Germany to issue coronavirus “immunity certificates” to allow the quarantined to re-enter society

German researchers plan to introduce coronavirus ‘immunity certificates’ to facilitate a proper transition into post-lockdown life, as Chancellor Angela Merkel’s handling of the crisis has led to a boost in the polls.

The antibodies will indicate that the test participants have had the virus, have healed and are thereby ready to re-enter society and the workforce. The researchers plan to test 100,000 members of the public at a time, issuing documentation to those who have overcome the virus.

The researchers will use the information to determine how to properly end the county’s lockdown, including re-opening schools and allowing mass gatherings.

Terrorism – “Violence, or the threat of violence, carried against civilians as a means of coercion, often for political reasons” – The Oxford English Dictionary – There are no words to describe or to justify the actions of these mentality inept state sponsored shitstains. All I can say is to hell with the psychopath masquerading as the Premier of NSW, along with the low life thugs, morons and child abusing sociopaths she employs as “police”. These people deserve no respect nor obedience. Such gangs of uniformed lawless thugs are a danger to society and should not be free to roam the streets terrorizing others. This is also why protesting on the streets is the wrong approach. The best form of protest is non compliance and community support at a local level. Don’t “protest” just Disconnect! “They did not like our incriminating articles on our blog: earthlyfireflies.org. They kept us hostages without communication even with each other. They released one of us after he declared going for dry fast after 5 days, and kept the other one indefinitely, just transferred her to a health department with a guard, she is going die there. Even our own bodies do not belong to us, all government controlled.

We are fasting to death. This is a manifestation that human spirit – God’s spirit in us – is stronger then government control. ”  https://153news.net/watch_video.php?v=W13MAWH7O786

This Is What Australia Does To Mothers And Their Children Who Protest Against Tyrannical Lockdown

1Screenshot_2020-05-10 Tasha Dāvid on Twitter This is what Australia does to mothers and their children who protest against [...]

See the video at twitter of a young mother being arrested by several police officers, one moving in front of the filmer’s camera … what’s to hide you would have to ask? For one the little child towards the end, kicking and screaming, traumatized at his/her mother being removed in such a fashion. (Mamas I admire your zeal but please don’t protest with your kids in tow … get a minder & spare them this trauma that will likely last them a lifetime). The police state if you hadn’t noticed is rising and fast. See the Canadian incident posted today also. That couple were protesting in their own home and blogging apparently, according to their written piece. In NZ since the changed gun laws police have been paying weird visits to people, asking them if they know why they’re there, traumatizing children as well. We basically live in a pretend democracy. Have done for some time. When the people’s non compliance goes a little too far, out comes the law enforcement, helped by the military if necessary (remember Bastion Point? The two Te Urewera, Tuhoe raids?) It’s been going on a long time and the state is currently ‘tolerating’ way less than it used to.  Free speech is now considered a crime. We have increasing signs of tyranny. EWR

Warming you to Big Brother – NZ ‘considers’ spending $100m on a contact tracing ‘CovidCard’

Contact tracing, the new repackaged Big Brother, is (probably) coming to a place near you. Your corporation is just ‘considering’ it mind, that is ‘code’ for ‘done deal’. Remember this article on the microchip ID citing NZ author, the late Barry Smith?

During the 1980s, three mysterious ads in the Sydney Herald foretold Australia’s current micro chipping of its citizens

…and the first image below here? John citizen. (It appeared interestingly in an Australian newspaper in 1984 with no explanation … following an intro image in 1983). At the time Henry Kissinger (who called recently for a global government to manage the covid pandemic) was in Australia discussing the introduction of eftpos. Curious to say the least. (All info in the article). Note the Fabian Socialists’ aka globalists’ modus operandi is to introduce the ‘idea’ packaged as, ‘we might’ or ‘we’re considering’ … that gets the idea into your head … then when they do do it you’re already warmed to it. Note particularly in the article that Jenny Shipley flatly denied in ’91 that NZ was ‘considering’ a universal Smart Card debunked by David Lange who said he’d seen it & they’d been working on it at the time for four years. You really can’t trust our politicians to tell the truth. Honestly. They’re all under the thumb of globalism. (And we got our photo ID in 1999 in the end with the photo drivers licenses).

So one pandemic has achieved total world wide surveillance already (not to mention police-state -like control) I’m sure there’s more to come. Remember this incident last year on surveillance & spying? (They were spying on envirowatchrangitikei!) If you’ve followed this site for some time you will get my drift. If not do read at the links above on the publicly announced new world order (George Bush Sr 1991), on the well documented Agenda 21 now 2030 (both at the main menu) and (if you’re from NZ, the guinea pig country) Agenda 21/30 in NZ.   EWR

A private sector proposal to produce and distribute five million Bluetooth-enabled credit card-sized contact tracing tools at a cost of $100 million is one of “a wide variety of technological solutions to contact tracing”, a spokesperson for the All of Government Covid-19 response team has confirmed.

The idea, branded CovidCard, is one of a handful that the Government is considering as it moves to settle on a digital solution for contact tracing.

Newsroom understands that the lead candidate remains a Ministry of Health-developed version of Singapore’s TraceTogether app, but flaws in the rollout and operation of the smartphone app in Singapore have led to the CovidCard as a potential alternative.

‘Contact tracing’ – they are repackaging Big Brother

They are really good at repackaging aka rebranding. You need to be to sell an unpleasant truth. They did this with NZ’s Rogernomics, calling ‘wrecking your country’ ‘restructuring’. They did it with 1080 poison, rebranding it with a nicer fancier name. Or alternatively remember the old song about a spoonful of sugar making the medicine go down? If you still trust these guys you deserve all they have planned. EWR

New Zealand Police Can Bust Into Your House & Do Anything They Think is Reasonably Necessary To Enforce Lockdown

From armstrongeconomics.com

In New Zealand, civil liberties have been suspended and may not return. The new police powers during the Covid-19 alert level 4 lockdown reveals authorities have the power to set up roadblocks and random checkpoints. However, they also have the power to bust into your house “enter, remain and inspect” any household or office that is suspected of housing an unsanctioned gathering. The new guidance, recently released by the police, revealed that under alert level 4 police may do “anything reasonably necessary, including the use of force, to compel, enforce, or ensure compliance” of the lockdown measures.

New Zealand becoming police state: Covid-19 lockdown to be taken seriously, but reporting neighbors & abuse of power goes too far

This article from RT.com is pointing out what many Kiwis know already going by the somewhat sinister visits some have been receiving… and for no particular purpose other than to ask do they know why they (the Police) are there? (Type ‘police’ in the search box for info on other visits). This all since the event we are not allowed to discuss in March 2019. Disturbing indeed. EWR

From rt.com
New Zealand – the “land of the long white cloud” – has evolved into a police state overnight amid the fallout of Covid-19, with people now being encouraged to dob in fellow Kiwis who flout lockdown rules.

While slow to apprehend Covid-19 initially and taking nonsensical measures such as banning travel from Iran while allowing travel from Italy unabated, the New Zealand government quickly changed tack and announced it was implementing a four-tier threat level to deal with the virus. It wasn’t long after this that the government gave New Zealanders a two-day period for everyone to tie up loose ends and prepare for what is essentially a nationwide lockdown (threat level four), which will continue for at least four weeks.

As part of this, a state of emergency was declared last week which saw the powers-that-be activate emergency legislation. This current state of affairs enables New Zealand’s National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to close or restrict access to roads or public places, regulate land, water and air traffic, and even evacuate and enter people’s premises, among other measures. The New Zealand police are responsible for maintaining law and order during the state of emergency, and have been given special powers to order any person to stop any activity that contributes to the emergency. As of today, the state of emergency has been extended by another seven days.

So, what? I hear you ask. The Covid-19 crisis is an unprecedented situation which can lead to immense death and suffering, and has already begun undertaking that course of action in Italy, Iran, Spain and even in the US. Calling New Zealand’s response a descent into a “police state” is nothing more than a conspiracy theory, aimed at fueling and sparking more panic in an already panic-driven environment.

Well, perhaps you might want to tell that Victoria University’s associate law professor, Dean Knight, who said that with so much discretionary power, there is a very real risk that the discretion could be used in an arbitrary and discriminatory manner. Or how about University of Otago law professor, Andrew Geddis, who has questioned the current state of affairs in two separate op-eds, warning that police can useextreme and unprecedented” powers to constrain basic freedoms of movement guaranteed by the New Zealand Bill of Rights Act.

We could say the same of Radio New Zealand contributor Catriona MacLenna, who penned an open letter to the country’s police with the aim of making it crystal clear that “New Zealand is a democracy,” “not a police state.

We might also want to tell that to journalist Damian Christie. Christie was in the process of delivering video equipment to a client’s business with a letter firmly in hand to prove that what he was doing was regarded as being part of an essential service, his client being a large food producer. Despite producing this letter (and having no discernible legal obligation to do so), a police officer who stopped him began to yell at him and flat-out ignored the letter, even though we had been told that if we provide such a letter, we won’t experience any issues. According to the officer, however, Christie should only have left his house to buy medical supplies.

This is clearly untrue and, as Professor Geddis notes in his columns, has created much confusion about what we can and can’t do under the lockdown rules. I agree with Geddis that if there has been an instruction given to the police to apply these powers, then we need to see those instructions.

On top of all of this, the government saw fit in the most Orwellian way possible to set up an online mechanism for locals to “dob in” other fellow Kiwis who were flouting the lockdown rules. Within an hour of it being launched, over-zealous New Zealanders crashed the website with over 4,200 reports lodged. Police have also arrested a number of people for breaching the lockdown rules. I expect this number to climb somewhat over the next three weeks.

I don’t know how comfortable I am with a website where people can dob in other people without requiring any demonstrable evidence. I am also concerned as to what this precedent could achieve in the future. Perhaps the next lockdown won’t be because of Covid-19, but because of a different situation entirely. What if the next website is set up to dob in not flouters of the lockdown, but say, political dissidents?

We are always naive in thinking that this type of activity can never occur in New Zealand, even when the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) has been found to have spied on targets illegally; or that time the Snowden papers revealed that the GCSB was spying on the entire Pacific on a mass scale without the knowledge of its neighbors. How quickly New Zealanders seem to forget these facts, or perhaps simply turn a blind eye to them from the outset.

The emergence of New Zealand’s police state apparatus comes at an interesting time. The Court of Appeal just ruled last week that New Zealanders have no constitutional right to bear arms, following a failed legal challenge by the “Kiwi Party.” While denying that right, the government has been quietly rolling out an extensive armed police patrol trial which saw units deployed 75 times a day in their first five weeks (what on Earth for?)

Look, I get it. I take the Covid-19 crisis as seriously as the next person, and for that matter, the overarching principles of the lockdown requirements. But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t question power and the abuse of that power, even during a national and global state of emergency.

As Benjamin Franklin’s old adage goes: “Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” And they’ll probably end up losing both.

Posted today on rightminds.nz,  One wonders if the police have any interest in actual crime any more.  Who compiled this list of questions, which is sure to be a standard one for all suspected Jacinda government opponents? The location isn’t stated, but is probably somewhere in Auckland.

One of my friends and moderator on Right Minds, Matthew McCluskey, received a visit from the friendly local neighbourhood cops on Saturday night at 9pm. He’s allowed me to use his real name to provide some weight behind this bizarre story, as he usually performs his limited online activity under a pseudonym.

He was cleaning his Smith & Wesson M&P15-22 when the doorbell rang. There was a police detective at the door, with an armed escort waiting in the wings. He claimed to be doing a “follow-up check” on vetting, as Matthew had recently had his firearms licence approved. Which is rather strange…

Aussie Police to get AR-15 30-shot semi-automatic rifles… giving police snipers greater authority to shoot to kill

Growing trend isn’t it? Police armed to the teeth. Citizens on the other hand disarmed.

From theage.com.au

More than 700 police will be trained to use high-powered semi-automatic rifles, with frontline officers expected to take immediate action to confront terror attacks and active armed offenders.

Deputy Commissioner Shane Patton said on Wednesday that police will buy 300 AR-15 30-shot semi-automatic rifles, with the guns expected to be delivered by the middle of next year.

Police from the public order response team (PORT) and four regional hubs – Geelong, Ballarat, Morwell and Shepparton – will be trained to use the rifles, each valued at nearly $6000.

The semi-automatic rifles are part of an increasingly hard-line response to the threat of armed offenders which includes giving police snipers greater authority to shoot to kill.

NZ Police reveal new $20m body armour

Disarm the people. Arm the Police … body armour, guns, armoured vehicles, home visits to inquire as to political views. Something is not right with this picture. Three people recently shot by Police in as many weeks. Think what could be achieved with all of that money. Alleviate growing poverty and homelessness for starters. EWR

From odt.co.nz

Police Commissioner Mike Bush has today revealed new improved body armour will be delivered to all officers over the next three years.

Police have signed a contract with Cooneen Protection for the manufacture and supply of the new gear. Cooneen also provide body armour for London’s Metropolitan Police force.

Police are spending $20.7m over four years to make the replacements.

“It’s a significant investment but the safety of our staff is paramount,” Bush said.

“To keep communities safe, first police must keep themselves safe.

“So today I’m proud to announce we are investing in a new body armour system that will help keep police safe.

“With more than a million interactions with the public every year, the vast majority is New Zealanders engage with us appropriately. However, it’s unfortunately the nature of police work that some people want to harm us.”

Existing body armour remained fit for purpose while the new armour was introduced over the next three years, he said.

Both current and new armour meet international safety standards for stab and ballistic resistance.

Weapons of War On Our Streets: A Guide to the Militarization of America’s Police

By Ammo.com

The claim often heard from those attempting to pass more gun control legislation is that all they’re trying to do is get the “weapons of war off our streets,” but it’s simply untrue that “weapons of war” are available to the general public. You’d last about three minutes in a conventional war with an AR-15, even with one of the most aggressive builds you can get your hands on (that doesn’t mean it’s impossible for guerilla uprisings to defeat powerful enemies). The truth is that the only people with “weapons of war” on America’s streets are, increasingly, the police.

Thanks primarily to the Pentagon’s 1033 program which allows law enforcement agencies to get their hands on Department of Defense technology and the Bush-era War on Terror, American police have received a startling amount of heavy-duty, military-grade hardware. Between 1998 and 2014, the dollar value of military hardware sent to police departments skyrocketed from $9.4 million to $796.8 million.

And just as when “all you’ve got is a hammer, then everything looks like a nail”, militarized police have become more willing to use their new weapons when carrying out law enforcement tasks. For example, the number of SWAT raids in the United States grew dramatically from about 3,000 in 1980, to a whopping 50,000 SWAT raids in 2014, according to The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander.

To say that the militarization of the police is nothing new is to ignore America’s recent history as well as the long-standing model of a peace officer. As the police have militarized and the Pentagon backs major players in Hollywood, the focus has shifted from one who keeps the peace to one who enforces the law – and that’s an important difference.

What Is the Difference Between a Law Enforcement Officer and a Peace Officer?

The model for police, and the constables and sheriffs before them prior to the late 20th Century, was that of a peace officer. In many states, it’s not even true that police are law enforcement officers – even though it’s a term frequently used by the police and their fans in the “Blue Lives Matter,” “Thin Blue Line,” and “Back the Blue” movements.

It’s a subtle, but important, distinction: Is the role of the police to enforce the law or to keep the peace? Consider the difference between the police force of a typical American city and the fictional Andy Taylor of The Andy Griffith Show. The former is concerned primarily with enforcing the law for its own sake and catching as many “lawbreakers” as possible. The latter, on the other hand, is primarily concerned with keeping the peace. Sometimes that means looking the other way when laws get broken.

This isn’t simply a matter of how pleasant or unpleasant it is to deal with the police. Law enforcement officers might be writing parking tickets in the middle of a burglary epidemic due to their need to enforce all the laws all the time. Conversely, a peace officer is going to ignore a lot of low-level, habitual crime – even when there are clear victims (for example, vandalism or loitering) – because he emphasizes going out and catching violent and dangerous criminals. There’s no impulse to arrest a guy who habitually smokes weed on a street corner if he’s providing the police with valuable information leading to the arrest of violent criminals.

Peace officers might have the need for a sidearm and a shotgun, but they have little or no need for, say, a tank, to say nothing of the variety of nasty DARPA weapons police departments are increasingly wanting and getting.

The Origins of Militarized Police

Weapons of War On Our Streets: A Guide to the Militarization of PoliceBefore we begin talking about the militarized American police, it’s worth mentioning that United States law specifically prohibits the military from enforcing the laws in the U.S. That’s why we don’t have the Army enforcing the law, and also why we don’t have a military-style gendarmerie as is common in Europe. This law, the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, was passed after the removal of federal troops from the Southern states following the end of Reconstruction. With rare exception, the federal government is not allowed to use the Army or the Air Force to enforce the law and the Navy has strict regulations for both the Navy and Marine Corps regarding the use of either for domestic law enforcement.

However, this law has been somewhat undermined due to police forces becoming so much like the military, which began during Prohibition in the 1920s. Organized crime got its first foothold in American life thanks to the lucrative black market in liquor. This was also the golden age of bank robbery with figures like Bonnie and Clyde, Pretty Boy Floyd and John Dillinger becoming folk heroes. The Thompson submachine gun and the Browning Automatic Rifle were increasingly used by organized crime and the “stars” of bank robbery.

The Prohibition Era saw domestic police departments wielding automatic weapons for the first time. There was nothing nefarious about this from the perspective of local police departments. In fact, it was the police departments most regularly in contact with vicious organized crime, such as Chicago and Kansas City, who led the way in arming their officers with automatic weapons and armored vehicles. At least two rounds of ammunition, the .38 Super and the .357 Magnum, were developed with the express purpose of being able to penetrate the early bulletproof vests worn by gangsters in the Prohibition Era.

Overall crime increased by 24 percent during the first two years of Prohibition. This included a nine-percent increase in theft and burglary, a 13-percent increase in homicides, and a 13-percent increase in assault and battery. Overall, police department costs increased by 11.4 percent. However, because the police were busy fighting the scourge of demon alcohol, it was difficult for them to target crimes unrelated to this. In fact, a study of South Carolina counties that enforced Prohibition versus those who didn’t found a whopping 30- to 60-percent increase in homicides in the counties who enforced the law. All of this is according to Charles Hanson Towne in The Rise and Fall of Prohibition: The Human Side of What the Eighteenth Amendment Has Done to the United States.

This era of militarization drew to a close with the end of Prohibition itself. However, the militarization of police would resume again a few decades down the line.

“These visits are carried out as a result of police receiving information about concerning behaviour. Many of these are from members of the public who are being vigilant as we have asked them to be and have rightly passed their concerns on to police.”

Also in another news item:

“Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced on Thursday two more groups of semi-automatic guns would be classified as military-style semi-automatic firearms following Christchurch’s terror attacks.

  • Semi-automatic firearm that can be used in combination with detachable magazine (other than one designed to hold 0.22-inch or smaller rimfire cartridges), and capable of holding more than five cartridges
  • Semi-automatic shotgun capable of being used in combination with a detachable magazine that can hold more than five cartridges”

ARE YOU ON ‘THE LIST’?

By Carol Sawyer

Free speech is under threat in NZ.

monitoring-1305045_1280.jpgLike many of you, I was born into a New Zealand where people did not lock their doors. Now, many people have security lights, CCTV cameras, burglar alarms, and some are starting to have phones at the ready to video armed policemen coming to their homes.

I am posting up all the links I have so far on these events in the last couple of weeks. I am sure there are more than these… this will be the tip of the iceberg.

What we know:

We know that the police have a list of at least 100 people they are watching.. for what we don’t quite know. They won’t tell us. (I am sure the number will be higher than 100 though). Here is an interview about this by Sean Plunket with Stephen Franks of the Free Speech Coalition on May 8, 2019:

At least two people, who have committed no crime other than to own an AR15, have had 14 and 30 armed police, respectively, arrive at their door unannounced. It appears they bought these guns in the rush of people buying the guns before the legislation changed and they were banned. Gun City reported a rush on sales, so these two are two of many. They were presumably not planning to commit mass murder! There is an amnesty on these guns until September 30th. Maybe it doesn’t apply to guns bought since the massacre. This seems unclear. I have asked gun-owners and no-one seems to know.

The stories of these two people are here:

https://www.stuff.co.nz/…/police-seize-gun-collectors-firea…

https://waikanaewatch.org/…/05/10/more-mad-government-ant…/…

https://www.odt.co.nz/rural-life/rural-people/claim-police-raids-over-top?fbclid=IwAR201eoqj1M5GN0F-alVkUNpy2IoO7iDKimsfYceE7YviLUSXOJ-MxF76d0

https://envirowatchrangitikei.wordpress.com/2019/05/12/in-nzs-frenzied-quest-for-gun-seizures-a-12-yo-girl-is-still-shaken-after-30-armed-police-raided-her-familys-property-pointed-a-gun-at-her/?fbclid=IwAR1YXdEAk7DBHmhWyAZqOnVowX4Vq8_P1vgOpB81_AHF2JZHGYTLVTUSk48

As well as this, people who own no guns and have committed no crimes, have been visited by armed police – one of them by 15 armed police. The reason for one of the visits appears to have been that the man was making Youtube videos and the government didn’t like his political views.

Their stories are here:

https://www.facebook.com/napoleon.ardern/videos/121954895660812/

https://waikanaewatch.org/…/what-happens-to-those-who-spe…/…

So… some visits are about guns and some are about political views. They all seem to have one thing in common though. The people visited are being questioned by police about their political and religious beliefs… about what they think of Jacinda Ardern, about Trump, about Muslims and other religions, whether they have friends in ethnic minorities, and the like.

***************************************************

On May 10, 2019, I spoke to Travis Mills, Private Secretary ( Police ), about this matter. He told me, and I quote:

“It is highly unlikely that police would be questioning people’s political preferences. Who you vote for is not a matter for NZ Police.”

Therefore if this has happened, you need to lay a complaint with the Independent Police Conduct Authority ( IPCA). Phone 0800-503-728, or fill in an online complaint form at www.ipca.govt.nz

The NZ Police do need to tell us what The List is about, and what “misdemeanours” will cause you to end up on The List.
Anti-1080 people, including myself, have already been spied on by government agents. Here is the story that broke on the Spy Files, March 10, 2019 :

https://www.radionz.co.nz/…/doc-s-chats-with-thompson-and-c…

Presumably at least some Anti-1080 people are on The List, as well as Anti-vaccine people, and people who would like us to be One nation/ One people (that is now called “hate speech” by Justice Minister Andrew Little). In fact anyone who speaks out against government policies or Jacinda Ardern had better watch out.

The only thing George Orwell got wrong was the date!

In NZ’s frenzied quest for gun seizures a 12 YO girl is still shaken after 30 armed Police raided her family’s property & pointed a gun at her

“The worst thing was they pointed a rifle at my 12-year-old daughter who was picking up horse poo. They told her to put the fork down and walk towards them. She is still anxious and shaken. The whole family is.”

Why is it necessary, in the quest for seizing guns from adults to ‘protect the public’ (so we are told) to terrorize young children? How is that conducive to protecting the public, the rationale that is being given for this sudden strange turn of events? Do these Police persons not have children themselves? Are they not trained to realize the trauma that this behaviour will embed in a child’s memory …. for life? This is the stuff of movies & it’s happening right here in New Zealand. It is not new however. This same behaviour occurred in 2007 when the Tuhoe people in Te Urewera (who are no strangers to illegal Police raids) were raided & similarly, armed offenders boarded a school bus, terrorizing little children.

They also detained a family with little ones, one of them a four year old, in their family garage with no food, water or toilet for NINE hours. To update yourself on that one, watch ‘Operation 8’ on Youtube.  If you listen to the first minute of the video you will hear a 12 year old child describing what happened:

I saw all these people in black, and this man had a dog and it was right behind me and, just saw all these lights and, these guns, and it was really scary. All of us had to get down on our knees and put our hands on our heads. They asked for my name, did I know anything about terrorist things, or if I’ve been in trouble with the Police … I just started crying, and crying and … my nan tried to come over to me and asked me if I was okay, and then the Policeman behind us said ‘Shut up, don’t talk to her’ and moved closer towards me and pointed the gun down at my head.   Oct 15 2007

Those children would not sleep in their bedrooms for three months after this event, they were so afraid. They all slept together in their lounge. Shame on the NZ Police. Protecting the public? Really? When you see images of these armed offenders (see image above) they are enough to strike terror into the heart of an adult let alone a child. It all really beggars belief. Was this all a warm up for today’s scenarios?

Do read the article below, it’s from mainstream’s Stuff even (which surely tells you something). Pontificate on what has happened to your country Kiwis. The article describes a similar raid on another person.

Police seize gun collector’s firearms in ‘over the top’ raid

stuff.co.nz

A community-minded contractor who dug the mass grave for victims of the mosque shootings for free says police went “way over the top” in raiding his house to seize his 11 firearms.

The colourful figure – who asked not to be named for security reasons but whose record of helping out people in the community and raising money is known to have endeared him to many – said about 30 police raided his west Christchurch block on April 2 about 5pm while he was still at work.

Some were Armed Offenders Squad members and others were in ordinary police uniform. A specialist search squad searched his house, outbuildings and a granny flat housing his 80-year-old mother.

Up to 30 police officers raided a gun collector's home and seized 11 firearms. (File photo).

“They even went through her underwear drawer. The worst thing was they pointed a rifle at my 12-year-old daughter who was picking up horse poo. They told her to put the fork down and walk towards them. She is still anxious and shaken. The whole family is.”

Police then rang him at work. He arranged to stand in the middle of the yard and asked the police to leave their guns in their vehicles.

“They still pointed their guns at me and made me walk towards them with my hands up. I got to them and said, “put that away before you hurt yourself”.”

He is now waiting for an explanation. He does not believe police were acting on a tip that he was dangerous. Police refused to comment, citing privacy – despite the man providing a privacy waiver.

“Unfortunately for privacy reasons we can’t respond to requests which seek to confirm whether specific individuals have made complaints to police, or if police have attended a specific address,” a police spokesperson said.

Some of the officers were from the Armed Offenders Squad, while others were in ordinary police uniform.

The man said: “I’ve seen them raid the Headhunters with less firepower than they raided us. It was just out of this world. Way over the top.”

He accepts police might have wanted a chat with him because after the mosque shootings, he had bought an AR15 rifle, from Gun City. The mosque shooter used an AR15 class rifle and they are now banned under new arms legislation.

rush of gun sales was reported in the aftermath of the March 15 mosque shooting after it was announced gun laws would change. The AR15 is amongst the most popular as a semi-automatic sporting rifle often used for deer, goat and pig hunting, as well as competitive target shooting.

“But all they needed to do was ring me and say we are coming around for a chat. If I was really up to no good I would have bought a firearm off the internet. Everyone knows that.”

The contractor said he had had a firearms licence since 1982 and had been shooting as a sport since he was 12.

He collected firearms and had two other AR15 rifles before the shooting.

When he bought the firearm, he thought he would be able to keep the gun under a grandfather arrangement where those who owned the guns before the law change would be allowed to keep them.

“It would have told a story.”

His confidence in the police had gone down to about zero, he said.

All his guns were confiscated in the raid and he is now trying to get them back.

“This didn’t need to happen. I’m not a criminal. They could have made a few other checks and seen I was not a risk.

He had two assault convictions from 35 years ago and had been out of trouble since, he said.

An Ashburton farm manager, who also declined to be named, told Stuffhe was also angry about the way he was treated by the police.

He was in his garage searching through his deep freezer shortly after eating lunch on Thursday when his wife told him there were some police officers coming up the drive.

“There were about three armed police that came out from the back of my section, and three more units pulled up at the driveway.”

Of the 14 police officers, eight were “heavily armed”.

The officers wanted to speak to him about the terror attacks, his views on police, Muslims and other religions. He was then asked if anyone was home.

“I said ‘no, my kids are at school’. Then they sent a team in to clear the house like in the movies, going into each room guns pointed clearing the house.”

The man said the officers told him the hour-long visit was initiated in part because he purchased an A-category AR15 from Gun City a day after the March 15 terror attack. His gun, which was being held in a secure safe, was seized, along with some other items including a scope and ammunition.

He told Stuff he travelled from Ashburton to Christchurch after the attack to buy the gun because he had always wanted one. His wife was planning on buying him one for his birthday in June, and was worried they would become harder to buy.

“It was probably the wrong decision but I thought if I don’t get one now I may miss the opportunity.”

He said he was not racist or anti-Islamic.

“I said so I’m not a fan but I understand there are good people out there, there are good Muslims. I’m not a fan of the religion but I’m not going to go out and kill people.”

He said the number of police officers was over the top and believed a call or visit from a local police officer would have been enough.

“I can’t understand why they needed that many armed police to come in here to ask me my views on this and then seize my gun.”

POLICE WITH GUNS, WITH NO DUE CAUSE, IS A NEW DEVELOPMENT IN NZ

By Carol Sawyer

Armed police banging on doors on Sunday mornings, to harass people with no due cause, is fascist and totalitarian. Police asking people what their views on Jacinda Ardern are, and on Trump, and whether they have ‘ethnic minority’ friends is out of order.

Jacinda Ardern is behaving more like an apprentice dictator than the PM of a democratic country, (if, of course, she is actually aware this is happening). It might be better to calm down and permit rational discussion – including the acceptance of differing points of view. Is there any rational talk in NZ any more?

People are understandably getting incredibly wound up about a number of issues related to freedom of speech. The events in Christchurch have thrown us all out of gear, as a country.

As Stephen Franks pointed out in an interview with Sean Plunket (MagicTalk Radio, 8 May, 2019) we can not and should not rely on the police to make us feel safe. Safety comes from the checks and balances of our society itself, when people trust each other and have bedrock beliefs in common.
Interfere with that and there will be problems.

Importantly, the police should not have lists of suspects without any explanation to the public of why they are suspects!

Chris Hedges: The Issue Before Us is Death

“The corporate forces that have commodified the natural world for profit have also commodified human beings. We are as expendable to global corporations as the Barrier Reef or the great sequoias. These corporations and ruling elites, which have orchestrated the largest transference of wealth upward in human history, with globe’s richest 1 percent owning half the world’s wealth, kneel, and force us to kneel, before the dictates of the global marketplace. They have seized control of our governments, extinguishing democracy, corrupting law and building alliances with neofascists and authoritarians as the ruling ideology of neoliberalism is exposed as a con. They have constructed pervasive and sophisticated systems of internal security, wholesale surveillance and militarized police, along with criminalizing poverty, to crush dissent.” — Chris Hedges, Confronting the Culture of Death

Britain makes it illegal to report on Tommy Robinson in prison – we are witnessing the death throes of democracy

29/5/18 Update:
I am not totally familiar, like the man in the second video, with the issues around this man’s arrest. There is much info being broadcast on alternative media, and not being in the UK it is difficult to make comment on those issues. The point of the post was the denial of freedom of speech. Time will tell on the rest of the situation. If you are in the UK please send any info you may have or feel needs airing on this.

28/5/18 The death throes of democracy people. Folk are outraged as they should be, it’s a canary in the mine warning really. As I’ve been repeating for ages now, it is part of the global plan, global governance. It is not a friendly village that’s envisaged people. As they would have you to believe. Were it a friendly village then you would not have this fascist u turn where all justice is denied & dissenting voices are shut down. The end game in reality is total global lockdown. If you’ve hitherto scoffed at this as fairy material, go and read Mike Adams’ exposé if you haven’t already. (And/or read our Agenda 21/30 pages & line up all the other things that are happening as we speak). Or if you’ve already read this info & didn’t believe it, read it again. Little by little, as frogs in the warming pot, they’ve slipped in the lies under the guise of sustainability. But, is there really anything green going on? Better read that ‘alternative’ info fast because it’s not too long before it will all be gone from the internet as well.

We are just a stone’s throw from martial law

Learn how the American Banking Cartel has you & your respective (once sovereign) nations by the short and curlies.  Observations here in these videos by Joe Imbriano from Fullerton California who is warning folk of imminent martial law & police state enforced restriction of your freedoms. There has been a blending world wide of the military & law enforcement & we have seen troops from world wide locations training together including in NZ, some resulting in violence. We’ve seen these exercises regularly now. We’ve also seen thuggery with DoC & their contracted security guards.

Police raids on the Tuhoe people NZ

Remember the Tuhoe raids people? This is all a show of force as these videos below highlight. Over kill of law enforcement designed to intimidate you.  With the Tuhoe raids a children’s school bus was boarded by police dressed in black gear with guns, terrifying little children. They also detained women & children in a garage for many hours without water, toilet or food. Watch that video at the link.  A Horowhenua man has also been the subject of alleged assault by Police, with local Council also cutting off his water supply. Don’t think it can’t happen here in NZ because it has & is already.

Note, the plans for America are the same everywhere. Agenda 21 now 30 is about total world control, and not the benevolent global village you’ve been led to believe, that some of us have now woken up to.
