The poor and weakest members of society should get preferential treatment when a vaccine for the coronavirus is available according to Pope Francis.

Brirish health secretary Matt Hancock has confirmed that the military would be involved in distributing a coronavirus vaccine.

Hancock said the UK government is “working as hard as we can” to get a vaccine ready, and added that the military would be involved in “making the rollout happen.”

The health secretary added: “The plans are in train. A combination of the NHS and the armed forces are involved in the logistics of making this happen…”
