The mayor of Los Angeles, a city with a burgeoning homeless population, wants to “help” by painting murals of those who don’t have permanent homes. Only in Los Angeles could an idea so ridiculous be hailed as a means to “tackle” the homeless crisis gripping our nation.
Eric Garcetti, the mayor of LA, outlined his new plan to tackle the region’s skyrocketing homeless population this week. Garcetti said we must now “recognize our common humanity” with murals “highlighting” his city’s escalating housing crisis. The nation’s second largest city has an estimated 50,000 people living on the streets as rising rents and increased crime threaten to make the crisis worse in the coming months.

We’ve got the same F show going on in Wellington the hideous Major ( already determined to be reelected) is going to end homelessness.
He will do this by doing nothing ( probably removing homeless from the CBD)about the govt that caused the homelessness.
End homelessness by demolishing state housing,emptied state houses sitting there empty , privatizing it and bringing in large number of people to NZ that needed state housing without having a supply.
So in place or a mural the Idiot Mayor Lester will ” end homelessness” by building a new convention center, apartments for wealthy, destroy penguin habitat for apartments fro wealthy , also cruelly killing hedgehogs and other animals and saying wellington is “predator free”.
And along with housing NZ the other creator of homelessness is a MSD that is toxic. All in a banksters economic monopoly where there is plenty of money for what we shouldn’t be doing but none for what needs to be done.

Same insanity everywhere isn’t it? I hear from folk who’ve been kicked out of their state homes in very fascist ways… & left homeless. Corrupt system isn’t it. Hadn’t realized they were killing off the city’s wildlife. Hedgies? Do you know what poison they are using?
