(Natural News) By now, you are aware that President Trump ordered a “precision strike” against Syria’s so-called “chemical weapon sites” run by Assad. The strike was deployed in response to an utterly false, absurd narrative that claims Assad gassed children with chemical weapons.
Beware of any news about an event that reportedly involves the deaths of children. In nearly every major false flag event — from the USA to the Middle East — children are used as props to generate “emotional terrorism” outrage as a form of social manipulation in order to achieve a political purpose. This doesn’t mean real children didn’t die, by the way. As I’ve explained numerous times, a “false flag” event involves real deaths wrapped around a fake narrative. Real children died in Syria, just as they did in the Oklahoma City bombing. But the official stories we’re told about why those children died are complete hogwash.
We’ve seen this countless times in recent history, including going all the way back to the federal government’s murderous assault on the David Koresh compound in Waco, Texas, in 1993. The assault was nothing less than a murderous rampage by rogue government agents who murdered women and children in cold blood, yet the “official” story was that David Koresh set fire to his own buildings and murdered his entire family by burning them alive. (Seriously. That’s what the media still wants you to believe.)
The explanation that Assad gassed his own citizen children with chemical weapons is similarly absurd. You’d have to be a complete stooge to believe it. In an article entitled, “Ten Days Before The End Of The World,” written on April 12th, Paul Craig Roberts writes:

The United States Air Force has confirmed its intention to have the world-renowned F-16 Fighting Falcon Jet Demonstration Team attend Wanaka from the Misawa Air Force base in Japan. Also displaying at the Airshow will be the C-17 Globemaster Demonstration Team out of Hawaii. Both the F-16s and the C-17 will operate out of Christchurch International Airport for the duration of the Airshow. Christchurch Airport is to host the Americans on the ground as according to the airshow organisers they’re unable to land at Wanaka. The RNZAF will help out with flying members of the US contingent through to the Airshow at various times over the weekend say the show’s organisers.
The timing of the visit which can expect aircraft to fly in ahead of the show coincides with the visit of former President Barack Obama and a month ahead of Hillary Clinton’s visit organized by the US Chamber of Commerce and US Business Council, the organization heavily involved in lobbying for the TPPA and believed to be in discussion regarding the reentry of the US into the treaty following the next American election (thought Trump hinted at the re-entry of USA into TPPA at Davos in Janaury this year). Therefore potentially the aircraft may also be participating in the anticipated visit by Obama to the South Island following the sighting of private jets, used in the advanced Secret Serivce of Bill Clinton during APEC 1999, in Dunedin earlier this month.
The American aircraft will not only ensure the biggest ever line up of modern military aircraft at the Wanaka airshow but the RNZAF intends to have one of the largest turnouts of its aircraft types at the Airshow. This is in addition to other Five Eyes (the defacto military arm of the TPPA) members attending the show including the Australians who are sending a Spartan transport aircraft along with Hawk Jets while the French are coming with the CASA transport jet.
Wanaka is currently also the site of a NASA facility funded by the US military, one of several facilities to pop up or expand using equipment built by known military contractors, these include the expanded Waihopai facility in Blenheim, Rocket lab in Gisborne, a private facility however funded by the US Navy, expanded tracking facilities in Bluff, among other known or suspected sites upgraded or added to in the past few years.
Further the visit by contemporary military aircraft at this year’s air show is not the only time we have seen an influx of Five Eyes military aircraft to New Zealand.
On August 3 2017,” New Zealand Defense Minister Mark Mitchell confirmed that Singapore’s fighter jets would be participating in an upcoming military exercise between the two countries. The news came as the two sides consider options for basing these aircraft in one of the country’s largest airfields for training as part of their broader effort to further their military cooperation in the coming years”. (Ohakea will also be basing a Singapore cyber intelligence unit and comes at the time Five Eyes is using Information Dominance warfare to suppress dissenting voices on social media).
Singapore is believed to have left equipment when their intelligence, cyber intelligence and artillery trained here during Operation Rolling Thunder while the USA left helicopters and other equipment here during Operation Koru in 2015. These exercises mark an escalated presence by Five Eyes security forces since 2011 including several visits by the US marines based in Hawaii. Our sources suggest this includes building barracks for the Marines (at this stage able to house 300 soldiers) in Waiouru for permanent “winter training”.
In January 2017, Singapore and New Zealand officials discussed stepping up cooperation through various ways. One of these opportunities had been for Singapore to set up a pilot training base at Ohakea Air Base, New Zealand’s third largest airfield, recently subject to a $2 billion dollar upgrade, as the land-scarce city state continues to look for other partners that can provide room for it to train its armed forces.
In February 2017 two Singapore F-15s were at the Ohakea Air Base for celebrations commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Royal New Zealand Air Force. And in June, when New Zealand’s air force chief Tony Davies paid a visit to Singapore, he viewed a static display of the F-15 fighter aircraft at Paya Lebar Air Base.
On August 3, Mitchell, the defense minister, announced that a Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) training exercise hosted by the Royal New Zealand Air Force would take place at Ohakea Air Force base from 30 August to 25 September. Jacinda Adern and Winston Peters who have both confirmed their commitment to both the TPPA and the Five Eyes security alliance have yet to suggest this proposal or the 20 billion earmarked under national will be scrapped under their administration.
This month Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern said her ministers were working to get an exemption for New Zealand from the US’ imposition of tariffs on steel and aluminium. This supports the Postman’s claims last month that the current trade war and aluminum tariffs would be used by the USA to reinstate it self in the TPPA and have the currently suspended TPPA provision reinstated. The Tiwai smelter employs over 3000* people and is the backbone of Southland economy which generates over 20% pf the country’s gross domestic product.
Adern told reporters New Zealand had a strong case for an exemption because of its “long defense and security relationship with the United States stating New Zealand was clearly not an intended target of the tariffs, given its steel exports to the US were small. Ardern stated New Zealand’s relationship was similar to Australia’s in many ways and Australia had been given the exemption. Both New Zealand and Australia are ‘five eyes’ intelligence partners with the US.

We had Key keeping in step with the arms trade not so long ago. Keeping up with big brother Amerika (that country that has been at war 93% of the time – 222 out of 239 years – since 1776). Although now the brave soldiers are killing people including civilians from their armchairs with drone warfare. We’ve come so far haven’t we? Killing’s become a very fine art indeed. I heard the other day there’s a Lockheed Martin Factory in the Wellington region now. Same corporation that has its fingers in the Rocket Pad pie up the East Coast. Key got us well into those corporate pockets.
Anyway Aus is set to excel at the weapons trade & become one of the world’s ‘top dogs’. Australia is set to become one of the world’s largest arms exporters under a controversial Turnbull government plan.
The prime minister, Malcolm Turnbull, has unveiled a new “defence export strategy” setting out the policy and strategy to make Australia one of the world’s top 10 weapons exporters within the next decade.
Hailing it a job-creating plan for local manufacturers, the Coalition says Australia only sells about $1.5bn to $2.5bn in “defence exports” a year and it wants the value of those exports to increase significantly.
It has identified a number of “priority markets”: the Middle East, the Indo-Pacific region, Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand.
It will set up a new Defence Export Office to work hand in hand with Austrade and the Centre for Defence Industry Capability to coordinate the commonwealth’s whole-of-government export efforts and provide a focal point for more arms exports.
A $3.8bn Defence Export Facility, to be administered by the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation, will provide the finance local companies need to help them sell their defence equipment overseas.
A new Australian Defence Export Advocate position, set up to support the Australian Defence Export Office, will provide industry with the constant high-level advocacy needed to promote Australian-made weapons overseas.

Many people are wondering what really caused Fukushima. While we can look into the geologic studies that were taken prior to the Daiichi event, outlining the active 200 meter fault line that Honshu Island rests right on top off, we are obliged as citizens to look even deeper, more so with the admission of an anonymous U.S. government nuclear official that radiation leaking from the plant just 100 meters away is “astronomical.”
Uranium can be mined for some medical purposes and to make electricity, but its main purpose was and is to fuel nuclear warfare against the world. Just six mines provide 85 percent of the world’s uranium and guess who owns the mineral rights to that land?
It may be surprising to realize it is none other than the Queen of England.
She is not alone in her fear-mongering. Our own government has helped to perpetrate warfare using this substance well before Fukushima. Think about some 450,000 military and civilians who have been rotated from America to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo and other areas where Depleted Uranium Weapons were utilized. Imagine that the U.S. Government KNEW of the RADTriage dosimeter and cost of $20.00 even when the older models were brought out. Some SEALS and special ops units were provided no doubt with smaller and cheaper models which sold for perhaps $10.00 and registered similarly from 1-50 RADS.

Many prayed for the UN to step in and hear from two senior citizens who tried to ask for 10 minutes to appear at the UN at their own costs without payment from the United States Government or anyone!
Those brave military and civilians serving one full year IN COUNTRY with DU Weapons and DU Particles contaminating the Air, Earth, Animals, Birds, Fowl, Pets, Humans, plus Water would find by dedicated specialists from France and the United States such as Doctor Moret and Doctor Rokke that the entire areas are HOT with radiation and exposure was unknown levels for the first 450,000 brave American’s serving their President.

Of course most of us need wars like we need a hole in the head. Not the bankers however … war is an endless money spinner for them especially when you can fund both sides. So this ‘wonderful’ new weapon can take down a truck from a mile away, and can also destroy drones, vehicles, rockets, boats and more. We are buttered up with the promise of protecting hospitals and taking out the latest boogey man terrorists (appropriately named ATHENA, patron protectress of various Greek cities) … the essential pre requisites for more war & ‘ka-ching’, profits. Lockheed Martin partially fund the Mahia NZ rocket base along with our faithful-to-the US government/corporation, thanks to Key for that $25 mill that could’ve housed quite a few homeless instead. A reminder of how money focused ‘protection’ is these days, a screen shot from the weapons fest we had in 2016 hosted by the NZ gov. $10K per head if you wanted to attend dinner with the trimmings. (Natural News) Gulf War Illness (GWI), or Gulf War Syndrome, is the name given to a cluster of chronic symptoms affecting Gulf War veterans and civilian workers. The cause behind these symptoms — which range from fatigue to joint pains to memory problems — has been studied and debated on for the longest time. Yet scientists from Rutgers Medical School and the Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System may have found an another potential answer, and lingering effect of this conflict; one that lies in mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA).
According to lead researcher Michael J. Falvo, the idea for looking into the mitochondria came shortly after he joined the Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System. There, he learned that numerous Gulf War veterans had unexplained symptoms throughout many areas of their bodies. “To me, that sounded awfully consistent with the symptoms of mitochondrial disorders. After reviewing the literature, I realized at that time there was no published study on GWI that investigated whether mitochondrial dysfunction contributed to symptoms,” explained Falvo.
As part of their study, Falvo and his colleagues recruited 28 participants: 21 veterans who had GWI, and three veterans without GWI, and four non-veterans who served as the control group. Blood samples were collected from each participant, which were then analyzed using a revolutionary technique that allowed the researchers to study the mtDNA without having to isolate it from total DNA.
They discovered that the veterans with GWI had more mtDNA and a greater number of lesions, implicating an overabundance of DNA damage. As stated on ScienceDaily.com, the lesions were direct measures of DNA damage, while the extra copies of mtDNA were reflections of the body’s response to the damage.

Why are martial law military exercises being held in Local Communities?
Forest and Bird chief executive Kevin Hague said in July that documents released under the Official Information Act indicated that ‘the scope of law and regulation that the government is proposing to suspend, to facilitate these developments, is breath-taking’.
Residents in Tasman-Buller question the New Zealand Defence Force’s judgement in staging more huge ‘war games’ in their townships. This year’s exercise began last week and will continue until mid-November. The military exercise continues Southern Katipo, held in Nelson-Tasman-Buller-Marlborough in 2015. This year, West Coast and Kaikoura districts are included.
More than two thousand troops from New Zealand, the US, UK, Canada, Australia, the Pacific and elsewhere are involved. Some military personnel are ‘embedded’ in local communities before the exercise begins.
During the 2015 exercise, Murchison (population 500), was ‘occupied’ by international military forces for one month. While some Murchison residents were comfortable with that, others say it was a stressful ordeal.
Parks and sports areas were requisitioned by the military and declared off-limits to locals, while troops conducted armed exercises around the shopping area, on domestic streets, in rural areas and within Kahurangi National Park.
One woman said that ‘Helicopters buzzed overhead for most of the day, huge military aircraft flew low over our homes, and it was scary waking up to find armed troops running up your street.’
During one exercise, NZDF invited Murchison residents to volunteer to stage a mock protest against the military. Civilians, including a large number of school students, willingly took part, waving placards and throwing water bombs at troops, and they were encouraged to chant and act aggressively toward troops.
The ‘protest’ turned ugly, however, with several civilians being thrown to the ground, handcuffed and dragged away, with several sustaining injuries. One young woman reported on Facebook that she had been pulled into a tank and that she had been assaulted. After a visit from Defence personnel the post was removed.
New Zealand Defence Force director of joint exercise planning Lieutenant Colonel Martin Dransfield later described the fracas as ‘unfortunate’ and said all attempts would be made to avoid a similar outcome during this year’s operation.
Others say that is not good enough and that urban ‘war game’ exercises should be banned altogether, and that a public enquiry should be conducted into the Murchison event.
The use of civilian volunteers in ‘war-game’ activities shows a regrettable lack of judgement on the part of NZDF, and encouraging school students to take part in the exercises is simply irresponsible. One can only hope that new Health and Safety regulations will preclude civilian involvement in order to ensure their safety in the future.

One woman who took part in an actual protest, peacefully standing with other Murchison women opposed to the military’s entry into their town, said the women were manhandled with unnecessary aggression by troops. She says the ‘war-games’ experience has left her with a lingering fear of the military, and a mistrust of the police, who worked in tandem with them for the duration of the exercise.
If the exercises had been designed solely for humanitarian purposes – support after a natural disaster, such as an earthquake or severe weather event – they would be welcome, but the exercises are fundamentally designed to quell ‘civil unrest’, and that is where the story begins to get very murky.
The military exercises are supposedly based on a fictitious scenario set in a Pacific region called Becara, which is now suffering high unemployment, due to a decline in forestry, coal and gold mining and ‘low investor confidence’. When the Becaran government proposes a new economic vision for the region, some Becarans object and form a resistance movement to oppose it.
What worries some locals is that NZDF also say that the exercises could potentially be used ‘either in New Zealand or one of our Pacific neighbours’ and it’s the admission they could be enacted in New Zealand that gives cause for concern.
Becara bears an uncanny resemblance to the southern West Coast, where the former National Government was working hard to implement ‘special economic zones’ which would allow them to bypass existing regulations in order to speed up the issuance of mining and oil exploration permits.
Forest and Bird chief executive Kevin Hague said in July that documents released under the Official Information Act indicated that ‘the scope of law and regulation that the government is proposing to suspend, to facilitate these developments, is breath-taking’.
And with off-shore oil drilling also a contentious issue in the region, is it too much of a coincidence that this year’s exercise includes a military response to ‘a dispute over offshore oil reserves’?
The Tasman-Buller-West Coast region home to numerous environmentalists who are likely to resist the development of special economic zones and offshore oil drilling, which raises the question of why NZDF specifically asked locals to pay the role of ‘protesters’ against them during the Murchison protest. Denigrating protesters by inference sets a dangerous precedence in a country like New Zealand, where the right to free speech and peaceful protest is still considered a civil right and a democratic privilege.
And finally, if five military helicopters, six airlift aircraft, two Globemasters and an Orion surveillance aircraft were not enough to worry a small town, many New Zealanders would be concerned to learn that a highly sophisticated RQ4 Global Hawk drone, remotely operated from the US Air Base in Guam, also took part in the exercise. It’s role? To capture ‘images of simulated adversary areas of interest’.
NZ Defence say the drone’s visit was in accordance with the New Zealand Search and Surveillance Act of 2012, and that owners of land in the area gave permission for imagery to be taken. This would hardly allay the fears of many New Zealanders likely to be alarmed at the surveillance role the US played in the exercise. Having a US drone this sophisticated, more commonly deployed in US war zones, tracking ‘adversaries’ – simulated or otherwise – over New Zealand land is a matter of public concern.
One local believes that actual surveillance was taking place on the ground well before, and well after, the exercise, and that some military informants were embedded as wwoofers to spy on some residents.
The decision to hold war games in residential settings are a legacy of PM John Key’s tenure, and well overdue for review. New Zealanders don’t need armed troops running up suburban streets, military helicopters buzzing overhead or school students role-playing for the army. Nor do they need foreign drones in the air or military ‘actors’ secretly embedded in their communities gathering information. It’s high time that military exercises were urgently returned to military bases local New Zealand communities allowed to get on with their peaceful lives.

I would say this must take the moron award for the year quite frankly. We know how in the US pocket (see here also) our government/corporation is witness the recent goings on with the weapons giants (known more popularly and respectably as ‘defense’ corporations) like the one that is financially partnering with the rocket base operation in Mahia, also funded with $15 mill of your tax dollars). Then we had war celebrations last year that pretty much buried our nuclear free status. All advertised with a touch of bling. Follow the money trail. Our esteemed leaders recently gave $20 billion to the ‘defense’ industry, whilst ignoring 41K homeless & our new status on the UNICEF’s child poverty index. No shame whatsoever.
So why are they taking weapons to primary school children? What springs to mind for me is preparing the young mind (early) for recruitment although that is quickly dismissed as the motive in the news item. Part of a leadership course they say. Sure, teach kids to lead … with GUNS? Really? Why is the military teaching leadership & why
with guns? Hasn’t there been enough strife in schools with guns? Who needs them? Watch the video and see the kids’ reactions. “Amazing and cool” (to hold the weapons). Very young and impressionable minds. Note they are not being shown images of bloody children and their families from war torn countries. Or told (presumably) of the remote killing done by drones … from an armchair. Just the glitzy, amazing, cool weapons … for now.
The other rationale for this that occurs is ‘normalizing’ and ‘glorifying’ the presence of guns and military. We’ve seen this in recent years more and more with the many drills we have going on with troops from all over the planet (the new global village – interdependence it’s called) playing out war games right in our midst. The new global village is simply the new world order announced publicly by US president Bush Snr after the Gulf War, and other world leaders since then. This new presence of the military in the public’s midst is totally unnecessary. We can be defended quite adequately without all of that publicity. I recall as a child passing through the Desert Road occasionally, when we looked out excitedly for the possible (and rare) sighting of a tank doing war practice. Now they are venturing into our towns with their war ‘games’, making it look like fun. We need to be asking ourselves ‘why?’ Our esteemed Police have morphed from the friendly country constable to something out of star wars, storm troopers with flak jackets and weapons. Witness the Tuhoe raids in 2007 where these characters not only stopped and entered school buses frightening the life out of little school kids, they also escorted young children outside with guns to their heads and detained them in their garage without food or water for nine hours. (Note though, they did bring in a van load of provisions but only for themselves. Great leadership skills guys). Watch the video at the link. Far from the public eye they were basically traumatizing and ill treating young impressionable kids. A far cry from the so-called ‘leadership training’ touted as the rationale for handing guns out at primary schools. Okay this was the Police and not the military but you would have to be blind not to see the blurring of lines occurring.

So … guns in primary schools? Not a good sign in my opinion. Call me paranoid if you will but I see it as very sinister. They might have squeaked by in upper level high school but primary? Kids using rifles in schools is completely legal – for now.
But that is set to change in about four months time when Education Minister Nikki Kaye introduces clear guidelines outlining when it’s appropriate for firearms to be on school grounds.
Several MPs raised the issue of guns in schools with Kaye after a Stuff story in April revealed the army allowed 9 to 13-year-olds to get their hands on unloaded guns and learn how to assemble and fire an assault rifle. However Kaye says she’s “pretty conservative” when it comes to guns in schools and as a “general rule” she doesn’t support it.
“It was drawn to my attention that there was a situation the other day where the army brought some rifles into schools and that’s absolutely allowed under the law.
“I’ve asked whether there are any guidelines in this area and it’s clear there aren’t, so I’ve asked the Ministry of Education and NZSTA (New Zealand School Trustees Association) to work on some guidelines.”
At the time of the school visit Corporal Israel McNicholl said, “kids just love the guns, you know what kids are like … but they are not toys”.

Rocket Lab is an American aerospace corporation launching out of New Zealand

Did you know that NZ now has a rocket base? This news seems to have flown under the radar for many. I only noticed it myself a month or so ago. The base is actually situated in Mahia on the East Coast of the North Island, however it was originally planned for the South Island at Kaitorete Spit near Christchurch, also near Birdling Flat and the Radar/Haarp Station there (more on NZ Haarp here and here). The length of time obtaining consents appears to have been the deciding factor about a change in tack. Rocket Lab noted one thing that prevented it from launching close to Christchurch which was the need for a cultural impact assessment from the council. A decision was made to locate the launch pad at Mahia instead. A cultural impact assessment (CIA) is …

The launch pad is stated in the following article to be, environmentally friendly, which is heartening indeed given our environment that masquerades as ‘clean and green’ still is in reality pretty much trashed. And regarding partnership with the world’s “largest defense contractor, let’s not kid ourselves, can never be termed ‘friendly’ in any sense of the word, given the carnage we are witnessing daily in terms of civilian deaths, if you happen to read alternative media that is. Neither will the Government/corporation be … corporations are about profits not people. If the Government really had a mind to help people they would not make hard working families on minimum wage pay more tax than themselves. Neither would they let corporations off with tax. Mainstream media tends to not overly highlight the deaths of little children and their parents in the many global conflicts. It gives war a bad name and they, including our Government/corporation, prefer to re frame and name it as ‘defense’. This is what John Key committed $20 billion of your money to last year (Kiwis) … not war … ‘defense’. They are defending us from Isis and similar terrorist threats that their friends in the US helped to create. And the US’s Madeleine Albright thinks the death of 500,000 Iraqi children was still “worth it”. The British Royals are not averse to trading in weapons either.
Lockheed Martin is the world’s largest weapons manufacturer and supplier to such regimes as Saudi Arabia, a country that today stands accused of using these very weapons to commit war crimes.

On Saturday the remote site on Onenui Station was blessed and the lease agreement signed between Rocket Lab and the landowners — representatives of Tawapata South Incorporation.
So we in NZ are now third highest in the developed world for child poverty. We had 41K homeless last time I looked, and 33K empty homes in Auckland belonging to people who don’t even live here. This is the way of Neo-Lib economics. It doesn’t care about children, it doesn’t care about families, it doesn’t care about the vulnerable. NZ has spent $25 million on this pad, the country that is now a haven for the rich who seek to escape the fallout from their oppressive economic activity… and in light of all that, a rocket launch pad is great news. It really reminds me of a recent meme I saw. A politician leans in to a sleeping homeless man and says … “wake up … I’ve got a tax break for you”.

The subject of Kiwisaver has certainly raised a lot of questions lately with regard to the investment of funds by our corporation. Likewise have been the questions around our PM’s ongoing alliance with the US war machine. Check this one out!
Hundreds of thousands of KiwiSaver members in government-appointed default schemes may be unknowingly investing in companies making cluster bombs and anti-personnel mines.

At least five of the nine default KiwiSaver providers invested in these types of companies, despite them being banned by government agencies such as the New Zealand Superannuation Fund and ACC.
The Green Party and Amnesty International say the government must review default providers that have investments in these weapons.
People who sign up to KiwiSaver but do not pick a scheme to enrol in are automatically allocated to one of nine providers hand-picked by the government.
These default providers are ANZ, Westpac, ASB, BNZ, Kiwibank, AMP, Mercer, Grosvenor and Fisher Funds.
More than 500,000 people are enrolled in default schemes, according to figures supplied by Inland Revenue.
An investigation by RNZ has found the default funds run by ANZ, Westpac, ASB, AMP and Grosvenor invested in the anti-personnel mine manufacturer Northrop Grumman and nuclear weapon or base operators Fluor Corp, Honeywell International and Lockheed Martin.
Westpac, ASB, BNZ, Grosvenor and AMP also invested in cluster bomb manufacturers General Dynamics and Textron.
The New Zealand Superannuation Fund and ACC are not allowed to invest in any of these companies because of the government’s obligations under international conventions banning the use of these weapons and investment in the companies that make them.
With the upcoming ‘celebrations’ around the 2016 NZ DIA (NZ Defense Industry Association) Forum being held in Auckland on 16 – 17 November in conjunction with the RNZN 75th Anniversary celebrations, Operation Neptune, I took a peek at their website. You can reserve your spot with cocktails and trimmings for just $10,000.
“The NZ DIA was formed in 1993, as an industry development initiative. Its major emphasis today is on networking, and encouraging the membership to work together on developing joint approaches to defence projects in NZ and overseas”
Right there in the DIA’s mission statement is the strategic use of the word ‘defence’. The corporate bankers have need of war, it’s an integral part of the Rothschild banking empire, however, in order to not be too obvious, they need to sanitize it with ‘nicer’ words. Profiteering from war is no conspiracy but documented fact. Cheney’s Halliburton made $39.5 billion on the Iraq war. My elderly father who fought in one of the World Wars and was fortunate enough to return alive, had worked out that fact later in life … that “wars would never end because wars make money”. His oldest brother, a machine gunner, so deeply affected, he wept whenever he talked about war. So, there on the DIA’s website is the standard tribute of poppies to these brave men who served as basically cannon fodder for the war machine, a machine peopled by those who never spent one minute in trenches and never experienced the terror of combat. Remember Mrs Rothschild’s infamous words… “if my sons did not want war there would be none”.
Returning to the planned forum for November this year, Key’s corporation parading as a government (NZ is a US SEC registered corporation) put out a White Paper that was compiled we are told from the public’s and the academic community’s views, involving over 300 written submissions and meetings around the country. (See White Paper info here also).
I don’t particularly recall the road show, perhaps other readers do. Note the Ministry of Defence administers the Defence Act 1990, the era shortly after our nation became corporatized … courtesy of Rogernomics. Corporations are about profits. We are told in the White Paper that “… terrorism remains an enduring global problem”. Those who do their own research will know that the so called war on terror has been effectively drummed up since the very dodgy 9/11 attack that looked extremely like a controlled demolition. And the current threat to security, ISIS, has equally dodgy origins (watch Truth Media: the Origin of ISIS for more info on that).
The war industry is ticking along quite nicely in Aotearoa with banker Key at the helm, and synchronising equally as nicely with his growing partnership with the US. “The Government” [corporation] says Key, “has provided the Defence Force with a degree of funding certainty [$20 billion] that enables it to plan with confidence out to 2030 and beyond.” [Agenda 2030, see also Agenda 21/2030 in NZ] Download the White Paper and see what Key and Brownlee are spending your $20 billion on. Remember how ‘well’ they’ve managed the Christchurch disaster that they refer to in there. It’s an integral part of defence.
What I find particularly distasteful about this whole affair is the spin. One of my favourite investigative journalists John Pilger, describes their convoluted rhetoric so well in his essay, ‘Arming the World’ (in his book “Hidden Agendas” p 115). Describing the weapons (defence) industry he says: “Refined absurdity is always close at hand in the arms business. It squeezes into bed with secrecy, corruption and stupendous greed”. Asking what a British cluster bomb does (gleaming under “soft backlight, like the latest showroom Jaguar”) he is told they need his request in writing for MOD approval as the information is ‘classified’, the reason for which is also ‘classified’. The cluster bomb, Pilger explains “is not really a bomb at all, but an ‘area denial sub-munition’, a land mine in all but name. It is dropped from the air and explodes into forty-seven little mines, which are shaped like spiders.
These are scattered over a wide area and ‘deny’ life to anything that moves or grows.’ They’ve been found says Pilger, in Bosnia and Croatia where between two and four million mines threaten to main and kill long after the war ends. These salesmen he says, have great difficulty saying words like ‘people’, ‘maim’ and ‘kill’. Describing a cluster bomb’s ‘effectiveness’ he cites the little girl who in a Vietnam village lost her family …‘my mother and father were lying there covered in blood, and my sister … had pieces of metal in her, and so did her doll’.
The corporates know it is wrong, trading in weapons (they’re not averse to supplying both sides), this is why they have difficulty with these words. There is enough of old fashioned conscience there for them to need to cover their wording well, however not enough to stop the killing by curtailing their obscene greed. They are therefore very adept at reframing and repackaging. And so the weapons trade becomes the defence trade. The DIA have produced a video for their site to explain with typical corporate expertise, their modus operandi. Watching it you can almost hear the cash registers ringing (except we’re nearly cashless) complete with the bling of coloured lights as the cutting of steel flashes amidst the wording ‘Defence Industry Association’.

Your PM Key continues to tax himself and friends at 2.8%, continues to profit from your country’s indebtedness and the so called global war on terrorism, and is intent on the TPPA agreement which will give both he and his corporate friends even more control. Let’s face it, he is likely not too interested in changing any of the current status quo.

Our attention was recently drawn to the announcement by Prime Minister Key’s American friends (those friends whose bank he has shares in & has us heavily indebted to) of their contemplating a compulsory draft of their women to the war machine. Most of us are aware I’m sure of Key’s allegiance to the stars and stripes, but does his allegiance have any bounds I wonder?
Stepping back a little, I’ve noticed lately a few changes happening in Aotearoa that have been overshadowed somewhat by the current housing crisis. A convenient diversion. With thousands of Kiwis homeless, 33,000 homes purchased by offshore speculators sitting empty in Auckland, and thousands of state homes being flicked off to real estate interests (and whatever happened to the sales to other social housing providers?) the government/corporation is now offering $5000 to beleaguered families to migrate to the provinces! Quite a bit of social engineering going on here by all appearances … and Key says they’re going to fix the problem with his new $1 billion initiative. Some predictable lollipops with election year approaching.
He has also recently announced however, that he is set to spend an incredible $20 billion on our defence force capability. One billion on the housing crisis and twenty times that on the military? Clearly, that is where Prime Minister Key’s priorities lie. Not at home with the homeless, rather, abroad fighting the enemies of the United States of America. That nation that has killed 20 million people in 37 nations since World War II.
As anybody who does their research knows, the well oiled US war machine is a corporate machine. (And the US of course is not the only country that profits from the arms trade. The British Royals (and here) are not averse to trading in blood money either). Major General Smedley Butler, a US authority on that topic… having served more than three decades in the military … wrote a book about the insights he gained therein. Wars are essentially bankers’ wars. Corporate wars.
We have all been well conditioned to believe these wars are for ‘King and Country’ … as our beloved forbears were, 70 odd million of whom died in the last World War … or, nowadays, wars against terrorism, the ones that started with the very dodgy 9/11 that looked extremely like a controlled demolition. These wars, as ever, are ostensibly about imposing ‘democracy’ on countries that didn’t request it, while really about siphoning off and profiting from their resources.

The war machine is an effective time-tested tool of certain wealthy families … the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers and their ilk. As Mrs Gutle Schnapper Rothschild said … “If my sons did not want war, there would be none”….and she should know her own sons I’m sure. She sounds obscenely proud of her offspring and their dubious ‘accomplishments’.

This country that prides itself on being a peaceful, peace making nation has never in fact gone a decade with out war, to the extent no President can be considered a peace time President. The only time the US has gone for five years without war was during the Great Depression … and we know that financial depressions have always been artificially created, by the very same people who are fomenting the wars. The United States of America has been engaged in some kind of war during 218 out of the nation’s total 239 years of existence, not including the war of annihilation, rape and pillage it waged on its indigenous population to acquire their lands and establish itself.
As one US armchair proponent has said quite infamously … “it [war] is worth it” (that being the killing of 500,000 innocent Iraqi children, the real victims of these hideous war games). Wars to warmongers are “worth it” because they make money … lots of it. Make no mistake, this is blood money. Nobody of course highlights this point when rolling out the rationale for increased military spending.

That great nation has indeed taken armchair warfare to a whole new level in the form of drone warfare. In fighting that eternal war on terror, from the comfort of an armchair, one operator can wipe out whole families of suspected terrorists with the push of a button, just like they do in war games online. No trenches required.

Now, what I’ve noticed looking beyond the housing conundrum and the age-old fomenters of war who are now publicly espousing their New World Order, is that our once clean green, GE and nuclear free paradise (not) has been undergoing some changes in her stance about war … courtesy of John Key.
Late last year NZ hosted a weapons conference (and here) in our capital, Wellington, amidst largely ignored protests. Where once we had a nuclear free stance that prevented nuclear warships from visiting our harbours, the Daily Blog reported in April this year that “In November [courtesy of John Key]… an American warship will be entering Auckland Harbour for the first time in 32 years for the 75th anniversary of the NZ Navy.” Clearly there’s no apology about that.
Now Kiwis with their ears to the ground have noticed the change in drills the military have been having in recent years. We have a mingling of the military with the public, carrying arms and playing out scenarios where the public are included. Operation Katipo in 2013 was one of those, with forces from the United States, Australia, Britain, Canada, France, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Singapore and Tonga.
“The operation cements the complete restoration of New Zealand’s military alliance with the US as part of the Obama administration’s strategic “pivot” or “rebalancing” to the Indo-Pacific to encircle China, which the US views as a threat to its dominance in the region. Smaller exercises were held with the US last year, marking the first time American troops had trained in NZ since a partial rift during the 1980s over Wellington’s anti-nuclear policy.”
“Operation Southern Katipo is further evidence that New Zealand’s ruling elite is dragging the country into Washington’s preparations for war—without any democratic discussion and behind the backs of the population. Despite the exercise’s scale, it has received little coverage in the media.”
In April this year (2016) Herald reported the opening of a new top class SAS training facility in Auckland. Key said the upgrade was needed because:
“… we now live in a world where there is some risk to New Zealand. He said despite that risk being much lower than in other environments, the Government could not rule it out when the likes of Isis are using social media to target people, “even as far away as New Zealand. Mr Key said in the event that New Zealand was subject to a domestic terror threat, the SAS would be used if necessary”.
So, watch this space people. A little scratch below the surface reveals that Key is more intent on war than peace, on currying the favour of his favourite nation and by all appearances on feathering his own already well lined nest, than he is on working for New Zealand as he claimed pre election. Why else does a leader tax his own wealthy friends 2.8% and the average workers 28%?

Those of us who remember our loved ones who either died in war, or who returned, ever to live with the horrific memories of war, we do so from deep respect. We are not glorifying war. These men and women were of a very unique breed. They went in love, desiring to defend their loved ones, us, and their beloved countries. They never wanted war, they were caught up in events against which they had very little, if any, ability to influence. My uncle was so deeply affected by war he would weep when he remembered it. These men on return had no counselors to hear their trauma, they just got on with life and raising families, and buried their grief. They bore a great cost.
Although every ANZAC we honour these our forbears, we also now know that these loved ones who truly did sacrifice their lives, were pawns in a much larger scheme of events. My father, who went off to WW II with his four brothers at the tender age of 17, said in his latter years that wars would never end because ‘wars make money’. Because our true histories are little known and because the media provides us with a very narrow slanted view, then it’s not widely known that the so-called mother country, Great Britain and the royal family deal in the arms trade. Yes they actually profit from wars. Major General Smedley Butler in his famous lecture: ‘War is a Racket’ clearly outlines whom war serves – the corporations. In the age old rationale of ‘defending democracy’ – the military are really defending the mother country’s rights to plunder resources. Hear his speech here.
So, as always, we need to follow the familiar money trail.
It’s little known that some of our own Maori soldiers returned from those World Wars to find their ancestral lands confiscated by the very government they fought for.
Those who read beyond those official histories we all heard in school (who know that ‘Maori Wars’ and ‘Indian Wars’ were actually ‘Land Wars’) will also be aware of the role of the Rothschild family in fomenting and profiteering from wars for hundreds of years, boasting even of funding both sides. Our loved ones were simply pawns.
Nevertheless, again, we honour the fact that our loved ones went honourably and served their beloved countries and peoples. If you want to get angry at the so called ‘celebration’ of war, please direct this not at our commemorations, but at these other people, the profiteers, who have blood on their hands. Blood that one day, they will have to answer for.
When your children are old enough, teach them the true histories, tell them how it really was and still is. We want wars to stop, but the truth needs to be told about the origins of those wars. You will have to uncover those histories for yourselves because mainstream media is not about to. They guard this dirty little secret well.

Shamelessly too in terms of who they expunge from the planet be they innocent children or whomever. As Madeleine Albright said in her infamous statement ‘it is worth it’ – worth it to kill and maim 500,000 innocent Iraqi kids. We have here the outright admission though (for those who are too blind to have seen all previous pointers to this) that they actually profit from economic recession. That they in fact desire recession. They desire wars. Now how warped and twisted is that? To want to unleash poverty and death upon one’s fellow human beings? Particularly upon children. Note, they were not doing so well in 2006 and 7 says Lagarde, that was put right for them, or perhaps by them, with the 2008 recession.

When we wrote earlier that based on a leaked Wikileaks transcript, which the Greek government interpreted “as revealing an IMF effort to blackmail Athens with a possible credit event to force it to give in on pension cuts which it has rejected“, the article promptly went viral. While it remains to be determined if the IMF indeed made such an implied threat, we attribute this spike in interest to the general public’s surprise that the IMF could stoop to such a low, even by its own standards, level as to use a nation of 11 million people as a lab rat on which to conduct policy experiments.
But why the surprise?
As the below transcript from a April 2012 interview given by Lagarde to the Wharton school …, none other than IMF president Lagarde herself admitted that for the IMF to “thrive”, the world has to “goes downhill“, and that the IMF “to be sustainable” it needs to be “very in touch with our client base.”
She added that “when the world goes well and we’ve had years of growth, as was the case back in 2006 and 2007, the IMF doesn’t do so well both financially and otherwise”
It goes without saying that Lagarde’s sole prerogative as the managing director of the IMF is to make sure it “does well.”
She concluded by saying that “we need to be able to invent and reinvent ourselves in many ways.” One such client-facing “reinvention” just happened to be caught on tape.

“Smedley Darlington Butler (July 30, 1881 – June 21, 1940) was a United
States Marine Corps major general, the highest rank authorized at that time, and at the time of his death the most decorated Marine in U.S. history.
During his 34-year career as a Marine, he participated in military actions in the Philippines, China, in Central America and the Caribbean during the Banana Wars, and France in World War I. Butler is well known for having later become an outspoken critic of U.S. wars and their consequences, as well as exposing the Business Plot, an alleged plan to overthrow the U.S. government.
By the end of his career, Butler had received 16 medals, five for heroism. He is one of 19 men to receive the Medal of Honor twice, one of three to be awarded both the Marine Corps Brevet Medal and the Medal of Honor, and the only Marine to be awarded the Brevet Medal and two Medals of Honor, all for separate actions.
In 1933, he became involved in a controversy known as the Business Plot, when he told a congressional committee that a group of wealthy industrialists were planning a military coup to overthrow Franklin D. Roosevelt, with Butler selected to lead a march of veterans to become dictator, similar to other Fascist regimes at that time. The individuals involved all denied the existence of a plot and the media ridiculed the allegations. A final report by a special House of Representatives Committee confirmed some of Butler’s testimony.
In 1935, Butler wrote a book entitled War Is a Racket, where he described and criticized the workings of the United States in its foreign actions and wars, such as those he was a part of, including the American corporations and other imperialist motivations behind them. After retiring from service, he became a popular activist, speaking at meetings organized by veterans, pacifists, and church groups in the 1930s.

Interesting timing with Operation katipo underway in the South Island. Do we really need to be promoting war? What of peace. Our nuclear free stance? Is it all just rhetoric by a country that’s hell bent on serving the corporations? Witness Key’s determination to rope us into the TPPA.
Between November 17 and 18, Wellington will host 200 of the world’s largest weapons manufacturers at the Defence Industry Association Annual Forum. Despite the PR spin, this 2 day event, more appropriately called a weapons conference, promises to be a bonanza for companies who are in the business of selling products that are designed to kill, maim and destroy.
As one of several New Zealand cities that are members of the ‘Mayors for Peace’ global initiative, Wellington should not be hosting this event – particularly when this year’s principal sponsor is Lockheed Martin. This US-based company is a major manufacturer of nuclear weapons and delivery systems for the US and the UK.
