They pretended and dressed as decoy ‘rowdy teenagers’, partying on a small hill right by his lone property, to lure him out of his house. Once he realized they were cops and knew what they were doing, he got back in his truck and drove back toward his driveway (Cooper by then was an older man, with one fake leg, and this was close enough to his lone property on a hill that it was clearly bothersome and loud) after he tried to get back to his house, a gunfight ensued between himself and the cops. Who really shot the first shot may forever be unknown, but given how clear and repetitive he had always been about not firing the first shot of the revolution because whoever fires first will lose, it seems unlikely it was him who initiated the battle. Even if he did, it’s clear it’s because he feared for his life. And rightly so, because they shot and killed him, in a strange scene where his body was left lying there for over 12 hours in a crime scene blocked entirely. Lets face it, whatever will be driven up to account for his unlikely death, to those who understand the larger implications and consequences, it is clear that while always a grand nuisance to the establishment (remember Bill Clinton called him the most dangerous man in America in the mid-90s because of his advocacy in the militia/patriot movement) …
