Humans will be genetically modified for the first time in Europe after regulators have given the go ahead to trial DNA-splicing therapy.
A destructive blood disorder known as beta thalassaemia, which reduces the production of haemoglobin, could be cured using this therapy.
Haemoglobin carries the oxygen the body needs to its cells and without sufficient amounts those with the disease can be left with bone deformities, anaemia, slow growth, fatigue and shortness of breath.
Scientists at the biotech company Crispr hope that they can alter the body’s code to stop the genetic mutation and restore healthy levels of haemoglobin.
The disease is the first to be treated using this method in Europe and experts have said that the trials hold promise.
Similar trials have taken place in China however they do not have the same restrictive regulations as Europe or the U.S.

Monsanto’s latest marketing ploy: Labeling GMOs as “biofortified”
GMOs have been getting a bad name for quite some time now, and it’s hardly surprising given the near-constant stream of evidence showing the harms caused by genetically engineered crops and the pesticides used on them. As people increasingly make an effort to avoid buying these products, Monsanto has come up with a new idea to trick people into forking over their hard-earned money for its health-destroying products.
The Waking Times reports that Monsanto is trying to manipulate the definitions used on food labels in such a way that GMOs could be labeled as “biofortified foods.”
Codex Alimentarius is a collection of codes and guidelines created by the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization to standardize world food trade and its production and safety. Codex was mulling a proposal to allow a company to use the term “biofortified” on vegetables that use conventional cross-breeding to increase the content of certain nutrients to help give malnourished populations a nutrition boost.
Monsanto sensed an opportunity here and set out to exploit it. They used their influence to try to convince delegates to have the definition of “biofortified” broadened to include foods that have been genetically modified. The National Health Federation (NHF), which is the only natural health advocate with a seat at Codex, reports that many of the delegates saw right through Monsanto’s attempt to pull the wool over consumers’ eyes, and the move was even denounced during the meeting. Nevertheless, the topic will be debated when the group convenes in Berlin this November under a new chairperson.
NHF President Scott Tips said: “It is a very sad state of affairs where we have come to the point where we must manipulate our natural foods to provide better nutrition all because we have engaged in very poor agricultural practices that have seen a 50% decline in the vitamins and minerals in our foods over the last 50 years. We will not remedy poor nutrition by engaging in deceptive marketing practices and sleight of hand with this definition.”

What the media isn’t telling you about Syria

(Natural News) By now, you are aware that President Trump ordered a “precision strike” against Syria’s so-called “chemical weapon sites” run by Assad. The strike was deployed in response to an utterly false, absurd narrative that claims Assad gassed children with chemical weapons.
Beware of any news about an event that reportedly involves the deaths of children. In nearly every major false flag event — from the USA to the Middle East — children are used as props to generate “emotional terrorism” outrage as a form of social manipulation in order to achieve a political purpose. This doesn’t mean real children didn’t die, by the way. As I’ve explained numerous times, a “false flag” event involves real deaths wrapped around a fake narrative. Real children died in Syria, just as they did in the Oklahoma City bombing. But the official stories we’re told about why those children died are complete hogwash.
Remember when we were told that David Koresh burned his entire family alive?
We’ve seen this countless times in recent history, including going all the way back to the federal government’s murderous assault on the David Koresh compound in Waco, Texas, in 1993. The assault was nothing less than a murderous rampage by rogue government agents who murdered women and children in cold blood, yet the “official” story was that David Koresh set fire to his own buildings and murdered his entire family by burning them alive. (Seriously. That’s what the media still wants you to believe.)
The explanation that Assad gassed his own citizen children with chemical weapons is similarly absurd. You’d have to be a complete stooge to believe it. In an article entitled, “Ten Days Before The End Of The World,” written on April 12th, Paul Craig Roberts writes:

Staying fit is key to warding off many chronic diseases in later life, including those that may affect your brain. Worldwide, 47 million people are living with dementia. This is expected to increase to 75 million by 2030 and more than triple by 2050, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).1 Yet, you may be able to significantly slash your risk by taking steps to improve and maintain your cardiovascular fitness.
In fact, researchers from the University of Gothenburg in Sweden revealed that women with the highest cardiovascular fitness had an 88 percent lower risk of dementia than those with moderate fitness.2 Further, even maintaining average fitness is worthwhile, as women with the lowest fitness had a 41 percent greater risk of dementia than those of average fitness. Fitness, in this case, is not the same as exercise, and the study did not measure how often the women exercised.
Instead, it focused on cardiovascular fitness, as measured by a stepwise-increased maximal ergometer cycling test. Cardiovascular fitness can be a measure of how well blood is circulating to your heart and brain. Study author and physiotherapist Helena Horder told Time, “If the small blood vessels and circulation in the heart are OK, then the brain is also affected in a positive way by good small vessel circulation.”3

Basically agribiz is the problem (& lies) not large families. William Engdahl speaks about agribiz and where it came from in his video here. And the story on land is expanded by Kevin Cahill in his book Who Owns the World: The Hidden Facts Behind Landownership. There really is ample land for everybody to live on. Facebook users can now find out what kind of information Facebook stores about them. You can download an archive of your Facebook records, including personal messages, call records, IP addresses, ad clicks, interests, pictures, login times, connections and more. This is the information that Facebook stores that they allow you to download and see.
Facebook has also been exposed for keeping copies of users’ deleted videos. The old deleted videos were detected by users who had downloaded an archive of their Facebook account. Facebook now claims that a software “bug” caused these videos to appear in the archive, even though the deleted videos could easily be used by Facebook, which is in the business of using large swaths of personal data to their advantage.
Facebook says the deleted footage was never shared publicly, but the footage could be used in a variety of other ways behind the scenes. Facebook has promised to delete the videos now that users are taking notice of them in their archive and speaking out.
