I’ve been watching this approaching low for a couple of days now, predicted by Rob (and here) and now upon us. The mainstream forecast also specifically mentions Hawke’s Bay/Wairoa re high rainfall. FYI I have been watching that area also and reported curious aircraft flights there back in February 2026. Still watching.
