Popular olive oil brand sued for selling fake product cut with cheap fillers

From Naturalnews.com, “As much as half of all olive oil brands sold in the U.S. are fake” …  another reminder that corporations lie (watch ‘The Corporation’ doco). Another reminder to keep informed and research the facts, especially if you value your health. And a further reminder to buy certified organic …  the closer to home the better. Support your local farmers and growers and know what you are eating. Contribute to their livelihood and keep your local communities going.

I’d read of this concern recently too regarding olive oil … that companies are faking the contents. A topic I’ve yet to look at more closely. Very disturbing.
