New research out of the University of Southern California presents a fascinating discovery, once again bringing the debate to the forefront. The team gathered a group of participants and asked them, in the initial stages, to fast for 2-4 days on a regular basis over a 6-month period. During this time, they witnessed some incredible changes. The participants saw a noticeable decrease in the production of the enzyme PKA, a hormone which has been associated with an increased risk of cancer and tumor growth. Furthermore, the immune system of the participants appeared to get a complete overhaul. Professor Valter Longo, PhD, the researcher of the study expressed his surprise with the study’s findings, stating, “What we started noticing in both our human work and animal work is that the white blood cell count goes down with prolonged fasting. Then when you re-feed, the blood cells come back. So, we started thinking, well, where does it come from?”
The findings may provide considerable promise for those that are susceptible to disease, currently receiving chemotherapy treatments or simply for our aging population. The research showed that the act of fasting triggered a switch to flip in the body, signalling it to begin a “stem-cell based regeneration of the hematopoietic system.” It forced the body to use up its stores of glucose, fat and ketones, and also started to break down a large number of white blood cells. The loss of white blood cells flagged the body to, in turn, regenerate new immune system cells.

Facebook has data-sharing partnerships with at least four Chinese electronics companies, including a manufacturing giant that has a close relationship with China’s government, the social media company said on Tuesday.

The 1080 poison is due to be aerially dropped within the next couple of weeks. Prefeed baits were dropped on May 28, 2018.
Here is why 1080 baits should not be dropped in snowy, wintry conditions. According to the information below, DoC’s 2014 Code of Practice suggests : “Avoid sowing toxic baits on snow. With regard to rocky outcrops, these should be evaluated along with other timing and boundary decisions in operational planning. Seek advice from technical and science advisors for your situation”.

I received this email from Ron Eddy in March, 2017, re dropping 1080 in SNOW!:
“Now to 1080 in snow. …… at a meeting in St Arnaud where Josh Kemp, DoC’s Kea scientist was present Kemp answered my comment about dropping 1080 in snow. He replied “We never drop in snow.” I then pulled those photos out and silence reigned from the DoC side of the discussion. I think there was a drastic reduction in Nelson Lakes Kea after that 2008 drop because that was when they brought in the 2009 code of practice for 1080 operations in Kea habitat. That also brought in DoC’s Kea monitoring as the first operation shown on that chart is the 2008 Arawhata one. No mention of the Red Hills / Beeby’s / St Arnaud N Face or Upper Wairau ones though. In a reply to someone on the ‘net Kemp denied the Nelson Lakes NP area had had 1080 dropped on it at that time.

About a week after the Upper Wairau operation into snow I went through an area of it and found 1080 baits that hadn’t been touched … they had blown up like sausages. 1080 lasts a lot longer in cold conditions, the cold keeps it viable and to me, those baits were still viable because the hard centres in them were still solid. They went ahead with that drop knowing we were in for a large drop of snow and to my mind they were wanting to get every possum they could even though they knew there were very few possums there . Their monitoring told them so.
To have a deep blanket of snow also took away the food sources of our native birds. For them to see bright green coloured cereal baits on top of the snow would have been an open invitation to have free feed. Especially the Kea. That no doubt is also the reason DoC now diversionary feed Kea during 1080 drops in the Nelson Lakes NP area. That still didn’t stop one Kea that we know of from dying from 1080 poisoning in the 2014 operation.
In DoC’s revised 2014 “DOC code of practice for aerial 1080 operations in Kea habitat” on page 12 is a series of questions and answers in regard to aerial 1080 operations. Question 3 reads, ” We are planning to sow 0.15% 1080 Pellets in some open alpine areas to protect Rock Wren. What is the best timing to achieve this, considering that there could be snow for some of the year? Should rocky areas above the tussock be excluded?”
The answer is “Avoid sowing toxic baits on snow. With regard to rocky outcrops, these should be evaluated along with other timing and boundary decisions in operational planning. Seek advice from technical and science advisors for your situation.”
Apart from the directive in that answer I think the rest of the above info should give you a pretty good idea why 1080 baits shouldn’t be dropped on snow. Considering Rock Wren live in rock outcrops it appears their lack of knowledge on this subject contributed towards the demise of those 25 Kahurangi NP Rock Wren in 2014….. ” Ron Eddy, St Arnaud

We filmed a bunch of poisoned birds laying on the snow, along with the baits. 1080 is biodegradable, rubbish hardly in NZ as organisms that can achieve that (2) are very rare in here.
1080 is safe in water, according to DOC and TBfree but MOH says it is harmful in water.
NO ONE is allowed to do an epidemiological study in NZ to see how this teratogen, class 1a poison may behave in our populations living within the poison and dust zones.

In a press release, the FDA warned consumers over-the-counter teething products containing benzocaine may pose a serious risk to infants and children. Benzocaine is a pain reliever contained in many teething products for the temporary relief of sore gums. The FDA is asking manufacturers to voluntarily take products with benzocaine off the market and for companies to stop selling the products.
The FDA has been warning of the potentially deadly side effect for the last decade2 and now warns of legal action should manufacturers not comply. The FDA will also require manufacturers to update their warning labels on prescription local anesthetics for teething children to include the potential risk of methemoglobinemia.3

The chief executives of Housing NZ, the Ministry of Education, Tourism NZ and the Accident Compensation Corporation were among those who reaped at least $50,000 more in pay and bonuses over the last year.
Figures released by the State Services Commission show ACC chief executive Scott Pickering was paid $760,000-$770,000, which is $150,000 more than the year before. Housing NZ Corporation CEO Glen Sowry received between $520,000 and $530,000 – at least $50,000 more than the year before. And Education chief executive Peter Hughes got at least $60,000 more than the year before with between $620,000 and $630,000.

I repost this issue in emphasizing our loss of free speech, however I would add this type of thing has been happening to indigenous people for hundreds of years. NZ has its own set of peaceful Maori activists who, opposing land alienation, were whisked out of sight to lands & prisons far from home, some dying there never to return. These have been hidden away by the lying historians (lies by omission). All dissenting voices back then were silenced or ignored. No social media then. I pay tribute personally to their fortitude & the way they adhered to their morals, un-sold out.
