SYDNEY, Australia (ChurchMilitant.com) – A jury has found Cdl. George Pell guilty on all counts related to sexually abusing two altar boys.
According to sources who spoke to The Daily Beast, a jury returned a unanimous verdict Tuesday against the Australian cardinal after three days of deliberation. Church Militant confirmed the news with its own inside sources in Australia. Further details are unavailable, as the court has issued a suppression order to Australian media to “prevent a real and substantial risk of prejudice to the proper administration of justice.”
A previous trial resulted in a hung jury.
Pell had been accused of molesting two altar boys during a swimming trip in the 1990s, when he was bishop in Ballarat, a town northwest of Melbourne. Pell has vigorously denied the allegations, and his attorney, Robert Richter, said in 2017 that there is “voluminous” evidence to show that “what was alleged is impossible.”
Although multiple accusations were levelled at the cardinal initially, the court threw out most of them.
Pell was named the Vatican’s Secretariat for the Economy in 2014, making him the third highest-ranking cleric in Rome. He was brought in ostensibly to clean up Vatican finances, exercising oversight over Vatican properties and personnel.
His proposed reforms, however, which included demands for greater transparency, met with resistance. According to Vatican expert Edward Pentin, the “Old Guard” resisted reform out of fears it would reveal their corruption.
Pope Francis restricted Pell’s powers without notice in a motu proprio he issued in 2016. And a financial audit by the firm PricewaterhouseCoopers was cut short by the Secretary of State after only four months.
One source who spoke with Pentin complained that the reforms were “dead, over, finished, they’ve been blocked.”
“The corruption continues; it’s just better concealed,” the inside source added, saying Vatican finances had returned to being as bad as they were before Pell’s reforms, and possibly worse.
Libero Milone, the Vatican’s auditor general, initially put in place to implement reforms, was fired in 2017, the Vatican accusing him of “spying” on officials. Milone, however, claims it was the other way around: The Vatican was spying on him, and he was fired because he had discovered financial irregularities that threatened Vatican officials.
One week later, Pell also left the Vatican, granted permission by Pope Francis to stand trial in Australian court over charges of “historical sexual offenses.”
“All along I have been completely consistent and clear in my total rejection of these allegations,” Pell said at the time. “News of these charges strengthens my resolve and court proceedings now offer me an opportunity to clear my name and then return here back to Rome to work.”
Some have called out the pope for an apparent double standard: In September he had refused to allow Cdl. Luis Ladaria Ferrer, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, to stand trial for allegations of sex abuse cover-up, citing sovereign immunity.

1901: The company is founded by John Francis Queeny, a member of the Knights of Malta, a thirty year pharmaceutical veteran married to Olga Mendez Monsanto, for which
Monsanto Chemical Works is named. The company’s first product is chemical saccharin, sold to Coca-Cola as an artificial sweetener.
Even then, the government knew saccharin was poisonous and sued to stop its manufacture but lost in court, thus opening the Monsanto Pandora’s Box to begin poisoning the world through the soft drink.
1920s: Monsanto expands into industrial chemicals and drugs, becoming the world’s largest maker of aspirin, acetylsalicyclic acid, (toxic of course). This is also the time when things began to go horribly wrong for the planet in a hurry with the introduction of their polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs).
PCBs were considered an industrial wonder chemical, an oil that wouldn’t burn, impervious to degradation and had almost limitless applications. Today PCBs are considered one of the gravest chemical threats on the planet. Widely used as lubricants, hydraulic fluids, cutting oils, waterproof coatings and liquid sealants, are potent carcinogens and have been implicated in reproductive, developmental and immune system disorders. The world’s center of PCB manufacturing was Monsanto’s plant on the outskirts of East St. Louis, Illinois, which has the highest rate of fetal death and immature births in the state.(1)
Even though PCBs were eventually banned after fifty years for causing such devastation, it is still present in just about all animal and human blood and tissue cells across the globe. Documents introduced in court later showed Monsanto was fully aware of the deadly effects, but criminally hid them from the public to keep the PCB gravy-train going full speed!
1930s: Created its first hybrid seed corn and expands into detergents, soaps, industrial cleaning products, synthetic rubbers and plastics. Oh yes, all toxic of course!
1940s: They begin research on uranium to be used for the Manhattan Project’s first atomic bomb, which would later be dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, killing hundreds of thousands of Japanese, Korean and US Military servicemen and poisoning millions more.
The company continues its unabated killing spree by creating pesticides for agriculture containing deadly dioxin, which poisons the food and water supplies. It was later discovered Monsanto failed to disclose that dioxin was used in a wide range of their products because doing so would force them to acknowledge that it had created an environmental Hell on Earth.
1950s: Closely aligned with The Walt Disney Company, Monsanto creates several attractions at Disney’s Tomorrowland, espousing the glories of chemicals and plastics. Their “House of the Future” is constructed entirely of toxic plastic that is not biodegradable as they had asserted. What, Monsanto lied? I’m shocked!
After attracting a total of 20 million visitors from 1957 to 1967, Disney finally tore the house down, but discovered it would not go down without a fight. According to Monsanto Magazine, wrecking balls literally bounced off the glass-fiber, reinforced polyester material. Torches, jackhammers, chain saws and shovels did not work. Finally, choker cables were used to squeeze off parts of the house bit by bit to be trucked away.(2)

ARMORED vehicles bearing the European Union flag have stormed into Paris as protesters bring the city to a standstill.
Riots have been raging across the city for the last few weeks as anger about the high cost of living and increased fuel taxes threaten to topple Emmanuel Macron’s Government.
Shocking scenes today saw riot cops confronting the so-called Gilet Jaunes – after the high-vis yellow vests they have worn.
But one particular video has caused a stir after it was posted on social media.
It shows heavily armoured vehicles driving into the city as small fires – lit by furious protesters – rage around them.
But rather than bearing the French Tricolore flag, the vehicles bore the distinct starred EU flag, which critics have said is a sign an EU Army is drawing closer to existence.
Furious Twitter users have also said it is a sign the bloc, which the UK voted to leave in 2016, is prepared to crush any dissent in any of its member states.
One person commented: “The Euro flag disturbs me on vehicles”.
Another wrote: “With the European Union flag on!!!”

And one outraged person shared a picture of President Macron alongside a quote attributed to him: “We need more Europe”.
Brits also jumped on the thread, claiming the vehicles and flag give an insight into a future in an expanding European Union.

Recently, Carol Sawyer posted information on an Otago article that gives details of a study from the University of Otago on the legacy of pesticides found in our environment. They hail a move to organic farming as being preferable. Carol details the NZ health (& other) statistics which are very damning to us as a nation.

Otago research shows banned pesticides (or their toxic degradation products) remain in the sediments of farm streams many years on.
An Otago study shows that the tell-tale legacy in rural South Island areas of pesticides banned many years ago remains, regardless of the type of sheep and beef farming now taking place on the land.
The research, led by Department of Chemistry recent PhD graduate Dr Pourya Shahpoury and just published in the international journal Environmental Pollution, nevertheless shows that average pesticide levels found in sediments of streams running through the 15 South Island farms assessed as part of the study were still within recommended thresholds.
The most frequently detected pesticide (chlorpyrifos) found in the stream beds is one that is approved in New Zealand for current use against pests. However, the study also found chemicals (or their toxic degradation products) present that had been widely used many years ago before they were banned.
The team of Otago Chemistry and Zoology Department researchers compared the presence of chlorinated pesticides at streams running through five sheep and beef farm clusters located near Amberley, Akaroa, Outram, Owaka and Gore.
In each of the five areas, one property was farmed organically, a second was farmed using the integrated pest management (reduced pesticide use) farming method, and a third was farmed conventionally. The farms were carefully selected with the help of a design formulated by Otago’s Agricultural Research Group on Sustainability (ARGOS), which studies farm management strategies in New Zealand.
Sediment samples were taken from the 15 different farmland streams during the spring/early summer, the period when pests and weeds are most active, resulting in more intense application of pesticides compared to winter or autumn.
Dr Shahpoury says chlorinated pesticides, within recommended thresholds, were found throughout the study areas regardless of the farming practices that took place on the farms eight to11 years preceding the study.
“Although the chemical chlorpyrifos was the most frequently detected in stream sediments, in contrast to our expectations, its concentrations were not highest in stream sediments from conventional farms and were found at similar levels across all three different farm types. This may have been due, at least in part, to its high potential to undergo vapour drift and re-distribution,” he says.

New Zealand already has many constraints that affect all New Zealanders’ lives: housing, health, mental health, economic, and other important factors relating to every day life in New Zealand. I believe the Government is unable to fulfil the basic human needs for many people in New Zealand, let alone more refugees or migrants. In my view, the UN Migration Compact leaves New Zealand open to illegal migrants entering our country.

This refers, of course, to the United Nations conference in Marrakesh, Morocco later this week; the one where the world’s nations are being asked to sign away their sovereignty, their freedoms and their identity in one of the most pernicious agreements ever devised by the UN: the justly infamous UN Global Compact for Migration.
Lots of countries have already announced that they are not going to sign, among them the U.S., Hungary, Poland, Austria, Italy, Israel, Bulgaria, and Australia.
There’s a clue as to how toxic this compact is: when even a country as emasculated and politically correct as Australia finds it too much to swallow.
But perhaps a bigger clue as to its toe-curling, achingly right-on, surrender-monkey awfulness is offered by the countries which are planning on signing up to it. These include Leo Varadkar’s Ireland and Justin “President Bieber” Trudeau’s Canada: arguably the two Western nations you’d least want to be living in right now because they are currently in the hands of politically correct bedwetters bent on destroying every last vestige of their national identity and replacing it with some kind of squishy, globalist melting pot where people of all colours and creeds hold hands under a rainbow.
Another country which is planning on signing it is the United Kingdom. Which is bizarre to the point of incomprehensibility when you discover what this UN Global Compact on Migration entails.
Essentially it’s a globalist masterplan for making migration easier. Much, much easier.
Not the kind of migration that you or I might approve of: say, eager computing graduates from the universities of Cluj Napoca coming to bolster our tech economy with their Python programming skills; me spending a few years in Singapore/Costa Rica/Switzerland/the U.S. or wherever in order to ride out the coming Corbyn terror; kids like my eldest boy moving to the low tax, entrepreneur-friendly environs of Hong Kong to make their fortune; win-win situations which work to the advantage both of the migrant and the host nation…
I mean the kind of migration most of us dread: the one where hordes of mostly unskilled, sometimes criminally deviant males of fighting age descend on our civilised home nations from their considerably less civilised countries — at best to overburden our infrastructure and exploit our overgenerous welfare systems, at worst to destroy us from within.
It’s happening right now across the West: the stone-throwing, wall-scaling, MS-13 tattooed migrant caravans swarming towards the United States’ southern border; the gangs of sullen youths who’ve turned St Denis — the cathedral where most of France’s kings are buried — into a cross between Lagos and Mogadishu; the Muslim ghetto kids who’ve helped Malmo in Sweden become the rape and grenade-attack capital of Europe; the hassly Africans who dog your every step through the tourist sites and beaches of Italy, importuning you to buy stuff you don’t want; the millions of migrants Angela Merkel invited into Germany, now adding impressively to the country’s rape and murder statistics…
You’ll never guess what the United Nations’ solution to this problem is. Actually, knowing the UN as we all do, you probably will.
Yep: the UN’s solution is to make it illegal to talk about this problem.

a) Enact, implement or maintain legislation that penalizes hate crimes and aggravated hate
crimes targeting migrants, and train law enforcement and other public officials to identify,
prevent and respond to such crimes and other acts of violence that target migrants, as well

The excuse being bandied about by defenders of this outrageous document is that it is not legally binding. No, indeed. But that’s the excuse that believers in one-world government always use to mask their sinister scheming. It was the same with the UN’s Agenda 21 all those years ago at the 1992 Rio Earth Summit. People signed up to it because it supposedly wasn’t binding. But it very quickly became an excuse for all manner of green lobbyists and politicians and left-leaning pressure groups and local governments to force through policies as if it were binding.

Websites around the world are getting a new computerized visitor among the Googlebots and Yahoo web spiders: The taxman. A five-nation tax enforcement cartel has been quietly cracking down on suspected internet tax cheats, using a sophisticated web crawling program to monitor transactions on auction sites, and track operators of online shops, poker and porn sites. The “Xenon” program – a reference to the super-bright auto headlights that light up dark places – was started in The Netherlands in 2004 by the Dutch equivalent of the IRS, Belastingdienst.
It has since been expanded and enhanced by international group of tax authorities in Austria, Denmark, Britain and Canada, with the assistance of Amsterdam-based data mining firm Sentient Machine Research. Xenon is primarily a spider: a program that downloads a web page, then traverses its links and downloads those as well, ad infinitum. In this manner spiders can create huge datasets of web material, while preserving the relationships between pages at the moment they were spidered – something that can reveal a lot about the people that made the pages. It’s unclear how effective Xenon has been in generating investigative leads. Contacted by Wired News, the tax departments of Canada and the United Kingdom confirmed participation in the program, but declined further comment. Dag Hardyson, the national project leader for e-commerce for Skatteverket, the Swedish tax authority, was more forthcoming. Skatteverket is scheduled to join the Xenon project this year, and Hardyson said web crawling is well suited to tax enforcement. “The internet is wide open for tools,” said Hardyson. “It’s much easier to handle than the real world.” Xenon, explained Marten den Uyl of Sentient, is in some ways the opposite of something like Google’s web crawler, which traverses a tree of links and grabs a copy of everything it sees. Xenon is smart about link selection and context, and uses a “slow search paradigm,” he said. Whereas a spider like the Googlebot might hit thousands of websites in a second, “With Xenon it may take minutes, hours or even days to do a slow search.” The slow search prevents the crawler from creating excessive traffic on a website, or drawing attention in the sites’ server logs. Den Uyl declined to say what user-agent the Xenon software reports itself as, but it’s likely to be variable or configurable on the tax investigator’s part. The spider can also be configured and trained to look at particular economic niches – a useful feature for compiling lists of business in industries that traditionally have high rates of nonfiling. “For instance, weight control (yields) 85,000 hits, some for products … also services,” says Sweden’s Hardyson. Once the web pages are screen-scraped, Xenon’s Identity Information Extraction Module interfaces with national databases containing information like street and city names. It uses that data to automatically identify mailing addresses and other identity information present on the websites it has crawled, which it puts into a database that can be matched in bulk with national tax records. As illuminating as Xenon is for the tax man, the data-mining effort poses dangers to citizen privacy, said Par Strom, a noted privacy advocate in the world of Swedish IT. “Of course it’s not illegal,” said Strom. “I don’t feel quite comfortable having a tax office sending out those kind of spiders.” One issue has to do with how the information Xenon captures is protected. Sentient has created access controls for its law-enforcement data-mining tool, called Data Detective, but its Xenon software lacks many of those protections, said dan Uyl, commenting on the theory that investigators will quickly delete the compiled data. “Data Detective (handles) long-term data warehousing,” he said, “(Xenon is) short-term project data warehousing. Different type of data, different type of analysis.” But Hardyson said the Swedish government – which already has its own internally developed tax crawlers – is currently keeping a copy of everything it spiders. That means that someone’s long-expired actions have the potential to come back and haunt them. “We can scan and store all actions for every e-marketplace in Sweden, it’s about 55,000 per day,” said Hardyson. He said his agency hasn’t decided if it will change its policies with the new, more sophisticated Xenon software. “Is this what we should do? Our lawyers must look at it.” Canada’s tax authorities declined to state what its Xenon data retention policies are, as did Simon Bird, head of the “Web Robot Team” at the British HM Revenue and Customs office. In the United States, the IRS is not a part of the Xenon project, but would neither confirm nor deny that it uses spidering software in its investigations. Strom said now that the cat is out of the bag, there’s no way to get governments or corporations to forgo technologies like spiders and data mining. “The information is public of course, because it’s posted on the internet,” Strom says. “It wasn’t meant to be used this way … (this is) using the naivete of people. It’s on the limit of what is ethical.”

I emailed DoC, Manawatu recently regarding the proposed aerial drop of 1080 in the Manawatu Gorge. The drop will not now happen until 2019 I’m told (see email below) …
“… aerial application of cereal baits containing 1080 will not take place in 2018 due to a lack of favourable conditions within the consent timeframe.”
I had asked in my email why 1080 is being used when the gorge, as per DoC’s own blog is trapped manually. I also asked if 1080 will be dropped into the Manawatu River. You can view the drop zone by visiting their site at this link. (Note, you will need to scroll down, read that page & tick the ‘I accept’ box at the bottom to view the map).
As regular readers will be very aware some of the info provided in the email from DoC, differs somewhat to the published independent scientific research, particularly regarding the solubility of 1080 in water. These observations have been made by independent scientists, not armchair theorists. If you are a new reader please go to the 1080 resources/links tab under the 1080 page at the main menu. The websites to the independent science are listed there. You could also use ‘categories’ (left of our news page) &/or the search box (same page) for other articles on topic. You can obviously read this info and make your own decisions about the safety of 1080 in your water … and whether or not to consume it. I should add regarding the Manawatu, that the river is already severely polluted, at one stage earning the reputation of being the most polluted river in the Southern Hemisphere. All of our rivers are so polluted we can only safely swim in 40% of them. Gone are the days of diving in without some prior research online, all depending among other things, if there’s been rainfall washing the pollutants into the water. For some time now I have drunk only distilled water because of this. Any water taken from these sources, including bores, is no longer pure. There are so many pollutants now that our town supplies are treated with chlorine to prevent you contracting diseases. The chlorine however carries its own risks due to its carcinogenic properties.
DoC Manawatu say the pellets won’t be dropped into the river in this instance (the river is not included in the drop zone) admitting though that there could be stray pellets fall into the water. See the GrafBoys’ videos at their Youtube channel on that subject, particularly their 4x international award winning doco ‘Poisoning Paradise’ that is banned from NZ’s television channels. Clearly the pellets often do fall into the waterways, indeed the rules were changed by the authorities to avoid the obtaining of resource consents to do so. (See our articles on 1080 & waterways).
Finally, we obviously do not agree with the aerial dropping of 1080, but neither do we support violence in any way in objecting to the drops. I personally do not know of one person who does advocate violence. We are primarily a peaceful resistance, we just do not want our environment or our water & food sources poisoned so will continue to ask the authorities to desist. DDT was once approved, as also was Agent Orange & glyphosate … so also was cigarette smoking considered good for your health … we live in the hope that this poison 1080 will be added to the danger list & preferably banned forever.

Thanks for your email regarding animal pest control methods in Te Apiti – Manawatu Gorge.
The Department of Conservation intended to deliver an animal pest control operation over approximately 900 ha of the Te Apiti – Manawatu Gorge project area during the spring of 2018. The planned operation targeted possums, rats and stoats across the whole site using a combination of aerial and ground based methods to apply cereal baits containing sodium fluoroacetate (1080).
Standard operating procedures for animal pest control operations include gaining necessary approvals from the Public Health Officer. A condition of the consent for Te Apiti – Manawatu Gorge operation was that it must be completed before 7 December 2018.
1080 operations require a very specific set of weather conditions. 1080 is water soluble, so dry weather is required either side of bait application. Calm weather is vital for safe and accurate aerial bait application and the geography of Te Apiti – Manawatu Gorge makes it especially critical. Unfortunately, it was not possible to deliver the operation to standard before the consent date ended for the 2018 calendar year.
Animal pest control methods to be used in 2019 will be considered in the new year.
In the meantime, animal pest control will revert to ground-based methods already in place to ensure some protection for taonga species in Te Apiti – Manawatu Gorge this summer. Specifically, the use of diphacinone in the existing bait station network on the south side of the reserve only and community trapping initiatives in both sides of the reserve.

These young folk are doing a great job trapping, I am wondering why it is the gorge needs to be treated with 1080? Could you explain?
I agree, the Milson Scout Troop are doing a great job trapping to reduce rat and stoat numbers on the northern side of the Manawatu Gorge Scenic Reserve. However, monitoring shows that rat and possum numbers are currently too high for forest health and successful breeding by forest birds. Trapping can only be done in areas that are easily accessible on foot. Large parts of Te Apiti – Manawatu Gorge are steep and unstable so cannot be managed using ground-based control methods. People cannot access these areas safely but possums, rats and stoats can. If control is only carried out in areas that can be accessed on foot, pests will continuously reinvade from unmanaged areas into the remainder of the forest. Well-managed aerial 1080 operations can reduce possum and rat numbers by more than 95% over large areas of rugged and inaccessible country.
One of the key benefits of community trapping initiatives is the role they play in advocating for biodiversity. Trapping volunteers learn practical skills and become knowledgeable and passionate about our nature through their involvement. Their hard work is valuable and visible, so they help to raise awareness about pest control and the Predator Free movement. We hope the community trappers will continue their good work in Te Apiti – Manawatu Gorge for as long as it is necessary.
Can you also please advise, will the pellets be dropped into the Manawatu River?
The planned treatment area covered forested areas on public conservation land and neighbouring land within the Te Apiti – Manawatū Gorge project area, including the road and rail corridors. The Manawatu River was not included in the treatment area. There is a small chance that some baits could have ended up in the river but this would not impact on water quality. 1080 is highly soluble in water and quickly dilutes to very low and harmless concentrations. It then biodegrades into non-toxic products.
However, as advised above, aerial application of cereal baits containing 1080 will not take place in 2018 due to a lack of favourable conditions within the consent timeframe.

Right on topic with today’s other posting on Tahr, as the authorities cull our own NZ wildlife, anything non native according to the UN agreement signed up to decades ago without our awareness. They are expunging every non native except farm stock. Along with this plan for eliminating ‘pests’ we are also seeing the extinction of various species, planet wide. Our own native Kea are dwindling fast.

If you keep your eyes open & read between the lines you may have noticed culling is becoming a common word (not to mention either the extinction of species!). One I saw not too long ago was the culling of Canadian Geese off Palmy’s Lagoon in Centennial Drive. It shocked onlookers & took place in the school holidays where children could have seen it. This scheme has already been condemned by two academics as being unrealistic. You don’t have to even be an academic however to figure it’s unrealistic, or cruel. Not rocket science really. It’s been said by more than one notable person that a nation can be judged by the way it treats its poor and vulnerable, and its animals. NZ, once a welfare state, is now found seriously wanting on all counts of that one.
Following is information on the Tahr cull from Carol Sawyer.
It has come to my notice, from an extremely reliable source, that at least two helicopters were working for the Department of Conservation last weekend – carrying out the Tahr cull (the one that Eugenie Sage said would not now be carried out until next winter) in the designated Tahr cull area that was organised prior to the fatal Wanaka helicopter accident on 20 October, 2018.
One helicopter flew out of Manapouri and a second involved is allegedly Wanaka-based.
The Dept of Conservation is crying out for more money, and yet the helicopter from Manapouri would have had a three hour return trip, I’m told, at a cost of at least $1,500 per hour plus GST – just to position it for the Tahr cull. There are several helicopters closer that could have been used instead.
The helicopter from Manapouri was carrying a DoC biodiversity officer to do the shooting.
The Tahr are calving now. I’m informed the babies would probably not have been seen, as they are “planted” for the first two weeks of life, in a similar manner to deer – with Mum coming back to feed them. They will have been left to die of cold and starvation.
I have also heard via a second source, a shocked helicopter owner, that DoC are shooting the nanny Tahr in the guts so they go away and die invisibly in the bush, presumably in severe pain. If they were visible their skeletons would be visible for several years. This way they are hidden from public view. I SO hope this is not true!
So… what has happened since the huge, nationwide protest on September 8, 2018?
