A scathing post-market study on FDA-approved drugs conducted by some members of the American Medical Association has made it to the headlines. It concludes that almost “one-third of new drugs approved by U.S. regulators over a decade ended up years later with warnings about unexpected — sometimes life-threatening — side effects or complications.”
LATimes reports,
Researchers looked at potential problems that cropped up during the routine monitoring that’s done once a medicine has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration and is on the market. The results, published Tuesday, covered all 222 prescription drugs approved by the FDA from 2001 through 2010.
The 71 drugs that were flagged included top sellers for treating depression, arthritis, infections and blood clots. Safety issues included risks for serious skin reactions, liver damage, cancer and even death.
“The large percentage of problems was a surprise,” and they included side effects not seen during the review process, said senior author Dr. Joseph Ross, an associate professor of medicine and public health at Yale University.
While most safety concerns were not serious enough to prompt recalls, the findings raise questions about how thoroughly drugs are tested before approval, said drug safety expert Thomas Moore.
But Ross said the results suggest that the FDA “is kind of doing a great job” at scrutinizing drugs after approval.
New drugs are generally tested first in hundreds or even thousands of people for safety and effectiveness.
Surely, not one of those guinea pigs are their close relatives.
Among the drugs that were found to be life-threatening are Bextra, Raptiva, Zelnorm, and others:
… The study counted black-box warnings for dozens of drugs. These warnings involved serious problems including risk of death or life-threatening conditions linked with the drugs.
There were also alerts for less serious potential harms related to dozens of drugs. Among them: Humira, used for arthritis and some other illnesses; Abilify, used for depression and other mental illness; and Pradaxa, a blood thinner.
Three drugs were withdrawn because of the potential for death or other serious harm. They were Bextra, an anti-inflammatory medicine, because of incidence of heart problems; Raptiva, a psoriasis drug, which is linked to a rare nervous system illness; and Zelnorm, a bowel illness drug, which has been connected to heart problems. The #1 talking point of Big Pharma, Big Vaccine, the CDC, the AMA and the American Academy of Pediatrics when they try to justify the use of the neurotoxin aluminum (and mercury) in their vaccines is this one:
“humans shouldn’t be afraid of the small amount of either aluminum or mercury that is or has been in many human and animal vaccines.”
They say, truthfully, that aluminum is the third most common element in the earth’s crust, behind oxygen and silicone. Oxygen makes up about 47% of the earth’s mass. Silicon is second at 28%, followed by aluminum at 8%. They also say that aluminum may be just as harmless as oxygen and silicone and that humans are also exposed to aluminum in oral antacids and underarm anti-perspirants and that those products haven’t yet been “conclusively” proven to have caused “statistically-significant” health problems. They fail, of course, to mention that the “studies” that prove aluminum’s safety (and efficacy) were designed, performed and paid-for by the very industries that benefit from the unregulated, unexamined and widespread use of injectable aluminum in America’s over-vaccination schedules. It is important to note that the reason that aluminum has been used in vaccines for the last 80+ years is because it has been found to be an “adjuvant” (defined as “a substance that enhances the body’s immune response to an antigen.” An “antigen” is “a toxin or other foreign substance that induces an immune response in the body”. Interestingly, nobody really understands exactly how aluminum performs as an adjuvant, and there is a desperate search for other adjuvants because the vaccine industry understands just how toxic it is.

Chicago, Ill., Feb. 24, 2016 – A new report published in the journal Neuro-Oncology and funded by the American Brain Tumor Association (ABTA) finds that malignant brain tumors are the most common cause of cancer-related deaths in adolescents and young adults aged 15-39 and the most common cancer occurring among 15-19 year olds.
The 50-page report, which utilized data from the Central Brain Tumor Registry of the United States (CBTRUS) from 2008-2012, is the first in-depth statistical analysis of brain and central nervous system (CNS) tumors in adolescents and young adults (AYA). Statistics are provided on tumor type, tumor location and age group (15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34 and 35-39) for both malignant and non-malignant brain and CNS tumors.
“When analyzing data in 5-year age increments, researchers discovered that the adolescent and young adult population is not one group but rather several distinct groups that are impacted by very different tumor types as they move into adulthood,” said Elizabeth Wilson, president and CEO of the American Brain Tumor Association.
“For these individuals — who are finishing school, pursuing their careers and starting and raising young families — a brain tumor diagnosis is especially cruel and disruptive,” added Wilson. “This report enables us for the first time to zero-in on the types of tumors occurring at key intervals over a 25-year time span to help guide critical research investments and strategies for living with a brain tumor that reflect the patient’s unique needs.”

At 10 months of age, Kalel Santiago of Puerto Rico was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called neuroblastoma. He endured chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and surgery for two years—and survived. Then he was diagnosed with something permanent: severe autism that disabled him from speaking.
“While he was in the hospital, we noticed he didn’t speak at all and had some behavior that wasn’t right, like hand flapping, and walking on his toes,” his father Abiel Gomez Santiago told Yahoo News. “But we waited until he was 3 and cancer-free to look at his behavior.”
According to Yahoo,“He and his wife Gladys — also parents to two older boys, now 18 and 20 — did a cram course in educating themselves on autism. They tried various schools and therapies and eventually found impressive success with a unique surf-therapy school near their home.”
Eventually, the Santiago family stumbled upon a treatment of real potency and potential: CBD oil.

When it comes to corruption, IMF´s chief Christine Lagarde is on her homeground: The Guardian 17 Dec. 2015Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, is to stand trial in France over a multimillion-euro government payment to a controversial tycoon who supported former president Nicolas Sarkozy.
Lagarde, at the time Sarkozy’s finance minister, referred the long-running case to arbitration and signed off the payout.
Here are some of the things the IMF gets immunity from according to their Articles of Agreement:

US Pharma Johnson & Johnson Loses $110mn Talc Cancer Case

A court in St. Louis, Missouri has ordered the US pharmaceutical company Johnson & Johnson (J&J) to pay over $110 million to a Virginia woman, who claims she developed ovarian cancer after decades of using its talcum powder.
The verdict is the largest for J&J among nearly 2,400 current lawsuits accusing the company of insufficient warning to consumers about cancer risks connected to products containing talc.
Most of those suits have been filed in St. Louis. The company has already faced four previous trials, three of which resulted in $197 million verdicts against J&J and its talc supplier.
Lois Slemp won her case against J&J and Imerys Talc. She is currently receiving chemotherapy, as ovarian cancer diagnosed in 2012 has returned and affected her liver.
According to Ms. Slemp, cancer developed following four decades of using talc-based products manufactured by the companies, including J&J’s Baby Powder and Shower to Shower Powder.
This fine will of course be peanuts from their lunch money basically & will anything be done? Will they be made to withdraw the said product? I doubt it. And in the meanwhile millions of innocent folk who trust these corporations implicitly will be quietly killing their loved ones with what they think is kindness.

New Zealand New Potatoes Contaminated with Roundup

Just before you eat the new seasons lovely potatoes consider this.
I have spent the last 2 weeks feeling very unwell. Today I have been diagnosed with Roundup ( G2 which is the strongest) on my spleen and pancreas. If I had breathed this in it would have been on my liver. Therefore I have ingested it. Turns out that it is from new potatoes.
For growers to get top dollar they have to have their produce in the shops early in the season. To be able to harvest the crop they have to kill the green tops other wise it will block the harvester. You cant pick them with green tops.
If I hadn’t been treated I would have had a growth on my spleen affecting Red Blood Cell production which would have eventually led to Leukaemia.
Any wonder we have the highest cancer rate in the world if this sort of practice is allowed to exist.

If qualified mine rescuers are willing to voluntarily enter the mine to see if they can recover any bodies or remains then it seems to me they should be allowed to do so.
The problem for the Government is commercial liability should anything in a recovery attempt go wrong.
I’m sure liability could be waived by the volunteers.

The base is actually situated in Mahia on the East Coast of the North Island, however it was originally planned for the South Island at Kaitorete Spit near Christchurch, also near Birdling Flat and the Radar/Haarp Station there (more on NZ Haarp here and here). The length of time obtaining consents appears to have been the deciding factor about a change in tack. Rocket Lab noted one thing that prevented it from launching close to Christchurch which was the need for a cultural impact assessment from the council. The launch pad is stated in the following article to be, environmentally friendly, which is heartening indeed given our environment that masquerades as ‘clean and green’ still is in reality pretty much trashed. Mainstream media tends to not overly highlight the deaths of little children and their parents in the many global conflicts. It gives war a bad name and they, including our Government/corporation, prefer to re frame and name it as ‘defense’. The person “…..enquired as to when the first rocket will be launched and what assurances Council has that satellites launched won’t be used for spying or military activities…. Rocket Lab has installed the launch platform at the private orbital launch under development on Māhia Peninsula. The installation of the almost 50 ton platform is the final major step in preparing the site for the arrival of the first electron launch vehicle, scheduled to be tested in the coming months. The New Zealand Government has announced the development of a new regulatory regime for space and high altitude activities. It will ensure the development of a peaceful, safe, responsible and secure space industry that meets New Zealand’s international obligations.” SOURCE
Now that should put all of our minds at rest. The NZ Govt “will ensure the development of a peaceful, safe, responsible and secure space industry that meets New Zealand’s international obligations.”

Rocket Lab chief commits to protect environment
The company proposing a rocket launch pad on Canterbury’s coast says it is committed to protecting the environment.
Rocket Lab’s proposed site on Kaitorete Spit was officially unveiled this morning in front of Prime Minister John Key and representatives from the Department of Conservation.

You may well be asking, why a rocket launch pad?

On Saturday the remote site on Onenui Station was blessed and the lease agreement signed between Rocket Lab and the landowners — representatives of Tawapata South Incorporation.
So we in NZ are now third highest in the developed world for child poverty. We had 41K homeless last time I looked, and 33K empty homes in Auckland belonging to people who don’t even live here. This is the way of Neo-Lib economics. It doesn’t care about children, it doesn’t care about families, it doesn’t care about the vulnerable. NZ has spent $25 million on this pad, the country that is now a haven for the rich who seek to escape the fallout from their oppressive economic activity… and in light of all that, a rocket launch pad is great news. As was observed in several posts last year, the council’s bureaucratic elite spends huge amounts of Ratepayers’ money on expensive outside consultants, usually Auckland based. Their ideas are then turned into plans and pursued. Period.
There are multiple ‘consultation’ documents on different topics released each year, full of expensively produced fancy graphics, because there is a requirement under the Local Government Act (see this post) that the public are consulted. But it’s apparent that the most that can be expected from this process is minor tweaking. The substance will remain unchanged.
What happens after tens of millions of dollars are squandered on useless projects? No problem, they’ll just tax the Ratepayers even more to repeat that. In the ten years from 2006 to 2016 our own Rates including the water charges went up 61% — general inflation in that same time was 20%. A real increase of 41%.

New HPV vaccine promoted within the immunization schedule offers many unwanted side effects
The CDC recently released a new immunization schedule for the HPV vaccine for both adults and adolescents. New recommendations say the vaccine can be administered as young as 9 years old but with an average of 11 or 12 for the first dose.
However, the American College of Pediatricians (ACP) expressed serious concerns about Gardasil in January of 2016. The HPV vaccine has been linked with POF (premature ovarian failure, also known as premature menopause), as well as amenorrhea (absence of menstruation).
HPV vaccine side effects can be deadly
Most doctors are not aware of these potential complications, so incidents of this vaccine side effect could be even higher than reported. Gardasil also contains polysorbate 80, a compound linked with ovarian toxicity in experiments done with rats. Polysorbate 80 has also been connected with severe anaphylactic reactions, encephalitis and multiple sclerosis.

Not new news, nevertheless some people will not have heard about it. The Council corruption’s stacking up so fast it takes a bit of keeping up with.
The said company had “no track record in waste management ” … was not a registered company at the time it won the tender” … and “it registered with the Companies Office several months after securing the Franz Josef job”. Great stuff. So Westland DC wants a cake expert in charge of sewage? Or rather, is it a case of contracts for the mates?

I’ve added the subsequent developments on this issue as this was initially reported on March 15 this year. “Oops, it’s been put on hold guys … we got found out”.
And in fact the subsequent news items tell you it was a $10 million contract and in fact there were TWO. Now under investigation by the Serious Fraud Office we await the outcome. I’m not holding my breath in that we’re already considered corrupt under the latter’s watch so what are our chances for transparency this time? Makes for intriguing reading indeed.

A new business, run by a cake decorator, which had no track record in waste management won a Westland District Council project to build a $7 million sewage plant in Franz Josef, a Stuff investigation has found.
Techno Economic Services, which is based in South Auckland, won the council project in the middle of last year, despite never having provided waste management or construction services before. The company was not a registered company at the time it won the tender.It registered with the Companies Office several months after securing the Franz Josef job.

Environment Southland councillor sparks up after being shut down
Environment Southland councillor Robert Guyton has been shut down from speaking about a damning water quality report at a council meeting.
Councillors instead decided to speak about the issue at a closed workshop in which the public and media will not be invited.
Robert Guyton wanted to talk about a Ministry of Environment Report released on Thursday which says New Zealand’s lakes and rivers are coming under increasing pressure for reasons including land use.
The report was tabled at an Environment Southland committee meeting and Guyton noted the “strident” media coverage it had received that day, including calls from some quarters for an immediate reduction in cow numbers.
However, Environment Southland chief executive Rob Phillips said the issue would be better spoken about in a council workshop, with Cr Lloyd McCallum agreeing.
Guyton was not happy.
“I am rather puzzled why we aren’t allowed to speak about it now,” he said.
“We seem to be burying it in a workshop. What’s the purpose of this meeting,” he asked.
Phillips said the report was tabled at the meeting as a “heads up” for councillors and the item was not on the agenda.
He said it was appropriate to have a “more considered” discussion about the issue at a later date.
Cr Ross Cockburn, the committee meeting chairman, also said it was more appropriate to have it in a workshop at a later date, but Guyton voiced his opposition.
After the meeting, Guyton said he believed the water quality report should have been spoken about by councillors in the public forum so the public knew where the councillors stood.
“To shove it into a workshop which is public excluded, I think is wrong.”
“Southland people would like to know what their elected members are thinking on this issue,” Guyton said.
“If they are only getting the sanitised version they shouldn’t feel confident they are being well represented.”

In a shocking reveal, the Pepsi corporation admitted that its Aquafina bottled water is not purified water or spring water, but simply plain old tap water. The company will now be forced to change the labeling of the brand to reflect that it is just tap water.
Many informed customers choose bottled water because they are concerned about the quality of tap water, which is many times riddled with fluoride and pharmaceuticals. Sadly, we are now learning that in many cases, bottled water is actually not any better than tap water.

Meantime, Michael Feyen’s “popularity” on the street is INCREASING, as the “agendas” and behaviors of others is making them look less desirable in the Public Eye…. Most Mayors get a welcome at their first council meeting.
But the controversial mayor of Horowhenua Michael Feyen says he’s been met only with hostility.
“I had on that first meeting three notices of motion, that were put in, to not open the books, to not relitigate whether we sell the pensioner housing and to not relook at the building. Now they were all platforms that I stood that people want to be looked at and so they all voted 9-2 in favour and yet three of those councillors as I said at the public meeting so it’s nothing new, I wondered how they could vote on such matters when we had never even had council briefings, we had never had anything,” says Mr Feyen.
The nine councillors who voted against Mayor Feyen say they are adamant they will support him, when his ideas are worth supporting.

So as we’ve reported before, Council doesn’t want the books opened (what are they hiding?) Now the public isn’t welcome (according to one Councilor at least). Openness and honesty are two things the current new Mayor emphasized in his campaign. No wonder the old regime want him out. (They do, in case you hadn’t heard there’s a petition going around to oust the people’s choice). As William McGregor’s saying here, “if the H.D.C. was HONEST, UP-FRONT & RUN WITH “INTEGRITY”, there would simply be NO “REASON” to have to “vote” to have “the books” sealed, the building “consent” hidden, or anything else!” I wholeheartedly agree.
On the 22nd of August, 2014, 32,000 kilos of 1080 poison bait was cast across Mt Pirongia, near Hamilton. It was enough poison to kill 240,000 people, almost twice the population of Hamilton…
A previous 2007 drop across the mountain was “hailed a success” by Waikato Regional Council, despite farmers raising concern about contamination, including to drinking water.
The New Zealand manufacturer’s (owned by NZ Govt) 1080 poison label includes the following warnings –

“Toxic to terrestrial vertebrates.”
“Take measures to reduce of non-target animals being exposed to the toxin either through eating the baits or by scavenging the carcasses of poisoned animals.”
“Harmful to aquatic organisms.”
“Take all practicable steps to manage any harmful effects of a spillage including preventing baits from accidentally entering streams or waterways.”
“This product is toxic to wildlife. Birds and mammals feeding on carcasses of contaminated animals may be fatally poisoned.”
“Where practicable, the exposed bodies of all poisoned animals should be collected and destroyed by complete burning or deep burial in a landfill approved for hazardous substances. Dehydrated carcasses may remain dangerous to dogs or cats for an indefinite period. A single mouse poisoned by 1080 may contain enough poison to kill an adult dog.”
“Take measures to minimise the chance of baits accidentally entering any body of water.”
And … “Apply the product only as specified by label directions.” …
Flight charts released by the Department of Conservation reveal that 1080 poison was dropped directly into most streams and catchments, including to eight of the nine known water abstraction points. Poisoned carcasses have been left to rot in the streams, and animal welfare concerns have been raised. The Department of Conservation Mt Pirongia aerial drop, breached or ignored all of these warnings …
Vatican Radio last week charged that United Nations organizations promoting population control are using vaccines to surreptitiously sterilize women in Third World countries. The church, which operates 30% of Kenya’s health care facilities and has been providing health care in Kenya for more than 100 years, is not opposed to vaccinations. To the contrary, its health facilities have long been administering vaccines as part of its public health mission.

The policies became known as the ‘dead peasant’ or janitor policies because corporations took out insurance policies on millions of low-wage workers including janitors, without their knowledge or consent.”
At special risk are those working at close proximity to wireless computers, modems/routers and those compelled to handle and wear wireless communications devices, including two-way radios, cell phones and DECT cordless phone systems. Unlike wired systems, wireless surveillance and security equipment also inundates workspaces with perpetual and powerful microwave pollution.

Timaru primary school Grantlea Downs has opted not to allow a vaccine against Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) to be administered on its grounds.
South Canterbury District Health Board (SCDHB) chief executive Nigel Trainor raised the school’s stance towards the nationwide immunisation programme during a health board meeting on Friday.
Trainor said the school’s board of trustees had made the decision not to allow the students to be vaccinated against HPV on site.
“Unfortunately they never contacted us to have any sort of conversation about that so I’m not sure what happened or what inspired it.”
Board of trustees chairman Nigel Chapman confirmed the decision was made by the board. However, he could not confirm any other details until he had checked the minutes of the meeting when the decision was made.
If contracted, the virus could lead to increased risk of a number of cancers, including cervical cancer.
Confirming the identity of the school on Monday, a health board spokesperson said the decision to withdrawn from the DHB-led immunisation programme meant about 40 per cent of the school’s year 8 pupils would be immunised.
This school in my opinion has made an excellent choice here. The evidence against choosing this vaccine is becoming more than enough to consider avoiding it. Too many injuries. As of November 2013 there have been 31,741 reported adverse reactions to the HPV vaccine, and the position of the Pharmaceutical companies which make the vaccine, as well as the Department of Health and Human Services which holds patents and profits on the vaccine, is that they are all a coincidence. .
Call your Congressman and tell them you want an investigation into the HPV vaccine and the damage it is causing to young men and women.
“Not a Coincidence” is a campaign started by The Canary Party to address the medical community’s repeated excuse that the symptoms, too many experience, after vaccination are just coincidental. Seizures, fainting, rashes, allergies, GI dysfunction, loss of speech, etc, etc all labeled a coincidence. It’s time to end the excuses and start to listen to the injured and the parents of the injured. They deserve a forum to be heard, they deserve a voice, respect, attention, hearings and answers. They need a medical discovery process that uses their symptoms and their progression of illness in the process of finding treatments. All injured are worthy of being treated individually instead of disregarding their many medical maladies because of a vaccination program that is not allowed to be questioned. It’s time for the government, the medical community and the media to start taking into account the too many that are affected. More sustainable development from our LG folks. I challenge you to examine LG websites (Councils, Regional Council, Horizons) – they’re replete with a ton of rhetoric about sustainable this and sustainable that … all of which they pay mere lip service to. Note the comment from them in the article when whose responsibility it is is being followed up:

In my opinion placed there to lull you into thinking all this toxic pollution is not their fault. One gets the impression these DCs are fully in bed with the respective industries. Examine also though some of the events that transpire in the various other regions where the life in the waterways is dying off. Recently we had a huge die off of pipi and tuatua at Waitarere Beach. We hear a flurry in the news of ‘yes we are testing’ etc etc etc, and unless you pester them you’ll likely hear no more of it. Or when you do it is some curious thing to blame like I read recently, ‘pine pesticide’. Then they blame floods or high temps. All ‘natural’ phenomena of course so industrial pollution can’t be blamed. But here in this video, the stream is said to stink of chemicals, to which the likely reply will be the usual mantra of ‘it can’t be proven’. Not without extensive and expensive testing at least. Which predictably nobody will feel responsible enough to stump up with the costs for. Industries/corporations manage to let themselves off the hook in terms of responsibility for clean up. They have succeeded in reframing all of that by calling the damages externalities and making the public pay. Really the must watch as I always recommend is, ‘The Corporation’ doco. The profits of corporations are generally so large they pay for any fines out of their lunch money. If they get any fines that is. Largely they create carnage then move on leaving the locals to suck it up … get poisoned … whatever. They are rarely made to pay. So here we have dying eels as the canary in the coal mine. How long will it be before there is nothing left? We can’t swim in these streams and rivers any more, many more we can’t even wade in they’re so toxic. So why would we be expecting eels to survive in them? The regional authorities need to step up & enforce their consents properly instead of turning the proverbial blind eye.

Forget clean and green – this Wellington stream is brown, bubbly and litter-strewn
As Jane Poata walks beside Wellington’s Owhiro Stream, the toxic stench rekindles childhood memories of holidaying beside New Zealand’s most-contaminated site.
It is a metallic smell she described as ammonia and lime, rising from the brown and bubbly stream, a tributary of which passes through T&T Landfills before running behind a primary school and homes then into Taputeranga Marine Reserve off the capital’s south coast.
Greater Wellington Regional Council has confirmed the contamination came from the T&T Landfills, which was in the process of diverting the tributary to Owhiro Stream and creating a filtering wetland so it no longer picked up debris and contaminants when flood water rushed through.
“Any contaminant can be toxic and harmful to the stream ecology and people coming into contact, but it depends on the levels we find.”
The landfill was fined following a similar incident in November. Cross said further fines had not been ruled out but the council was more focused now on fixing the problem.
