Thank you!!!! ♥️ been on my to-do list since husband died in March. So much bureaucratic bull’s wool. Even New World wanted a copy of his death cert to get his little fund transferred to my card. I don’t have a smart phone, so photographed it with camera & uploaded to send. Finally got hold of IRD after MONTHS!!! Still trying to get rates relief from local council – I guess that is the way they will get mortgage-free home-owners. Also LTSA – re car. I no longer drive, so the car is sitting here getting cobwebby. Always used to be joint ownership, but that ended a few years ago, so now I need to send THEM the death cert before I can sell it. Husband worked for them, resigned the week before the mandates ended. they KNEW they were ending, and instead put the pressure on. Said he wAS THE ONLY ONE. sINCE FOUND A GROUP OF 40 cHRISTIANS WHO DID NOT CAVE IN TO THE PRESSURE. oops, sorry for caps – bandaged fingers, can’t feel the keys with some fingers. One lady ended up in hospital from the stress of it all! Took 6 weeks waiting list to enrol with a dr! Then a 6 week wait for an appointment! They said go to the hospital in the meantime. Not likely. I think you are right about the rates fiasco. They have all bases covered. (Have you seen the council / rates article? I’ll add a link) Still if you are a Christian then it’s Jehovah Jireh … you will get my meaning hopefully. All the best with car sales etc etc. I experienced similar when my parents passed. Quite a rigmarole. The woman’s experience you describe is not surprising … so many were affected especially stress wise.
I’ve just switched to Linux finally. And like the guy says in the vid it really doesn’t look that difficult at all. I’d imagined it would be.
