Right on Cue: “First suspect case of H5 bird flu found in Western Australia”…”low risk to humans” but “don’t forget your flu shot”

Right on the heels of Clare Swinney’s revelations about NZ Councils prepping (in secret) for the arrival of bird flu (a must read/watch, many related links @ Liz Gunn’s substack).

“It is a good thing governments have spent the past two years preparing for the arrival of bird flu …” the article states. (In secret was it?) And the risk to humans (at this stage) is low. Adding … “For most Australians, the most important thing they can do right now is ensure they are up to date with their annual influenza vaccination as we head into the influenza season.” Well of course.
