EWR comment: What we so-called conspiracy theorists have been saying for years … amazingly now folk are listening up. It’s what those nice green cycle tracks have been all about for years. So here your travel’s to be restricted to save the planet, seriously, you will only be ‘allowed’ ‘X’ number of trips per week, and only so far, mind, from your home. Sounds a lot like the bracelets prisoners wear on home detention doesn’t it? Meanwhile those who rule over you are swanning off to Davos & elsewhere in private jets, carrying with them their gas guzzling limos & you can bet they won’t be dining on bugs or lab grown food (like you will be). Agenda 2030 is now shaping up nicely before your eyes. And ‘they’ don’t seem to care now how much in your face they are pushing it.
This city is Oxford that Neil describes. There, the plan will go ahead it is said, ‘whether people like it or not’. Councils have long paraded as democratic … that is sheer illusion, as illustrated here. If you’ve ever been to one of those consultation meetings run by your local council you will know what I’m saying. If you watch Max Igan’s videos he recently included a clip about several Aussie cities that are experiencing similar (56 secs into the vid) . And we in NZ of course have Resilient/Agenda 2030/ICLEI cities too. But they didn’t of course announce that too loudly you might get suspicious and find out what’s really going on.

When someone use the term ‘conspiracy theorist’ or similar, historically, that one has something to hide. It started by CIA, just to deflect their involvement in the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

During the recent local election campaign, Wellington Green candidates talked a lot about compact cities where you can walk or cycle everywhere from your stack and pack (the 15 minute city may have been mentioned). They didn’t say anything about compulsion (though they made it clear they were warring on cars). I think Oxford had already mooted its plan. But there is no way we would have been able to warn people of what is to come, as the media would at best have screamed conspiracy theory.
They hold up European cities as a model. But anyone who lives in Athens and can afford it owns a car to escape in the weekend, even if they never use it within the city.

Thanks for that feedback Barbara. It’s the slow creep though isn’t it? It may be mooted for now but that is how they work. Gradualism. Clearly these people are very serious about the future they have planned for us & it’s speeding up from what I’m observing. The surveillance grid alone. Part of the smart cities of course. We’ve seen the little increments here. One is the toll roads I’ve noticed. IMO it started long ago when they began to funnel us out of rural and into the cities with the excuse they couldn’t afford to keep the rural amenities. I see now that was merely a political decision & nothing to do with $$$.

… reserved for the politicians though. They have more money to spend on self enrichment related stuff. The policy is ‘grab it while you can’. Very common today …

Yes, money SasjaL. The CEOs of our councils are on whoppingly bloated salaries. Kazillions. Right into property development also .. they have inside knowledge. As one whistle blower here put it, it’s like insider trading. That’s the councils. Our politicians used to be on salaries similar to school teachers. Easy to see what those large salaries are about.
