Mainstream Media Is Avoiding the Big Story on Jeffrey Epstein and Sealed Court Documents

Over the past week, more than a dozen of the biggest mainstream news outlets have published articles about the possibility of scandalous news breaking this week from the unsealing of documents in a federal court case involving the sex trafficker of minors, Jeffrey Epstein.
Typically, responsible news outlets wait for the actual news to break before hyping the possibility of it breaking. At 5:59 a.m. this morning, Newsweek updated the story as follows:
“Some on social media are speculating that the public disclosure of more than 150 names associated with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been delayed.

UK government funds and employs a “charity” which aims to disrupt and defund “disinformation” media outlets, globally
On Tuesday, Big Brother Watch released documents that showed how the UK military supported Whitehall officials in monitoring the British public via the “Ministry of Truth.”
As well as the British Army’s 77th Brigade, the newly released documents show Royal Air Force (“RAF”) intelligence officers were also employed to spy on British citizens.
The documents show that at the same time, the UK government employed external contractors; one of which is the British not-for-profit Global Disinformation Index which has the goal of disrupting and defunding “disinformation sites.”
In January, Big Brother Watch released a report detailing secretive Whitehall units monitoring government critics’ speech online – including Members of Parliament, academics, journalists, human rights campaigners and the public – under the guise of combatting “misinformation.” The title of the report was ‘Ministry of Truth: the secretive government units spying on your speech’.
The ‘Ministry of Truth’ report also exposed the Government’s use of the British Army to scan their own citizens’ speech online, with exclusive testimony from a whistle-blower who worked in the “secretive information warfare machine”, the 77th Brigade.

The documents released on Tuesday consist of emails and daily “Mis/Disinformation” reports produced by the 77th Brigade for the Cabinet Office. They show soldiers tracking narratives from Members of the UK Parliament and the corporate press. Big Brother Watch has requested months’ worth of these documents but “only a handful appear to have survived,” they said.
Other documents released on Tuesday consist of requests for military assistance from the Counter Disinformation Unit (“CDU”). These requests are called Military Aid to Civilian Authority (“MACA”) requests. At the time, the CDU was part of the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.
According to the UK government website, the CDU was first set up in 2019 within the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (“DCMS”). However, according to The Constitution Unit, based in the University College London Department of Political Science, the CDU was set up in March 2020.
In July 2019, the Defending Democracy programme was announced as a cross-Whitehall initiative bringing together civil society, intelligence and government departments. The programme covers electoral integrity and related online transparency issues. As part of this programme, The Constitution Unit wrote, the Counter Disinformation Cell (“CDC”) or Counter Disinformation Unit (“CDU”) was set up in March 2020 to deal with coronavirus-related “false narratives.”
The CDU is one of a four-pronged government strategy for tackling covid “misinformation.” The other three prongs are the Rapid Response Unit in the Cabinet Office, established in 2018; pursuing a massive public information campaign together with the NHS; and, promoting digital literacy skills, publicising its SHARE checklist.
From February 2023, the unit sits with the new Department for Science, Innovation and Technology. According to the UK government’s website: “The team works with partners across government, civil society and in tandem with the regulatory approach through the Online Safety Bill and DSIT’s Media Literacy Strategy.”
The UK government states that CDU’s purpose is to understand disinformation narratives and attempts to artificially manipulate the information environment, “to promote the facts.” CDU also works with social media companies to “encourage them to promote authoritative sources of information and consistently enforce their terms of service.”
Big Brother Watch has received copies of four MACAs from CDU to the UK military covering the period 5 July 2020 to 28 February 2021. Before that, on 23 March 2020, defence analysts joined the CDC or CDU wider structure as part of a wider MACA tasking which attached them to the Cabinet Office’s Rapid Response Unit. This team provided mis/disinformation analytical capability during the first three months of the “covid crisis.” This initial agreement with the Cabinet Office ended on 5 July 2020.
From the first MACA request, for the period 15 July to 31 August 2020, the first sentence completed on the form stated that the CDU sought “military support to the DCMS Counter-Disinformation Cell (CDC), to ensure [Her/His Majesty’s Government] HMG coverage of the mis/disinformation threat and information environment, as further incidences of disinformation is anticipated in relation to key events, including the launch of a vaccine.” Signed by the Ministry of Defence on 15 July 2020, this was almost five months before a covid “vaccine” was launched.
The DCMS re-emphasised the anti-vaccination “threat” again later in the July 2020 MACA: “Despite Covid-19 crisis response standing down in some areas, the CDC continues to identify harmful misinformation and disinformation narratives. This is a live threat, and the CDC’s assessment of future trends such as potential for anti-vaccination narratives, shows that there is a need to fill a capability gap.”
The MACAs state that the Ministry of Defence provided 77th Brigade analysts from 5 July to 3 August 2020, and RAF analysts from 3 August to 31 August 2020.

The MACAs, from the first to the last, also state that external contractors have already been employed and will continue to provide additional skills. “DCMS has contracts with GDI, who monitor and assess disinformation narratives on fringe platforms, and Digitalis, who work with search trends data,” the MACAs state.
Global Disinformation Index
GDI stands for Global Disinformation Index, a UK not-for-profit organisation which rates media sites based on the risk of the outlet carrying disinformation. It is number 37 on the list of the top 50 organisations in the global Censorship Industrial Complex.
Using both artificial intelligence and human review, GDI claims to “provide a neutral and transparent way of assessing the disinformation risk for a specific media outlet.”
GDI was co-founded by Clare Melford and Daniel Rogers in 2018. Melford was formerly CEO of the International Business Leaders Forum, managing director of MTV Networks, and led the European Council on Foreign Relations during its break away from the Open Society Foundations. Rogers founded and led Terbium Labs, a US intelligence community contractor, works as an adjunct Professor at New York University’s Centre for Global Affairs, and is a senior fellow at the left-leaning Truman National Security Project.
With a virtual team of 15 people, GDI’s goal is to “disrupt, defund and down-rank disinformation sites.” As always, we must ask who defines what constitutes “disinformation.” To answer that question, establishing who funds GDI is a good place to start.
Information about the GDI’s funding is not readily accessible despite it having ‘transparency’ as one of its three core values, but it does at least name its funders on its website. GDI has 12 funders including George Soros’ Open Society Foundations, the European Union, the Foreign Ministry of Germany, the Knight Foundation and the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (“FCDO”).
“No single funder accounts for more than one third of GDI’s total income,” its website states. This implies that it is likely at least one funder contributes about a third of its funding.
In February 2023, Philip Davies, Member of Parliament for Shipley, submitted a written question asking how much funding the FCDO had given GDI over the previous three years.
Leo Docherty, Under Secretary of State at FCDO replied: “The FCDO Counter Disinformation and Media Development Programme has funded the Global Disinformation Index since 2019, for activities outside the US, providing £1,999,026 between 2019 and 2022, with a further £600,797 during the current financial year.”
David McGrogan who authored an article about GDI which was published by Brownstone Institute, submitted a Freedom of Information Act request and ascertained that FCDO gave GDI £400,000 during the financial year 2018-2019.
A quick search on GDI’s website for reports relating to UK media returned no results however McGrogan found a report dated August 2021 titled ‘Popular UK Brands Appearing Next To Misogynistic Narratives’.
McGrogan wrote: “My favourite example, from this ‘report’ – I use the term loosely – is an article on Spiked! titled ‘Why aren’t we celebrating female athletes’ actual achievements?’ next to an ad for the UK-based chain of opticians, Specsavers. This is apparently evidence of a ‘misogynistic narrative’ which Specsavers should not be indirectly funding.”
British magazine Spiked! is generally agreed to be libertarian. According to Wikipedia, most specialist academic sources identify it as right-libertarian but some non-specialist sources identify it as left-libertarian. Wikipedia lists the Knight Foundation as one of Spiked’s funders. After being flagged as carrying a “misogynistic narrative,” perhaps it no longer funds Spiked, especially as the Knight Foundation is also listed as one of GDI’s funders.
GDI has two affiliated US non-profit groups sharing similar board members: Disinformation Index and An Foundation, both based in Texas. A Washington Examiner investigation found that advertising crushing revenue sentinels such as GDI are crippling conservative media in the United States as “riskiest” and “worst” offenders for peddling disinformation, and likely placing them on a “dynamic exclusion list” while all of the websites that GDI ranks as the “least risky” lean to the political left in their news coverage.
GDI’s secretive “dynamic exclusion list” shows at least 2,000 websites. This list has “had a significant impact on the advertising revenue that has gone to those sites,” Melford said during a March 2022 podcast.
This exclusion list is developed with oversight from GDI’s “advisory panel,” which counts journalists, professors, and data scientists, according to GDI reports. One of the advisors is Ben Nimmo, global lead for threat intelligence at Facebook’s parent company Meta.
Mike Benz, who was formerly the State Department’s deputy assistant for internal communications and information policy and is currently executive director of Foundation for Freedom Online, a censorship watchdog, told the Washington Examiner that the “whole point” of the “disinformation” tracking industry is clearly to destroy “the reach, scalability, market, and even credibility” of conservative news outlets.
Self-styled disinformation trackers such as GDI are, essentially, censorship by stealth because they cripple the potential of alternative news sources to compete on an even economic playing field with media outlets that disseminate the approved narrative.

The United Nations has been quietly granted full regulatory control over the Internet, allowing the unelected organization to censor or punish anybody who threatens to disrupt the globalist agenda.
While citing the need for “multi-stakeholder” regulation of the Internet, UNECSO’s 59-page bill is titled Guidelines for the Governance of Digital Platforms. This is Orwellian Double-Think at its worst, promoting free speech that is anti-free speech. The “major threat to stability and social cohesion” is all about their stability and the social cohesion they want to force on the world. Online disinformation : UNESCO unveils action plan to regulate social media platforms
Audrey Azoulay, Director-General of UNESCO sounded the alarm on Monday about the intensification of disinformation and hate speech online, which constitutes “a major threat to stability and social cohesion”. To put an end to this scourge she unveiled UNESCO’s action plan, the result of extensive worldwide consultations and is backed by a global opinion survey underlining the urgent need for action.
UNESCO’s action plan is the result of a consultation process on a scale unprecedented within the United Nations system, with over 10,000 contributions from 134 countries collected over the last eighteen months. Over forty pages, it outlines the principles which must be respected as well as the concrete measures which must be implemented by all stakeholders: governments, regulatory authorities, civil society and the platforms themselves.
Representatives from independent regulators have already welcomed UNESCO’s initiative, and several of them – notably in Africa and Latin America – have indicated that they are ready to begin implementing these measures. To this end, UNESCO will organize the first World Conference of Regulators in mid-2024.
The Organization will also support its Member States in transposing this action plan into their own laws and regulations. To this end, UNESCO is mobilising dedicated funding, including 1 million Euros already pledged by the European Commission.
7 fundamental principles to be respected
UNESCO’s measures are organised around 7 principles which must be respected so that:
- The impact on human rights becomes the compass for all decision-making, at every stage and by every stakeholder.
- Independent, public regulators are set up everywhere in the world, with clearly defined roles and sufficient resources to carry out their mission.
- These independent regulators work in close coordination as part of a wider network, to prevent digital companies from taking advantage of disparities between national regulations.
- Content moderation is feasible and effective at scale, in all regions and in all languages.
- Accountability and transparency are established in these platforms’ algorithms, which are too often geared towards maximizing engagement at the cost of reliable information.
- Platforms take more initiative to educate and train users to think critically.
- Regulators and platforms take stronger measures during particularly sensitive moments like elections and crises.
Freedom of expression must be protected
“Our work has been guided by one central requirement: the protection at all times of freedom of expression and all other human rights. Restricting or limiting speech would be a terrible solution. Having media outlets and information tools that are independent, qualitative and free, is best long-term response to disinformation”, the Director-General underscored.
In particular, platforms must have teams of qualified moderators, in sufficient numbers and speaking all the main languages of their social media, so that they can carry out reliable and effective control of content that is posted online. They must ensure the transparency of the moderation process, including when it is automated through algorithms. They must also facilitate their use, in all the main languages of the country in which they operate, and report on complaints from users.
Sections of this strategy are also dedicated to the measures needed to guarantee electoral integrity – notably through electoral risk assessments, clear content-flagging and greater transparency of political advertising and its targeting – and to respond to emergency situations, such as armed conflicts and disasters.
Elements specific to the cultural sector have also been included, highlighting the risks faced by artists and the need for online access to “diverse cultural content” as a fundamental human right to be safeguarded – with reference to the Declaration unanimously adopted by UNESCO Member States at the MONDIACULT Conference in September 2022.
Global survey confirms the urgent need for action
The publication of UNESCO’s action plan is accompanied by an opinion poll conducted by IPSOS for UNESCO, with over 8,000 respondents across 16 countries where elections will be held in 2024. It shows that 85% of citizens are worried about the impact of online disinformation, at a time when social media platforms have become the primary source of information for a large majority of them.
The same survey indicates that 87% of citizens believe that this misinformation has already had a major impact on their country’s political life and fear that it will influence the results of their country’s elections in the next year. As a result, 88% are calling on governments and regulators to resolve this problem quickly by regulating social media.

Online Censorship Escalates: Governments and Tech Collaborate

Governments and tech giants enact censorship through laws like Canada’s Online News Act, prompting Meta and Google to ban news content. The bill has been in the works for the last five years, again proving that online censorship is not something that sprang up in response to COVID.

If you think freedom of speech has gone down the tubes, you haven’t seen the half of it yet. September 19, 2023, the U.K. passed a new law to “regulate” (read, censor) online content. The so-called Online Safety Bill has been described as “one of the most far-reaching attempts by Western democracy to regulate online speech.”1
Interestingly, the bill has been in the works for the last five years,2 again proving that online censorship is not something that sprang up in response to COVID. Governments have been steadily moving in this direction for a long time.
As reported by The New York Times,3 the bill forces online platforms to “proactively screen for objectionable material and to judge whether it is illegal, rather than requiring them to act only after being alerted to illicit content.”
Outsourcing Censorship
Of course, we now know that flagging material for removal is how the U.S. government has illegally circumvented constitutional free speech rights for the past few years.
September 8, 2023, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld part of the lower court’s injunction, banning the White House, surgeon general, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the FBI from influencing social media companies to remove “disinformation.”4
Unfortunately, the appellate court also reversed, vacated and modified other parts of the original injunction,5 leaving the door wide open for certain federal agencies to continue their censorship activities.
Importantly, officials from the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) were excluded,6 even though CISA has played a major, if not central, role in the government’s censorship of Americans.
CISA partnered with the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP), later renamed the Virality Project,7 and in an Atlantic Council interview, EIP head Alex Stamos openly admitted that the partnership was set up to outsource censorship that the government could not do due to “lack of legal authorization.”8
Chances are, other Western countries have been using similar kinds of censorship schemes up to this point. Now, however, the U.K. and EU have enshrined censorship in law, requiring companies to do their dirty work.
This is because, of course, someone will have to decide what kind of information is “legal” and what’s not, and that decision is most likely going to come either from the government, or some unelected deep state organization like the World Health Organization.
If a similar law makes its way to the U.S., it would effectively constitute an end run around the Constitution, because the Constitution does not allow the government to outsource freedom of speech restrictions, which is basically what the Online Safety Bill does.
New Law Assumes Precognitive Abilities
Lorna Woods, a professor of internet law at the University of Essex, who helped draft the law, told The New York Times:9
“At its heart, the bill contains a simple idea: that providers should consider the foreseeable risks to which their services give rise and seek to mitigate — like many other industries already do.”
One wonders whether she’s talking about the endless warnings companies place on their products, like “Warning: Coffee may be hot!” or “Do not hold the wrong end of a chainsaw,” “Do not operate while sleeping,” or “Do not drive with sunshield in place.”10 But can anyone truly foresee the risks of sharing information?
Sure, those who champion the bill highlight the risks of sharing pornography and information that might promote suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. That kind of information must either be restricted, using age-verification and other measures, or eliminated.
Few ought to have qualms about that, but we can be sure that that’s not the primary aim of this bill. Ultimately, it will be used to stifle or ban information that is inconvenient to those in power. “Vaccine misinformation,” for example, will be barred under the new bill, along with any other material that may be “harmful to health.”11

Considering the WHO is owned by its funders, with Bill Gates topping that list, we can be assured that things like holistic health and accurate dietary information will end up on the chopping block, as it already has.
Incidentally, many argue that “anti-vaxxers” must be censored lest they profit from their misinformation, but recent research12 actually found that “Contrary to expectations, websites promoted in pro-vaccine venues do more to monetize attention than those promoted in anti-vaccine venues.” In other words, pro-vaccine sources are profiting from their information sharing to a far greater degree than those sharing information that is derogatory.

Judicial Processes Are Out the Window
We’ve also seen how the bill is already being used to silence specific individuals, such as Russell Brand, who is being accused of sexual improprieties and other abuses by four women he allegedly accosted between 2006 and 2013. Curiously, these accusations only arose after he started supporting Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign and warning about the global coup underway.
In September 2023, Dame Caroline Dinenage, chairwoman of the British Commons’ Culture, Media and Sport Select Committee — whose husband was commander in the British Army’s psy-ops division13 — wrote a letter14 to Rumble asking them to demonetize Brand’s channel.15
By then, he’d already been demonetized by YouTube, based on the sexual abuse allegations levied against him.16 YouTube reportedly justified their action saying Brand had violated its “creator responsibility policy.”
As noted by The Gray Zone,17 “This marks the first time a content creator has been financially punished by the company for reasons other than the videos published on the site.” A spokesperson for YouTube confirmed that the platform will now “take action” “if a creator’s off-platform behavior harms our users, employees or ecosystem.”
Rumble’s chief executive Chris Pavlovski refused to demonetize Brand, stating, “We regard it as deeply inappropriate and dangerous that the U.K. parliament would attempt to control who is allowed to speak on our platform or to earn a living.”18
That refusal may ultimately lead to Rumble being banned in the U.K. under the new law. It’s even been suggested that Rumble executives may be at risk of being arrested should they visit the U.K.19 Brand, for his part, has accused the British government of “bypassing judicial process.” Speaking in a live stream, Brand said:
“You know I’ve been demonetized on YouTube. You are aware that the government wrote to social media platforms to demand that I be further censored.
In a sense, the bypassing of judicial process, right to punitive measures, financial ones, seems like an interesting stance for a government minister to be suggesting to a big tech platform.
What we appear to be looking at here are a set of collaborating institutions that have an agenda, and pursue that agenda, even when in pursuing it they have to bypass, obstruct, or absolutely ignore existing judicial or regulatory bodies by moving straight to punitive measures.”
It doesn’t matter how you feel about Brand, or whether you believe the accusations against him. The danger inherent in these punitive measures should be self-evident to everyone.
Anyone can falsely accuse you of something and effectively destroy your ability to make a living if government and/or tech companies have the ability to act as judge and jury. Is that really the kind of society we want?
Many Companies Will Not Be Able to Comply
It’s quite clear that many companies will not be able to comply with the new law. The Wikimedia Foundation, for example, which operates Wikipedia, has already said it’ll be unable to do so, and may be blocked in the U.K. as a result.
This isn’t a great loss, per se, considering Wikipedia is an information warfare tool, but countless other information brokers will likely find that they are unable to predict the “foreseeable risks” of the information shared on their platform.
Compliance failures can cost companies up to $22.3 million, or up to 10% of global revenue, whichever is higher. Company executives can also be held criminally liable if they fail to comply with investigative efforts and/or fail to comply with rules related to child safety and the sexual exploitation of children.
Considering the liabilities, those who decide to abide by the new law will likely follow the rule of “better safe than sorry” and use their censorship powers with an excessively heavy hand.
In the end, what we may be left with is state-sponsored propaganda and videos of puppies and kittens. Everything else will be too risky to keep on the platform, because who knows what information might become inconvenient next?
EU Requires Platforms to Police Speech Too
The new U.K. law is not alone in requiring censorship. The European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA) also recently took effect, and it too requires online companies to actively police their platforms. As reported by The Verge:20
“Starting on August 25th, 2023, tech giants like Google, Facebook, Amazon, and more must comply with sweeping legislation that holds online platforms legally accountable for the content posted to them …
Under the new rules, online platforms must implement ways to prevent and remove posts containing illegal goods, services, or content while simultaneously giving users the means to report this type of content.”
On the upside, the DSA also bans targeted advertising and restricts ads targeting children. It also requires platforms to be more transparent about how their algorithms work, and requires “very large” platforms — any online company with more than 45 million monthly EU users — to allow users to opt out of profiling and personalization engines.
This includes Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Shapchat, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Bing and several others.21
On the other hand, the law also requires very large platforms to share data with researchers and authorities, and to cooperate with “crisis response requirements.” The Digital Services Coordinator and the EU Commission will also have the power to “require immediate actions where necessary to address very serious harms.”
Compliance failures can cost a company up to 6% of their global revenue, and repeated refusal to comply with rules or requests for action can result in suspension of the platform within the EU.
Canada Announces New Rules for Streaming Services
Canada is also upping the ante. September 29, 2023, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) announced all “online streaming services that offer podcasts” must now register and conform to regulatory controls. As reported in an official press release:22
“Today, the CRTC is advancing its regulatory plan to modernize Canada’s broadcasting framework and ensure online streaming services make meaningful contributions to Canadian and Indigenous content …
First, the CRTC is setting out which online streaming services need to provide information about their activities in Canada.
Online streaming services that operate in Canada, offer broadcasting content, and earn $10 million or more in annual revenues will need to complete a registration form by November 28, 2023 …
Second, the CRTC is setting conditions for online streaming services to operate in Canada. These conditions take effect today and require certain online streaming services to provide the CRTC with information related to their content and subscribership.
The decision also requires those services to make content available in a way that is not tied to a specific mobile or Internet service. A third consultation is ongoing. It considers contributions traditional broadcasters and online streaming services will need to make to support Canadian and Indigenous content.”
Large-Enough Content Providers Must Register as Well
Initially, the CRTC promised that content providers who simply upload their podcasts to available broadcasting services would not be impacted, but that turned out to be another bait-and-switch. What’s more, the CRTC conveniently didn’t mention this detail in its press release. For those details, you have to read through the actual regulatory policy.23 As reported by independent journalist Michael Shellenberger, October 2, 2023:24
“For months, representatives of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government insisted that their plans to regulate Big Tech social media platforms wouldn’t impact independent news outlets or podcasters … But it turns out that the government is, in fact, going to regulate content providers, not just Big Tech social media platforms.
The government regulator, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), announced on Friday that it would require registration by independent content producers, including online news companies and ‘individuals that host podcasts on their own websites.’
The CRTC says that the law only covers media companies with $10 million or more per year in revenue and that the information it is demanding is minimal … But, notes Canadian legal analyst Michael Geist, ‘The takeaway from the decision is obvious: registration is the first step toward regulation … In fact, the rationale for the CRTC to include many of the services is that without such information, it is not well positioned to regulate.’
The Liberal Party plainly misled the public into thinking that platforms would only be regulated, not content providers. There are many independent media companies with over $10 million annually in revenue that will be forced to register.”
Canada’s Online News Act
Earlier this year, Canada also rolled out its new Online News Act,25 which requires “dominant platforms” to “compensate news businesses when their content is made available on their services.” As a result, Facebook and Instagram ended up eliminating Canadians’ ability to view any news on its platform, regardless of where the news originates from. As explained by Facebook, June 1, 2023:26
“In order to comply with the Online News Act, we have begun the process of ending news availability in Canada … News links and content posted by news publishers and broadcasters in Canada will no longer be viewable by people in Canada …
News publishers and broadcasters outside of Canada will continue to be able to post news links and content, however, that content will not be viewable by people in Canada … People in Canada will no longer be able to view or share news content on Facebook and Instagram, including news articles and audio-visual content posted by news outlets.”
Synchronized Censorship Push
What we’re seeing is a synchronized push for more radical censorship, upheld by law, and while it’s currently focused in the EU, Britain and Canada, we can be sure that it’s coming to the U.S. as well.
It would be here already were it not for our Constitution, which is slowing things down. Still, the noose is tightening with each passing day, as the U.S. government is working overtime to figure out how to circumvent the highest law of the land.
There are no easy answers to this problem. One basic suggestion, however, would be to withdraw support from censorship-based platforms like YouTube, and support free speech platforms like Rumble instead.

Censorship is ramping up at a rapid clip, and much of it is clearly directed by the U.S. federal government, despite a federal judge’s order prohibiting federal agencies and officials from communicating with social media companies about content moderation.1
In recent days, several news stories have highlighted governments’ and Big Tech’s intent to increase censorship. There’s even a rumor that Google will ban independent media from its search results altogether.2 I’ve not been able to confirm this, but considering everything else going on, would anyone really be surprised if it were true?
Google, Meta Ban News in Canada
For example, Canada has enacted a new law called the Online News Act that forces social media companies to compensate domestic news organizations for content shared on their platforms. While that may not sound like censorship, it has the same effect, as social media companies are now automatically removing all news links.3
To comply with the new law, Meta banned all news — both national and international news stories — from appearing in Facebook and Instagram feeds in Canada as of June 1, 2023.4
Google is also blocking all Canadian news from its search, news and discover products in Canada as of June 29, 2023.5 In other words, if you live in Canada, you cannot get any news whatsoever unless you subscribe or go to the news source in question directly.
X/Twitter Colludes With Anti-Defamation League to Censor
In other news, X (formerly Twitter) and the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) are working together to censor X users, according to citizen journalist Kyle Clifton (his X account is Kyle Undercover).6
In a series of five videos7 (which you can view here), ADL director of development Courtney Kravitz and the ADL community manager for Arizona, Sarah Kader, discuss a variety of tactics the ADL is using to suppress and censor online speech.
In video No. 1, Kravitz explains that outright bans are not ideal, as it forces people to seek out alternative platforms. Hence a “balance” must be struck between preventing them from “run[ning] to this dark place where they are just with like-minded people” and preventing them from “spewing hate and disinformation.”
It appears the ADL prefers tactics like shadow-banning instead, where the reach of an account or post is severely limited. “Everyone should have freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach,” Kravitz tells Kyle. Interestingly enough, Musk himself used that same line in the summer of 2022.8
In video No. 2, Kravitz admits the ADL has urged Elon Musk to not reverse the ban on certain users, and in video No. 3, Kader explains how the ADL is using novel artificial intelligence software to comb through podcasts and video-game streams for “extremist” keywords.
As noted by Life Site News,9 the admission that ADL is scouring the audio streams of online gamers “suggests ADL has … interest in combing through the online activities of private citizens not involved in political and social causes …” Is that really something the ADL should be doing?
In video No. 4, Kravitz admits the ADL has also been influencing crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe to deplatform certain users, telling them that “extremists” are using their payment processing services to “fund their evil stuff.”
And, in video No. 5, Kader explains how the Arizona ADL has set up a Law Enforcement Advisory Council to identify and address online “hate.” The Advisory Council is made up of “local police departments and other law enforcement agencies all around the state.” Some key questions here, of course, are: What is hateful speech, and who decides what words are considered hateful?
In recent years, we’ve seen how this “anti-hate” narrative has been used to justify the removal of people providing truthful information about COVID and the COVID jabs, for example. Somehow, medical information was deemed “hateful.”

X Censorship Squad Are Anything but Free-Speech Minded
While Musk has called himself a “free speech absolutist” and promised X would be a free speech platform, the people he’s hired are not freedom-loving free speech advocates. Quite the contrary.
X CEO Linda Yaccarino is the chairman of the World Economic Forum’s Taskforce on Future of Work. She’s also part of the WEF’s Media, Entertainment and Culture Industry Governors Steering Committee.
Yaccarino has publicly asserted that she has autonomy from Musk.10 A more important question is, does she have autonomy from the WEF, or is she using X to further the WEF’s agenda?
Either way, Yaccarino has stated that “lawful but awful” posts will be “deamplified,” read, shadow banned and demonetized.11 And, like Musk, she has stressed that the company policy is one of “freedom of speech, not reach” to protect “brand safety” for advertisers. And, indeed, under Yaccarino’s watch, big advertisers are once again returning to the platform.
X Is Gearing Up for Election Censorship
X is also actively recruiting applicants for various censorship positions,12 including an “Elections Team Lead,” which flies in the face of Musk’s statement that “Free speech is essential for a functioning democracy.”13
X censorship recruiter Aaron Rodericks is also working against Musk’s stated vision by promoting Kate Starbird,14 a former Twitter employee and chief architect of the 2020 election censorship campaign in which 100% of the top “repeat misinformation spreaders” were Conservatives.15
As noted in Michael Shellenberger’s testimony before the House Select Committee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government in March 2023:16
“Kate Starbird, who runs the University of Washington disinformation lab, has for years been funded primarily by U.S. government agencies to do social media narrative analytics of political groups, or insurgency movements, of interest or concern to U.S. military intelligence or diplomatic equities.
Starbird acknowledged that the censorship focus of CISA and EIP [Election Integrity Partnership] moved from ‘foreign, inauthentic’ social media users to ‘domestic, authentic’ social media users between 2016 to 2020.”
Starbird is also one of the 23 members of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, launched in December 1, 2021.17
European Union Tightens Censorship Nose
In related news, X has also rolled out a new feature that allows users to report posts that violate the European Union’s new law (the Digital Services Act or DSA) against expression of political dissent, pro-Russian propaganda and other “fake news.”18 The new EU law took effect August 25, 2023.19
The new EU Digital Services Act will force all major online platforms to censor medical information and election information.
Other online platforms required to meet DSA requirements for content moderation or risk heavy fines include Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Amazon, Booking, AliExpress, Google Shopping, Zalando, Apple, Google’s app stores, Google Maps, Wikipedia, Google Search and Bing.20 As reported by Politico:21
“These large platforms will have to stop displaying ads to users based on sensitive data like religion and political opinions. AI-generated content like manipulated videos and photos, known as deepfakes, will have to be labeled.
Companies will also have to conduct yearly assessments of the risks their platforms pose on a range of issues like public health, kids’ safety and freedom of expression. They will be required to lay out their measures for how they are tackling such risks.
‘These 19 very large online platforms and search engines will have to redesign completely their systems to ensure a high level of privacy, security and safety of minors with age verification and parental control tools,’ said [EU’s Internal Market Commissioner Thierry] Breton.
External firms will audit their plans. The enforcement team in the Commission will access their data and algorithms to check whether they are promoting a range of harmful content — for example, content endangering public health or during elections. Fines can go up to 6 percent of their global annual turnover and very serious cases of infringement could result in platforms facing temporary bans.”
The key words there are “content endangering public health” and “elections.” That tells you the EU will force all of these platforms to censor medical information and election information.
X Implementing New Identification Rules
X is also pushing us deeper into surveillance state tyranny by requiring XBlue subscribers to submit a selfie and a government-issued ID to verify their identity.22 X will store this personal information for 30 days and share it with an Israeli identification verification company called AU10TIX.
For now, non-blue users are not required to verify their identities, but I suspect it’s only a matter of time. Eventually, you’ll have to have a digital identity to use the internet at all, and every move you make online will be tracked as part of your social credit score. X is simply paving the way.
CCDH Feigns Innocence
In 2021, it became apparent that the U.S. government was basing many of its censorship decisions on information from an obscure U.K.-based group called the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH). Its “Disinformation Dozen” report,23 published March 24, 2021, has without question been one of the most widely cited “justifications” for censorship over these past two years.
The problem is that this report was itself an example of gross misinformation. The CCDH claimed 12 individuals were responsible for 73% of vaccine misinformation on social media, including Facebook, yet an investigation by Facebook revealed the so-called “disinformation dozen” were responsible for just 0.05% of all views of vaccine-related content on the platform.24
Yet, even after Facebook set the record straight, the federal government continued to cite the CCDH report as the reason for why they wanted the people listed in it censored by Big Tech.
Sen. Elizabeth Warren demanded that Amazon ban my book, “The Truth About COVID,” based on the CCDH’s false statements about me, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) even relied on it to identify “domestic threat actors,”25 meaning domestic terrorists.
Put simply, the DHS has tagged me as a domestic terrorist based on the fabrications of a shadowy intelligence-connected group that in a rational society would have no credibility whatsoever.
This is the intelligence community’s version of Nancy Pelosi’s “wrap-up smear” tactic,26 which is when a politician feeds false information to the media and then uses those media reports to support their false claims.
August 3, 2023, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, launched an investigation into the CCDH’s potential role in the Biden administration’s censorship regime.
The group was ordered to hand over records to the Judiciary Committee detailing its interactions with the U.S. government and the executive branch by August 17.27 As reported by The Washington Post that day:28
“On Thursday [August 17], the CCDH responded with a full-throated defense of its research and communications with government officials, dismissing Jordan’s allegations as ‘confusion about the organization’ in a letter.
Related documents, which were exclusively viewed by The Washington Post, show that the organization has worked with government officials from both parties …
Jordan also has released internal communications from Meta, which he has dubbed ‘the Facebook Files,’ citing the CCDH’s research. The emails … show that the White House discussed the CCDH’s coronavirus research with Facebook executives as it pressured the company to take a tougher line against vaccine falsehoods.
Nadgey Louis-Charles, a House Judiciary spokesperson, recently told The Post that these emails expose the ‘extent to which the Biden White House used the work of the CCDH to try to censor speech.’”
Free Speech Without Reach Is Not Freedom
The CCDH’s fabrications have been used by a long list of government actors and representatives, including members of Congress, state attorneys general and even President Biden himself, all of whom publicly called for retaliatory actions to be taken against us.
As a result, we’ve been censored on social media, delisted by Google Search, and demonetized on YouTube. We’ve been deplatformed and cut off from online payment processors, our websites have been cyberattacked and, in several cases, taken down completely — and we’ve been debanked, all for the “crime” of sharing Constitutionally-protected views and published science.
At the end of the day, the so-called “problem” of misinformation and disinformation is pure nonsense. In a free society, people debate issues and bring varying viewpoints to the table. “Misinformation” is a completely fabricated problem, made up by the very people who seek to control the public discourse for their own aims.
The technocratic cabal driving this global censorship movement know they must silence dissenting viewpoints because what they intend to impose on us is so heinous, if people understand what they’re doing, they’ll never be able to achieve their goals.
So, it’s not just “democracy” that hangs in the balance. Basic freedoms, human rights and life as we know it will be taken from us, and the only way to stop it is by waking people up to reality through information sharing. The very survival of humanity now depends on our ability to maintain free speech, which is why we must keep pushing back against all forms of censorship.

As a mere attentive reader, I’d say the CIA has been manipulating Wikipedia for even longer (maybe from the start?), since it was some fifteen years ago that I looked up Philip Agee’s entry, and found that it was nothing but a tissue of the propaganda smears that CIA pumped out in 1975 (and ever since), in fierce (covert) response to Agee’s indispensable Behind the Company: CIA Diary. (For those interested in that attack, and Agee’s many other punishments for authoring that book, I’d skip that Wikipedia entry, and, instead, read Agee’s memoir On the Run.)
So when Wikipedia “revised” the entry on myself, sometime in 2021 (I think it was), to make it even nastier and more deceptive, I was not surprised. While it had not been flattering from the start, it was now poisonously amplified with tidbits from the slanders that my department colleagues used to tried to get me fired from NYU, and that echoed and re-echoed in the media (including the Chronicle of Higher Education).

There’s certain alarm right now at the regime’s new proposals to shut folk up & stop them speaking their minds, let alone speaking uncomfortable truths. And today we hear of our ‘dearly departed Ardern’s’ new title (that apparently may or may not be accepted?).
Ardern is now in sunnier climes lecturing at Harvard on this her apparent favourite topic, censorship, her mission in NZ done and dusted she’s moved on, far from the clamour of the thousands of injured. The globalists always look after their own, witness the new title, and remember Sirs Douglas & Key also notorious for their treasonous exploits? As the good book says, you will know them by their fruits.
And so, the loyal carry on the agenda with further plans for shutting down truth, repackaged as ‘disinformation’. Watch next for the 15 minute cities. Aussie’s Coffs Harbour folk are pushing back on this one as more and more begin to wake up to the scam.
Remember the grapefruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.

The police were not giving MSM names of the two arrested this evening at Auckland Airport & so they came snooping on the CSM Telegram page to get their story content.
The best quote was:

Of course they had to reference our case & it’s unclear whether Stuff are on top of the story as they said we appeared in court in December but our last court appearance was on Monday, February 20.
We are surprised to see Stuff reporting assault charges were also laid at the airport against the pair. We are yet to confirm exactly by whom and against whom.

When it comes to searching for videos that may be banned elsewhere, Bitchute is the best platform, by far. Based out of the U.K., Bitchute has been our safest place to publish video content.

The censors have been busily deleting, blocking or shadow banning online articles in the ‘awful’ event you may be led astray by the ‘antis’. In NZ’s case, they cannot have you thinking for yourself when your nation has only one source of truth … woe betide anybody whose toe crosses that line.
So here we have: “A collection of hosts files and filter lists to make the world a better place”.
I happened across this list the other day actually quite by chance. On it are all three of my WP sites, this one that you are reading, plus here and here. They are classified as anti-V (you know that word) when in fact two of them have nothing whatsoever to do with Vs. Cast your eye down the very very long list and you will see the scope of forbidden topics in fact spreads far wider that the V. Another thing I’ve noticed are little bright red exclamation marks next to my site links … not safe to visit! The author does invite you to get in touch & make a case for not being on the ‘list’ … but as with most things nowadays, the onus of ‘proof’ is placed on the ‘recipient’ and not on the accuser, where it should be.
Recently when listening to Dr Mercola (another heavily censored MD) I heard him describing a very old article of his from two decades ago that he discovered is totally scrubbed from the internet. He could not find it anywhere. (No point in posting his links as he now takes his posts down after 48 hours & places them in a paid archive). Max Igan also who has his finger on the button, notes how article after article is being removed. I certainly have found that searching for material now in any search engine is pretty futile really. It’s clearly all geared to mainstream propaganda only. I would suggest when saving links that folk copy the entire article for safekeeping. Many articles I’ve only posted links for (out of courtesy in that the reader can go to the original source) are now dead. Videos follow the same pattern as YT is now reserved for material only JA would approve of.
And the libraries, well they’ve been culling those for a good while now too. (See here also). With the histories gone we’ll be all set for the coming reset.
The Enzed Govt doesn’t appear to just tinker with shadow banning and the like… back in early 2019 they hired a security firm with your tax dollars to spy on folk (EWR included) who didn’t want 1080 poison contaminating their water supplies. People who decline the consumption of this ‘harmless’ green ‘candy’ are classed as that other forbidden word that starts with ‘t’. If you’re a fan of the ‘candy’ by the way, read here.
On that concluding note, you persons that give birth … well those birth pains, like free speech, are set to be a thing of the past!
