I think the point is that the original cladding recommended , installed properly,might have been ok. However cost cutting intervened and what ended upon the building was not suitable for a building above a certain height.
What is awful are all the warnings from local people and residents that things were not right were being ignored..and what they warned about happened

Yes, very damning indeed gz. The Grenfell Action group also ignored. Long standing battles by the looks.
