State with one of the strictest lockdowns in the country has the most COVID cases
There is a surge in COVID-19 cases in California despite unprecedented lockdowns and restrictions aimed at curbing the spreading of the coronavirus.
Earlier this week, the state surpassed 2 million confirmed cases and beds at many intensive care units are running dangerously low. In Los Angeles County, the epicenter of the virus in California, the county Department of Public Health on Thursday said around 14,000 residents were testing positive for COVID-19 each day and hospitals were admitting 1,000 new coronavirus patients daily.
As of Thursday, the state reported nearly 24,000 deaths and more than 39,000 new cases and 312 deaths in the 24-hour period since Wednesday.
One health expert called the surge a “viral tsunami,” the Daily Mail reported. State leaders have reached out to Australia and Taiwan to fill 3,000 temporary healthcare work positions as hospital remain overwhelmed.
Earlier this month, Gov. Gavin Newsom, a Democrat, warned that strict lockdown measures would be enacted regionally when ICU bed capacity dips under the 15% mark. Days later, Los Angeles County was put under the new lockdown orders.

German-US legal team about to launch COVID-19 lawsuits to expose Gates-Rockefeller plandemic

REINER Fuellmich, the German lawyer who successfully led lawsuits against the corporate giants VW and Deutsche Bank, is about to launch lawsuits in Germany and the US over alleged false claims around the COVID-19 “pandemic” panic and the PCR test upon which it is based.
The lawsuit should be closely watched across the countries where fascist, totalitarian restrictions have caused mass economic disruption, unemployment, small business losses and person mental and physical harm. PM Scott Morrison, the premiers and the high-flyer health bureaucrats calling the shots need to be watching this closely too, for obvious legal reasons.
Fuellmich and a team of 34 lawyers is on the job after his panel of experts reviewed the science around COVID-19 and the PCR tests and found it severely wanting. “Our focus is upon the PCR test because if we manage to convince a court of law that this is a fraudulent PCR test being marketed with the assertion that it can detect infection – if we can convince a court of law that this is a false statement – then the whole house of cards is going to come crashing down,” Fuellmich warned.
“That is the tool they’re using to keep people in panic mode. And there’s no basis for this panic, because as I just pointed out, even according to the WHO, which couldn’t escape the conclusions of (Professor) John Ioannidis (of Stanford University) that mortality or lethality is roughly the same as the common flu.”
Fuellmich features in mini-documentary called Planet Lockdown, which outlines the case and its development over the past year. He says a number of lawsuits will be filed, from Germany first and then the US. Respondents will include Richard Wheeler, a principal investigator at Oxford University and virologist Christian Drosten, who on January 23rd, 2020, along with other virologists in Europe and Hong Kong, published a workflow of a real-time PCR (RT-PCR) diagnostic test, later accepted by the WHO, which sent test kits to affected regions worldwide.

Some volunteers participating in a Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine trial in Spain have dropped out of the study, days after a serious side effect was reported by a participant of a vaccine trial in the U.K.
Spanish clinical pharmacologist Alberto Boronia, the study’s lead investigator, told Reuters that some participants “called to ask us some more detail about the risk of the vaccine, whether what happened with that vaccine had anything to do with the one we are studying, these types of questions.”

For example, when they looked at eight counties in Florida that had the mandates, there were an average of 24 cases per 100,000 people, per day. When their mask mandates were removed, only 17 cases per 100,000 people were reported.

CDC: More than 5,000 COVID-19 vaccine recipients have reportedly suffered “health impact event”
- Moderna reports significantly higher risk of common side effects
- 5,052 vaccine recipients suffered a “health impact event” as of Dec. 19
- CDC defines “health impact event” as one that renders a patient “unable to perform normal daily activities, unable to work, required care from doctor or health care professional”
- That’s a rate of about 2.3% of vaccine recipients
- CDC says a severe allergic reaction, anaphylaxis, was reported in 6 patients
- Both vaccines are effective at reducing the risk of symptomatic COVID-19 for at least 14 days (Moderna) or more than two months (Pfizer-BioNTech)
- It’s impossible to know how effective the vaccines are beyond the number of days they’ve been given to humans. It’s also impossible to know this soon what are the potential long term side effects, if any.
CDC emphasizes that it believes both of the COVID-19 vaccines approved for emergency use are safe and effective.
The agency is keeping a close eye out for adverse events.
The agency’s “V-safe active surveillance program,” which allows for patients to voluntarily, directly report adverse events outside of the normal VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System), reports that a total of 215,362 people had received their first dose of vaccine as of December 18.
Of that number, 5,052 or 2.3% were reported to have an unspecified “health impact event” defined by CDC as serious enough that they were “unable to perform normal daily activities, unable to work, required care from doctor or health care professional.”
