We had Key keeping in step with the arms trade not so long ago. Keeping up with big brother Amerika (that country that has been at war 93% of the time – 222 out of 239 years – since 1776). Trying to anyway, in spite of all the opposition from people who don’t want war. They’ll also be in Royal company given the British Queen’s propensity for dabbling seriously in the trade. My Kiwi Veteran father used to say wars would never end because wars make money, he who lied about his age in order to join his four brothers and go fight for ‘King & country’ as was the lie spun to young cannon fodder back in the day. These advocates of war who profiteer from it should be sent to the front lines themselves, they and their children. Although now the brave soldiers are killing people including civilians from their armchairs with drone warfare.  We’ve come so far haven’t we? Killing’s become a very fine art indeed. I heard the other day there’s a Lockheed Martin Factory in the Wellington region now. Same corporation that has its fingers in the Rocket Pad pie up the East Coast. Key got us well into those corporate pockets.

Anyway Aus is set to excel at the weapons trade & become one of the world’s ‘top dogs’. Being top dog is really important in the fake corporate world of profits & faceless, mindless killers of all things beautiful. Well in my opinion anyway. They’re going to soon be the death of us all. And I make no apology for the header photo of the grieving civilian mother with her boy whose life has been snuffed out by this sickening trade. It is so wrong.

Australia is set to become one of the world’s largest arms exporters under a controversial Turnbull government plan.

The prime minister, Malcolm Turnbull, has unveiled a new “defence export strategy” setting out the policy and strategy to make Australia one of the world’s top 10 weapons exporters within the next decade.

Hailing it a job-creating plan for local manufacturers, the Coalition says Australia only sells about $1.5bn to $2.5bn in “defence exports” a year and it wants the value of those exports to increase significantly.

It has identified a number of “priority markets”: the Middle East, the Indo-Pacific region, Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and New Zealand.

It will set up a new Defence Export Office to work hand in hand with Austrade and the Centre for Defence Industry Capability to coordinate the commonwealth’s whole-of-government export efforts and provide a focal point for more arms exports.

A $3.8bn Defence Export Facility, to be administered by the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation, will provide the finance local companies need to help them sell their defence equipment overseas.

A new Australian Defence Export Advocate position, set up to support the Australian Defence Export Office, will provide industry with the constant high-level advocacy needed to promote Australian-made weapons overseas.

So also are the brains of Alzheimers patients who have died found to have high concentrations of Aluminum. The environmental sources of this now are aplenty. It’s been found in high concentrations in our drinking water (thanks to the ‘not happening’ Geoengineering). It is also in many of our products, personal care, and our food. And worse … in the vaccines! Time to read the labels and minimize the intake. Also to detox.

I found this initially on a blog called lawisanass-wingate.blogspot.co.nz  Unfortunately that blog is no longer online. It cited Kiwis First’s article below.

Not too long ago I posted here an article on the privatization ‘two step’ you could call it because it really is smoke and mirrors. The sale of your assets  by your govt/corporation Kiwis (same modus operandi in other countries) has to look like a good thing so as usual these characters pulling the strings, ‘sell’ it to you as such. On power we were told power would be cheaper. “Yeah right” as the Tui saying goes.  Throughout our recent history, there have been those who have challenged this new status quo and Simon Kaiwai’s been one of them. That  removal of your sovereignty is the real aim, is clearly demonstrated in the response Simon got from the powers that be, leading him finally to be deemed ‘mentally unfit’. Among other things.  This is a real eye opener.

From  Kiwis First on the sale of state owned assets to private companies, particularly as it panned out for a former CEO of a medical company who decided to challenge those sales. With dire consequences that clearly demonstrate the fascist and totalitarian direction your country appears to be headed in Kiwis. 

Simon Kaiwai, the former CEO of an international medical company and business consultant decided to challenge the privatization of New Zealand’s electricity infrastructure in 2009, prompted by power price rises well in excess of inflation, as well as private profiteering off public-owned assets. He had been particularly moved by the death of Folole Muliaga in 2007 resulting from her power being cut off despite the electricity company’s knowledge she was dependent upon a breathing apparatus and the family’s vain attempts to pay by installments.

Kaiwai says, “privatisation of public assets initially involves, placing ownership into two ministers’ personal names.” From there determination of which private company buys it and for how much becomes muddled. This process was something Kaiwai wanted to see ventilated in the public arena. Ultimately, Kaiwai wanted a jury to decide whether the sale of the electricity infrastructure to private corporations was 1) approved by a majority of the public owners and 2) fairly compensated for.

The selling of public assets has been a vexed one in New Zealand for years, with many infrastructure assets such as the railways being sold off at a bargain, only to be repurchased by the government in run down condition and on the verge of collapse years later. There was something in the challenge by Kaiwai that attracted a swift and heavy handed response – the physical demonstration of which attracted 16,000 hits in its first week on YouTube despite no mainstream media coverage in New Zealand.

It began in September 2009 when Mr Kaiwai demanded an “authenticated bill” from his electricity retailer Trustpower instead of their “remittance advice” statement of $146. This was legally significant to Kaiwai. He considered that if he could later prove the retailer was operating under an unlawful charter, the authenticated bill gave him legal recourse that the remittance advice statement did not. Trustpower failed to respond to the request, instead issuing a demand notice for $215.
To demonstrate his challenge was principled and not motivated by a personal desire to evade payment for power, Kaiwai paid $900, a good faith overpayment which would ensure supply to his home, where his expectant wife was due to give birth. Increasing demands for the authenticated bills brought threats by the retailer to turn off power, which escalated in threats by Kaiwai to trespass any Trustpower representatives.
In a matter of weeks from the initial dispute, electricians entered the property under Police escort to disconnect the family’s power.
After Trustpower refused to supply the family, the landlord opened an account with Contact Energy. However in a letter dated 7 January 2010 Contact Energy informed the Kaiwai family “Now that we more fully understand the history of the account, we are not willing to supply electricity…”.
It was 24 November 2009 when two Police constables and two Top Energy electricians broke through a locked gate, ignored the no trespass signs, intent to disconnect the electricity.
On seeing the Police Kaiwai grabbed his video camera and attempted to question the Top Energy workers. Police constables David Reynolds and Hayden Nicol responded to the filming by jumping on Kaiwai, pepper spraying and then beating him repeatedly.
While they were taking Mr Kaiwai away one of them admitted to the assault.

The 37 year old Mr Kaiwai had never before been charged or arrested. Nonetheless, District Court Judge De Ridder denied Simon bail after police opposed bail on the grounds Kaiwai had a “distorted view of society” which the police alleged posed a public threat. Mr Kaiwai’s response that he had received no legal representation was ignored by Judge De Ridder.
Consequently, Mr Kaiwai’s pregnant wife was left at home without electricity while her husband was held the maximum two weeks in prison under the Criminal Procedure Mentally Impaired Persons Act 2003.
Psychiatric evaluation by two specialists was required, in accordance with the Act, for which Kaiwai was transported to Auckland Central Remand Prison. Mr Kaiwai refused evaluation. Nevertheless, one of the psychiatrists was prepared to endorse the State’s position that Mr Kaiwai was mentally unfit, an opinion which, once concurred by another doctor, can legally imprison someone for up to five years in New Zealand without trial.
Mr Kaiwai did not learn his lesson from this narrow escape from the Mason Clinic. His protestations brought further attempts by the police to get a compulsory mental health order to commit him. He subsequently sought an “independent survey” of his “case study” from New Zealand psychiatrists. Unwittingly, Dr Justin Barry-Walsh, a distinguished psychiatrist in “medico-legal assessments” agreed there were significant ethical questions in the accepted approach to Mr Kaiwai’s psychiatric evaluation.
In the survey Dr Barry-Walsh disclosed between 21-40% of his business comes from court engagements.
It took more than a year and 20 court appearances for Mr Kaiwai to have the charges of ‘assault’ and ‘resist’ dismissed and, along the way, disprove the false accusations by the State regarding his mental health.

Kaiwai states “I’ve been utterly shocked that by exposing a breach of the public trust by those in public service, I have become victim to what I believe is collusion between the electricity companies, the police, the courts and even the health system.”

Undeterred, Kaiwai exhorts, “Given the trend toward privatisation of public assets I believe it is essential we address this issue before more families endure such hardship.'”  Kaiwai himself seems less likely to personally lead this charge. Judge MacDonald, a former Police Prosecutor, blocked Mr Kaiwai’s private prosecutions against Top Energy, Trustpower and the Police.

This ordeal, and the increasing difficulty of getting a jury trial in New Zealand, has led the once proud Kiwi and his family to flee for the safety of… Chile. Despite the police and court attempts to label them insane and a menace to society, it is ironic that it is their victory against the State – and the retribution this typically engenders in New Zealand – that left them feeling unsafe living in their homeland. Though many in the community were supportive, the family was particularly struck by the widespread apathy to their ordeal and, perhaps more alarming, the vocal few who sought to silence their protestations.

A bombshell new study published in PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Science) has found that people are 6.3 times more likely to infect others with the influenza virus if they have received a flu shot. 

The provocative study detected that subjects who received the dangerous vaccine had abnormally high levels of aerosol shredding of flu virus particles – placing those around them at risk.

Greenmedinfo.com reports:  The study found that flu carriers exhale significant quantities of infectious influenza virus, and that counterintuitively, sneezing is rare and not important for influenza virus aerosolization; nor is coughing required to transmit these particles. Despite recent publicity about the high level of homelessness in Los Angeles, it turns out that Hawaii is the state with the highest rate of homelessness.

This documentary begins by exploring local efforts to criminalize homelessness via their “sit and lie” laws (which make it illegal to sit or lie on the sidewalk). Hawaii Kai, the second richest post code in the US, has a residents vigilante group patrolling the streets for homeless people to report to the police.

A quote by one of their wealthier members is absolutely priceless: “You can’t have a society where one factor just takes and takes and takes.” Ironically she is referring to homeless people – even though her comment is far more pertinent to the wealthy elite she belongs to.

If you or someone you know has rheumatoid arthritis (RA), you’ll want to watch this video. In it, Sarah Allen, who is a former patient of mine, shares how she put rheumatoid arthritis into remission, and it’s a remarkable success story.

Rheumatoid arthritis was a passion of mine while I was still in active practice. I treated over 3,000 patients with this disease. I estimate 80 to 85 percent of them experienced significant recovery, if not remission, like Sarah did.

I ran into Sarah after giving a presentation recently in Orlando, where she happened to be in attendance. After talking to her, I decided we needed to share her important story as it would provide hope for so many who struggle with this disease.

She first came to see me in August of 2003. Even though she was only 28 years old at the time, she’d been experiencing symptoms of RA for about three or four years.

“I thought I was very healthy,’ she says. ‘I was young. I was a competitive triathlete. I believed I had a pretty good diet. So, I didn’t really understand why I was experiencing so much pain in my fingers and in my feet.

I had migrating pain, and a lot of tendonitis issues all throughout my body. It took the Western doctors a long time to diagnose me. It took about three years going to different doctors before they knew what was wrong.

It didn’t show in my blood; I didn’t have the RA factor, and my C-reactive protein (CRP) levels were normal. But it showed up on an X-ray.'”

Hallmark Signs of RA

One of the hallmark symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis is pain in your hands and/or feet. It tends to affect the proximal joints more so than the distal ones, i.e. the joints closest to your palm, for example, opposed to the joints further out in the fingers.

So, if you have pain there, especially if it’s symmetrical (affecting the same joints on both hands or feet), then almost by definition you have rheumatoid arthritis or an RA variant. It really doesn’t matter what the blood work shows.

RA is far less common than osteoarthritis, or degenerative joint disease, which is not as crippling. It’s actually easy to treat degenerative arthritis if you understand the components of a healthy lifestyle.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a far more complex disease. It’s an autoimmune disease; your body is destroying itself, and it can be terminal — some people have even been known to commit suicide from the crippling pain.

It’s quite notable that less than one percent of people with the disease have a spontaneous remission. Some disability occurs in 50 to 70 percent of people within five years after onset of the disease, and half will stop working within 10 years.

RA Is Typically Treated with Toxic Drugs

Traditional care also doesn’t have a lot of good hope for RA sufferers. All they do is ameliorate or treat the symptoms — typically using highly toxic drugs, including prednisone, methotrexate, and drugs that interfere with tumor necrosis factor, like Enbrel.

This is why I’m so passionate about spreading this information because as Sarah can attest, there’s an alternative, and this drug-free strategy really works. You don’t have to suffer needlessly in a conventional treatment model.

In 2015, then-new Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau justified appointing women to half of his cabinet posts with ‘It’s 2015.’  And we all applauded.  He was elected largely because he wasn’t the incumbent Prime Minister, Stephen Harper.  But he also won based on election promises of gender equality, LGBTQ equality, as well as a ‘new deal’ for the indigenous population.

But here we are two years on, and the plight of the indigenous population of Canada remains the same as it ever was.  Trudeau has not exactly lived up to his campaign pledges to re-set the relationship between First Nations and the Canadian state.  This is not all Trudeau’s fault in the sense that he reflects a deeply racist Canadian society.  I have written about this numerous times (here, here, here, and here, for example).

This Japanese Coastal Town Has Been Fighting the Construction of a Nuclear Power Plant for 35 Years

In 1982, Chugoku Electric Power Co. announced a plan to start the construction of a massive nuclear power plant in the small coastal town of Kaminoseki Japan. Kaminoseki boasts some of the best fishing in Japan and it’s the livelihood of the inhabitants of the town, a livelihood locals fear will be taken away from the community if the proposed power plant gets built. 
Midori Takashima grew up in Hiroshima until she was 18 and would see the inscription on the Hiroshima Peace Memorial which read “Rest In Peace, we’ll never let this happen again.” She grew up weary of the dangers of nuclear radiation.
Takashima is now a Patagonia grantee and activist founder of the Kaminoseki Nature Conservation Association and physically taking the memorial’s creed into action.

Kiwis love herbicides and poisons, particularly Kiwi farmers. They spray roundup over their pastures because the text books recommend it and they believe it’s safe. They won’t read the independent research either. Not in my experience. Still that’s what we’re up against. The corporations particularly Monsanto in this instance, have control of the media so they control the public perception. Their methods aren’t working & they’re not sustainable witness the filthy state of our waterways now. Can’t even swim in them any more. An intensive farming practice taking off in the Rangitikei, known locally as spray and pray, is an environmental disaster waiting to happen, according to Fish and Game.

The method involves aerially spraying steep hill country with herbicide, then sowing a winter crop and aerially spraying with fertiliser.

Stock are then fed in mobs on the crop during winter, which strips it back to bare land.

It has locals, including farmers, worried about what it is doing to waterways, particularly the protected Rangitikei River, which is one of 15 rivers in the country with a water conservation order on it.

Fish and Game chief executive Bryce Johnson said he first heard about the practice from a fishing guide in Rangitikei, who was noticing the river was clouding with sediment on fine days and becoming increasingly discoloured.

Tax rates for our esteemed ‘public servants’ at Parliament are a joke – time for a complete overhaul

Calculated at the time of Key’s ‘leadership’ (said with tongue in cheek). The same would doubtless still apply for the current PM. Time for change. Bryan Bruce in his last doco recalled a time when Parliamentarians earned the same wage as a teacher. The higher salary (that being a vast understatement) has not brought greater accountability or better service from these public servants. We should return to the previous regime. How much tax does John Key pay compared to a minimum wage worker??

Yesterday I did some calculations to find out what tax John Key pays compared to a worker on the minimum wage.

MANA Movement Economic Justice spokesperson John Minto is calling for a radical overhaul of New Zealand’s taxation system with calculations showing that a minimum wage worker pays a ten times higher tax rate than the Prime Minister.

Minimum wage worker 28% tax

Prime Minister 2.8% tax

The minimum wage worker on 40 hours per week earns $29,640 and pays $4,207 in income tax and $4,149.60 in GST giving a total tax of $8,356.60 or 28% of income.

On the other hand the Prime Minister earns $428,000 from his PM’s salary along with this year’s $5,000,000 increase in his wealth (according to NBR’s rich list) which gives him a total income of $5,428,000. On this total income he pays just $132,160 in income tax and approximately $21,400 in GST giving a total tax of $153,560 or 2.8% of income.

This is a national embarrassment. Those least able to pay are under a heavy tax burden while the super-rich pay peanuts.

The National government and its attack bloggers refer to the working poor as scum, bludgers and ferals but it’s clear the real problem is with the top 1% of income earners who get all the benefits of taxpayer funded facilities and services but don’t pull their weight paying for them.

Cleaners, fast-food workers, hospitality workers and security guards are all heavily subsidising the lifestyles of the superrich.

These figures show we need an overhaul of our tax system so the Prime Minister and his rich-list colleagues pay their fair share.

As we know the Nats created a great hole in the State owned housing stock by selling off & land banking properties situated on prime real estate. Now Labour’s set to fix it with ‘affordable’ tiny housing. This is the global trend of course under the UN’s plan for sustainable development. (Sustainably developing developers’ bank accounts, nothing much else is being sustained … note worst pollution of waterways ever, councils are lip service only). With large swathes of the South Island just sold (rather gifted) off shore, governments/corporations have been full on privatising all our state assets with Public Private Partnerships that you all should examine a little more closely. Further food for thought is the current new law in Australia that stops you declining vaccination for you or your child (or face 10 years imprisonment) and the stopping of private citizens and asking for papers/ID in the US. This is the beginnings of a totalitarian Police State agenda. That is the fairly plain writing I am seeing on the wall.

Housing crisis solution described as ‘design and planning monstrosity’

A building expert has slammed the Government’s latest emergency housing solution as a “design and planning monstrosity”.

Engineering consultant Jonathan Smith said the design of the small West Auckland units was unacceptable.

“The units are an eyesore and a design fail.”

The one-bedroom properties have already been criticised for looking like “prison cells”.

Single people would live in the prefabricated dwellings, for an average of three months, under the Government’s transitional housing programme.

Smith said the units were a “design and planning monstrosity”.

POISONED WAIKATO FAMILY: An experienced hunter asks why no authorities have contacted the hunter who provided the meat that may also have killed his own dog

WHY DID THE AUTHORITIES NOT CONTACT THE PIG HUNTER WHO SOLD THE POISONED FAMILY THE WILD PIG ?!

This comment is from Lloyd Hanson a NZ hunter of 53 yrs experience. He raises some important questions that reflect more inconsistencies in the case of the poisoned Waikato family:

There is a lot of misinformation coming from mainly the pro poison side so here is a small attempt to rectify this :

Here is my opinion, based on over 30 years studying 1080, hunting and observing 1080 aerial drops on the ground. Also as an ex possum hunter I know the bush well.

LD50 rates/pig/human are irrelevant as this is the amount it is meant to take to KILL the animal/human concerned, not to cause ILLNESS, and in the human case has never been studied extensively so the rate is……..?????

Clyde Graf, Steve Graf and I observed a margin 1080 aerial drop in the Teme Valley, Marlborough a few years back, and after 12 hours we discovered 7 dead red deer hinds and a 50kg pig dead in the river.

We found the deer that we believe the pig had fed on, and it had eaten out the paunch (gut) area which resulted in it’s death a few hours later !

The deer of course had taken a lot more pellets than was necessary to reach its LD50 rate as one could stand in one place under the helicopter’s course and observe several pellets, making it easy for the hind to smell and pick up the scented cereal based baits in a short time period.

Now in the case of the poisoned wild pork consumed by the Indian people who were admitted to hospital in a critical condition :

The hunter who caught the pig was hunting in an aerial 1080’d block! He may have been unaware, as some hunters have access through the back of farms or through isolated, unsigned areas.

He may have been using holding dogs which latch onto the head or ear area if possible, and will bite somewhere to get a grip, resulting in ingestion of blood or saliva from the pig. It depends on how long it takes the hunter to get to the pig how much blood can be ingested ! Also some hunters feed offal to their dogs to reward them for their effort at the time of capture.

The word on the street is that this pig hunter’s dog was fed the heart of the pig.

It is unknown how deadly this poison is to humans. It may well be as toxic to humans as it is to dogs. No testing is done on humans and the research used to defend the poison is mostly anecdotal from years ago.

I will only cover this aspect of the whole sorry affair but will leave you with this thought:

How come Ministry of Primary Industries, or Waikato District Health Board, or NZ Police didn’t contact the hunter concerned, because if these people had died it could have been a manslaughter case, could it not? The poisoned family’s lawyer managed to contact him without a bother !

Does anyone out there know a forensic pathologist – a medical expert – who can make a determination on what poison is likely to have caused the following effects-symptoms in the poisoned family from Putaruru? The family that the Waikato DHB said was suffering from botulism? (If so, please email tvwild@xtra.co.nz – in confidence, or contact through messenger on FB).

Points to note

Shibu, one of the victims, stated he believed the poisoning was caused by 1080 (sodium monofluoroacetate) based on what he recalled the pig hunter had told him when receiving the pig, and upon gaining consciousness after 3 weeks in a coma. The pig hunter also reportedly told Shibu that the pig was fine to feed to his family (as is also stated by DoC, TBFree and regional councils – you’d need to consume a huge amount of poisoned flesh to get a dose that would harm you).

The New Zealand Government-owned factory that imports and manufacturers the baits currently says it’s mix is 0.15% pure 1080 in bait. And that just 30 grams of bait, or 2 and a half standard sized 12 gram baits, may kill an adult human. 166 of these twelve gram baits are currently spread (@ 2kg bait/Ha) across every hectare of land and water in New Zealand aerial operations. Also note – Shibu stated that the pig hunter told him that his dog had died on the same day, assumed to be from 1080 poison. Also note – over 70% of New Zealand’s forests are aerially spread with 1080 poison every 2 – 3 years … the poison is spread across forests, and also across all waterways within those forests, in most aerial operations around New Zealand. The family of a Mataura possum hunter who died from 1080 poisoning 43 years ago want his death publicly acknowledged by the Department of Conservation and Animal Health Board.

Both agencies say no-one has died of accidental 1080 poisoning in New Zealand.

But Ian Buchanan’s widow, 69-year-old Elva Wicks, of Invercargill, said that was not true.

Wicks was 25 years old and the mother of three young children when her first husband, Ian Buchanan, died a “ghastly death” in Dunedin Hospital in 1966.

Coroner J Murray found Buchanan died from “central nervous system depression accompanied by respiratory and cardiac failure due to 1080 poisoning”.

The poison was found by investigators in a tin of jam kept in a back porch cupboard, but it was never discovered how the poison came to be in the jam, or how Buchanan consumed the 1080.

“If DOC and the AHB say they haven’t heard anything about Ian’s death it’s because they don’t want to hear,” Wicks said.

“It is documented on his death certificate – how can they deny it?”

AHB spokeswoman Anne McLean said the manner of Buchanan’s death was unclear.

DOC spokesman Rory Newsam said the department was unaware of Buchanan’s death until alerted by the media this week.

Australian nurses and midwives who dare to speak out against the dangers of vaccinations on social media or in person will be prosecuted, the Australian government has warned, urging members of the public to report vaccine skeptics to the authorities.

Medical professional face a jail sentence of 10 years for expressing doubt about the effectiveness of vaccinations or urging further studies into vaccine safety. Opponents of the new law claim free speech and scientific integrity is under attack in Australia by a government that has been bought and paid for by Big Pharma.

“With no exceptions we expect all registered nurses, enrolled nurses and midwives to use the best available evidence in making practice decisions. This includes providing information to the public about public health issues,” Chair of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) Dr. Lynette Cusack said in a statement.

The NMBA has called on Australians to report nurses or midwives promoting anti-vaccination – ‘anti-vaxxers’, as they’re known colloquially.

“The board will consider whether the nurse or midwife has breached their professional obligations and will treat these matters seriously,” the statement said.

“Any published anti-vaccination material and/or advice which is false, misleading or deceptive which is being distributed by a registered nurse, enrolled nurse or midwife (including via social media) may also constitute a summary offence under the National Law and could result in prosecution by AHPRA [Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.]”

One of the strongest supporters of vaccination, Victoria’s Health Minister Jill Hennessy, has no time for parents who believe vaccine safety requires further study in order to ensure they are safe for our children.

Describing vaccine skeptics as “brain dead sheep“, the politician said:

“They are an organized movement, largely stemming from the United State of America that are hell bent on misleading parents that vaccinations are unsafe.
