About the erasure of natural health

From Sayer Ji @ substack

I joined my dear friend and colleague Dr Eric Berg to discuss censorship, the “Dirty Dozen”, and how Big Tech’s crackdown ignited a global movement for bodily sovereignty.

In this powerful conversation, Dr Eric Berg interviews me about my twenty year journey in my role as founder of GreenMedInfo, long-time natural health advocate, and one of the infamous “Disinformation Dozen” – to unpack how I was suddenly recast as a “domestic extremist” and even a “terrorist” simply for championing natural health and medical freedom.

In this video I explain how:

  • In 2019, Google quietly carried out what he calls a “digital book burning”, wiping out around 99% of natural health search results overnight.
  • A tiny UK outfit, the CCDH (Centre for Countering Digital Hate), helped script a playbook that turned natural health advocates into convenient villains – laundering censorship through NGOs that platforms and governments could hide behind.
  • How my website, business and YouTube presence were targeted, with cancer, vitamin D, immunity and COVID-related content stripped away under the banner of “misinformation” for daring to disagree with “consensus”.

But this isn’t just a horror story – it has a genuinely surprising ending.

I share how, after years of deplatforming, demonetisation and defamation, the tides are turning, with three of my accounts were recently reinstated. The platforms admitted they should never have been removed under their own community standards – right as Sayer is pursuing a federal civil rights lawsuit. At the same time, public trust in Big Pharma is collapsing, RFK Jr has moved into a position of real influence over health policy, and millions more people are suddenly awake to the importance of bodily sovereignty.

Together, Dr Berg and Sayer explore:

  • How “scientism” and “medical monotheism” replaced genuine evidence-based medicine with pronouncements from on high.
  • The way words like drugdisease and misinformation have been strategically redefined to sideline food-as-medicine and traditional remedies.
  • The new era of paid influencers quietly pushing pharmaceutical talking points while attacking natural health – often without disclosure.
  • Why attempts to smear, censor and exile natural health voices have actually accelerated a grassroots movement towards lifestyle-based, regenerative approaches to health.

If you care about the freedom to choose sunlight, turmeric, cherries or broccoli over a lifetime of polypharmacy – and about your right to decide what goes into your body – this interview will both validate your concerns and leave you hopeful.

Story at-a-glance

  • While I do not recommend relying on supplements for your daily nutrition, depending on your state of health, there may be instances where you need one or more supplements to address a nutritional deficiency or ailment
  • Ten of the most popular nutritional supplements include ashwagandha, berberine, B vitamins, including B12, collagen, creatine, omega-3, magnesium, vitamin D and NAD+ precursors such as niacinamide
  • Some nutritional deficiencies are so widespread, thanks to soil depletion and reliance on processed foods, that just about everyone can benefit from supplementation. This is the case for magnesium and B vitamins in particular

While I do not recommend relying on supplements for your daily nutrition, depending on your state of health, there may be instances where you need one or more supplements to address a nutritional deficiency or ailment.

Some nutritional deficiencies are so widespread, thanks to soil depletion and reliance on processed foods, that just about everyone can benefit from supplementation. In this article, I will review 10 of the most popular nutritional supplements that may be helpful for many.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is an adaptogenic herb, meaning it helps your body adapt to stress by balancing your immune system, metabolism and hormonal systems. The root contains the highest concentration of active ingredients that modulate hormones, including thyroid hormone, estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

Naturally occurring steroids called withanolides in ashwagandha also suppress pathways responsible for several inflammation-based illnesses such as arthritis, asthma, hypertension, osteoporosis and cancer.

Ashwagandha also supports sexual and reproductive health in both men and women. In men, it helps boost testosterone levels, and has been shown to improve semen quality in infertile men.

In women, ashwagandha’s ability to rebalance hormones (including thyroid hormone, estrogen and progesterone) has been shown to improve polycystic ovary syndrome and relieve menopausal symptoms.

Ashwagandha also has natural pain reliever (analgesic) and rejuvenating properties, and can promote general health when used regularly. While some adaptogens are stimulants in disguise, this is not the case with ashwagandha. It can give your morning exercise routine a boost, and when taken prior to bed it can help you get a good night’s sleep as well.

Berberine

Berberine — a yellow-colored alkaloid compound found in several different plants, including European barberry, goldenseal, goldthread, Oregon grape and tree turmeric — has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative, antidiarrheal, antineoplastic, antidiabetic and immune-enhancing1 properties.

It has a long history of use in traditional medicine, including traditional Chinese medicine, and many integrative health practitioners swear by berberine as a general health supplement due to its ability to address such a wide variety of maladies.2

For example, it’s effective against a wide range of bacteria, protozoa and fungi, and is commonly used to treat gastrointestinal issues, including traveler’s diarrhea and that from food poisoning. Having similar mechanisms of action as the drug metformin, berberine can also be used as an oral hypoglycemic for Type 2 diabetics.3 Other ailments berberine has been shown to protect against and/or treat include:4

High blood pressureFatty liver disease
ObesityDigestive issues
Neurological diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’sCancer
Anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Many of berberine’s health benefits5 have been linked to its ability to activate adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase (AMPK).6 AMPK is an enzyme inside your body’s cells. It’s sometimes referred to as a “metabolic master switch” because it plays an important role in regulating metabolism.7

Low AMPK has been linked to insulin resistance, mitochondrial dysfunction, obesity, neurodegeneration and chronic inflammation — all of which lay the groundwork for a wide variety of serious chronic diseases.

According to many studies, berberine is well-tolerated.8 However, it can interfere with some medications, including oral chemotherapy, high blood pressure medications, blood thinners, cholesterol medications, immunosuppressive drugs, and pharmaceutical diabetes treatments.

Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid berberine. Other side effects can include constipation, diarrhea, low blood sugar, nausea and vomiting.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is known as “the energy vitamin.” Your body requires it for a variety of functions, including energy production, blood formation, DNA synthesis and myelin formation.

It also plays an important role in neurological function, and deficiency can culminate in a range of mental health symptoms, from irritability and depression to dementia and even psychosis. For more details, see “Vitamin B12 to Help Combat Mental Illness.”

Low B12 also increases inflammation and oxidative stress by raising homocysteine. High homocysteine, in turn, is associated with cardiovascular disease and decreased immune response. Vitamins B6, B9 (folate) and B12 break down homocysteine.9

Recent research10 suggests B12 may also be a key player in cellular regeneration, speeding up tissue repair. More specifically, the study found that vitamin B12 is a limiting factor for tissue repair. In other words, to optimize tissue regeneration, you need sufficient amounts of B12 in your system.

The two ways you become deficient are through a lack of vitamin B12 in your diet, or through your inability to absorb it from the food you eat. Vitamin B12 is present in natural form only in animal sources of food, which is one of the reasons I advise against a no-animal-food, vegan diet.

B12-rich foods include beef and beef liver (grass-fed beef is highly preferable to the grain-fed variety), lamb, snapper, venison, salmon, shrimp, scallops, organic pastured poultry and eggs.

Warning signs of B12 deficiency include brain fog, memory lapses, mood swings, apathy, fatigue, muscle weakness and tingling in the extremities. Unfortunately, B12 deficiency may not present itself for several years, so by the time you notice symptoms, you may be quite deficient.

When it comes to supplementation, your best alternatives include injectable B12 and sublingual drops or spray. Most oral supplements tend to be ineffective, as vitamin B12 is poorly absorbed.

You also want to make sure you’re taking methylcobalamin, not cyanocobalamin (which is the most commonly found B12). When taken sublingually (either by tablet or spray), it goes straight into your bloodstream.

If you take it as an oral supplement, you have to rely on a glycoprotein produced in your stomach called intrinsic factor, which binds to the B12 and shuttles it into the intestine to the end of the small intestine where it’s absorbed. As you get older, you lose the ability to produce intrinsic factor, making you more likely to suffer from B12 deficiency.

Other B Vitamins

The other B vitamins are also important, and if you eat a lot of processed food, you’re virtually guaranteed to be deficient in several of them. Case in point: in mid-October 2023, Moms Across America (MAA) tested 10 fast food brands for B vitamins,11 and none of them contained either B9 or B12. Levels of B3 (niacin) were also abysmal.

The recommended daily allowance (RDA) of niacin is 14 mg per day for women and 16 mg for men. To meet that RDA, a woman would need to consume 333 servings of Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches (at a serving size of 210 grams) and a man would need to eat 380 servings.

Chipotle’s carnitas bowl with everything, which had the highest amount of B3, still requires you to eat eight servings if you’re a woman and nine servings if you’re a man, to meet your RDA of niacin. Personally, I believe a B complex is a good option for most people, as you really need all the B vitamins, not just one or two.

Niacinamide

I also recommend taking 50 mg of niacinamide (aka nicotinamide, a form of niacin or vitamin B3) two to three times a day, as it plays a vital role in producing energy in your mitochondria.

Without it, your mitochondria simply cannot make energy efficiently. Niacinamide is also a precursor to NAD+, which is also tightly correlated with total ATP production. NAD+ also acts as fuel for longevity proteins called sirtuins.

Because of its effects on energy production and NAD+, niacinamide can be useful in the prevention and/or treatment of a long list of chronic conditions, including obesity,12,13 insulin resistance and diabetes,14 neurodegeneration15 and neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s and ischemic stroke,16,17 heart failure,18,19 leaky gut,20,21 glaucoma,22,23 declining testosterone levels,24,25 cancer,26,27 kidney disease,28 alcoholic- and nonalcoholic liver disease,29,30 and even COVID-19.31

Your NAD levels dramatically decline with age. It’s also used up by DNA repair enzymes and enzymes involved in inflammation and immunity, such that chronic inflammation, or acute illness in old age, can rapidly result in depletion. For more details, see “The Crucial Role of NAD+ in Optimal Health.”

Collagen

Collagen is the most common and abundant of your body’s proteins. One of its primary purposes is to provide structural scaffolding for your various tissues to allow them to stretch while still maintaining tissue integrity.

As a compound of essential amino acids, there’s only one way to get collagen. Your body can’t produce it, so you must obtain it through your diet. Historically, traditional diets provided ample collagen in the form of broth made from boiled chicken feet or beef bones. These are by far your best alternatives.

If you decide to use a collagen supplement, make sure your collagen supplement is certified “100% Organic” by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to minimize the risk of contaminants associated with concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs).

Moreover, collagen supplements can be either unhydrolyzed (undenatured) or hydrolyzed (denatured). The processing that most collagen supplements undergo to become hydrolyzed can also result in questionable byproducts that are best avoided.

My personal preference is to use a less denatured (unhydrolyzed) organic collagen supplement, as it has a more balanced amino acid profile. That said, I still believe the natural approach is best. Making homemade bone broth using bones and connective tissue from grass fed, organically raised animals isn’t very complicated and will produce the best results. Another alternative is to take glycine, as nearly one-third of the amino acids in collagen is glycine.

Glycine helps reduce inflammation and oxidative damage, as it inhibits the consumption of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADPH). NADPH is used as a reductive reservoir of electrons to recharge antioxidants once they become oxidized.

Glycine also has cell-protective, and antistress effects,32 and has been shown to extend lifespan in animal studies and mitigate chronic disease and disability, thereby increasing healthspan. You need at least 12 grams of glycine daily for optimal collagen turnover, plus another 3 grams per day to form glutathione. So, a therapeutic dose of glycine would be around 15 grams, unless you’re also getting collagen from food or a supplement.

Creatine

Creatine is commonly used by athletes to improve performance, as it’s immediately used by your body to convert ADP to ATP and supply energy muscles need for contraction.

Creatine also helps provide energy to your brain and may improve cognitive performance. It also appears to have protective effects in cases of mild traumatic brain injury. Of the roughly 20 different formulations of creatine on the market, creatine monohydrate is the one that has been studied most frequently and therefore has the strongest evidence of health benefits.

Creatine appears to work by increasing proteins that create muscle fibers33 and raising insulin-like growth factor,34 a hormone that increases muscle mass. Data also suggest that creatine may help lower blood sugar levels.

It is important to choose creatine from a reputable manufacturer. Clinical trials that have lasted up to five years have reported no adverse effects in healthy individuals.35 However, it is important to stay within the recommended dose.

Some people find that creatine makes them feel bloated.36 Some people are sensitive to using creatine and feel bloated if they don’t drink enough water with the supplement. However, most of the time it goes away in just a few hours. Factors that affect bloating include how much water you drink, the intensity of your workout and your diet.

Keep in mind that it’s not guaranteed that you will build muscle from using creatine. Consider creating specific goals for using the supplement so you are not disappointed. If you’re a vegan or a vegetarian, you might consider using creatine to help protect brain health.

Omega-3

Omega-3 fats are essential for healthy cell membrane function, and higher omega-3 levels have been consistently linked to better health and longer life spans. The omega-3 fats EPA and DHA protect health and promotes longevity by:

Thinning your blood, which discourages inappropriate clotting that can lead to a stroke or heart attack
Lowering serum triglyceride levels
Helping to lower blood pressure, in part by improving the health of the lining of your blood vessels so that they can relax better
Anti-inflammatory effects — For example, provided you have enough EPA and DHA in your membranes, when an inflammatory insult occurs, metabolites of the EPA and DHA — resolvins and protectins — will be synthesized. As their names imply, these metabolites help protect against and resolve inflammation. If you do not have sufficient omega-3, the inflammatory response persists longer and can become chronic
Helping the mitochondrial membrane process energy — Improving the fluidity and flexibility of the mitochondrial membrane allows enzymes and the other proteins embedded in the membrane to operate more smoothly
Adding structural stability to mitochondrial membranes — When loaded with omega-3, the membrane allows these agents to move freely, allowing everything to work as it should

While most use fish oil to increase their omega-3 level, this isn’t the best choice, as most are synthetic ethyl esters, which are very different from the triglyceride and phospholipid forms of omega-3 found in sea food.

Ideally, you’d want to get most of your omega-3 from cold-water fatty fish like wild-caught Alaskan salmon, sardines, herring and mackerel, for example. If you opt for a supplement, krill oil, which delivers omega-3 primarily in the phospholipid form, makes it a superior choice to fish oil.

As for dosing, research37 has shown that an omega-3 index greater than 8% is associated with the lowest risk of death from heart disease while an index below 4% places you at the highest risk of heart disease-related mortality.

I recommend taking a maximum of 1 gram of omega-3 per day. Higher amounts could be risky, in my view, because EPA and DHA are both polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs) and, like linoleic acid (LA), are susceptible to oxidation and the production of dangerous aldehyde metabolites.

Magnesium

Magnesium is the fourth most abundant element in your body38 and one of the seven essential minerals we cannot live without.39 It’s involved in hundreds of biochemical reactions in the body,40 and deficiency can contribute to significant health problems.41

It is necessary for the healthy functioning of most cells, and especially your heart and muscles.42 Low levels can impede both cellular metabolic function and mitochondrial function.

According to one scientific review43,44 that included studies dating as far back as 1937, low magnesium may actually be the greatest predictor of heart disease. Research published in 201745 shows even subclinical magnesium deficiency can compromise cardiovascular health. My favorite form of magnesium is L-threonate, as it appears to make its way into your brain the best.

Vitamin D

Last but not least, vitamin D. Ideally, you would get most of your vitamin D from sensible sun exposure. Depending on where you live, this may not be possible however, so oral supplementation may be necessary for at least part of the year.

The ideal dose for most adults of normal weight is 6,000 IUs a day; 7,000 IUs if you’re overweight; and 8,000 IUs a day if you’re obese. At those dosages, most people can reach a minimum blood level of 40 ng/mL (100 nmol/L),46 which is the lower cutoff for sufficiency. Other research suggests you may need as much as 9,122 IUs per day to reach 40 ng/mL.47

Most definitely, the conventional claim that you only need a few hundred IUs per day — which is still touted by medical professionals in media48 — is completely inaccurate and is based on a statistical error49 that for some reason has never been officially corrected.

Your best bet is to get your vitamin D level tested twice a year. Based on the evaluation of healthy populations that get plenty of natural sun exposure, the optimal range for general health appears to be somewhere between 60 and 80 ng/mL (150 to 200 nmol/L).

Taking oral vitamin D together with vitamin K2 and magnesium is also recommended, as you need 244% more oral vitamin D if you’re not also taking magnesium and vitamin K2.50 In other words, if you take all three in combination, you need far less oral vitamin D in order to achieve a healthy vitamin D level.

The Impact of Therapeutic Products Legislation on New Zealand’s GE-Free Dream (Gary Moller)

From Gary Moller

Summary

In this article, we explore the implications of the Therapeutic Products Legislation for New Zealand, from a GE and GMO perspective, and why it’s critical that NZ First is part of the next government to protect our future.

  • The Therapeutic Products Legislation threatens to open the floodgates for the fast-tracking of hundreds of mRNA drugs.
  • A new drug may take as long as 10 years of research, including safety trials, at a cost of a billion dollars, and the majority never make it to market.
  • The experience with the COVID mRNA is that this technology is far from healthy and definitely far from safe.
  • I’ll explain what you can do about this.

Introduction

In the hearts of many New Zealanders lies a shared aspiration: to see their country thrive as a global leader in organic agriculture, a GE-Free haven producing top-quality goods.

However, hidden amidst the Therapeutic Products Legislation lurks a growing fear: could this law pave the way for rapid and widespread genetic engineering, compromising our dreams? Is the true purpose of this legislation for the fast-tracking of dugs that will never survive the rigours of clinical trials?

The Trojan Horse of Genetic Engineering

The concern is palpable. The legislation seems to pave the way for wholesale genetic engineering, including mRNA treatments for plants, animals, and humans, through the backdoor. If this is true, it signals a bleak future, where New Zealand’s identity is tethered to commodity industries, forever competing on low price rather than quality.

Moreover, recent experiences with COVID mRNA vaccines underscore the potential hazards of this technology. Yet, the legislation could open the floodgates for a rush of mRNA drugs and GMOs with insufficient safety checks. Here’s why:

9 Powerful Health Benefits of Cinnamon: The World’s Most Popular Spice (that your Govt wants to regulate)

Remember to make a submission … sure they don’t listen anyway, however, why roll over & give them free reign? Big Pharma is coming for all that is useful, healthful and free in your life. EWR

From theartofantiaging.com
By Brian Vaszily

The sweet and spicy aroma of cinnamon makes it one of the world’s top spices. It’s been valued for its flavor and powerful health properties since at least 2800 BC.

Modern research has confirmed many important health benefits of cinnamon. Studies show that it contains powerful plant compounds that have an anti-inflammatory and antidiabetic effect. Consuming cinnamon regularly can also help your heart and brain health.

Here’s more about what makes this everyday spice so powerful and the proven benefits for your health.

The Fascinating History of Cinnamon

Cinnamon comes from the bark of Cinnamomum trees. These trees are native to regions of Southeast Asia, South America, and the Caribbean. China, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Vietnam are the four top exporters of cinnamon today.

To make the rolled up cinnamon quills you buy in the store, the outer bark of the trees has to be stripped to reveal the inner bark. The inner bark is then shaved and allowed to dry. As it dries, it rolls up into the familiar shape of cinnamon sticks.

To say that cinnamon has been valued since ancient times would be an understatement. It’s mentioned several times in the Bible as part of a sacred anointing oil and was used in ancient Egypt for embalming.

Cinnamon also used to be extremely expensive, even to the point of being an acceptable gift to give royalty. Celyon, the island “homeland” of the most valuable type of cinnamon, passed through many different hands as several countries fought to control the trade for this in-demand spice.

Exactly how will the 2023 Therapeutic Products Bill affect the Availability of Natural Health Products?

From Guy Hatchard

An Open message to Parliament.

Why are they regulating natural health products?

How will the therapeutic products Bill affect us?

VIDEO AT THE LINK (Transcript below, note the transcript refers to some products that are not named but are pictured in the video)

What does the public want?

The public are aware that research findings on diet, nutrition, and lifestyle indicate that there are proven health benefits.

Over 50% of the public use natural health products and alternative approaches to health care.

The public realise there are many traditional sources of information about what products can be used safely.

If an individual suffers from a chronic or serious illness, or simply wants to maintain health, they need to retain their options to research and choose the most effective treatment for them.

The new bill will regulate all natural health products that claim to benefit health.

This is an enabling bill. As a result, the government will appoint a regulator who will then decide for you what products can be sold and what health claims can be made.

Well, what will the regulator decide?

In 2016, the Ministry of Health published a draft list of 5500 approved and all restricted ingredients. Most likely, the decisions of the new regulator, when appointed, will be based on this list.

Let’s answer the public’s first question.

Are all these ingredients safe?

The 2016 Ministry of Health permitted list included 3000 synthetic and chemical additives.

A closer look shows that the permitted list includes many additives which are suspected of causing illness and cancer. Including:

  • FD&C red No. 2
  • Amaranth, No. 3
  • Erythrosine No. 4
  • Ponceau

All are banned in the USA by the FDA.

A 2007 study in the UK found a possible link between six food dyes, a preservative and hyperactivity in children. All these compounds are likely to be permitted by the bill.

Thousands of artificial fragrances and flavours have been approved, even though they have not been tested properly.

Here’s an example of a pre-approved synthetic product. This cheap popular drink is available in New Zealand supermarkets. All of its ingredients have already been approved by the Ministry of Health.

These include:

  • Sugar: which predisposes to obesity and aggravates diabetes
  • E330 Synthetic citric acid
  • Synthetic raspberry flavour, effects unknown.
  • E211 sodium benzoate: implicated as a possible cause of hyperactivity when used with E122
  • Colour E122 Carmoisine: banned in the United States, Sweden, Norway and Austria
  • Artificial sweetener E961 Neotame: similar to aspartame and banned in organic products. US FDA application noted adverse reactions. Dr. Mercola recommends this be avoided at all costs.

This bill will allow this synthetic product to be marketed as a natural health product.

We’re talking about serious health issues here. During the last 20 to 30 years, there’s been a huge expansion in chronic diseases, including cancers, diabetes, heart disease, anxiety, depression, and other mental and physical illnesses.

No one knows the exact causes but poor nutrition food, food additives and environmental pollution are all suspected.

Over 2000 new chemicals are registered each year. There’s been a rapid expansion in the use of chemicals in food and synthetic chemicals. Many of these have been approved without sufficient scrutiny.

Using discredited principles such as substantial equivalence additives that are similar to but slightly different from natural compounds have been approved in though is well known that very small differences in chemical structure can cause serious side effects.

The bill requires the regulation of entirely natural ingredients already known to be safe, in other words, foods.

Under the bill, all ingredients have to be pre-approved. We estimate a supplier will pay $200 annually for each ingredient.

The probable minimal cost of making a health claim on the label will be $5,000 to the regulator for each application. And for each mild condition, your product claims to benefit.

But you will not be allowed to claim that a natural health product can benefit a serious health condition.

If it is considered that your product has therapeutic value, you will pay around $100,000 to register it as a medicine. And only a medical doctor will be allowed to prescribe it.

An EU report found that natural health products are 45,000 times safer than pharmaceutical drugs; Despite this, suppliers will have to comply with pharmaceutical style regulations and undertake frequent costly testing of ingredients and products.

Say you’re selling 300 product products to the public, and each one benefits two mild conditions; the application fees alone will be $3 million before you’ve even begun to prepare your evidence.

The experience in Australia has been that the preparation of a single application can cost in excess of $100,000.

These restrictions are so costly that most suppliers will simply refrain from making health claims, so you’ll have less information. Many will go out of business.

The net effect of these regulations will be that consumers will have less information than they did before.

Restrictions on scientific information regarding serious illness

Did you know that the simple kitchen spice turmeric is effective in preventing bowel cancer?

There are a lot of studies.

New Zealand has one of the highest death rates from bowel cancer in the developed world.

Studies show that garlic, ginger, turmeric, thyme, rosemary, sage, spearmint, and peppermint all inhibit the growth of colon cancer cells.

A study found that 1/3 of patients with end stage bowel cancer for whom no other treatment options existed, improved after treatment with turmeric extract.

If the bill is passed, I would not be allowed to tell you this and could be liable for a substantial fine.

So there are restrictions on free speech

It has been proven for years that garlic benefits healthy heart conditions. No one selling garlic will be allowed to communicate this factual scientific information. Thereby the bill will restrict free speech and suppress matters of fact.

There’ll be restrictions on health claims

A consignment of this product, Vicks vapour rub, was seized by Medsafe. Officials in May 2016 and destroyed because the Label made this unapproved health claim:

Apply to the chest, throat, and back for 3-way relief from blocked nose, cough, and body ache.

Thousands of products could be snagged by this rule.

Restrictions on dose

In 2016 the Ministry of Health believed that the maximum daily dose of vitamin B 12 should be 50 micrograms. This product, vitamin B 12, is commonly used by people who are deficient. It has hit each dose 20 times the maximum daily dose specified by the Ministry of Health. So it could be banned.

A typical Indian or Thai meal may contain 50 grams of tamarind. The maximum daily dose of tamarind that has been permitted by the bill is 500 milligrams, that is 100 times smaller than the amount you might consume in a meal.

Civil servants have been employed to make up this ridiculous rule and hundreds more like it.

Banned ingredients

Even though this traditional coffee substitute contains only natural plants, it will be banned by the bill because it contains an ingredient that is listed under the medicines act.

A sort of reverse patenting that bans herbs if they are used to make medicines.

Hundreds of traditional remedies will disappear.

Neem is one of the world’s most revered traditional healing plants with many medical uses. Among its many uses, it reduces inflammation associated with internal ulcers. It’s so effective that pharmaceutical companies have tried to patent this plant.

The regulator is likely to classify this herb as suitable for external use only. Effectively banning its traditional use for no reason.

This popular form of vitamin C could be banned because it contains a derivative of lecithin (commonly used in chocolate and other supermarket products), which in 2016, was classified by the Ministry of Health as for “external use only“.

Restrictions on traditional Indian and Chinese medicine

The bill will empower the regulator to restrict the traditional practices of ethnic communities, and it will violate the Bill of Rights.

More than 150 commonly used Indian herbs and a similar number of Chinese herbs were wrongly placed on a not permitted list by the Ministry of Health in 2016.

To a large extent, this is because many traditional herbs have been found to be so healthy, that they have been used to develop medicines and therefore these ingredients will be restricted in natural health products.

There are more than 10,000 traditional healing herbs. It will cost more than $100 million to register their healing properties, so in effect, their use will likely cease in New Zealand.

Just look at this list. This is just a short extract from 300 herbs that the Ministry of Health sought to restrict in 2016. The last time they tried to introduce a bill of this type.

These are foods that we consume many of us regularly, why should they be restricted it doesn’t make any sense.

What will it cost you

And these restrictions are going to cost a lot. Last week a 50 gram packet of Rubia Cordifolia, a herb used to make healthy tea cost $12.

After the bill is passed, the same packet may cost 60 to $80, just due to the compliance clock costs.

There are over 100,000 eligible plants. It will take an army of civil servants years to classify even a small proportion of them.

Assessment costs will be paid by the manufacturing industry so the cost of natural health products will obviously rise dramatically.

What will escape regulation

Well, many unhealthy products will be allowed to be sold without regulation.

Sugary Drinks, hard fat, synthetic flavours, and alcohol will continue to be sold unimpeded….

while the government pours millions of dollars and years of fruitless effort into controlling products that are already known to be safe and healthy foods.

This would be ridiculous if it wasn’t immoral and criminal.

There is absolutely no need for the government to regulate natural foods that are based on DNA that are used in natural health products.

Natural foods and herbs should be automatically excluded from regulation. There is no need to do this.

Meanwhile, there is a crisis in healthcare

Medical misadventure, experimentation and interventions have just become the number one cause of death in the world.

Healthcare costs are spiralling out of control.

Mental illness has quadrupled.

Cancers, chronic diseases, heart disease, and many other conditions are increasing to epidemic proportions, all cause mortality is rising.

Clearly something has gone horribly wrong. But no one knows quite why.

There is no doubt that food additives and the drugs we take play a pivotal role in the development of disease.

There have been multiple failures in the regulatory processes which approve agricultural practices food and medicine.

How has this happened?

The process of regulation has moved away from science and becomes a cosy relationship between industry and regulators permitting unsafe and inappropriate products onto the market.

The bill, the proposed, bill represents a new phase of this cosy relationship. Regulators worldwide are cooperating to place restrictions on natural health products. And this will only benefit multinational companies.

What can we do to reverse this trend?

There is a scientific standard scientific approach to identify cause

Eliminate suspected causal factors and reintroduce them one by one.

Dr. Dee Mangin at Otago Medical School, has found that if you stop all non-essential medication for the elderly, their health improves.

Dr. Julia Rutledge at Canterbury University has found that greatly improved nutrition benefits children with ADHD.

Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary, a renowned San Diego neurologist, has found that her patients, including MS sufferers, improved dramatically when placed on a traditional herbal diet.

These are just pointers to the many scientific preventive approaches to health care, which are springing up everywhere based on natural foods.

So why is our parliament planning to restrict natural health products?

We need to remind ourselves there is no evidence that natural health products are unsafe.

In fact, there’s a great deal of evidence that they benefit health and prevent illness.

Natural health products are traditionally made from plants and animal products which are based on DNA and natural minerals.

Our digestive system has developed to easily metabolise food based on DNA without side effects.

Many people rely on natural health products to maintain their health. It will be criminally negligent to restrict their options.

True natural health products are in fact foods.

There is nothing risky about their use.

Taking natural health products is no different from the need to have a balanced meal.

Food is life. It is our first medicine.

The healing properties of plants are proven to benefit public health. Our right to use them should not be taken away by law and transferred to pharmaceutical interests.

We are a people here who believe in fairness.

This is not the time for New Zealand to become involved in an international effort to subvert regulatory safeguards.

This is not the time to restrict access to preventive health care.

This is not the time to allow suspected unhealthy synthetic ingredients to be included in natural health products.

This is not the time to restrict access to herbs and impose huge unjustified costs on traditional medicine.

This is a time for New Zealand to lead the world in the development of application of preventive approaches to health care.

The therapeutic products bill is currently up for public submissions up until February 15, 2023. Make a submission here.

Ask your MP to review this presentation, which shows that the bill relies upon outdated and discredited ideas.

Natural Health Products – More Government Overreach!

How will the 2023 Therapeutic Products Bill affect the Availability of Natural Health Products?

The NZ Govt is coming for your natural health products next – Cinnamon, Neem, Aloe Vera & more! (right when you were distracted with holidays)

You have just over a month to make a submission folks. This is a time worn tactic… timing is everything. The ridiculous thing too is, some of these items are common cooking ingredients! And comfrey, well I’ve just recently been wondering why am I not seeing that useful plant as much as I used to. Do you really still trust your leaders? How does this move promote the health & well being of NZ citizens? It doesn’t. It promotes the interests of those folk who meet at Davos, currently seeking to force more of their ‘safe and effectives’ upon you. EWR

From hatchardreport.com

Natural Products Regulation—An Overreach of Government Control

Civilisations come and go through the ages. When governments empower people, they harness the intelligence and creativity of their citizens for the good of all; when they seek to control their populations, they fall into decline.

Following three years of pandemic control, governments are not stopping there. Here in New Zealand, the government has introduced the “Therapeutic Products Bill,” which will control how products which appear to benefit health are manufactured, prescribed, imported, advertised, supplied and exported. According to Health Minister Andrew Little:

“It will enable New Zealand to take advantage of advances in medicine, such as cell and tissue therapies, emerging gene therapies, and the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning software. Having risk-proportionate approval systems will improve access to necessary and life-saving medicines, such as vaccines in a pandemic.”

An important part of the bill aims to regulate the natural health products used by more than 50% of our population. This is the third attempt of the Labour Party to introduce extreme regulation of the public’s options to choose their medical care, supplements and diet. Their earlier two attempts failed because of vocal public opposition. In 2017 Labour opted for a prohibited list of 300 common herbal ingredients ( for some of these see photo):

Control of Our Food Supply

It won’t have escaped your notice that many of these like Cinnamon and Mustard are currently sold in shops. So how on earth did they get onto a prohibited list? The answer lies in attempts to gain control of our food supply.

Natural products that are beneficial to health cannot be patented, but synthetic copies can be. To make this work, the products that grow in gardens need to be banned.

Labour and the Ministry of Health did not make this list up, the list was supplied by the International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities (ICMRA) of which Medsafe is a member. ICMRA is largely funded by the pharmaceutical industry whose interests they serve. You can read all about it in my book Your DNA Diet, available as a Kindle from Amazon or a hard copy from the Hatchard Report.

Labour says it has learned from prior public opposition. This time the Bill will not name any prohibited ingredients. Instead is an enabling bill, the type of legislation made famous by Adolf Hitler. The Bill establishes a new regulator headed by an independent statutory officer with a wide remit:

The new regulator will be responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and efficacy of natural products. It will design and implement proportionate, risk-based market authorisation pathways. Its functions will include, in addition to market authorisation, licensing controlled activities, post-market surveillance, and compliance.

These services will be funded through levies on the industry which are liable to be costly. Government regulatory schemes mooted in the last two attempts were likely to push small players out of the market due to the cost of compliance, as happened as a result of the Food Bill.

Crucially the Bill also includes a range of modern enforcement tools allowing for a graduated and proportionate response to breaches, including tiered criminal offences, strict liability offences, improved infringement notices and a civil pecuniary penalty regime.

In other words, the Bill appoints a new, as yet, unnamed regulator who is being empowered to do whatever he thinks fit to control the manufacture and availability of supplements. He could and is, in fact, very likely to publish a list of banned herbal ingredients soon after his appointment. The list is ready to go from the ICMRA database connected to Medsafe, courtesy of the pharmaceutical industry.

If we wish to be able to continue to freely chose herbal medicines and supplements without government interference, we will need to speak up. Go to this link to make a submission before February 15th. Write to your MP and complain that the appointment of a regulator amounts to an open ended blank cheque to control the use of products used by more than 50% of our population without fully specifying the principles he should use.

Natural Products Regulation—An Overreach of Government Control

The New Zealand Government Reaches for Total Medical Control

Natural Health Products – More Government Overreach!

How will the 2023 Therapeutic Products Bill affect the Availability of Natural Health Products?

The New Zealand Minister of Health has announced he will be introducing legislation later this year to control the availability of natural products (third attempt so far by Labour – Hatchard)

The ‘new world order’ aka globalists, (despite claims of equality for all) cannot abide you acquiring free and natural, health giving remedies … remember this from 2015? Time to save your heirloom seeds. EWR

Given the plethora of wannabe world rulers among the mega corporations, industrial and military powers, political ideologies, media and social media giants, big pharma, intergovernmental and judicial organisations currently competing for global influence, it is worth asking who actually rules the world? Who has the most power?

Undoubtedly the plant kingdom excels. Every individual in the world, in every nation, eats to live each day. Plants have enjoyed a coevolutionary symbiotic relationship with multicellular animal species for at least 500 million years. We have land and aquatic plants to thank for the oxygen we breathe.

Plants derive their timeless world sovereignty directly and continuously from the sun, the earth, and water. Ancient cultures have always revered and employed the life supporting properties of plants.

The ancient Rig Veda refers to them as ‘mothers of mankind’. Maori tradition as children of Tāne, the god of the forest, who separated earth and sky.

Our health and food security is inextricably tied up with that of the plant kingdom. We should make it a priority to protect the integrity of the plant world. We should seek to maintain an alliance with plants, not just in a metaphorical sense but in actuality use our knowledge and influence to sustain their sovereignty and protect their evolutionary genetic structures which underpin our own health.

Is the Sovereignty of Plants a Credible Global Political Agenda?

Respect for the sovereignty of plants dictates actions that can protect our world. Plants transcend national boundaries, their cultivation and use can unify the interests of diverse peoples. Within this concept lies the solution to many of the world’s problems:

Climate — Pollution — Hunger — Peace — Disease

The plants form an army that can defeat all these scourges of modern life.

The Materia Medica of Ayurveda, the ancient health system of India, records 5000 medicinal plants including the methods of their collection, use, and combination. Abbess Hildegard of Bingen enumerated multiple uses of herbs in the 12th century. These are just the tip of the iceberg, there are nearly 400,000 known species of plants.

Aside from food and medicine, throughout history they have been used to make furniture, cutlery and crockery, dwellings, transport, clothing, energy, and much more. All of this can be accomplished without causing pollution.

The Political Agenda of the Sovereign World of Plants:

  • Outlawing experimentation on the genetics of plants and animals
  • Rediscovering and valuing non-polluting skills that utilise plants and trees
  • Reviving the traditional herbal healing methods known by multiple cultures
  • Organic agriculture free of chemicals which exhaust the soil and kill bees
  • Teaching sustainable practices for gardening, horticulture, and agriculture
  • Managing climate change through planting and preservation
  • Improving food supply by increasing the use of plants in diets
  • International sharing and celebration of the wonders of plants
  • Outlawing patents on any genetic sequences derived from plants

Unlike political institutions, the capacity of plants to solve problems cannot be corrupted by power. Yet in our modern life, we have lost the sense of respect, utility, and thanks that plants deserve. We have forgotten the healing properties of plants and many of their other uses. Along with the families of animals, fish, and birds we have began to view them as something to exploit.

Control of the World’s Food Supply is the Ultimate Financial Prize

For the hungry mega corporations, wresting control of our food supply from nature is a mouth watering prospect. It appears to offer an assured source of income and profit stretching into the future. Concern for the consequences of commercial plant production and exploitation is notable by its absence.

Since the patenting of plants is outlawed by international patent law, particularly pharmaceutical and biotech companies have sought to usurp the sovereignty of plants by registering patents over key components of their genetic structures or by slightly altering and thus maiming their structure using genetic manipulation, and then patenting the resulting GM types.

Simultaneously commercial interests are seeking to restrict the use of medicinal herbs by promoting draconian regulation. Andrew Little, the New Zealand Minister of Health, has announced he will be introducing legislation later this year to control the availability of natural products. This will be the third attempt by the Labour Party to do so, two previous attempts were abandoned due to public opposition.

The International Coalition of Medicines Regulatory Authorities (ICMRA), of which Medsafe is a member, has a register of hundreds of traditional herbs and plants whose use it wishes to restrict whilst simultaneously approving over 3,000 synthetic or chemical copies. NZ plans to adopt their register.

9 ways ICMRA Members are Affecting Regulations Around the World

1. Herbs, Natural Health Products, and Traditional Medicines are being assessed as pharmaceuticals with a plan to establish regulations mandating standardised dosages of extracted or synthesised ‘active’ ingredients.

2. Database information is being shared between regulators from different countries which restricts herbs using the ‘Rule of Doubt’—absence of modern scientific information is sufficient to implement a ban despite a long term history of traditional safe use.

3. Herbs, vitamins, and remedies are then classified as medicines only available to be used by registered doctors. This grants medical authorities back door “patents” on indigenous plants that will have a global reach within all member countries without having to invoke patent law. Already hundreds of Ayurvedic, Chinese, and other traditional herbs have been stolen in this way, despite the fact that international law forbids the patenting of plants.

4. A bogus argument has been advanced that plants grown in soil are not standardised like pharmaceutical drugs and may vary slightly in composition. The supposed remedy is the production of synthetic copies of herbs and active ingredients in laboratories. They are approved for food and drink using the discredited principle of ‘Substantial Equivalence’ which allows manufacturers to adulterate traditional remedies and produce cheap ineffective copies without labelling—a process that is accelerating rapidly.

5. Many thousands of additives, preservatives, colourings, fragrances, and processing agents are being approved. In many cases, these substances have been implicated as causal factors in cancer, ADHD, and many other chronic illnesses.

6. Enforcement of Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT) testing and industrial manufacturing standards, sufficiently costly to bankrupt small and medium sized companies, which will gift competitive advantage to global companies.

7. Compulsory proprietary information collection on Natural Health Products and traditional herbs which will inevitably be shared with pharmaceutical companies through revolving doors and cosy relationships allowing the commercial appropriation of traditional knowledge.

8. The new standards being proposed are setting the maximum daily dose of nutritional supplements equal to the minimum proven therapeutic dose. For example studies show that the minimum effective dose of vitamin B12 is 50mcg which is being set as the maximum dose allowed in supplements. This means that retail B12 supplements will be ineffective in treating B12 deficiencies. Only a medical doctor will be permitted to prescribe the larger effective doses. Retail supplements produced by natural health companies with restricted doses will fall into disuse, in favour of synthetics sold by pharmaceutical and nutraceutical giants as prescribed medicines.

9. Regulatory-style laws hand control of natural medicine regulation to ICMRA rather than national governments. This subverts national sovereignty, undermines indigenous knowledge, and takes the right to choose natural medical treatment away from people everywhere.

New Global Regulation Threatens Alternative Approaches to Health Just When Science is Verifying Their Effectiveness

Modern research has shown that development and treatment of disease is affected by a great number of individual factors including: digestion, diet, genetics, lifestyle, environment, climate, psychology, relationships, fatigue, stress, comorbidities, age, and gender.

Traditional medicine offers a range of individualised approaches to healthcare that take account of these wide range of factors. Traditional and functional medicine involve the care of a skilled and knowledgeable physician to prevent ill health and restore good health by strengthening physiological processes, digestion, and re-establishing balance.

In Contrast Modern Medicine is in Crisis

  • Antibiotic and anti-fungal resistance threatens to render routine operations life-threatening by 2050.
  • Healthcare costs and chronic disease incidence are increasing so rapidly, that healthcare is being rationed in many countries.
  • More than 50% of the population now suffer from chronic diseases.
  • Adverse reactions to prescription drugs are now the third leading cause of death.
  • New diseases are emerging and old diseases re-emerging.

The List of Planned Restrictions is Surprisingly Wide

The shopping list of those planning to cut off our access to traditional remedies is very long and largely incomprehensible until you realise that there are commercial companies seeking to control their supply and secure the profits that can be made via monopoly control based on over regulation.

Even common kitchen herbs and spices have not escaped the notice of regulators taking inexplicable decisions to suit commercial interests.

More than 50% of the public have been using their own money to buy natural health products. This supports individual health and reduces the financial burden of public healthcare. This advantage will be lost if the new restrictions are introduced, leaving the public without medical choice and governments in the hands of international pharmaceutical monopolies. New scientific findings are coming to light that plant genetics plays a role in supporting health which cannot be provided by synthetic production. Genetic information in plants is the missing element in our understanding of nutrition. Therefore the proposals to regulate, restrict, and exploit plants in every country pose a threat to the sources of our human genetic stability. We have shared our long journey of evolution with plants. The present time of global crisis is not the time to forget or destroy our long-time supporters who are silently offering us a life line in troubled times, as they have throughout past ages. Please share this information widely with your friends. Contact your MP now to register your opposition to the proposed new regulations.

It is officially spring when little yellow flowers begin to pop up in the thousands, turning every lawn into a star-studded carpet worthy of applause.

Not everyone thinks the same way though. Much has been written about how to kill this pesky “weed”, to eliminate it from our monocultured green lawns forever.

Instead, what if we embraced the beauty – and medicine – that dandelions have to offer from root, stem and flower?

What if we let the dandelions bloom, unsprayed, to feed bees and wildlife around us?

HEMP: A controversial crop that’s been demonized for at least 80 years

hemp has run the proverbial gauntlet in the U.S. due to political dissent, special interests and downright suspicion.1 Nevertheless, every bit of this ancient plant is useful and valuable, and not just for rope,2 but for auto parts,3 cosmetics, textiles and medicine as well.4 In ancient China, hemp was used as food and medicine.5

Today, you’ll find nutty-tasting hemp seeds in various products, such as hemp seed butter, energy bars, meal, oil and even milk.6 It’s a niche market with a growing number of specialty outlets due to an increased understanding of this food’s nutritional benefits.

Hemp is cultivated in at least 30 countries, with Canada as one of the world’s top growers. In fact, much of the U.S. supply comes from this country.7 Worldwide, hemp seed production alone has soared from around 33,000 metric tons in the late ’90s to more than 100,000 metric tons annually between 2005 and 2011.8

In 1938, Popular Mechanics called hemp the “Billion Dollar Crop,”9 praising its potential to produce over 25,000 different products, from dynamite to cellophane. However, American industrialists led by newspaper mogul William Randolph Hearst (who owned paper mills) and DuPont executives had begun processing petroleum to create plastics, and had become disgruntled by the way hemp cut into their market shares. In an article by Dr. David Bearman on HuffPost, he writes that these two parties were “the force behind the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937.”10

This perpetuated what may be one of the country’s biggest frauds. Part of the confusion is that many people assume hemp and marijuana are one and the same, especially since they inexplicably share the scientific name Cannabis sativa.11 While they both belong to the same plant species, they’re two distinct varieties.12

Virgin Coconut Oil Supplementation Improves Diabetic Related Kidney Dysfunction

by Crystal Lauer
Health Impact News

With Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) on the rise, and its clear relationship to unmanaged blood sugar and blood pressure unquestioned, virgin coconut oil is proving a valuable addition to the fight with ameliorate kidney function parameters in suffers of CKD and can even be protective for those at risk for the disease.

Lowering your risk for kidney dysfunction rests largely on lifestyle changes, but for change to occur in something so entrenched as an individual’s lifestyle, there is a need for impetus, and despite the fact that over 37 million people in the US alone are estimated to have CKD, many of those are completely unaware of the slippery slope they are currently on or headed towards.

For many people with damaged kidney function, the first they’ll hear of it is during a doctor’s visit, after damage has already begun and is revealed through blood and urine tests.

This ignorance of their condition stems from the lack of concerning symptoms, which would normally alert an individual to the presence of illness or disease and signify a need for change.

Manuka honey fights antibiotic-resistant bacteria plus so much more

(NaturalHealth365)  The steadily worsening problem of antibiotic-resistant pathogens – cause for grave concern in the medical community – has researchers working overtime to discover solutions.  But several studies raise hope that Manuka honey may hold the key to combating MRSA and other drug-resistant strains.

In one study conducted at Cardiff Metropolitan University and published in 2012 in Microbiology, researchers moved closer to understanding the mechanisms by which honey inhibits the formation of biofilms – difficult-to-treat communities of bacteria – and helps to clear chronic wounds.

Manuka honey quickly incapacitates infection-causing bacteria

Researchers found that Manuka honey produced in New Zealand and Australia has the ability to attack a common bacteria, Streptococcus pyogenes, often responsible for chronic infections, as well as the destruction of skin grafts.  In fact, it took only modest concentrations of honey to kill 85 percent of the biofilms in a Petri dish – within two hours.

And, S. pyogenes isn’t the only pathogen susceptible to honey – numerous studies demonstrate that Manuka honey is antiviral, antifungal, and active against 80 different species of bacteria, including E. coli, P. aeruginosa, and methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA.  The team noted that there are no instances of any type of honey-resistant bacteria on record.

Remarking that honey was both cheaper and safer than conventional drugs, they called for its use as a complementary therapy in conjunction with antibiotics.

Amazing! New research links chili peppers to a LOWER risk of disease

(NaturalHealth365) With coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic dominating the media for close to two years, news of developments in scientific research appears to have been somewhat eclipsed.  For example, a report from the Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics contained exciting findings about the ability of capsaicin in chili peppers to fight deadly diseases and reduce the odds of premature death.  One would think that the reveal of a potentially lifesaving dietary intervention would have made more of a “splash” in the mainstream scientific community … but, unfortunately, the pharmaceutical industry controls the media.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, cancer – second only to heart disease as a cause of death – claimed close to 600,000 lives in 2019 alone, leading researchers to search for new and effective treatments.  Recent studies have raised hopes that capsaicin could be among them.

Let’s see what the research reveals.

Capsaicin in chili peppers linked to lower risk of heart disease, cancer, and death from all causes

The scientific review, which involved 570,000 people in four different countries and three different continents, was conducted by researchers at the renowned Cleveland Clinic.  The team found that people who regularly ate capsaicin-rich chili peppers enjoyed a significant 23 percent lower risk of dying from cancer.

Coconut Oil’s History in Destroying Viruses

Comments by Brian Shilhavy
Editor, Health Impact News

People living in the Philippines, a country of islands not very far off the coast of China, remember all too well the last time a deadly coronavirus epidemic broke out in China.

It was 2003 when the SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome) coronavirus broke out in China. It infected over 7000 people in China with over 600 recorded deaths.

Even with its close proximity to China and large Chinese population in the Philippine nation of about 80 million people, only 14 cases of SARS was reported with two recorded deaths.

Must see!: After 9 Years Including 21 Days in Solitary Confinement Canada Drops Charges Against Parents Charged with Failure to Vaccinate Child Who Died

A must see … particularly watch the longer video where David describes the ordeal this family went through. Hear him describe the corruption they encountered every step of the way. Justice at last for this family. EWR

From Health Impact News

After 9 years of legal battles against the government of Canada, David Stephan announced on his Facebook Page this weekend that all charges had been dropped against him and his wife over the death of one of their children, where he and his wife were singled out by the Canadian government to be made an example of what happens when one dares to take on Big Pharma. A champion of Health Freedom for years, when the young son of David and Collet Stephan died in what is now known as gross negligence by the medical system, the authorities tried to make an example of the Stephans for their way of life that included trusting God and generally not using pharmaceutical products when natural remedies were available. They were charged with “failure to vaccinate” their child and blamed for his death, in the hopes of setting Canadian policy that failure to use Big Pharma sanctioned products by parents was the same thing as withholding the basic necessities of life from children, such as food, water, and air. When their case against the Stephans did not go as they planned and massive corruption was uncovered, they turned to the corporate media in Canada to control the narrative, and for a while it worked, as millions of people, not only in Canada but around the world, vilified this couple and branded them as criminals for allegedly withholding proper medical treatment that they thought would have saved their child.
