African President of Burundi dies suddenly after expelling WHO for false pandemic

Jun 16, 2020 – President of Burundi Pierre Nkurunziza, 55, has died “following a cardiac arrest”. The sudden death comes as a surprise as he had been evaluated recently as being in good overall health.

But controversy has emerged in the African country as local pundits have suggested that his death could have been the consequence of poisoning.

Less than a month ago, the Burundian government ordered the expulsion of experts from the World Organization of Health (WHO) responsible for ‘advising’ on the false pandemic COVID-19.

The President and his Ministry of Foreign Affairs had declared that the WHO representatives would henceforth be ‘persona non grata’, that is not welcome on Burundian territory. For information, to date, and despite its courageous opposition to the WHO, Burundi officially declared only one COVID death. This is compared gainst around 30,000 dead in France, who are largely enslaved by the ‘recommendations’ of the WHO.

The unexpected death of Nkurunziza is reminiscent of the mysterious plane crash of Polish President Lech Kaczyński in 2009, in which he was killed shortly after he refused the vaccine made by the WHO against the H1N1 flu.

Jacinda’s COVID Coup – How do we take our country back?

Jacinda Ardern is now the ‘poster politician’ of the world. She ‘crushed the curve’ and showed the world how to act ‘early and decisively’ to defeat this unprecedented threat to New Zealand and the world. It sounds good. It looks good. We can quite rightly be proud Kiwis leading the world. Or can we?

Underneath the daily COVID media circus, was it actually something very different? Was it in fact New Zealand’s darkest hour? Did Jacinda Ardern, under the direction of the United Nations and very powerful global financial and corporate influencers, just commit the most devastating attack on our nation’s sovereignty and freedom in our short history? Was this in fact Jacinda Ardern’s COVID Coup? If it was, what can the people of New Zealand now do about it?

In 1915-16 at Gallipoli, New Zealand lost around 0.3% of our entire population. It was the most devastating episode of our nation’s history. Those Kiwis died in the mission of fighting to protect the sovereignty and freedom of both New Zealand and other nations. In 2020, it may well be that Kiwis have a new and very different looking ‘Gallipoli moment’, but the threat to our nation’s sovereignty and freedom may well be our most severe ever. On the back of an historically unprecedented lock-down of society, New Zealand as a nation needs to look at this situation very quickly and very seriously. We need to push aside the media propaganda circus and try to assess this situation with a clear mind and true heart. We have no choice but to do this. There is no hiding from this fact, as we have all just experienced.

Let’s take a look at the reality of COVID-19 as we know it now. What the impact has been, and will be, on New Zealand from the actions taken. What has Jacinda Ardern and the New Zealand government really been doing here? It requires the most stringent examination and consideration by the people of New Zealand, RIGHT NOW.

We now know that the severity of the threat of COVID-19 was vastly over-stated by the ‘global advisors’. Neil Ferguson, at Imperial College in London, provided the original projections of tens of millions of deaths globally, based on his computer modelling for which he has a career track record of getting catastrophically wrong. The World Health Organisation (WHO) then adopted Ferguson’s projections, without considering all the other world renowned scientists providing contradictory analysis, and came up with, through extremely ‘dubious methodology’, their own COVID-19 projected mortality rate of 3.4% . A devastating mortality rate when compared to normal flu mortality rate of around 0.1%. This included a projection of 80,000 deaths in New Zealand.

These figures by Imperial College and the WHO are now completely discredited (1). Doctors and scientists all over the world have now come forward with the real-life data showing that the true mortality rate of COVID-19 is in reality very similar to normal flu, but with a very high skewing towards the elderly and health vulnerable (2). Bill Gates funds the Imperial College and is also the number one funder of the WHO, having given them billions of dollars. Bill Gates and the WHO are more or less the same thing. Bill Gates also funds the Pirbright Institute in the UK that in 2015 was granted the patent rights for Corona Virus. Yes, you read that correctly. Bill Gates effectively owns the patent for Corona Virus. In October 2019 Bill Gates also funded and supported ‘Event 201’, a global workshop on how nations could best respond to a hypothetical catastrophic global pandemic of Corona Virus (3) . Two months later the world got that exact scenario. Bill Gates seems to be extremely strongly connected to every single element of COVID-19/Corona Virus, before, during, and after this global event. In 2019 Bill Gates signed off a $100 billion Contact Tracing contract (4). What did he know was coming? He has also set himself up to potentially provide the world with the COVID-19 vaccine solutions, potentially worth hundreds of billions, if not trillions of dollars. In his own words, people will not be able to return to ‘normal society’ until they have received (his) vaccine and his ID2020 solution which combines his two main loves in life, which are vaccines and human tracking technology that can be implanted together inside the human body (5) .

The world is starting to catch up with all this now. On social media during lock-down, the theme #ExposeBillGates went globally viral on social media. This led to many large street protests in the United States and Australia where protestors ignored lock-down orders to take to the streets to demand the arrest of Bill Gates. The United States have now de-funded and broken ties with the WHO/Bill Gates on the back of COVID-19. Italy are now demanding the same thing , and Neil Ferguson has resigned in disgrace from Imperial College (6). Yet despite us now knowing all these things, the narrative of the ‘COVID Catastrophe’ continues in New Zealand and around the world through daily media and political spin and misinformation. Yes, we should take reasonable and appropriate precautions for the virus, but the actions need to be proportionate to the severity of the threat, and they need to be consistent with the OVERALL welfare of the New Zealand people.

So what has been the true impact, the real implications for New Zealand of the government response? The COVID response saw the largest removal of human rights in history, the country was put into a level of financial debt that will take generations to repay, small businesses across the country have been crushed out of existence, hundreds of thousands unemployed, and poverty and suicides sky rocketing.

In response to COVID-19, somewhere in the vicinity of $6-7 trillion was borrowed globally to help cover the costs of lock-down. In New Zealand, Jacinda Ardern borrowed more that $50 billion to keep us all happy with our grants and pay outs while being locked up. The entire world suddenly got put into enormous debt and whoever lent that money just got enormously powerful. Who lent Jacinda Ardern that money? We absolutely need to know, and we absolutely need to know what the conditions of that loan were. Because whoever it was, they now control or dictate how New Zealand operates. That’s how these things work. Does New Zealand still have its national sovereignty, or has Jacinda Ardern effectively sold that?

Was this all linked through the World Economic Forum in some way, which is the sister organisation of the United Nations, which is the sister organisation of the WHO/Bill Gates? The ‘Event 201’ global Corona Virus training exercise conducted in October 2019 was conducted in partnership by the World Economic Forum and Bill Gates. On the back of COVID-19, the sister organisations of the World Economic Forum, the United Nations and the WHO/Bill Gates, have since recommended to the world that 10% of every country’s GDP be paid to them. That is approximately $8.7 trillion per year (7). Something is smelling very bad here.

Then we have the NZ COVID-19 Public Health Response Bill (8). Some people have referred to this as Jacinda Ardern’s ‘God Bill’, because it gives Jacinda Ardern the power to do almost anything she likes. It gives her the power for Police Officers or ‘Enforcement Officers’ to forcibly enter homes and other premises without any due process or evidence, detain people, and put them into isolated confinement for an undetermined period of time. It allows Jacinda Ardern to order the shut-down of a business or businesses at her discretion as she feels necessary, and allows her to ban public gathering to protest, which is one of the foundations of the Bill of Rights and freedom of speech (9). The new Internet Filtering Bill is also something that looks potentially alarming in its move towards government powers to decide what type of information and messages the New Zealand public can and can’t communicate.

These are all government powers and individual powers of enormous significance. The Public Health Response Bill completely overrides the New Zealand Bill of Rights, which is the single biggest protection of human rights that the people of New Zealand have. This is not reflective of a democratic and free society. This is much more reflective of what countries with dictatorships and tyranny look like. Not New Zealand. Remember, these extreme looking government powers have been rushed through parliament, and many more are currently being rushed through, on the back of something that has now been confirmed as having a mortality rate similar to normal flu. We need to stop and think. Does this make rational sense? If it doesn’t, then we need to ask ourselves why it doesn’t make sense.

Who would want to own a small business in New Zealand now? Small local businesses are the life blood and the backbone of the New Zealand community. But more and more we see this being engulfed by big corporations and big government. COVID-19 has put that trend onto steroids. Now we also have the military taking over COVID-19 quarantine. What’s going to be next?

A very disturbing aspect of the whole global COVID-19 event is that so many of the extreme measures that have been implemented in New Zealand and around the world are very consistent with a direction towards United Nations Agenda 21, which has now been morphed into United Nations Agenda 2030. If people in New Zealand don’t know what UN Agenda 21 and UN Agenda 2030 are, they need to research this. Quite urgently. The United Nations and the WHO/Bill Gates have a very clear blueprint for how they want the world to look and operate in the future. That blueprint for the world is VERY different to how today’s global society looks. It is based on an extremely restrictive society and extremely restrictive way of life, based on a total command and control structure, tracking and control of every aspect of people’s lives, and dictated from a centralised global power structure. It also includes Bill Gates’ ID2020 plans described earlier. Agenda 21/30 is not a way of life that most people in the world would be sprinting towards and embracing by choice. But COVID-19 sure did introduce and acclimatise the public to a lot of the features of the Agenda 21/30 blueprints. Many of the UN Agenda 21/30 templates and community behaviours have now been established for the future through COVID-19, whether that comes through COVID-19 Part 2, or something else down the track.

An important point to note here. Jacinda Ardern spent significant and focussed time in 2019 with both the United Nations and Bill Gates, and pledged to lead the world in implementing their plans (10). She appears to be true to her word on that front.

So, is New Zealand being run by a government representing New Zealand, or is it being run by the United Nations, the WHO/Bill Gates, and others? There are some very disturbing looking things at play here. As highlighted earlier, right now may well be New Zealand’s new ‘Gallipoli moment’. Our country, our sovereignty, our freedom, and our way of life look to be in severe jeopardy.

So what can be done about it? How can the people of New Zealand fight such high levels of corruption and such powerful global influences and threats to our country? To try to fight this it cannot be anything that vaguely resembles political business as usual. The big traditional political parties of National and Labour are both going to be completely controlled and obedient to this power structure. That is the law of the jungle in geo-politics at the moment unfortunately. A very dark level of corruption has taken hold and has been embedded very deeply, very strongly, and very widely.

The only possible way is for a true bottom up, grass roots political uprising. It will require New Zealand government to actually be taken back by ‘non politicians’. By people who actually don’t want the power and influence that comes with that. We are seeing this developing in New Zealand right now. We are seeing a big rise in new political parties, driven by non politicians. Driven instead by patriotic Kiwis who actually have no desire to be politicians, but who just want to fight to get their country back for the people of New Zealand and for the Kiwi way of life.

It has to be this way. There has to be a seismic shift in who and how New Zealand is run. Right at the top of the list of what will be needed is a ‘People’s Constitution of NZ’. A core framework of human rights and values for New Zealand which sits at the very top of the New Zealand legal framework as the supreme law of the land. Something that cannot be overridden by someone like Jacinda Ardern taking instructions from someone like Bill Gates. The power of big decision making needs to swing back much more into the hands of the people so that career politicians can’t just sell off New Zealand’s sovereignty and freedom.

These are things that are easy to say, but mighty difficult to do. There is no denying that. But the people of New Zealand have to throw everything at this, RIGHT NOW. The situation is very time urgent. This is New Zealand’s new Gallipoli. Courageous and committed people are standing up around New Zealand and drawing their line in the sand to ‘fight’ this right now.

So far, two new political parties have come forward and pledged to run specifically on the agenda of creating a ‘People’s Constitution of NZ’ as described above. The NZ Outdoors Party have pledged to do this, and leading Environmental Lawyer Sue Grey is driving the party on that front (11). Renowned international musician Billy Te Kahika has stepped up and is now inspiring a dramatic rise of a new political party, the NZ Public Party (12). His speech in Auckland on June 11^th to a packed house to launch the new party laid out a clear framework for returning power from the United Nations power grab and global power systems, back to the New Zealand people, and back to New Zealand sovereignty (13). Other parties and other committed Kiwis are stepping up with similar messages and similar agendas right across New Zealand.

A grass roots political revolution driven by real Kiwis may well be blowing in the winds when spring hits in the lead up to the September election. Will this be the cure for COVID-19? New Zealand desperately needs it. Support for this is spreading rapidly across New Zealand. It’s spreading like…….well…….a virus.

The investigative duo, in their first interview since that bombshell Congressional testimony, revealed to Paine that representatives from the Gates Foundation met with U.S. Congressman Bobby L. Rush at a sit down in Rwanda, East Africa in mid August 2019 to hash out who would score the windfall from a government contact tracing program. And just last month — nine months after the meetings with the Gates Foundation in Rwanda — Rush, a Democrat from Illinois, introduced the $100 BILLION H.R. 6666, the COVID-19 Testing, Reaching and Contacting Everyone (TRACE) Act.

The alleged murders nobody is investigating: Military nurse at COVID epicenter hospital (Rappoport)

Since posting this article by Jon Rappoport I’ve watched almost the entire video he cites. It truly is shocking. This dear nurse who is a real nurse, describes that public hospital in terms of facilities as no better than third world hospitals she’s worked in. And basically the staff in this hospital, they literally don’t care. These are poor and coloured patients. Diagnosed with covid regardless even if tested negative, intubated & on a ventilator which means you’re pretty much dead. Gone. Once you get on the vent, that’s it. Very low survival rate. They were alone, no family with them (not allowed remember) so it’s carte blanche for those in control. She describes a man who turned out to have done drugs so the sedation they give all these patients (that ‘takes care’ of the discomfort of the ventilator & any objections by the patient) did not affect him; he eventually pulled the tube out & is the only one she knew of there that survived. She describes the arguing over the bed of a dying patient, resigned to death by the other staff member she fought for his life. Not all are of that ilk she says, some are good doctors, some are good nurses, but from higher up the orders come & nobody will question them. They are afraid to speak out. If you watch the video you will learn a lot regarding future scenarios you may find yourself in. And yes, I forgot to add, all treatments that have worked elsewhere (the nurse describes them – high success rates) are not allowed. Go and figure. EWR

Her name is Erin Marie Olszewski. She’s a military nurse. She worked at the hospital that’s touted as being at the very center of the global pandemic, in terms of numbers of cases and deaths.

Her video is out there. Infowars has it among their banned videos. David Icke has it. Solari.com has it. The Brighteon platform has it. Others have it. It’s devastating testimony, first-hand, from Erin’s undercover investigation inside the Elmhust Hospital in Queens, New York, “the epicenter of the COVID epicenter.”

But this isn’t about the virus. It’s about murder at the hospital. That’s Erin’s assessment and conclusion, after working at Elmhurst.

I’ll boil down essentials of her findings:

At the hospital, poverty-stricken patients, mostly black and Latino, come in and are tested for COVID-19. When the conventional tests read negative—meaning no COVID—some of these people are nevertheless marked down as COVID-19 cases.

That puts them on a train to death.

For no good reason, they’re placed on breathing ventilators. They’re sedated, to keep them from moving around and feeling the discomfort and pain of the invasive intubation.

But these patients are HEAVILY sedated for long periods. As much as a MONTH.

Completely cut off from the outside world, they never wake up.

This is no mystery. Any medical professional, doctor or nurse, WOULD KNOW DEATH IS THE INEVITABLE OUTCOME. It’s a protocol for killing.

The NZ govt is Making up the rules as they go along

As yet another “red flag” (and I do mean RED) of this government’s instability and whimsical dealings, in the last few weeks they announced a further wage subsidy for businesses affected by COVID 19. When they first announced it they offered assistance to businesses with a downturn of at least 50% of their revenue from the preceding year (2019) from January to June 9th. They then altered that to only 30% decrease required to qualify. On 5th June they announced it would be 40% and only using the period 40 days prior to the day the application was made compared to the equivalent period for 2019 for the subsidy!

Are you understanding what I just wrote? If not read it carefully and read the following link if you don’t believe me! This is literally “making up the rules as we go along”! Don’t even try to ask them why; the “reasons” or “justifications” will be as valid as those of a cheating lover trying to explain away the lipstick on the collar!

So yes they’ve taken Del Bigtree’s video down, more evidence of how they don’t want you finding out the truth. Never mind, I saw it and can vouch, the insert that I screen shot down below there tells you what the death rate was for THEIR testing of the product. No denying it. Why are they censoring the manufacturer’s facts people? Wake up! It IS true because the manufacturer said so . Only reason left that they are censoring is because they don’t want YOU to know that the vaccine has a higher death risk than that of the cv that we’ve all been locked up for weeks over. …. and as we’re all becoming aware now, there’s a cv vax coming down the pipe sooner than any vaccine should it normally takes years to trial … and they will want you to have that vaccine come hell or high water. And… they have the perfect setting now…

So you’re being asked to beef up your immunity against the virus, by getting your flu shot…. that the data shows (their own testing) has a higher death rate than the dreaded virus … now go figure. EWR

Watch this video as they have looked carefully at it. Basically wherever you go now you may be required to prove you are not infected. You may also find you’ll be phoned up because you were in contact with somebody who is infected … at the local shop, the park, a cafe. And you didn’t even know. Here we are being told to keep track of where we go, innocuously at the moment of course, but it’s easy to see where it is headed. Get the app, make it easy…. Right now they are boasting about NZ’s success with infection, meanwhile the lockdown rules continue pretty much. Wake up folks. EWR

“A world of tighter top-down government control and more authoritarian leadership …” the intent is right from the Rockefeller horse’s mouth. And is it not right now looking just like a police state?

Until recently you were not allowed to visit Aunt Edna across the country & folk even in NZ have been receiving visits from the law enforcement for no particular reason. As at January 2021, there is a long list of restrictions of freedoms, all ushered in with the virus. Just one example, people have been arrested for filming any evidence that illustrates a contradiction of statements from the ‘authorities’, for instance the overcrowded hospital in the UK that wasn’t. In other countries they are being arrested (Australia) for peacefully protesting (Canada). Folk are now required to leave their personal contact details if they shop anywhere leaving them open for further visits by Police (if you happened to have been in contact with an infected person even when neither of you knew) and Police are now allowed to enter your premises without a search warrant. All of course in the name of your safety & happening elsewhere as we speak. And based on a crisis that has a death rate of 0.2%, no worse than seasonal flu. This all changed in NZ when draconian laws got passed with nary a protest from anybody except one sole MP. All kudos to Simon O’Connor for that.

If you doubt that the end game is a Police State scenario, keep watching as the controls increase. On p18 of the Rockefeller document you will see the surveillance cameras at the top of the page. These people have made no secret of their plans. They’re right there in plain sight if you want to look. Unfortunately most folk prefer to keep on listening to mainstream fairyland media and ignore what’s really going on right under their noses. Guess who owns mainstream fairyland? The scenario of martial law is described in a futuristic manner in this Rockefeller Foundation document, as a scenario that’s already happened:

“One important — and novel — component of our strategy toolkit is scenario planning, a process of creating narratives about the future based on factors likely to affect a particular set of challenges and opportunities”. (document intro)

From the Foundation’s statement of purpose: “The Rockefeller Foundation supports work that expands opportunity and strengthens resilience to social, economic, health, and environmental challenges — affirming its pioneering philanthropic mission, since 1913, to “promote the well-being” of humanity.”

Now interestingly, 1913 is the year they passed the Federal Reserve Act & heisted the Federal Reserve which is their private corporation and not a state banking system … their statement would be better worded “promote the well-being of we the bankers”:

In 1913, a Senator, Nelson Aldrich, maternal grandfather to the Rockefellers, pushed the Federal Reserve Act through Congress just before Christmas when much of Congress was on vacation (Reference 3, 4, 5). When elected, Wilson passed the FED. Later, Wilson remorsefully replied (referring to the FED), “I have unwittingly ruined my country”

Note also JFK acted to remove their monopoly on banking & interest profiteering in 1963, the same year he was assassinated (read here)

We live in a time of crisis the likes of which the world has never seen before, and with each passing day comes further confusion and disorientation about what happens next. As we previously reported, President Trump has gone from being a staunch anti-vaxxer to being a COVID-19 vaccination cheerleader. Now today he told Fox News that he is mobilizing the US military to distribute the COVID-19 vaccine when it’s ready, probably at the end of the year. Vaccinations at the point of a gun? Yep, looks like that’s where we are at the moment.

For legal reasons I cannot tell you what you should do about receiving a COVID-19 vaccination shot, but I sure can tell you what I will do. Not even the assembled might of the United States military could compel me to do that. I have told you all many, many times now, yes, Bill Gates is one of the major players but he is not the only player. Don’t have your eyes on any one person, or you’ll miss it. It’s a system, a global system.

Trump says he would mobilize military to distribute coronavirus vaccine when it’s ready

FROM CBS NEWS: “We’re mobilizing our military and other forces but we’re mobilizing our military on the basis that we do have a vaccine. You know, it’s a massive job to give this vaccine. Our military is now being mobilized so at the end of the year we’re going to be able to give it to a lot of people very, very rapidly,” the president said.

“We will have a tremendous force because assuming we get it, then you have to distribute it,” he added. “And unless you’re mobilized and ready, you’re not going to be able to do it for a long time. So we’re starting now.”

The president said he expects a vaccine to be available by the end of this year, a very optimistic timeline given that many experts, including Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Anthony Fauci, say it will take at least 12 to 18 months. The virus has killed more than 84,000 Americans so far, as states begin to reopen their economies. The president indicated he expects that number to continue to climb.

“We will lose over 100,000, perhaps, in this country,” the president said in the interview that aired Thursday.

A CBS News poll released Thursday shows 43% of Americans think the president is doing a good job handling the virus, down from 48% in April and 53% in March.

Most Americans also don’t trust the president for information about the virus, the poll found. Only 38% of Americans said they do, compared with 61% who trust their governor and 62% who trust Fauci. READ MORE

A California doctor says he has seen a year’s worth of suicides in the last four weeks of lockdown.

More people reportedly died of suicide in one Tennessee county than from coronavirus across the whole state.

A spokesperson for the Well Being Trust in Oakland, CA issued a report that predicts up to 75,000 deaths from drug or alcohol abuse and suicide directly caused by lockdowns due to the coronavirus. Fear, dread and isolation are the words used to describe these deaths of despair. Fear of unemployment, no future, forced vaccination, have caused many to give up hope. This report emanates from California where the governor just prolonged the forced lockdown another 90 days.

Here is a presentation from New Zealander Billy Te Kahika on NZ’s current situation and the virus. He has served in NZ as a Policeman, a firefighter and a soldier in the NZ Army.. This would be the best presentation on topic from a Kiwi I’ve heard yet. He places today’s happenings with the current virus in the context of Agenda 2030 including the proposed one world government (aka new world order) and all that that entails. Well worth the listen. Nobody that I’ve noticed except those dubbed by the sleeping masses as ‘conspiracy theorists’. So we’ve had two months of virtual house arrest followed by the inability to shop without leaving contact details (over a plague with a 0.2% death rate). I’m all for the precautionary principle however this overkill has destroyed many lives. Note, Police can now enter your home without a search warrant. Madagascar Threatens to Quit World Health Organization for Suppressing COVID-19 Cure

The President of Madagascar, Andry Rajoelina has called on all African Nations to quit the World Health Organization (WHO) because of the bad faith of Europe towards Africa.

The Malagasy president says,

Europe created organizations with the desire for Africans to remain dependent on them. Africa has found a medicine against Coronavirus but Europe thinks they have a monopoly of intelligence as such they are refusing to acknowledge it. It is against this backdrop that I invite all African Nations to quit the international organizations in order for us to build ours.

Rajoelina has put his reputation and credibility on the line touting the medicine as a cure. He said it cures COVID-19 in 10 days.

“No one will stop us from moving forward – not a country, not an organisation,” Rajoelina said in response to the WHO’s concerns.

He said the proof of the tonic’s efficacy was in the “healing” of “our patients”.

He called the medicine a “preventive and curative remedy”.

Rajoelina said Madagascar till date, has reported 212 coronavirus infections and 107 recoveries.

The country has one critical case, but no death.

“The patients who have healed have taken no other product than Covid-Organics,” the president said, adding that his country has a history of traditional medicine.

“What if this remedy had been discovered by a European country, instead of Madagascar?”, Rajoelina queried WHO and other skeptics.

“Would people doubt it so much? I don’t think so,” Rajoelina told FRANCE 24 and RFI .

The drink is derived from artemisia – a plant with proven anti-malarial properties – and other indigenous herbs.

These people were off to an AIDS conference in Australia. This info is of relevance right now in light of the current virus situation classed as a pandemic. It is not new news, some will already be aware of it. (The article is originally of Italian origin hence the translation in paragraphs. Glenn Thomas was one of two prominent experts who were heading to the conference along with 100 other researchers. According to the article Thomas planned to highlight trial operations of the Ebola virus that had been going on in a lab in the hospital at Kenema in Sierra Leone, a lab the Sierra Leone government had recently shut down. They never made it as they were shot down over Ukraine, their aircraft being the MH17. No mention of the researchers or their destination in Wikipedia either … predictably. Henry Kron and his wife Helen had just enjoyed a family dinner time with their two pre-teen daughters, Leanne and Elise. Henry headed to the coat closet to get the girls’ favorite board game off the top shelf.

He had promised that this would be “game night” and they were all looking forward to it.

Actually, life was just starting to look good again after the extended lockdown during the global pandemic. That one had cost Henry his last job and finding a new job was next to impossible with 40 million other Americans out of work at the same time.

In fact, the lack of income for several months left them unable to make their house payment for two months in row. They came within an inch of being foreclosed. Their retirement fund wasn’t large, but it took the whole thing just to get caught up.

With a lot of hard work and a bit of luck, Henry had finally landed a good job. Even though he would be on probation for the first 90 days, he was determined to do whatever it would take to keep the job.

Just as they decided who would get to roll the dice to start the game, the doorbell rang.

Henry went to the door thinking “Who would call on us at this time of the evening?” He certainly was not expecting anyone.

As he opened the door, there stood a soldier in a crisp, clean fatigue uniform.

MINT PRESS NEWS — America’s billionaires have seen their wealth increase by 12.5 percent during the COVID-19 lockdown period. The Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), a Washington, D.C.-based think tank, released a study Thursday showing that, in the eight weeks between March 18 and May 14, the country’s super wealthy have added a further $368.8 billion to their already enormous fortunes.

Among the more famous big winners during the pandemic include Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, who adds $21 billion to his net worth (a 38 percent increase). Failed Democratic presidential contender Michael Bloomberg is up $10 billion as well, meaning he has recouped ten times as much as he lost in his big money political campaign that went nowhere. Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has increased his fortune by around $6 billion as well.

Why does it take a pandemic for the NZ corporation to suddenly care about the homeless?

So … suddenly now, after a two month lockdown whilst the world teeters on the edge of economic collapse & suicide stats skyrocket, the NZ corporation parading as a government is borrowing more millions because it suddenly cares about the homeless (having sold off, along with preceding corporations, a large chunk of our perfectly good state housing stock for a song to property developers & the like). Oh that’s right, it’s election year. This can by the way was kicked on down the road around 6 months into Labour’s current term. When last we mentioned this issue the count was at 43K homelessand rising. EWR

Housing Minister Megan Woods announced the funding today, saying it would help vulnerable New Zealanders during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.

Some $31 million of the new funding would be spent on services to support those people’s needs.

“People living rough or in accommodation where social distancing was not possible were especially vulnerable to Covid-19,” she said.

“As of this weekend 876 units have vulnerable individuals and whānau living in them and they are being supported with social services.”

She said more than 1100 additional motel units had already been secured for people without housing by government agencies, community housing, iwi and Māori providers since the alert levels were put in place.

Dr Woods said the funding would ensure people continued to be housed for the longer term, with 1600 units being funded,

“Many of the people living in the motels have high and complex needs and it’s crucial they get support,” she said.
