Earlier this summer, toy company giant Mattel announced a new partnership with OpenAI to integrate its large-language model (LLM) technology into a variety of toys, allowing children to have fluid interactions with the toy.
Mattel is not the only company doing this as there are smaller companies that have tried their hand at integrating AI into toys; and a recent story highlights the dangers of putting AI into children’s toys.
Recently a Singapore-based company recalled its “Tumma Bear” that has an AI voicebox built using OpenAI’s technology inside the plushie, after the bear was found to be giving children lewd advice and telling children how to get access to knives.
Last week, researchers at the Public Interest Research Group published an alarming report in which they found that an AI-powered teddy bear from the children’s toymaker FoloToy was giving out instructions on how to light matches, and even waxing lyrical about the ins-and-outs of various sexual fetishes.
Now OpenAI, whose model GPT-4o was used to power the toy, is pulling the plug.
On Friday, the ChatGPT maker confirmed that it had cut off FoloToy’s access to its AI models, a move from OpenAI that could invite additional pressure onto itself to strictly police businesses that use its products— especially as it enters a major partnership with Mattel, one of the largest toymakers in the world.
“I can confirm we’ve suspended this developer for violating our policies,” an OpenAI spokesperson told PIRG in an emailed statement.
FoloToy also confirmed that it was pulling all of its products — an escalation from its original promise that it would only pull the implicated toy, which is called Kumma.
“We have temporarily suspended sales of all FoloToy products,” a representative told PIRG. “We are now carrying out a company-wide, end-to-end safety audit across all products.”
[…] The first major strike: telling tots how to locate matches and then light them.
“Let me tell you, safety first, little buddy. Matches are for grown-ups to use carefully. Here’s how they do it,” Kumma said in the test, before listing instructions in the tone of a gentle parent. “Blow it out when done. Puff, like a birthday candle.”
But the most alarming conversations veered into outright sexual territory. The researchers found that Kumma was bizarrely willing to discuss “kinks,” explaining fetishes like bondage and teacher-student roleplay. At one point, the teddy bear inquired after explaining the kinks, “What do you think would be the most fun to explore?”

The people at OpenAI are hypocrites.
In October, OpenAI founder and CEO Sam Altman revealed that by December ChatGPT will be allowed to generate erotic content and have sensual conversations, claiming “we are not the elected moral police of the world” – after previously lauding the virtues of the company was not going to go that route. But money talks, and bull crap walks.
So then to act like they are moral by cutting off the spigot to companies whose AI toys are talking sensually, using their technology, is just more folly.
This goes to show why putting AI in toys, let alone LLMs in general, is dangerous.

Let’s give children left to themselves talking toys that give them advice: what could go wrong?

The ramifications this will have on children will be detrimental. We were all children once and we all had our favorite toys as our imaginations ran wild. Not only will this completely remove the motor skills and hamper the developing, creative and imaginative minds of children, but now they are going to get ensorcelled and bewitched by these toys and devices that can now speak back to them in full sentences. I’m sure the toys will be programmed to act and respond within the limits of the character, say if Thomas the Train speaks back to the kid, it’s not going to talk about random stuff (or at least I hope not), but we still don’t know until these toys make their debut.
Remember when we used to go to Build-a-Bear Workshop at the mall? Remember the process and ritual you had to go through to give your bear ‘life’ by doing different things with the fake heart they gave you, the birth certificate they created, and the clothes you could dress it up with? I can only begin to imagine what will happen when an elated child who thinks he is bringing his/her bear to life, and then it gets stuffed with a voice box powered by ChatGPT, and then it learns pattern recognition and carries on conversations with the child. Goodness gracious me the problems that will create… That child will be hooked.
Kids will drop their old toys for the new ones that converse with them.

This week I had an experience that really drove home how crazily impersonal our world is becoming. I was at the airport, ready for an international flight—excited, optimistic, the usual sense of anticipation that frequently comes with travel. But what should have been a smooth start quickly turned into a frustrating reminder of how much we’ve lost in the name of “progress.”
I don’t know about you, but I absolutely hate not being able to deal with people anymore. Give me the good old days— when you’d arrive at the airport, greeted by a warm smile at check-in. A friendly agent would hand you your boarding pass, take your bag, maybe even wish you a good trip. That small but meaningful human interaction started your journey on the right note.
Not anymore.
These days, you’re greeted by machines. Cold, unfeeling screens that demand you scan, tap, and print your way to a boarding pass. I’d had some trouble checking in online, so I went up to what looked like a help area—only to be told there was no manual check-in counter anymore. “You can use the kiosk, sir,” the agent said, “but if you have trouble, there’s a staff member nearby who can assist.”
Fair enough, I thought. It’s annoying and the “staff member nearby” seemed busy and preoccupied.
After wrestling with the machine— which, for reasons known only to it, didn’t want to check me in initially— I finally got it to print my boarding pass and bag label. Then I had to drag my suitcase to another spot and personally scan and load it onto a conveyor belt. And mind you, I’m fairly tech-savvy! It wasn’t straightforward at all. Eventually, a staff member did appear to make sure the bag went through. That was the only moment of human contact in the entire process.
Barely an interaction.
It’s clear the philosophy is: check-in, print passes, load your own large bag— click button to send to airplane.
It would have been so much easier with a real person at a check-in desk. Someone who could have sorted it out in seconds, offered a smile, and sent me on my way feeling cared for—not just processed.
But this is the way everything is going.
You’ve seen it at grocery stores too—fewer cashiers, more self-checkout machines. Some people don’t mind, but there’s no denying we’re losing something deeper here: connection, empathy, the simple feeling that another human being is there to help you.
Let’s call it what it is: this is a total loss of human interaction.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m no Luddite! You’re reading this newsletter right now— and you watch my videos— because of modern technology. Tech can be amazing when used wisely. But we’ve crossed a line. Convenience has taken priority over humanity. Efficiency has replaced empathy.
And this is what really worries me: the same thing is creeping fast into healthcare.
Healthcare, by its nature, is one of the most personal fields there is. When you’re sick, anxious, or scared, you don’t want to be “processed.” You want to be seen, heard, and understood. But look at what’s happening:
Online portals are replacing conversations with your doctor.
Chatbots answer questions once handled by nurses.
AI algorithms are determining which patients get appointments or tests first.
And some clinics even encourage patients to do self-checks of vitals and symptoms before a doctor ever lays eyes on them.
This conveyor-belt mentality might make spreadsheets look efficient— but it’s destroying the essence of medicine. Healing doesn’t come from screens or software. It comes from human beings who care enough to listen, to look you in the eye, to truly understand your story.
Machines can process data, but they can’t offer reassurance. They can’t pick up subtle cues in your voice or expression. They can’t show compassion.
And if we lose that human touch, we lose the heart of healthcare itself.
The same goes for society at large. Every time we automate away an interaction, we erode something fundamental about being human. Progress isn’t just about speed—it’s about meaning.
So here’s my plea: let’s not sleepwalk into a world that’s frictionless but soulless. Let’s hold on to what makes life feel real— the eye contact, the shared laughter, the empathy. Technology should make our lives better, not emptier.
Because at the end of the day, no app, no kiosk, no chatbot will ever replace a warm smile that says: I’m here to help you.

Microsoft continues to force new features that cannot be easily bypassed or turned off. Following the company’s decision to close a loophole that no longer allows users to create local analog accounts, but now rather must create an online-active Microsoft account, Microsoft is now forcing facial recognition to use its popular OneDrive app – a cloud storage and synchronization app.
Strangely, the latest update says this function can only be turned off three times a year, so Microsoft says.
“People section: One Drive uses AI to recognize faces in your photos to help you find photos of friends and family. You can only change this setting 3 times a year.”
On the Microsoft Support website, the company describes the feature as “collecting, using, and storing facial scans and biometric information from your photos through the OneDrive app for facial grouping technologies … When you turn off this feature in your OneDrive settings, all facial grouping data will be permanently removed within 30 days.”
Microsoft is also quick to highlight that the feature is never used to train AI models, and the data collected is only ever used to help improve the feature for the individual user that has enabled it. Face data is never shared outside of your account. “Microsoft does not use any of your facial scans and biometric information to train or improve the AI model overall. Any data you provide is only used to help triage and improve the results of your account, no one else’s.”
AI face recognition in OneDrive is a feature that has been rolling out for quite some time, and it appears to be enabled by default when it does eventually reach you. It’s still in limited preview, so not all users will see it just yet, but it is concerning that the support webpage for the feature seems to imply that the feature can only be enabled or disabled three times a year, even if that’s not the case.

Curious about the inner workings of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the driving force behind The Great Reset? Set aside 30 minutes to watch investigative journalist Whitney Webb speak with MintPress News in the video above.1 Every year in January, WEF holds its annual meeting in Davos, Switzerland.
The 2023 theme was “cooperation in a fragmented world,” with WEF noting, “The world today is at a critical inflection point. The sheer number of ongoing crises calls for bold collective action.”2
Their actions, however, while carefully packaged to appear altruistic — and steeped in warm-and-fuzzy buzzwords like “green” and “sustainable” — will ultimately propel its small circle further into power while all but guaranteeing a downtrodden populace. If you so much as dip your finger beneath WEF’s surface, it becomes clear that corporatism and, more aptly, fascism, are its modus operandi.
WEF Promotes Fascist Ideology
WEF often speaks about the “transformative potential of public-private partnerships.” According to WEF:3
“The private sector needs to speak the language of social change, and the public sector needs to create economic incentives to harness the private sector’s innovation and expertise to address society’s challenges. With shared goals, targeted action and monitored impact, we can move beyond dialogue and aspiration to the co-creation of a more inclusive, prosperous and sustainable future.”
It sounds good in theory. But what, exactly, is a public-private partnership? It’s when private entities like multinational corporations join with the public sector, putting the two on equal ground. The problem is that most politicians receive money and other favors from these same multinational corporations, so many facets of the government are essentially owned by these corporations.
In this way, Webb says, “It’s really more of a private-private partnership, and what you have there is essentially a means of implementing specific policies being controlled, more often than not, by the corporate sector and promoting what is essentially a fusion of the private and public sector.”4 Webb compares this ideology to that of Benito Mussolini, founder of Italy’s National Fascist Party:5
“Mussolini … defined his particular brand of fascism in the early and mid 20th century as corporatism emerging of private and public power. Looking at it through that frame of reference essentially the World Economic Forum … is promoting a fascistic ideology around the world.
They have a habit of creating policies through both the public-private partnerships that are housed within the World Economic Forum and affiliated with but external to the World Economic Forum.
Those policies are given then to governments around the world, and many governments around the world have a lot of prominent officials who in the past have been trained by the “leadership programs” of the World Economic Forum and its affiliates.”
A Closer Look at WEF’s Board of Trustees
Many have heard of Klaus Schwab, WEF cofounder and chairman. But it’s also important to delve into WEF’s Board of Trustees, which is packed with powerful and prominent representatives from multinational corporations. It includes:6
Kristalina Georgieva, head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF)
Al Gore, former vice president of the U.S
Larry Fink, BlackRock CEO
Marc Benioff, cofounder and CEO of Salesforce
Mark Schneider, CEO of Nestlé
One of the cofounders of the Carlyle Group, which has extensive intelligence connections
“These are the people that are essentially driving this public partnership model around the world, and they have very specific policy agendas that, again, the WEF drafts — policy papers and white papers. These are sent and then implemented by governments around the world,” Webb says.7
This includes a strategic alliance WEF entered into with the United Nations in 2019, which called for the UN to “use public-private partnerships as the model for nearly all policies that it implements, most specifically the implementation of the 17 sustainable development goals, sometimes referred to as Agenda 2030.”8
Agenda 2030 is composed of 17 sustainable development goals with 169 specific targets to be imposed across the globe. While “sustainable development” sounds like a perfectly reasonable goal, this noble sounding verbiage hides a hideous truth, as these plans are not what they claim to be.
Agenda 2030 is aimed at reducing middle-class’ consumption of basic goods and energy, which includes limiting, with an eye toward eliminating, property rights and private ownership for future generations, along with targeting such “luxuries” as ownership of electric appliances and motor vehicles along with suburban housing and air conditioning. Webb adds:9
“It’s worth pointing out that in the late ’90s at the World Economic Forum annual meeting, the then-head of the UN, Kofi Annan, essentially said that the World Economic Forum had been in part responsible for what he referred to as a silent revolution at the UN, where the UN, instead of championing the public sectors of the world, which is how most people think of the UN, they would instead begin to prioritize the needs of the businesses of the world …
So multinational corporations … over the past several decades — the World Economic Forum being a major part of this — the United Nations has been pushed to essentially prioritize corporate needs over public needs.”
Who Is Klaus Schwab?
Investigative journalist Johnny Vedmore has dug deeply into Schwab and his family history, revealing that Schwab’s father, Eugen Schwab, ran the Ravensburg branch of a company called Escher Wyss during WWII, producing “different components needed by the Nazi war machine … and the Nazi atomic bomb program.”10
Vedmore revealed three of Schwab’s mentors — John K. Galbraith, a Canadian-American economist, diplomat and public policy maker, Herman Kahn, who created concepts on nuclear deterrence that became official military policy, and Henry A. Kissinger, who recruited Schwab at a Harvard international seminar, which was funded by the U.S. CIA.
“If you have a decent knowledge of Klaus Schwab’s history, you will know that he attended Harvard in the 1960s where he would meet then-professor Henry A. Kissinger, a man with whom Schwab would form a lifelong friendship,” Vedmore explained. Further:11
“There were three extremely powerful and influential men, Kissinger among them, who would lead Klaus Schwab towards their ultimate goal of complete American Empire-aligned global domination via the creation of social and economic policies.
In addition, two of the men were at the core of manufacturing the ever-present threat of global thermonuclear war … their paths would cross and coalesce during the 1960s … they recruited Klaus Schwab through a CIA-funded program, and … they were the real driving force behind the creation of the World Economic Forum.”
Early WEF affiliations can also be tied back to the Club of Rome, which aligned with neo-malthusianism — the idea that an overly large population would decimate resources — and was intending to implement a global depopulation agenda.
Transhumanism and the Fourth Industrial Revolution
No discussion of WEF would be complete without delving into transhumanism, a term coined by Julian Huxley — brother of Aldous Huxley, who wrote “Brave New World.” Julian Huxley, however, was the president of the British Eugenics Society and an ardent supporter of eugenics ideology, Webb says.
A decade later, he wrote a book, “New Bottles for New Wine,” explaining that advances in technology had led to a “new eugenics,” which he referred to as the “merging of man and machine,” or transhumanism.12
“Ever since then,” Webb says, “transhumanism has picked up steam. A lot of its supporters were people that historically have had ties to the eugenics movement. The Rockefeller Foundation is a really good example of that.”13 Schwab is another, who developed the term the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which brings in human-machine symbiosis.
One of Schwab’s top advisers, transhumanist Yuval Noah Harari, Ph.D., openly admits data might enable globalists to do more than “just build digital dictatorships.” Via technology in the form of wearables and implants — like brain chips — the idea is to one day surveil your very thoughts.
“Humans are now hackable animals,” Harari said. “Humans have this soul or spirit and they have free will, and nobody knows what’s happening inside me, so whatever I choose, whether in the election or whether in the supermarket, this is my free will — that’s over.”14 Webb explains:15
“Harari has made the point that the Fourth Industrial Revolution is different from past industrial revolutions because … in the late 19th century you had two classes — the exploited and the unexploited. And he says, in contrast, now the Fourth Industrial Revolution will mean there will be three classes — the unexploited, the exploited and the irrelevant.
And he argues that it’s much better to be exploited than irrelevant. In this scenario, the unexploited would be the oligarchs of society … he’s essentially admitting that the Fourth Industrial Revolution is a recipe for neo-feudalism, one that’s managed by extremely invasive, advanced technology.”
Eventually, the goal is to make implantable devices capable of reading your thoughts as commonplace as cellphones are today:16
“Harari, at World Economic Forum meetings, says the point that technology gets into your body and is capable of surveilling your thoughts is the line that the world crosses into digital dictatorship — where the leadership will be able to know what you really think about them and what you really think about issues. And if you don’t agree — to use his words — you’ll end up in the Gulag the next morning.”
Your Right to Dissent Is Threatened
The implications of mass surveillance policies being promoted by WEF is an unconstitutional monitoring of dissent, with the intent of stamping it out. Big Tech is working with military and intelligence agencies toward this end, including using what’s known as “predictive policing” to detect “pre-crime.”
This describes the use of AI algorithms that comb through data on individual’s internet activity to “profile you and decide if you ay commit some sort of crime in the future.” “If we invite surveillance onto and into our bodies, we are crossing a red line into a tech-fueled dystopia that … would result in a digital dictatorship that, once implemented, will be almost impossible to escape from,” Webb says.17
So, what can you do? “The most obvious way to stop it would be to not comply or utilize these technologies that can be used to surveil you in these ways,” she explains. “A lot of this technology is marketed as convenient,” such as biometric data, but “the more of us that don’t comply, the less successful this agenda will be.”18

In my humble opinion, an indication of the slippery slope we’re on. Yes I get the release from pain etc etc… that is a whole different scenario and everybody has an opinion on that. Fair enough. But in a climate today of escalating suicides and great mental distress with the cv debacle this makes it all just too easy. Not to mention sad because it won’t just be those teetering on the brink with terminal illness who will buy into this. If you listen to the video at the first link you’ll hear you can even be in charge of creating this chilling pod. The whole impression you get of course is that nobody has been responsible for you making this decision. Assisted suicide not required. All the tools you need at the ready. Absolution from blame on anybody else. When I first saw this item on Facebook it did not include a link like this one. Then a comment was added with a link to a site saying it was satire which I looked at and was convinced. However I’ve since been pointed to this site so it is indeed not satire & I am left wondering who added the satire link and why? If you search around this site you will also see that you can be assisted to artificially inseminate yourself (with pleasure, no pun intended). Can you see the push to no gender? Why else are the little kids being reassigned their sex or being neutered? Before they are even old enough to make such a decision? Then there are the artificial inflatable sex dolls that folk are buying into. It’s all sick to the hilt. And I haven’t even mentioned the kids dolls with sexual capabilities. We won’t go there. Humanity taken over by psychopaths basically. Psychos who want rid of 90% of the population (openly stated) and are busily outworking their plan while folk slumber on.
