Rebranding, renaming, covering up …isn’t that what ‘they’ do best? This is an essay I consider to be right on the nail. It weaves together the narratives (aka lies) that have been spun to indigenous peoples in order to gain access to their lands and resources. By stealth. These narratives we’ve known in part but stitched together here they give us a view of the whole picture … the intent, the modus operandi and the finished product. The most recent narrative of course being the covid plandemic …
Throughout history, power has perfected a singular deception: creating elaborate narratives to disguise systematic resource extraction as benevolent intervention. From the Irish countryside to Indian provinces, from modern medical systems to digital workplaces, the pattern remains constant. Empire identifies or creates a crisis, offers a solution that requires surrendering autonomy, then extracts resources while victims thank them for their help. These narratives of extraction don’t simply steal physical resources—they colonize time itself, transform health into commodity, destroy reproductive autonomy, and reshape human consciousness to accept exploitation as liberation.
The genius of these narratives lies in their moral inversions. Starvation becomes a population problem rather than food theft. Poverty becomes underdevelopment rather than systematic impoverishment. Disease becomes individual failure rather than manufactured illness. Women’s exhaustion becomes oppression by motherhood rather than capitalism’s demand for doubled labor. Each narrative transforms resistance into pathology, making those who refuse the “solution” appear backward, ignorant, or dangerous.
What makes modern extraction narratives particularly insidious is their totalizing nature. Where colonial powers once had to use visible force, today’s systems of extraction operate through manufactured consent.
“Whether we’re fighting for Te Tiriti or against new coal mines, for tax reform and fair pay, to protect Te Taiao or even just to keep NZ’s stop-smoking programme on track – we all face the same well-funded and well-organised ideological opposition”.
Further to our previous article revealing David Seymour’s links to the Atlas Network, I came across this one recently at Substack by Torfrida Orme (posted at Tapatahi Substack) and was intrigued to see Seymour’s Waitangi 2024 interview with Mihingarangi Forbes. It’s earlier on in the piece with relation to the Treaty Principles Bill, soon after it was introduced.
In it he shifts uncomfortably when asked ‘does the Act Party have any links to the Atlas Network?’ (@ 13 mins this topic begins)
He replies ‘no’, but resorts to the now time-worn and fizzled go-to … ‘conspiracy theory’. Trying unsuccessfully to heap shame on Mihingarangi for descending to such ‘low quality’ information, casting aspersions upon her journalistic ability. Her ability IMO towers well above today’s lamestream endeavours.
Seymour’s own links to Atlas are easily-verifiable by his historical job stints at two Canadian Atlas-affiliated think tanks.
Because we appear to have a repeat scenario such as happened in Australia, particularly with regard to the Treaty Principles Bill here and Aussie’s referendum with respect to an indigenous voice in Parliament. (Video links all in the article). Rather than promoting equality for all, it is becoming more apparent that he really is inciting racial division. Going by the Aussie playbook at least. Race is another time-worn tactic. It is the ace card of those who seek to divide and rule. It’s how GB retained control over so many millions in India for so long.
“In all our varied campaigns we are up against the same powerful groups trying to keep hold of their resources. It’s in their interest that we are fragmented.”
The last thing these corporate pariahs want is environmentalists messing up their mining plans. Isn’t it all making sense now?
The article below by Torfrida Orme is a must read IMO.
Remember (quote):

ATLAS – how a right-wing global network is building influence in Aotearoa
Over the last six months it’s become so much clearer what we’re up against.
Whether we’re fighting for Te Tiriti or against new coal mines, for tax reform and fair pay, to protect Te Taiao or even just to keep NZ’s stop-smoking programme on track – we all face the same well-funded and well-organised ideological opposition.
As we plunge into fight-back, it’s worth spending some time to find out more about this opposition, why it seems to have appeared now and how it functions.
There are some aspects of the source article we don’t agree with however the main thrust is Seymour’s links to Atlas and their agenda. Re climate change. We do recognize there is a change in climate however who is behind that, in our opinion, is not you & I and our alleged use of ‘fossil fuels’, rather it is the well documented practice of weather modification. (Read Elana Freeland’s books on topic and if you can’t do that at least visit our geoengineering pages, main menu). See also Sen Malcolm Roberts exposé. The other aspect I have reservations about is the Fabian Socialists. Barry Smith spoke often of them (including the Mont Pelerin Society). Their original logo is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Read more here. It is quite a web we have to negotiate to get to the truth of things, even moreso in the past few years. There will always be differences of opinion and it’s best we don’t play into the hands of those who seek to maintain rule over us, by building walls in response to their divisive tactics. Rather we need, now more than ever, to put aside those differences (agree to disagree) and unite. They are a few thousand, we are a few billion. They are culling us and intend to continue. EWNZ

I am still astounded at the number of so-called awake people who have not yet seen through this scam promoted by the same creators of all the other lies we’ve been fed for a very long time. If you’re wondering what those are just peruse all the tabs at the main menu. EWR
“The UN’s Brundtland Commission on Global Governance described Sustainable Development as “Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the needs of the future.” “
Have you seen anything sustainable going on since the introduction of these plans in the early ’90s? I see worse pollution, bad financial management, councils up to their necks in debt, homelessness, poverty & a corresponding growth in fascist behaviour by governments, Central & Local, not to mention the suppression of free speech & true democracy. Time to wake up & see what’s really going down.
“We are at present working discreetly, with all our might, to wrest this mysterious force called sovereignty out of the clutches of the local nation states of the world. And all the time we are denying with our lips what we are doing with our hands.” Arnold Toynbee – International Affairs, p.809, November 1931
It’s in every community in the nation. We hear it talked about in county commission meetings and state legislatures. It’s even used in advertising as a positive practice for food processing and auto sales. It’s used as the model for building materials, power sources and transportation policy. It’s sold as the bold visionary plan for the future. The nation is being transformed under the banner of “Sustainable Development.”
We are assured by elected officials that Sustainable Development is simply a tool or a guideline to help direct the carefully-planned growth of our cities and rural areas while protecting our natural resources for future generations. “We must guard against a chaotic, unregulated growth in our cities,” say its earnest proponents as they sell the concept through familiar, non-threatening words and beautiful pictures.
Citizens are assured by their community leaders that all such plans are just local, local, local, created with the participation of the whole community. Sustainable Development policy, they say, is just an environmental land conservation policy, a sensible development policy. Sustainable…what’s wrong with that?
As usual, the answers are hidden in the details. Are we hearing the truth? What are the consequences of the policy that has taken over every level of government? Are there hidden dangers most just can’t see? Or, as its proponents claim, is opposition to Sustainable Development really just a silly, overblown conspiracy theory found in a twenty-year-old meaningless document called Agenda 21?
The UN’s Brundtland Commission on Global Governance described Sustainable Development as “Development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the needs of the future.” It’s just common sense to assure we don’t overuse our resources, say proponents. If everyone will do their part, we can achieve total sustainability.
Those of us who remember our loved ones who either died in war, or who returned, ever to live with the horrific memories of war, we do so from deep respect. We are not glorifying war. These men and women were of a very unique breed. They went in love, desiring to defend their loved ones, us, and their beloved countries. They never wanted war, they were caught up in events against which they had very little, if any, ability to influence. My uncle was so deeply affected by war he would weep when he remembered it. These men on return had no counselors to hear their trauma, they just got on with life and raising families, and buried their grief. They bore a great cost.
50 million lives lost in WW2 … “newly placed gravestones, mangled bodies, shattered minds, broken hearts and homes” (Maj Gen Smedley Butler) – the senseless heartbreak of war.
War is a Racket – literally
Although every ANZAC we honour these our forbears, we also now know that these loved ones who truly did sacrifice their lives, were pawns in a much larger scheme of events. My father, who went off to WW II with his four brothers at the tender age of 17, said in his latter years that wars would never end because ‘wars make money’. Because our true histories are little known and because the media provides us with a very narrow slanted view, then it’s not widely known that the so-called mother country, Great Britain and the royal family deal in the arms trade. Yes they actually profit from wars. Major General Smedley Butler in his famous lecture: ‘War is a Racket’ clearly outlines whom war serves – the corporations. In the age old rationale of ‘defending democracy’ – the military are really defending the mother country’s rights to plunder resources. Hear his speech here.
So, as always, we need to follow the familiar money trail.
So called ‘Maori Wars’ were Actually Land Wars
Some of the lands confiscated in Aotearoa by Te Kooti Tango Whenua, The Land Taking Court
It’s little known that some of our own Maori soldiers returned from those World Wars to find their ancestral lands confiscated by the very government they fought for.
Those who read beyond those official histories we all heard in school (who know that ‘Maori Wars’ and ‘Indian Wars’ were actually ‘Land Wars’) will also be aware of the role of the Rothschild family in fomenting and profiteering from wars for hundreds of years, boasting even of funding both sides. These people, incredible as it sounds to real human beings, are dealing in blood. (The following video is the short 12 min version of ‘War is a Racket’, the longer one is found at this link).
The death toll from WWII was over 50 million lives.
“I care not what puppet is placed upon the throne of England to rule the Empire on which the sun never sets. The man who controls Britain’s money supply controls the British Empire, and I control the British money supply”…Nathan Mayer Rothschild
“If my sons did not want wars, there would be none”… Mrs Rothschild
Our loved ones were simply pawns.
Nevertheless, again, we honour the fact that our loved ones went honourably and served their beloved countries and peoples. If you want to get angry at the so called ‘celebration’ of war, please direct this not at our commemorations, but at these other people, the profiteers, who have blood on their hands. Blood that one day, they will have to answer for.
When your children are old enough, teach them the true histories, tell them how it really was and still is. We want wars to stop, but the truth needs to be told about the origins of those wars. You will have to uncover those histories for yourselves because mainstream media is not about to. They guard this dirty little secret well.
