A sprawling global network is pushing governments toward permissive, industrial-scale euthanasia

From Frank Bergman

“Investigative reporter Asra Nomani revealed a sprawling global network pushing governments toward permissive, industrial-scale euthanasia.

Her findings are alarming:

15,000 Canadians died via assisted suicide in 2023, now the 5th leading cause of death in the country. The Netherlands and Belgium routinely approve euthanasia for mental illness, minor children, and even newborn infants deemed to have “unbearable suffering.” Dutch law already allows doctors to kill children as young as one year old, with activists pushing to lower the age even further. The Dutch model has become the globalists’ blueprint, and now they’re racing to dismantle the final legal barriers. America is not far behind.”

Dutch Government Moves to Lift All Restrictions on Euthanasia

The Dutch government is taking a stunning step toward fully decriminalizing euthanasia, preparing to eliminate the last remaining restrictions on state-sanctioned assisted suicide after a lobbying blitz from far-left activist groups.

Dutch media reports confirm that Parliament will now debate a proposal that would allow unrestricted, open-ended euthanasia, turning the Netherlands into one of the most radical death regimes on Earth.

A petition demanding full legalization surpassed the required 75,000 signatures and is backed by the NGO Stichting Levenseinderegie (the End-of-Life Self-Direction Foundation).

The far-left group led by psychologist-turned-euthanasia evangelist Wim van Dijk.

The NGO openly campaigns for a future in which virtually anyone, regardless of medical condition, age, or circumstance, can receive state-approved suicide on demand.

Globalist Death Model Spreading Worldwide

The Netherlands already legalized euthanasia in 2002, but with guardrails, at least on paper.

Those limits required physician approval, certain qualifying conditions, and safeguards.

However, critics have been warning that those “safeguards” were a façade, and they were right.

Now, activists and radical lawmakers from the left-wing Democrats 66 (D66) party are preparing to introduce legislation next session that would strip away the remaining restrictions entirely.

The timing is no coincidence.

The Netherlands has seen explosive growth in state-sanctioned deaths.

In 2025 alone, the government killed a staggering 10,000 Dutch residents via euthanasia, according to DutchNews.

However, experts warn the real number may be far higher.

Alex Schadenberg of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition says the Dutch government doesn’t even report all euthanasia deaths.

In a government-commissioned review, investigators uncovered:

That last category means over 500 people were euthanized without asking for it, a fact that should chill anyone who believes human life has value.

A Worldwide Industry of Engineered Death

Investigative reporter Asra Nomani exposed what she calls “Assisted Suicide Inc.”

Nomani revealed a sprawling global network pushing governments toward permissive, industrial-scale euthanasia.

Her findings are alarming:

   • 15,000 Canadians died via assisted suicide in 2023, now the 5th leading cause of death in the country.

   • The Netherlands and Belgium routinely approve euthanasia for mental illness, minor children, and even newborn infants deemed to have “unbearable suffering.”

   • Dutch law already allows doctors to kill children as young as one year old, with activists pushing to lower the age even further.

The Dutch model has become the globalists’ blueprint, and now they’re racing to dismantle the final legal barriers.

America Is Not Far Behind

While Europe accelerates this march toward state-managed death, the United States is also experiencing a wave of pro-euthanasia legislation:

Illinois is pushing to legalize physician-assisted suicide.

Montana and New York are considering similar bills.

Oregon reported 376 assisted suicides in 2024, a number that grows every year.

Once a fringe idea, euthanasia is now becoming a mainstream policy priority among Western left-wing governments, and activists aren’t stopping until death becomes a “service,” not a last resort.

Chilling Direction for the West

Critics warn the Netherlands is now openly embracing a culture where:

   • Life is negotiable

   • Death is a bureaucratic service

   • Vulnerable citizens, including the elderlydisabledpoormentally ill, and children, are at risk

The push to completely decriminalize euthanasia marks the most extreme step yet, signaling a grim future where state-sanctioned death is treated as a “right,” a “solution,” and ultimately, a weapon.

Slay News will continue tracking the debate as the Dutch Parliament prepares to consider one of the most radical euthanasia expansions in modern history.

EWNZ comment:
Where is NZ up to in this? Wikipedia reports thatEuthanasia became legal in New Zealand when the End of Life Choice Act 2019 took full effect on 7 November 2021. “ One wonders, given the scenarios one hears about these days of experiences folk are having in hospitals with their loved ones, if this is not already in effect albeit informally. “We can’t do any more for your family member” and Morphine is administered along with Midazolam ‘to keep them comfortable’ until they pass. My elderly neighbour, no relatives nearby, was treated periodically for a few years prior with occasional hospital admissions, then suddenly, ‘we can’t do any more’ (aka I suspect, he has reached his financial limit) followed by 3 choices … home with home help, a care home nearby or hospice. He chose hospice, dear man, and whilst I visited him there for his remaining 2 weeks of life, I noted brochures at the foyer indicating more hospices were being built in his nearby home town‘because of the aging population’. Note, hospices used to be for terminal folk, not aging folk. I smelled a rat right then. Call me suspicious, I don’t care, but old folk usually went to care homes when they couldn’t live independently, not to hospices. Then there is the Liverpool Care Pathway (see here also). Nil by mouth. That is the ‘care’ they administer. It’s stopped we’re told but I’ve heard of folk receiving this treatment in NZ. We need to stay vigilant and not leave our loved ones alone in hospital.

HORRIFYING: Canada’s $1.2 Trillion ‘Depopulation Plan’ Exposed: Gov’t Plot to Euthanize 14.7 Million Citizens by 2047 Uncovered

Note: Lest you doubt the ongoing war first peoples have always been up against “Three hundred thousand are forecast to be Indigenous, continuing a centuries-long cycle of state-sanctioned extermination masked as “care.” ” EWNZ

More than 14 million Canadians, according to the data, will be culled by Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) instead of receiving palliative or mental health care.

From Baxter Dmitry
via Exposing the Darkness @ substack

According to a recent publication in the Journal of Death and Dying, Health Canada has unveiled a plan for “savings” that is as brutal as it is unprecedented. As detailed by Kelsi Sheren, the analysis reveals that from 2027 to 2047, the government is projected to save a staggering $1.273 trillion—not through innovation or improved healthcare—but through death.

More than 14 million Canadians, according to the data, will be culled by Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) instead of receiving palliative or mental health care.

Let that number sink in: 14.7 million human beings put to death by the state.

The breakdown exposes the raw cruelty beneath the bureaucratic language.

Over nine million are expected to be the elderly—our parents, grandparents, the generation that built the country. Another four million are projected to be those struggling with mental illness or suicidal thoughts—people who should be receiving compassion and treatment, not a government-funded lethal injection. Three hundred thousand are forecast to be Indigenous, continuing a centuries-long cycle of state-sanctioned extermination masked as “care.” The remainder are the forgotten—the addicts, the poor, the homeless. Those who once fell through the cracks are now being deliberately pushed through them.

What we’re witnessing is not compassion—it’s a depopulation agenda dressed up as healthcare reform. For years, the elites have spoken in euphemisms about “sustainability,” “resource allocation,” and “reducing human impact.”

But behind the sterile language lies the same philosophy that drove eugenics programs in the last century: that some lives are no longer worth the cost of keeping alive. This is the new face of population control—clean, clinical, and taxpayer-funded.

This is what Bill Gates spoke about years ago when he calmly explained that “death panels” will be necessary to keep healthcare systems “sustainable.” The idea was dismissed as a dystopian conspiracy at the time.

But today, we’re seeing those exact mechanisms quietly installed—committees, guidelines, and cost-benefit analyses that decide who lives and who dies in the name of fiscal efficiency. The architects of this system call it mercy. In truth, it is the economic rationalization of death.

And it’s not stopping with Canada. Similar conversations are happening across the West, from the UK’s National Health Service to U.S. think tanks advocating for “end-of-life cost optimization.” The narrative is spreading—one that frames euthanasia as empowerment, while burying the fact that the system itself created the despair in the first place. When people are crushed by inflation, isolation, and mental collapse, the state arrives not with help, but with a syringe.

The data is there for anyone to see. The SAGE Journal and the Journal of Death and Dying make it clear: this isn’t about compassion—it’s about control. The great reset of humanity doesn’t always come with wars or pandemics. Sometimes it comes disguised as kindness, whispered in the language of “choice” and “dignity.”

But make no mistake—what is being built for Canada, and soon the rest of the world, is a system of managed decline, where human life is reduced to a line item on a balance sheet.

The elites have declared open season on the vulnerable. And unless we speak up, they’ll call it progress.

Food – The Ultimate Weapon Of The Ruling (not) Elite

The original link to this article at Info Clearing House is now gone. It’s from 2008 and an interesting to read in light of the current regime. I can find nothing (quick search) about William online, let me know if you can. I expect his enlightening info would’ve been hoovered carefully from the internet by now, classed as disinfo. Some time ago I did see his Robert McNamara depop quote but could not find a reference to that anywhere either. EWR

By William Bowles

19/04/08 “Creative-i ” — –Using food as a weapon is as old as the siege but today’s barbarians have upped the anté by several orders of magnitude.

“…There are only two possible ways in which a world of 10 billion people can be averted. Either the current birth rates must come down more quickly. Or the current death rates must go up. There is no other way. There are, of course, many ways in which the death rates can go up. In a thermonuclear age, war can accomplish it very quickly and decisively. Famine and disease are nature’s ancient checks on population growth, and neither one has disappeared from the scene … To put it simply: Excessive population growth is the greatest single obstacle to the economic and social advancement of most of the societies in the developing world.” — Speech to the Club of Rome by Robert McNamara, Oct. 2, 1979

“Overpopulation and rapid demographic growth of Mexico is already today one of the major threats to the national security of the United States. Unless the U.S.-Mexico border is sealed, we will be up to our necks in Mexicans for whom we cannot find jobs.” —Robert McNamara, then World Bank president, March 19, 1982

McNamara’s thinly veiled genocidal utterances took place over thirty years ago, echoing the wealthy and the privileged’s fear of the ’great unwashed’ when ‘over-population’ was the buzzword. So not much has changed has it, we’re hearing the same, tired old messages being rolled out once again by the ruling elites and their spin doctors. McNamara’s cries of fear about being up to his neck in Mexicans is exactly same as the current bogey doing the rounds in Europe, only now they’re Africans.

Thus the current explosions in Haiti, Eygpt, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Indonesia and elsewhere over the rocketing price of basic foodstuffs such as cooking oil and rice prompted the BBC to describe them as first and foremost “a potential threat to Western security” (BBC News 24, 13 April, 2008), never mind the threat to human life, but then it reveals exactly where the BBC’s head is at, protecting the status quo.

To add insult to injury, the crétin Gordon Brown has the damn nerve to say,

“Rising food prices threaten to roll back progress we have made in recent years on development. For the first time in decades, the number of people facing hunger is growing.”

Progress? What planet does our glorious leader live on? Standards of living have been falling for everybody (except the rich who, as a consequence, have just gotten even richer by stealing even more from the poor), since the 1970s when the ‘neo-liberal’ agenda was initiated and not only have the poorest been the hardest hit but we’ve seen millions of the formerly ‘middle classes’ dumped unceremoniously back where they ‘belong’, with the poor. Social status doesn’t put food on the table. So much for the capitalist ‘good life’.

These are the facts: real wages in the US have fallen since the 1970s. It’s reckoned that around 40 million Americans now live under the ‘official’ poverty level, but at least they can still eat something, not so the millions of people in the so-called developing world who already immiserated by so-called free trade, have been hit with a double whammy, nay, a quintuple whammy.

Whammy #1: ‘Free Trade’

The poor countries of the world have been ‘persuaded’ that growing food for export so as to earn foreign currency which they then have to use to buy imported food (guess where from?), is better than growing food in their back yard. And to make sure they live up to their end of the ‘bargain’, under WTO ‘rules’ they get punished if they try to control imports.

Countries grew their own food which not only fed them but also created employment, now grow food and things like flowers, for export in order to ‘earn’ the precious dollar which obviously they have to spend on importing the food they once grew. Worse, the subsidized food imports wipe out what remains of indigenous agriculture, it simply can’t compete. What an insane setup! It only makes sense when you realize that the managers who setup this ‘deal’ work for BIg Business, they call the shots. If it were a ‘Mafia’ deal it would be called criminal extortion.

Of course, we in the West with our wealth subsidize the production of food, so the poor of the planet get hit with a whammy within a whammy. Not having the resources to subsidize their own food production, as the cost of importing food rises but not the price they get for exporting food to us, they are truly caught between a rock and a barren place.

And it’s the same IMF and World Bank policies which created the latest crisis to hit the poor of our planet, that are responsible for creating such an unequal relationship in the first place.

Whammy #2: Energy

And of course to grow all these crops for export needs lots of energy and lots of water, and lots of fertilizer, and lots of pesticides, all of which must be bought with precious foreign currency (and until recently, only dollars would be accepted). With oil now selling at over $113 a barrel, the cost of producing anything has shot through the roof. The winners: The Big Oil Cartels. No need to tell you who the losers are.

But the actual cost of producing the oil hasn’t risen much at all, the entire responsibility for these increases has to be placed where it belongs, on the commodities speculators and the Big Five oilcos. In other words, on all those grimy gamblers in investment corps and pension fund managers. It’s the system.

Whammy #3: ‘Bio-fuels’

The latest addition to the armoury of food used as a weapon and perhaps the most obvious example to date, is converting production from food staples to so-called bio-fuels.

For rather than us just using less energy, we buy it from the poor of the planet in the form of ‘bio-fuels’. Brilliant isn’t it. What poor country needs to produce ethanol? It has no possible use except perhaps to make moonshine.

But we knew that this would happen and everybody told our cretinous, criminal leaders what would happen. They’re too busy producing wheat for export to feed all those damn cows, cows that we turn into hamburgers for our consumption, but now, instead of producing wheat for export to make burgers, we’re producing ethanol to put in our automobiles. Either way it’s madness!

And in any case, as a leaked EU report shows, bio-fuels do nothing to halt the production of greenhouse gases (they may even increase it), the entire ‘bio-fuels’ thing is one gigantic scam, largely to do with what is the most profitable crop to grow (see ‘Industry asks for biofuels policy U-turn).

Whammy #4: Water

Fact: It takes 1,000-2,000 litres of water to produce 1 kilo of wheat

Fact: It takes 10,000-13,000 litres of water to produce 1 kilo of meat (Source: FAO)

And guess what gets produced the most, largely for Western consumption—burgers. And not surprisingly, the ‘neo-liberal’ agenda has seen the enforced privatization of water across the planet along with other key resources formerly held in communal ownership.

Whammy #5: Climate Change

Predictably, climate change impacts on those least able to deal with it, the poor. And lest we forget, the majority of the planet’s population are poor. The connectedness between everything must surely be apparent to you, the reader, the fact that messing up the biosphere the way we have been doing for the past two hundred years reverberates throughout the planet. And our political elites call themselves civilized!

Meanwhile, back in the land of the powerful, we’re busy planning for endless war in order to preserve our privilege, so even as our glorious leaders pontificate on about this or that crisis facing us, they’re spending billions on developing robots to shit bombs on the planet’s poor from a comfortable armchair some distance from the scene of the ‘action’.

“UAV Market to Top $13 Billion by 2014

Washington, D.C. (PRWEB) April 14, 2008 — The global war on terrorism has prompted the United States to pump significant amounts of money into its Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) programs, asserts Forecast International analyst Larry Dickerson.” — www.aviationtoday.com/webinars/2008_0417.html

How can anybody in his or her right mind not view these people and the entire class in whose interests they work so tirelessly, not see them not only as war criminals but as destroyers of life! These are truly barbarians in every sense of the word, for they destroy everything of beauty and value including entire countries in order to preserve their piece of the action.

No wonder the Hollywood obsession with ‘saving the planet’ but when will we see a movie about saving ourselves and our home from these predatory mass murderers?

So why is it that we turn away from the carnage ostensibly wrought in our name? After all, people give generously to so-called charities, so it’s not that people don’t care about the plight of others.

Again, I come back to the corporate/state media for surely without their active complicity in covering up the endless atrocities being committed would we stand for it? I think not, but then I’m an eternal optimist about the real nature of the human spirit once we stop fearing and start thinking and feeling.

The major reason is the media’s (never mind the politicians) failure to connect events with the underlying economics that drives them to act the way they do. Thus the ‘credit-crunch’ is so misnamed in order to hide the fact that it’s the economic and political policies of our governments in cahoots with Big Business that created the crisis in the first place (as it has all previous crises).

The ‘credit-crunch’ is merely symptomatic of a sick system that needs to be replaced poste haste.

The issue is really quite simple, as long as we have ruling elites joined at the hip to Big Capital, running the show, they will never, not in a million years entertain the idea of doing away with the present economic system—which is the cause of all our miseries—and replacing it with a saner and more modest way of earning a buck, there’s too much at stake and for so few, dammit! Only we, the so-called people can do that, they won’t even begin to change things unless we either force them to or failing that, get rid of them.

A Gates Fdn funded trial of Gardasil (Merck) on nearly 16K poor children of India’s Andhra Pradesh caused many to fall terribly ill and at least five deaths

BILL AND MELINDA GATES FOUNDATION KICKED OUT OF INDIA

From steemit.com

“Native Indian doctors and health activists started raising objections as the illegality of the testing of those vaccines on poor children started to come out into the open”

Yes, the Microsoft founder and the icon of the Third-World Humanitarianism has been kicked out of India as his fraud was called out. He came to India posing as a philanthropist and humanitarian helping the Third-World poor people by alleviating their conditions and yes, of course, “VACCINATING” their children.

But, only a couple of years earlier suspicions started to emerge. As, reports of their themselves being heavily invested in the companies which were manufacturing those vaccines started to appear. Native Indian doctors and health activists started raising objections as the illegality of the testing of those vaccines on poor children started to come out into the open. Suspicions arose that he may have committed a crime against humanity by illegally testing vaccines on poor innocent children. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation had been facing trials in the Supreme Court of India since then and a couple of months earlier they were kicked out of this country. So that, they could no longer kill innocent poor Indian children by illegal vaccine testing.

Back in 2009, the Gates Foundation funded the trial of Gardasil (Merck and co.) on nearly sixteen thousand poor and vulnerable tribal school children of the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Many among those children fell terribly ill and at least five among them died.

At around the same time they conducted the trial of Cervarix (GlaxoSmithKline) on some fourteen thousand tribal children in Vadodara a place in Gujarat, another state of India. Because of this hundreds of those children fell terribly sick and at least two among them died.

Upon investigation it was found that in both cases consent forms were forged. As many of those consent forms only had thumb impressions, many among them were signed by the wardens, who were bought, of the hostels those children were staying in. Many illiterate and poor parents were coerced into signing it too. And the children themselves had no clue about the nature of the disease and the vaccines.

Sana Ansari, 19, her brother Mazhar and sister Asiya were all enrolled in the trial of Gardasil 9 drug – but she and her family say she had no idea she was testing the drug.

A petition which condemned these atrocities as “ crimes against humanity” has claimed that the Gates Foundation, the WHO and the Programme for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), both of which supported these trials, were criminally negligent for testing these deadly vaccines on the most vulnerable, poor, uneducated and massively under-informed people in India. They were not made aware of the potential dangers involved in those trials.

Aman Dhawan, 16, from Indore, lost weight and strength after being enrolled in the Gardasil 9 trial, which he didn’t know he had signed up for either.

When all this was coming out into the open an attempt to cover this all up was also made with the help of bought up Indian health officials. But, eventually Gates Foundation was brought under trial in the Supreme Court of India. A couple of months ago it was kicked out this country. People of India will no longer be the victims of these Nazi-like experiments. It is time these big pharmaceutical companies realized that India is no longer going to allow them to treat vulnerable sections of India as guinea pigs because they can’t do that in their own countries.

Whistleblower Dr Anand Rai (pictured), 37, lifted the lid on the scandal of illegal drugs trials in the city and now has been given an armed guard to protect him.

And, I am damn sure that the Western mainstream media was not at all talking about it. I am from one those States of India to which the Gates Foundation came.

Time and again it has been proved that in India majority of health related issues are because of hygiene related issues like poor sanitation or poor drinking water and things like that. And, not because of the lack of being vaccinated so that big pharmaceutical companies could earn huge profits.

gates kicked out 4.jpg
Just because these innocent children are poor and vulnerable it does not mean that they deserve to be treated as guinea pigs for illegal and dangerous drug trials by big pharmaceutical companies.

$230K for teams with Police & military backgrounds to ‘battle’ beggars in Hamilton – the new face of ‘humanitarianism’?

Who ever would have thought four decades ago that NZ would ever come to this? A country that once saw all were housed and had jobs until treasonous Roger Douglas got all the corporate snouts in the public trough & sold us down the river. I’ve read recently that studies reveal it Is cheaper to actually house the homeless than to spend this kind of money policing them.

Giving Homes to the Homeless is Cheaper Than Leaving them on the Street. Here’s Proof
One study cited by Mother Jones tracked 4,679 chronically homeless people in New York City and found that their emergency room visits, jail costs, shelter stays, and other uses of public welfare programs cost, on average, $40,449 per person, per year. When they were put in supportive housing, the state saved $16,282 per person. Denver conducted a similar study and found that for each homeless person given supportive housing, taxpayers saved $17,858 per person each year over a two-year period. And according to a Mother Jones infographic, support housing for a homeless person in Los Angeles’ Skid Row cost taxpayers just $605 per person, per month, as opposed to $2,897 per person per month if they remained on the street.   READ MORE AT THE LINK

Read stuff’s article below on how NZ is literally tackling poor vulnerable citizens forced to live on the streets. In a proven not cost effective way.  How ever will the government house the incoming thousands of refugees I wonder? After all they’ve hocked off a large chunk of our state owned houses (to profiteer on the real estate under them) and they could’ve kept those for refugees and Kiwis … and they’re now building high rise stack and pack apartments in the cities instead. High rise chicken coops all wired up to 5G no doubt. And their goal with this mission here is to make you feel safer? EWR

From stuff.co.nz

“Hamilton City Council has recruited a team of five to combat begging in the suburbs.

The one-year trial, set to cost $230,000, is an extension of the City Safe service and will target nuisance and anti-social behaviour.

The team, which will work seven days a week, will patrol suburbs including Dinsdale, Hillcrest and Hamilton East.

The goal is to make people feel safer in their communities, according to a statement from council.”

“The new staff come from a variety of backgrounds including police, military and security,” City Safe Operations manager Paul Blewman said.

“The team speak numerous languages including Chinese, Indian, Filipino and Korean which will be a benefit when working with Hamilton’s multicultural population.”

The service was agreed to by council in the 2019/2020 Annual Plan.

“Success of City Safe in the central city to deter begging and anti-social behaviour has resulted in an increase in complaints about such behaviour now occurring in a number of suburban areas where there is no City Safe presence,” according to a council document.

Have you seen any State Homes sitting empty for any length of time?

Given our current homeless problem (43+K) & shortage of housing I’m seeing state homes boarded up, selling, sold etc. Penny Bright exposed the thousands of homes sold off in Tamaki & elsewhere to property developers. I’ve also heard of private folk buying them for a virtual song. Some folk who were evicted from these who are still homeless. Then there’s the P scam with many sales, the tale spun by the Nats that justified sell offs. Also the folk being placed in emergency motel accommodation. I’ve heard of folk leaving those with $85K debt because WINZ loaned the money for that accommodation. The only real beneficiaries of that scheme of course are the moteliers. How is it rocket science to simply have lent that $85 to the homeless person towards a new house? Even a tiny home, a container home or similar? If you have stories to tell about any of these scenarios, and would like to write them down (doesn’t have to be flash writing, just as you would speak) & send them to me with any relevant images even. Comment in comments below with your email, I won’t publish that but will contact you & delete the comment. Alternatively contact me via the contact page. One scenario that’s been told me since posting this is that of bulldozed state homes, very recently too. We are in the middle of a housing crisis & they are bulldozing perfectly good looking houses… a formerly state owned asset down the gurgler of course courtesy of Roger Douglas. So if you can report any thing like this, let me know how long ago they were bulldozed & the addresses where they were. We are told these sections will have new community houses built on them. Have you seen any being built? If you’ve noticed any houses/units etc also that have sat empty or boarded up for a while can you send me a pic with the following info if you have it:
1) current date & about how long it’s been empty

2) if you happen to know anything about the last tenants as in why they left (just left, were evicted, muscled out?)

3) is it for sale?

4) what town/area/city is it?

5) do you have any other info about it

5) if you’ve been housed in a motel, did you leave with debt to repay to WINZ?

I’d like to compile these & get a general picture of the extent of former HNZ homes being land banked. Needless to say your personal details would be kept confidential & unpublished. (People have already indicated they know of homes that have been empty for up to 18 months & more for no apparent reason).

Below are images of just a few of the Tamaki homes exposed by Penny Bright as land banked. Search ‘state housing’ in categories on these stories (left of page).

So the chap gets off because the fine is too big?? Where else can that happen? Note how mainstream whore media reframe the whole thing. ‘Narrowly avoids’ … what a farce this is. We have a law to protect the environment, but only from certain people who can afford the fine! Remember the guy who got a jail sentence for catching fish where he wasn’t supposed to in the Rotorua lakesto feed his family? No mercy for that man, who had to spend 12 months away from his family, and this Horowhenua man kills thousands of fish, having knowingly broken the law … gets 80 hrs community service because he can’t afford $80,000. Wouldn’t that normally just translate to an equivalent jail sentence?  Justice for the wealthy farmer, none for the poor man feeding his family. Also deemed racist at the time compared with other contemporary crimes.  Please, before you all jump up and down about that, don’t shoot the messenger. That was from newshub and really in the cold light of day it does look as they say doesn’t it?

Remember this is why they sent thousands to ‘the colonies’ particularly Australia, stealing bread for their families got them deported quick smart. Sounding more familiar by the day. All getting very Dickensian isn’t it? And note on the farcical toothless Resource Management Act …. Dr Mike Joy has called it out thus on social media: “The RMA is a joke, and a very bad one at that, and this is a prime example.”

Here is the article from Stuff:

The people who “make our clothes, assemble our phones and grow our food” are being exploited to enrich corporations & the super wealthy (Oxfam)

More than $8 of every $10 of wealth created last year went to the richest 1%.

That’s according to a new report from Oxfam International, which estimates that the bottom 50% of the world’s population saw no increase in wealth.

Oxfam says the trend shows that the global economy is skewed in favor of the rich, rewarding wealth instead of work.

“The billionaire boom is not a sign of a thriving economy but a symptom of a failing economic system,” said Winnie Byanyima, executive director of Oxfam International.

In the U.S. 49.7 Million Are Now Poor, and 80% of the Total Population Is Near Poverty

From politicalblindspot.com

If you live in the United States, there is a good chance that you are now living in poverty or near poverty. Nearly 50 million Americans, (49.7 Million), are living below the poverty line, with 80% of the entire U.S. population living near poverty or below it.

That near poverty statistic is perhaps more startling than the 50 million Americans below the poverty line, because it translates to a full 80% of the population struggling with joblessness, near-poverty or reliance on government assistance to help make ends meet.

In September, the Associated Press pointed to survey data that told of an increasingly widening gap between rich and poor, as well as the loss of good-paying manufacturing jobs that used to provide opportunities for the “Working Class” to explain an increasing trend towards poverty in the U.S.

But the numbers of those below the poverty line does not merely reflect the number of jobless Americans. Instead, according to a revised census measure released Wednesday, the number – 3 million higher than what the official government numbers imagine – are also due to out-of-pocket medical costs and work-related expenses.

NZ Pensioner in poverty: living in a caravan to survive

As we all are finding out, District Councils NZ wide, in keeping with the current corporates feeding at the property developers trough,  are selling off the pensioner flats for later profits, and likewise landbanking our state homes. They are by increments dismantling the welfare state. This appears to include stripping the lower income folk of a roof over their heads. This woman, a victim sadly of reduncancies following the 2008 crash (thanks to the corrupt banking system) … has no job and cannot rent at the prices charged in the area her family lives. I know of similar in NZ. A friend of similar age to this woman, in another district is working part time to pay her $350 pwk converted garage!! This is growing into a crime of obscene proportions with folk living in cars or at the behest and debt to WINZ, in motels. Where are their brains (the Govt/corporation I’m talking about). Where is it logical to indebt people to the tune of $85K I read for one woman, when they could have loaned her that amount towards a house,  like they used to once in NZ. Before the banking fraternity moved in and took over. We are rapidly descending into third world status friends. The camping ground owner who has shown mercy to this woman here in the article, says they turn away at least one a day in similar circumstances. Tent cities next is it?

From RadioNZ

An elderly woman living in the Bay of Plenty says she has no choice but to live in a caravan at a campground, because the pension is not enough to live on.

Lynette Haines, 69, is single and doesn’t own a home – she receives $390 a week through superannuation.

The cheapest liveable rentals available in Tauranga cost around $300 a week, which Ms Haines said would leave her just $90 for essentials, healthcare, and food.

She instead lives in a 3.3 metre caravan – just long enough for an average man to lie down arms stretched overhead – at a campground for $154 a week.

Over 170 years after Engels, Britain is still a country that murders its poor

Lower your gaze from the blackened husk of Grenfell Tower and you see the flowers and the signs decorating the streets. Many are photocopied pleas to help find the missing: 12-year-old Jessica, baby Amaya. Steve. Moses. Nestled among them are the others: scribbles and boards and A4 sheets reading Cuts Cost Lives and Corporate Murder, and People’s Lives Don’t Matter Under Capitalism.

This, Theresa May, is what a people’s public inquiry looks like. The sign-writers and passersby talking in the streets around Grenfell have grasped a truth that cabinet ministers are still fumbling towards: whatever and whoever a judge finds at fault – this procedure or that subcontractor – the true causes of the failures go far wider. They lie in the way Britain is run.

While in Victorian Manchester, Friedrich Engels struggled to name the crime visited on children whose limbs were mangled by factory machines, or whose parents were killed in unsafe homes. Murder and manslaughter were committed by individuals, but these atrocities were something else: what he called social murder. “When society places hundreds of proletarians in such a position that they inevitably meet a too early and an unnatural death, one which is quite as much a death by violence as that by the sword or bullet; its deed is murder just as surely as the deed of the single individual,” he wrote in 1845, in The Condition of the Working Class in England.

Over 170 years later, Britain remains a country that murders its poor. When four separate government ministers are warned that Grenfell and other high rises are a serious fire risk, then an inferno isn’t unfortunate. It is inevitable. Those dozens of Grenfell residents didn’t die: they were killed. What happened last week wasn’t a “terrible tragedy” or some other studio-sofa platitude: it was social murder.

WINZ takes ‘let them eat cake’ to a whole new level – while white collar corporate criminals go free

NZ Govt taking ‘let them eat cake’ to a whole new level

This really takes the cake so to speak, bringing ‘let them eat cake’ to a whole new level! The Daily Blog reports on the reception a legally blind woman had from her case worker recently in Auckland. Firstly she says to her “you don’t look blind” then she pulls out a piece of paper, hands it to her, folds her arms and demands she read it and prove her wrong! These are the depths to which our government/corporate offices have sunk nowadays. Bonuses are earned (I’ve heard from a former WINZ worker) by those who manage to save the company funds.

There are humane workers at WINZ offices who respect people. But there are also many, unfortunately, like this poor specimen, who humiliate and denigrate their customers (forgetting that without their customers they would have no job themselves). These stories have been rolling out of late with the current homelessness crisis and people sleeping rough in the cities, or in their cars even. We’ve also heard stories of people with cancer and leukemia being told to look for work, the latter in particular, a man with two children to support, and at the time sick in his hospital bed.

White collar crime is responsible for far more tax dollars lost than benefit fraud

This attitude reflects the great disrespect our corporately biased system has for the lower income bracket particularly those without jobs and in this case, the disabled. White collar workers on the other hand, who defraud the system are treated very favourably, particularly by the justice system.
Dr Lisa Marriott, a Senior Lecturer in the School of Accounting and Commercial Law at Victoria University, has stated that:

“Benefit fraud cost New Zealand $22 million in 2010, or around $5 for each New Zealander. While it is difficult to get accurate figures for tax evasion, the Tax Justice Network estimates New Zealand missed out on more than $7.4 billion of tax revenue in 2011, or around $1,500 per New Zealander…

So the figures for tax evasion are phenomenal while they are relatively small for benefit fraud…”

On top of all this the corporate media makes much of the vilified beneficiary who cheats the tax payer of the said $5, whilst it seldom if ever mentions the white collar criminal who cheats the same for $1500. Indeed it quite blatantly misleads the NZ public with its failure to mention these stats, stirring up hatred and disinfo against the less fortunate in our midst.

John-Key-Swimming-Pool-Metro-2006
Prime Minister Key who doesn’t believe we have a homeless problem

So much for justice and equity in our once prosperous welfare state.  And let’s not forget, we once had full employment in this nation of ours. There was a job for everybody. And what happened to change that? It wasn’t the fault of people on benefits as the corporate media often subtly misleads us to believe. Let’s lay the blame squarely where it belongs…Rogernomics and the new neoliberal experiment … irresponsible governments that borrowed us into the big black hole we are now in. That has left an ever widening gap between rich and poor, and a crisis of homelessness that isn’t going to go away any time soon. Finally, keep in mind we are a corporation and corporations are about profits and not people.

Nestlé Denies that Water is a Fundamental Human Right – from the company with a disturbing health & ethics record on baby formula

The most basic thing you as a consumer can do to these behemoths like Nestlé, is boycott them. If all consumers failed to buy their many products they would not survive. They require your ‘consent’ in a sense to function, consent as in purchasing what they make. For more insight into this global takeover of the world’s water supplies read Maude Barlow’s ‘Blue Gold’ – also available on video. Check out our Water pages also.

Global Research, March 22, 2015

The current Chairman and former CEO of Nestlé, the largest producer of food products in the world, believes that the answer to global water issues is privatization. This statement is on record from the wonderful company that has peddled junk food in the Amazon, has invested money to thwart the labeling of GMO-filled products, has a disturbing health and ethics record for its infant formula, and has deployed a cyber army to monitor Internet criticism and shape discussions in social media.

This is apparently the company we should trust to manage our water, despite the record of large bottling companies like Nestlé having a track record of creating shortages:

Large multinational beverage companies are usually given water-well privileges (and even tax breaks) over citizens because they create jobs, which is apparently more important to the local governments than water rights to other taxpaying citizens. These companies such as Coca Cola and Nestlé (which bottles suburban Michigan well-water and calls it Poland Spring) suck up millions of gallons of water, leaving the public to suffer with any shortages. (source)

But Chairman, Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, believes that “access to water is not a public right.” Nor is it a human right. So if privatization is the answer, is this the company in which the public should place its trust?

Under Key’s watch Rape crisis centers closing and food banks doing a brisk trade – Green Party’s Gareth Hughes

“You delivered tax cuts the country couldn’t afford and leave us $120 billion in debt, a superannuation crisis, crippling student loans and a generation locked out of home ownership” Gareth Hughes, Green Party

Our country NZ that we like to think of as being a democracy, technically has been one in name only for quite some time now. We are actually a corporation, listed on the Security and Exchange Commission website (SEC) as such, with the Queen as the listed owner. Indeed our local District Councils are also companies, listed on the Dun and Bradstreet website. Check it out. A company is ‘any formal business entity for profit which may be a corporation, a partnership or individual proprietorship’.

This has ramifications for how they both function. If corporations and companies have profits for shareholders as their primary concern, then how can they be true to democratic aspirations, or truly fulfill that function? We’ve already been seeing the outworking of this incompatibility for quite some time now. Constantly corporate interests are overriding any care for the environment, in spite of Horizons and District Councils’ much touted mantra of ‘sustainable development’. Big business aka corporations are not interested in cleaning up the damage they inflict and they hold little interest in preserving the environment. At least not beyond lip service anyway. They’re claiming ownership of our water supplies to sell off shore for profit, and charging local farmers far higher prices to tend to our own agricultural concerns. In our own district corporate interests are wrecking our roads and trashing our waterways with our own local Rangitikei District Council turning a blind eye and on loading the expense to the rate payers. Sustainable?

So here is a scathing address to John Key on the state of our nation by Gareth Hughes of the Green Party at the opening of Parliament. Laid bare, the facts are astonishing … he speaks truth …

“Hungry kids up, inequality up, pollution up, debt up, housing costs up, electricity costs up, foreign ownership up, corruption up ….”

Homelessness is a growing problem in NZ, and the government continues to sell off our state housing stock, the former pride of our [once] Welfare State
Other insights included:

  • Once you attacked the nanny state of efficient lightbulbs but then presided over the most wide reaching mass surveillance state in our country’s history
  • Our most poll-driven PM ever, yet after all these years we still don’t know what you stand for
  • Scientists have been ridiculed and silenced and NGOs have had their funding and voice cut
  • You delivered tax cuts the country couldn’t afford and leave $120 billion in debt, a superannuation crisis, crippling student loans and a generation locked out of home ownership.
  • After selling our assets you are now selling out our sovereignty to corporates and the Hollywood industrial complex
  • You grew up in a state house but now that you’re on the 9th floor you’re even selling them too
  • 300,000 kids growing up in poverty
