personal details would be kept confidential & unpublished. (People have already indicated they know of homes that have been empty for up to 18 months & more for no apparent reason).

Below are images of just a few of the Tamaki homes exposed by Penny Bright as land banked. Search ‘state housing’ in categories on these stories (left of page).

Chris Hedges: The Issue Before Us is Death

“The corporate forces that have commodified the natural world for profit have also commodified human beings. We are as expendable to global corporations as the Barrier Reef or the great sequoias. These corporations and ruling elites, which have orchestrated the largest transference of wealth upward in human history, with globe’s richest 1 percent owning half the world’s wealth, kneel, and force us to kneel, before the dictates of the global marketplace. They have seized control of our governments, extinguishing democracy, corrupting law and building alliances with neofascists and authoritarians as the ruling ideology of neoliberalism is exposed as a con. They have constructed pervasive and sophisticated systems of internal security, wholesale surveillance and militarized police, along with criminalizing poverty, to crush dissent.” — Chris Hedges, Confronting the Culture of Death

A Napier 1 BR rental gets 900 replies – families are in ‘absolute desperation’ & it isn’t rocket science ‘why’

Remember how the National party sold off literally thousands of our State Homes? Homes built so that no NZers would be without a roof over their heads.

tom scott dom post today date is 4 may 16

THE NATS HAVE BEEN LAND BANKING TAMAKI STATE HOMES ON PRIME REAL ESTATE SINCE 2012, CLEARING OUT THE POOR TO MAKE WAY FOR PRIVATE MANSIONS

THE GENTRIFICATION OF TAMAKI UNDER THE GUISE OF ‘REGENERATION’ SCAM – THE SALE OF YOUR STATE ASSETS TO PRIVATE PROPERTY DEVELOPERS AT UNDISCLOSED PRICES

There were some very big question marks over the legality of some of those sales….

WHY IS A CROWN ENTITY COMPANY WITH $1.6 BILLION OF FORMER HOUSING NZ PROPERTIES NOT LISTED UNDER SCH 4A OF THE PUBLIC FINANCE ACT, OR SCH 2 OF THE CROWN ENTITIES ACT?

Thousands of properties land banked for greedy property developers, now laughing all the way to the banks. Those homes once helped house the now 43K plus homeless we have in NZ.

15541907_1166773550086274_2314970506684602516_n

Over the recent years as these houses disappeared, I’ve read many comments from bloggers who have also watched this. Many folk were evicted from our State Homes with what appears to be little good justification. One I read the other day, folk in the Wellington region were evicted for property development, and the evicted are still homeless. Following is the tale of another unfortunate Tamaki family evicted just weeks after their mother died:

THE CROWN OWNED TAMAKI REGENERATION CO. EVICTS 5 GRIEVING CHILDREN 3 WKS AFTER THEIR MOTHER’S DEATH – A NOT UNCOMMON OCCURRENCE WE’RE TOLD

So, no surprizes that now folk are languishing in garages, sheds, cars even. Unable to put a roof over their heads due also to the obscenely large rentals being charged, all helped along by the fact there is little housing to be had. The good old supply & demand mentality on steroids that is now seeing the rich getting richer & the poor getting even poorer. Thanks to Roger Douglas & the Neo Liberal ‘experiment’.

Here is the article highlighting the rental shortage in Napier.

From rnz.co.nz

Napier families who are desperate for housing are applying for flatshares and one-bedroom units.

A Napier landlord who posted an advertisement for a one-bedroom unit on TradeMe got more than 900 inquiries within 24 hours.

“We pulled it because we got 946 replies… I honestly couldn’t believe there were that many people wanting a place.”

The one-bedroom unit in Tamatea was available for $285 a week.

Several applicants were families who simply could not find anywhere else to live, he said.

“We put in the ad that it was not suitable for families or children, but they were quite willing to say the kids can sleep in the bedroom and we’ll sleep in the lounge.”

Most of those who inquired were unwilling to fill in an application form asking for reference checks and a police check.

This helped the landlord whittle down the list to about 50 people, who were invited to view the property at an open day, he said.

“Even then you could tell some people were desperate, a couple of them had tears in their eyes when they were talking to us.”

Another Napier man searching for two flatmates to share his Ahuriri home said he was getting dozens of calls and texts each day – and many were from families.

On four different occasions he had families turning up to sign a tenancy, when he was expecting a single person to show up.

“They led me to believe that the room was only for one person,” he said.

Hawke’s Bay Properties director Dee Penno was not surprised.

“There is just absolute desperation out there,” she said.

“You get all these applicants and how do you pick? Which desperate person do you pick?”

More than 200 inquiries had already been made in response to a current TradeMe ad for a one-bedroom flat in the Napier suburb of Maraenui, available for $260 a week.

Prospective tenants would often offer more than the advertised price in order to secure a home, Ms Penno said.

“And I also have people that ring up literally two minutes after I’ve listed it wanting to see the house before anyone else, begging down the phone.”

Proposed new requirements for rental properties, such as insulation and heating, would make the situation worse, Ms Penno said.

A lot of landlords had sold up over the last 18 months, because of the buoyant market in Hawke’s Bay, she said.

And she predicted it would only get worse, if stricter requirements for rental properties came into force.

“It is scaring a lot of landlords off… and I think we will see a lot of Mum and Dad investors with one rental property saying ‘this is too hard, we’re out’,” she said.

Hawke’s Bay rents had risen the fastest in the country, jumping 14 percent in the last year to a record high of $480 in August, according to figures from TradeMe.

The number of emergency housing special needs grants given to pay for emergency motel accommodation had tripled in Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne between the March and June quarters, Ministry for Social Development (MSD) figures showed.

More people were coming to MSD for help, just as it had asked them to, an MSD spokesperson said.

MSD usually saw an increase in those needing help over the winter months.

“A high proportion of the people on the Social Housing Register in the East Coast region are living in insecure housing – accommodation that is unsuitable on a long-term basis. Winter will be making things worse for those people,” MSD said.

25 years ago 74% of all NZ households lived in their own home … so who owns NZ now? (Bryan Bruce)

To watch Bryan Bruce’s revealing documentary at Youtube, click on this link.
This is a real eye opener, especially if you were born after the nineties. I remember how it was as do all the other folk of my generation. Pre Rogernomics ripoff. And I heard/read recently a comment by Roger Douglas who conceded Rogernomics may not have been a good thing or words to that effect. (A woops in other words). I don’t buy that. He & others like him were well looked after following the ruination of our country. Travelling the world, educating others on their supposed ‘success’, teaching their policies of structural adjustment. Successfully ruined a lot of people & feathered their own nests would be more to the point. These people have no heart for those who suffer at their hands. Zilch.

NZ NOW RANKS AT BOTTOM OF DEVELOPED WORLD – thanks Nats, you do us proud

The latest Unicef report has us languishing at the bottom of the developed world in relation to the health and welfare our children and youth. This report was based on the data our government collects and concerningly, with regards to child poverty, a ranking wasn’t provided because of a refusal to follow standard practice (an admission of failure?). In many documented areas we are seriously neglecting our young people (ranking numbers are determined by the data provided from a maximum of 41 developed countries):

  • Child Poverty (41/41?) I consider that we must be by far the worst in the developed world for child poverty when the Government refuses to use the same measures as other countries so that we can be ranked. Our Children’s Commissioner and the Child Poverty Monitor currently state that 14% of our children suffer from material hardship. We have a much higher threshold to determine this and require 7 elements to recognise hardship, while most other countries use only two. The US is ranked 33 out of 37 for child poverty and they have 21% of their children in households living below the poverty threshold. 28% of our children live below the poverty line and 16% live in jobless households, so I would surmise that we could be the worst. We also have the most expensive housing in the world and a homelessness problem that has exploded in recent years. Between 2006 and 2013 homelessness grew by 25% and involved 1% of the population and 53% of our homeless were families with children. Now that shortages have become increasingly pronounced over the four years since then, I would suggest around 2% of the population is now homeless and many more are living in substandard housing. Third world diseases like rheumatic fever are now common place here, and are directly related to housing poverty. New Zealand is clearly too afraid to provide relevant statistics to enable us to be ranked.
  • Teen Suicide (34/34) We are the worst by a great margin. The median number of teen suicides per 1,000 for developed nations is around 7.5, while 15.5 of our 15-19 year olds take their own lives. This is a shocking indictment on the ability of families to support their teens and our severely under-resourced mental health system. I can imagine few developed countries that would lock struggling youth in adult prisons because of a shortage of youth facilities. Those specialised youth facilities that do exist are run like prisons for hardened criminals. Youth prisoners can be locked in their cells for 19 hours a day, which is classified as torture, is emotionally damaging and unlikely to support rehabilitation.

NZ Pensioner in poverty: living in a caravan to survive

As we all are finding out, District Councils NZ wide, in keeping with the current corporates feeding at the property developers trough,  are selling off the pensioner flats for later profits, and likewise landbanking our state homes. They are by increments dismantling the welfare state. This appears to include stripping the lower income folk of a roof over their heads. This woman, a victim sadly of reduncancies following the 2008 crash (thanks to the corrupt banking system) … has no job and cannot rent at the prices charged in the area her family lives. I know of similar in NZ. A friend of similar age to this woman, in another district is working part time to pay her $350 pwk converted garage!! This is growing into a crime of obscene proportions with folk living in cars or at the behest and debt to WINZ, in motels. Where are their brains (the Govt/corporation I’m talking about). Where is it logical to indebt people to the tune of $85K I read for one woman, when they could have loaned her that amount towards a house,  like they used to once in NZ. Before the banking fraternity moved in and took over. We are rapidly descending into third world status friends. The camping ground owner who has shown mercy to this woman here in the article, says they turn away at least one a day in similar circumstances. Tent cities next is it?

EnvirowatchRangitikei

From RadioNZ

An elderly woman living in the Bay of Plenty says she has no choice but to live in a caravan at a campground, because the pension is not enough to live on.

Lynette Haines, 69, is single and doesn’t own a home – she receives $390 a week through superannuation.

The cheapest liveable rentals available in Tauranga cost around $300 a week, which Ms Haines said would leave her just $90 for essentials, healthcare, and food.

She instead lives in a 3.3 metre caravan – just long enough for an average man to lie down arms stretched overhead – at a campground for $154 a week.

The Nats have Sold Out NZ with a half-trillion-dollar debt

Thanks Key, you have us right exactly (in my opinion) where  you wanted us. For starters we figure you’re profiting from this debt. For seconds we are now ripe for New World Order one world government given the borrower is slave to the lender. Forty two thousand beleaguered people without a roof over their heads. Children in poverty & our teens committing suicide. Beats me how you all have the gall to display on your election ads… “a strong economy delivering for NZers” … what? …”one of the fastest growing economies in the developed world…?”
They are choosing not to notice of course the aforementioned child poverty, homelessness & teen suicide. Stats to be proud of? These people are delusional and think we are all mentally impaired. Key, the smiling assassin, has been replaced with a slightly friendlier looking version of himself, and second in charge, a woman who’s allegedly committed welfare fraud.  (Which you’ll likely never find out about now from the rumour I heard recently). They’re sailing on like nothing’s happened in spite of an eye witness, and meanwhile Metiria’s been dealt to for her comparatively minor misdemeanors. They are dismantling our sovereignty brick by brick. Wake up peoples. (The meme below is from the video showing you the various world leaders on the end game of their so called new world order).  Tie that in with the Agenda 21/2130 plans and it all fits very nicely. Same people. Their other Trojan horse into our respective sovereign nations aside from crippling debt, is the local district councils (sustainable development aka trash everything) which note are all also in obscene debt. My district $68-100 million. ‘No worries’ they tell us, the future generations are able to share in paying for everything.

So read on about our humongous debt.
New Zealand now owes almost half a trillion dollars in debt – and a growing chunk of it belongs to ordinary households, mainly borrowing to buy property. In the start of a week-long series Tamsyn Parker spells out the problem.

New Zealand is sitting on a half-a-trillion-dollar debt bomb and Kiwis are increasingly treating their houses like cash machines, piling on the debt as they watch the value of their properties soar.

Reserve Bank figures show household debt, excluding investment property, has risen 23 per cent in the past five years to $163.4 billion. Incomes have risen only 11.5 per cent.

Households are now carrying a debt level that is equivalent to 162 per cent of their annual disposable income – higher than the level reached before the global financial crisis.

READ MORE:
Experts fear downside of debt
NZ homes among most indebted

Including property investment the total debt households owed as of April was $232.9 billion, according to the Reserve Bank.

Satish Ranchhod, a senior economist at Westpac Bank, says the main driver has been low interest rates.

“Continued low interest rates have sparked a sharp increase in household borrowing at a time when income growth has been very modest.”

And it’s housing loans where the growth has mainly come from.

Housing loan debt has risen 23.4 per cent to $132.83 billion. Student loans were up 22.9 per cent to $14.84 billion and consumer loans are up 16.6 per cent to $15.7 billion.

The United Nations 2030 Agenda decoded: It’s a blueprint for the global enslavement of humanity under the boot of corporate masters

un-1190183_1280

(NaturalNews) This week, Michael Snyder published an important article entitled The 2030 Agenda: This Month The UN Launches A Blueprint For A New World Order With The Help Of The Pope.

That article references this UN “2030 Agenda” document that pushes a blueprint for so-called “sustainable development” around the world.

This document describes nothing less than a global government takeover of every nation across the planet. The “goals” of this document are nothing more than code words for a corporate-government fascist agenda that will imprison humanity in a devastating cycle of poverty while enriching the world’s most powerful globalist corporations like Monsanto and DuPont.

In the interests of helping wake up humanity, I’ve decided to translate the 17 points of this 2030 agenda so that readers everywhere can understand what this document is really calling for. To perform this translation, you have to understand how globalists disguise their monopolistic agendas in “feel good” language.

Key, Bringing on the Pre-Election Lollipops … ‘Delivering Fairness to Everybody & a Bit More to Lower Incomes’

key.png
Key hinting at the goodies he’s considering for prospective and gullible voters

Watch Key in the Newshub video (link in article below) gesticulating with his hands, bumbling along, trying to describe a package that might just possibly garner a few votes from the folks who have effectively wiped him now. It will make you nauseous I warn you. He is moving craftily from ‘let them eat cake’ to rations of sugary election sweets, which we all know won’t last beyond election day.

This is a man, a former banker, who has basically raped and pillaged our nation since he was elected, selling off our assets with little accountability, unloading our state housing  stock that just happens to sit on prime real estate … while heartlessly ignoring the 41,000 plus who are  homeless, promising lollies here for the poor … having ignored growing child poverty in his midst,  taxing himself 2.8% and the real workers 28%, and telling us he has a family package that will aim to … get this …

“deliver fairness to everybody, and a bit more at the lower income level”

1509978_745670518844847_403082449805717955_n

This is breathtaking arrogance. Having quickly forgotten he grew up in a state house himself, he is totally ignorant of the true state of the nation under his watch. Unbelievably, he thinks he can just front up with a little lolly scramble to titillate the voters. For a reminder of what has happened under his watch listen to Green Party’s Gareth Hughes earlier this year delivering an apt and succinct overview…

For a full transcript of this speech go to The Daily Blog.

“Kia ora

Prime Minister, I’ve sat and listened to all your speeches opening Parliament and I’d like to congratulate you on delivering your 8th speech.

It’s a real accomplishment and you must be now thinking how history will remember you.

Just outside of this debating chamber are the portraits of our great leaders.

From Seddon, to Savage and Fraser to Kirk how do these giants who established universal suffrage, a caring state in the midst of a depression and world war and a modern independent, bicultural New Zealand compare with you?

Is the flag it?

Your desperate, lumbering, grasping attempt at building a legacy with a flag won’t mask the realities.

Hungry kids up
Inequality up
Pollution up
Debt up
Housing costs up
Electricity costs up
Foreign ownership up
Corruption up …”

Here then is the article from newshub.co.nz, including the video… if you can tolerate listening to the hypocrisy…

Key: Families first in line for tax cuts

The Prime Minister has indicated any tax cuts offered next year are likely to be delivered with a scalpel, rather than a hammer.

The 2017 Budget will be delivered in May as usual, about six months ahead of the general election, where John Key is expected to seek a fourth term.

Speaking on The Nation on Saturday, Mr Key said there is a “range of options”, but hinted that he’s leaning towards tweaks to Working for Families and the accommodation supplement.

Simply cutting tax rates or lifting the thresholds at which higher rates kick in wouldn’t be “fair to everybody”.

“If you lower the bottom rate, you give it to everybody at the top and it costs a fortune,” he explained.

“Whereas you might be able to do some integrated family package… which delivers fairness to everybody but a bit more meaningful at the lower-income end.”

But changes to income tax brackets haven’t been ruled out. Presently, the top rate of 33 cents in the dollar kicks in at $70,000. As incomes rise, more people find themselves earning enough to start paying the top tax rate.

“People are getting bumped into the top personal rate without doing too much,” says Mr Key.

Asked if beefing up the accommodation supplement was on the cards, particularly in areas where rents have risen sharply, Mr Key said: “That may well be right.”

He hasn’t yet decided whether any changes would come in Budget 2017 or used to woo voters in next year’s election campaign.

Electrical Engineer explains billing increases with Smart Meters … from stopsmartmeters NZ site

electrician-1080573_1280

This is from stopsmartmeters.org.nz  A recent post here concerning the billing increases for our elderly people raised the question, ‘are Smart Meters a factor in this equation?’ It’s reported the elderly are staying in bed long hours to keep warm & to avoid turning on heaters. In a country that has fast retreated from its welfare state status, this is heinous … to some at least. But not to those in power who are blatantly ignoring the plight of youngsters who attend school without lunch and families living in garages and tents because there is an affordable housing shortage … while at the same time selling off the housing stock and borrowing millions a week to keep us afloat. At the same time the power companies are doing very well thank you very much. Contact Energy in the year to June 30 2015, produced a 17.6 per cent increase in net profit of $234 million. Any suspicions I’ve had about the Smart Meter contribution to billing hikes is confirmed by this Electrical Engineer. If you’re still in doubt please watch the award-winning documentary, Take Back Your Power.

Here are some excerpts from the article by the Electrical Engineer:

  • “My research shows that the increases will all be above a 20% increase from previous billings  …

  • What the Smart meters can an do very efficiently is totalises up all these extra frequencies up to the 20th harmonic and produces a greatly inflated bill for power that you cannot utilise and invariable produced illegally above the Standard 5% threshold. The revolving Analogue Meter absorbs these and do not speed up to increase the billed amount…

  • With the health issues aside the use of the Smart Meter Technology is claimed to have many benefits to the consumer, retailer and the country as a whole by better utilizing resources and decreasing our carbon imprint. In New Zealand nothing could be further from the truth. What every consumer will notice immediately with out any doubt is the increase of their Billing Costs over the old Analogue meter billing.”

The Housing Crisis: A Midwife Delivering Babies by the Light of Her Cell Phone

Copy of IMG_4864.JPG

With Banker Key in denial about the housing crisis (41,000 homeless isn’t a crisis?), a multitude of ‘pass the buck’ reasons for why we’re a bit short of roofs over heads (Labour’s fault, you know, that other rider of the same corporate horse) … and a midwife delivering babies in squalor by the light of her cell phone. It’s sounding more and more like Dickensian England.

Welcome to Paradise in the South Seas, GE free, nuclear free and clean and green to boot.

Mr Key (who grew up in a state house like the ones he is now selling off en mass) owns tens of millions of dollars’ worth of property, including his family home in Parnell, two holiday homes, an office and an apartment in London.

John Key blames Helen Clark for housing crisis

By   newshub

A midwife is expected to tell how she’s had to deliver babies at night by the light of her cellphone at the cross-party inquiry into homelessness.

The inquiry, set up by Labour, the Greens and the Maori Pary, is in Tauranga on Monday. The Government blocked efforts to open an official investigation into the crisis, which is at record levels according to both research and social agencies like the Salvation Army.

“In her submission she talks about delivering babies by the light of her cellphone in squalid houses that don’t have any electricity,” Labour housing spokesperson Phil Twyford told Paul Henry.

Labour wants a state of emergency declared over the housing crisis, particularly in Auckland where prices are at record highs and still rising.

Prime Minister John Key says that won’t happen, and the housing crisis – if it is one – is not his fault.

“Under the nine years that Helen was Prime Minister, my friend, nationally house prices went up 102 percent. Under us in eight years, they’ve gone up 43. In Auckland they went up 87 percent I think – under us it’s about the same,” he said.

“If it was a state of emergency now, a crisis now, why wasn’t it a state of emergency and a crisis then?”

Banana Republic: the ugly story behind New Zealand’s most popular fruit

Here is how the corporate world we live in oppresses the vulnerable. (This is why Key & his cronies are for TPPA). Corporations now set up shop wherever there is cheap labour to be found. Six dollars per 18 hour day in this instance! Dole in this instance pays 27 cents in the Philippines per kg of bananas, that then sell for $3-4 per kg in NZ. Vulnerable families who have frequently been deprived of their ancestral lands, as was the case way back when the colonial predators first set foot, are forced to work for the invader who only visits their shores in search of investment opportunities … resources, cheap labour, a chance to make a buck basically. All the colonial claptrap about bringing civilization is just that … corporations owe their first and only allegiance to their shareholders. Human beings who work for them, who buy their goods, are not a consideration at all. Maximize profits is their bottom line. Remember this when you eat your bananas. Speak up & expose these predators for what they are. And spare a thought for the young parents who have little time to give to their families because of this.

From the top of a rusting observation tower, the leaves stretch out in every direction: thick, glossy, utterly uniform, as far as the eye can see.

It is silent at the centre of the plantation. No birds calling, no hum of insects, only the low whine of planes dumping their loads of pesticide in the distance. Banana bunches wrapped in blue plastic hang like alien egg sacs from the branches. The plantations cover around 10,000 hectares, encircling small villages, networks of roads, and the entire lives of the growers, who work, eat, sleep, live and die among the trees.

She and her team work 15 to 18 hours per day to meet their packing targets of around 800 boxes. For that they are paid 200 pesos, the equivalent of NZ$6.

Francisco B. Milallos, 65, has worked here his whole life, but this season he was too old to be granted a contract. He helps his wife with her work, and today has taken it upon himself to act as guide. Pausing to scuff the ground, he spits, and sweeps out an arm to gesture at the trees.

“So! This is where your bananas come from.”

Corporations – Sucking our Planet Dry

A corporation has been defined as “… a business structure whose sole reason for existence is the earning of profits by manufacturing products for as little as possible and selling them for as much as possible. It does not matter whether the product does good or evil; what counts is that it be consumed – in ever-increasing quantities”.

(Note: therein lies the root of our whole recycling problem … think of all the packaging that goes with those products … plastic wrapping, meat trays,  polystyrene and plastic bottles just for starters).

corporate rip offs

Giant multinational corporations have become society’s most dominant institution. As a student of social policy in the early 1980s I well recall being  told there would come a day when corporations would control governments … difficult at the time to conceive of … nevertheless this is exactly what has happened. It was difficult to conceive because it was an era when unemployment was low, benefits for the few who required them were at a livable level and education was relatively free. We were a welfare state. That has changed for we were sharply reminded we were a capitalist welfare state.

WINZ takes ‘let them eat cake’ to a whole new level – while white collar corporate criminals go free

Copy of donut-791837_1280
NZ Govt taking ‘let them eat cake’ to a whole new level

This really takes the cake so to speak, bringing ‘let them eat cake’ to a whole new level! The Daily Blog reports on the reception a legally blind woman had from her case worker recently in Auckland. Firstly she says to her “you don’t look blind” then she pulls out a piece of paper, hands it to her, folds her arms and demands she read it and prove her wrong! These are the depths to which our government/corporate offices have sunk nowadays. Bonuses are earned (I’ve heard from a former WINZ worker) by those who manage to save the company funds.

There are humane workers at WINZ offices who respect people. But there are also many, unfortunately, like this poor specimen, who humiliate and denigrate their customers (forgetting that without their customers they would have no job themselves). These stories have been rolling out of late with the current homelessness crisis and people sleeping rough in the cities, or in their cars even. We’ve also heard stories of people with cancer and leukemia being told to look for work, the latter in particular, a man with two children to support, and at the time sick in his hospital bed.

White collar crime is responsible for far more tax dollars lost than benefit fraud

This attitude reflects the great disrespect our corporately biased system has for the lower income bracket particularly those without jobs and in this case, the disabled. White collar workers on the other hand, who defraud the system are treated very favourably, particularly by the justice system.
Dr Lisa Marriott, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Accounting and Commercial Law at Victoria University, has stated that:

“Benefit fraud cost New Zealand $22 million in 2010, or around $5 for each New Zealander. While it is difficult to get accurate figures for tax evasion, the Tax Justice Network estimates New Zealand missed out on more than $7.4 billion of tax revenue in 2011, or around $1,500 per New Zealander…

So the figures for tax evasion are phenomenal while they are relatively small for benefit fraud…”

On top of all this the corporate media makes much of the vilified beneficiary who cheats the tax payer of the said $5, whilst it seldom if ever mentions the white collar criminal who cheats the same for $1500. Indeed it quite blatantly misleads the NZ public with its failure to mention these stats, stirring up hatred and disinfo against the less fortunate in our midst.

Prime Minister Key who doesn’t believe we have a homeless problem

So much for justice and equity in our once prosperous welfare state.  And let’s not forget, we once had full employment in this nation of ours. There was a job for everybody. And what happened to change that? It wasn’t the fault of people on benefits as the corporate media often subtly misleads us to believe. Let’s lay the blame squarely where it belongs…Rogernomics and the new neoliberal experiment … irresponsible governments that borrowed us into the big black hole we are now in. That has left an ever widening gap between rich and poor, and a crisis of homelessness that isn’t going to go away any time soon. Finally, keep in mind we are a corporation and corporations are about profits and not people.

Agenda 21 is right on track in NZ … Key’s legacy

John Key’s legacy spelled out in scathing terms by Green Party MP Gareth Hughes on February 11th this year (2016). “Hungry kids … up, inequality … up, pollution … up, electricity costs … up, housing costs … up, foreign ownership … up, debt … up, corruption … up … “. His legacy if you like, epitomizes everything Agenda 21 is about.

The United Nations 2030 Agenda decoded

“(NaturalNews) This week, Michael Snyder published an important article entitled The 2030 Agenda: This Month The UN Launches A Blueprint For A New World Order With The Help Of The Pope.

To perform this translation, you have to understand how globalists disguise their monopolistic agendas in “feel good” language…”

NZ needs a Consul-General (and a $6.2 mill mansion) in Hawaii because ‘the US has big defense headquarters in Honolulu’ … really?

Our pretend government aka corporation is borrowing $27 mill a day to keep us afloat, and has spent $6.2 mill on a house that is double the value of surrounding houses. It’s not a house it’s a mansion fit for a king. Our corporation is also flogging off our state housing, whilst many Kiwis are homeless and doesn’t give a toss about kids in poverty. Here then is a blatant example of ‘let them eat cake’. Something has gone terribly wrong with this country that once stamped out poverty and homelessness. Our CEO is a banker folks, he’s not a leader. He simply poses as one.

In case you missed it, the corporatization of our nation & its former government departments has led to a bottom line of maximizing profits. People no longer matter.

Untitled
$6.2 mill mansion for NZ Diplomat

“Would you like to own a $6.2 million house in Hawaii? Good news – you already do. But bad news – the Government has bought the place for a diplomat.

It has inspired Story to start up a brand new segment called Silly Spending.

One of the many real estate ads for the home describes it as “ultimate modern luxury”.

“The crystal chandeliers are a great touch. The whole effect is one of a jewel box.”

It is 570 square metres of exceptional floor plan. It’s about four times bigger than your house, if you live in an average New Zealand home.

It’s got a pool and spa deck and it’s one block from the beach. The house is almost twice the average price of houses around it.

We bought the pad last year for diplomat Rob Kaiwai. He’s New Zealand’s first-ever Consul-General in Hawaii. We set up that posting last year to help out the 14 diplomatic postings we already had across the United States.

If you’re thinking he might need his house for high-powered meetings, that’s what the office in downtown Honolulu is for.”

At UN Summit, World Rulers Adopt Agenda for Global Socialism – the Sequel to Agenda 21

Here we have the sequel to Agenda 21, namely Agenda 2030. As always we are fed the thin end of the wedge in a palatable form (the 21 version) … like the frog in warm water analogy … the temperature is raised now the first version is has been taken on board. Look beyond the surface peeps. Agenda 21 has a whole different agenda to the stated version. Check out the take on it presented by those who have worked longer term with it .. who have taken the time to spell these out for you.

Here we have the follow-up. Watch where they are taking us all under the guise of caring so much about poverty that nobody is left out  … since when have the powers that be cared about the poor? Even less so now, witness the way corporations screw the poor in their sweat shops and dump on them all manner of poisons banned in the West. Then we have that even bigger lie, ‘sustainability’… from the crowd who turn blind eyes continually to the long term trashing of our planet by mega corporations that are a law unto themselves. The oil spills, the decimation of our wildlife, the trashing of our ocean … sustainability (as Rosa Koire has so aptly described it, the green mask) is a carefully constructed lie.

Remember, the UN is where our former PM Helen Clarke is working on … you guessed it … ‘global governance’. We have a plan here for a one world government where all is peace and harmony and nobody goes without.  Yeah right! Watch this space.

For a brief preamble on Agenda 21 go to our page of that name, and/or watch this short video by Australian ex politician Anne Bressington

Here is the article about Agenda 2030 by   (thenewamerican.com)

“A far-reaching United Nations plot to re-engineer civilization and impose global socialism on humanity, variously dubbed “Agenda 2030” and the “Sustainable Development Agenda,” was ushered in on Friday with a “thunderous standing ovation,” the UN Department of Public Information reported. Every one of the 193 UN member governments on the planet — from communist and Islamist dictatorships to those ruling what remains of the “Free World” — vowed to help impose the UN’s controversial goals on their subjects. Indeed, according to the UN and the global agreement itself, not a single human being will be allowed to escape what one prominent internationalist ominously referred to as the next “Great Leap Forward.”
