“Enabling commercial exploitation across all conservation land”
Does the fight against 1080 make any sense now? To all the naysayers who think it’s perfectly safe. As we’ve said all along, it’s about mining. Resources. It’s not about saving birds.
They are freeing up land for their mining mates. Notice, Coromandel features. Remember recent posts about GOLD In that region. And the weather warfare they’ve endured there. Remember the warnings about the Atlas Network and David Seymour’s outright denial (porkie) about having any links to them.
Plus we now hear the hysteria about not being able to access shorelines and beaches. Remember the Foreshore and Seabed protests? Folk were paranoid that Maori would block access to beaches. Methinks option A was the better one people… something to ponder.
More to come on this topic. Note you have only until 2 July to make ‘submissions’ (in quotes because as you all should be figuring by now, submissions simply mean they asked your opinion whilst the plan is to do it anyway).
But don’t worry, Tama Potaka assures us they’re not going to be selling off vast swathes of land ! Nothing to see here. This is not the thin end of the wedge.

VIDEO INFO (GREENPEACE)
Make a submission today! https://greenpeace.nz/2s6imyzq In the biggest attack on conservation land in modern history the New Zealand Government is proposing to gut the Conservation Act and make it easier to sell off five million hectares (60%) of public conservation land. Public conservation land is part of who we are — snow-covered mountains, ancient forests, wild rivers, and native birdsong that make Aotearoa unlike anywhere else on Earth. It’s where we camp, tramp, fish, and hunt. It’s the last refuge for our endangered native species, and a major carbon store that helps protect us from climate breakdown. Once these wild places are sold off, dug up, and mined, we can’t get them back. Take action to defend nature now.
