Right on the heels of Clare Swinney’s revelations about NZ Councils prepping (in secret) for the arrival of bird flu (a must read/watch, many related links @ Liz Gunn’s substack).

“It is a good thing governments have spent the past two years preparing for the arrival of bird flu …” the article states. (In secret was it?) And the risk to humans (at this stage) is low. Adding … “For most Australians, the most important thing they can do right now is ensure they are up to date with their annual influenza vaccination as we head into the influenza season.” Well of course.

And on that note you may not know that the US news in 1971 blatantly admitted that jab is ineffective but get it anyway, particularly the elderly and infirm! Not my words!

Note the fear hype with the persons in PPE gear. All reminiscent of the last carry on that is still felling folk at an alarming speed. THE NZ HERALD ARTICLE:

The first suspected case of a new strain of bird flu has been found in Australia. Scientists are scrambling to determine if it is the same one that wiped out thousands of seals on sub-Antarctic Aussie islands.

Federal Agriculture Minister Julie Collins said on Friday a positive test had been returned by a sick migratory bird in a southern region of Western Australia.

She said a second bird was also being tested, with news expected over the weekend whether it is the new H5 strain of the avian disease.

Collins confirmed the positive test had been returned by a “migratory, wildlife bird” but did not specify which species it was.
