Firstly, thanks to Martin for keeping us on our toes, and secondly, it is never my intention to mislead & I believe the source gave it in good faith. Apologies for any inconvenience it may have caused anyone.

Southern Cross follows the recommendations of the Ministry of Health and Medsafe on the management of COVID-19, and the utilisation of any vaccinations.
We would like to reassure our Health Insurance and Life Insurance policyholders that their policies will continue in the usual way and in no way be impacted if they receive a MedSafe approved COVID-19 vaccine.
In New Zealand, acute care is provided by the public health system so if treatment is needed urgently after receiving a vaccine, you should go directly to the Accident and Emergency unit at your nearest public hospital.
ACC also provides treatment and support to people if they have an adverse reaction to any vaccine if their criteria for treatment injury is met. This is why vaccine-related treatment injury is a standard exclusion in our Health Insurance plans.
Therefore, as is current practice, if you develop symptoms from the COVID-19 vaccine or any other Medsafe approved vaccine and require treatment, you can lodge a claim with ACC.

With all due respect, personally I still fail to see in this statement any firm reassurance that any serious adverse reaction beyond standard reactions will be compensated for? In fact the reader is directed to ACC requirements.

Highlighting … “A physical injury resulting from a vaccination, including the COVID-19 vaccine, may be covered if the criteria for treatment injury are met. Under ACC legislation, the injury must be clearly caused by the vaccination and must not be a necessary part or ordinary consequence of the treatment”.

I invite you now to read what the NZ vaccine expert Helen Petousis-Harris has to say about proof of causation:
“Experts reviewing the cases”… are they reviewing them? Taking this to its logical conclusion, it has already been demonstrated that the thousands of deaths being recorded, with few exceptions, the vaccinations continue.
So to summarize this point, VAERS is the CDC’s site (US) for reporting any adverse reaction following a vaccination. (Note stats for post vaccine injury in NZ will apparently not be available until July). However as is stated an adverse reaction does not indicate causality.
FYI : Consider the following feedback from others’ experience (no apology that these are Facebook comments… social media is today’s ‘town square’).
Although anecdotal with no … no proof, consider them useful background information. Unfortunately independent inquiry is unwelcome and any narrative alternative to mainstream’s ‘safe & effective’ is written off as anti-vax.
The point of concern historically is that it has become very evident in the testimonies of the parents of children who have experienced adverse events following vaccination, that MDs seldom acknowledge vaccines as causative.
I invite you to visit the VAXXED Youtube channel and browse the testimonies. Time and again their plea that their very normal and healthy child only changed directly after the jab, is refuted. Watch this very old footage on topic (see comments also).
In returning to ACC’s statement that the injury must be acknowledged as clearly caused by the vaccine, you need to be taking into account with your decision to take the CV jab, the difficulty or otherwise of obtaining any confirmation of injury from the medical profession. Already a NZ woman interviewed by Peter Williams at Magic Talk Radio has described the hostility she faced from an ambulance attendant at any suggestion that her injury was caused by the covid vaccine. In addition she had to “self-report[ed] her reaction to CARM as her medical centre refused to.”
This, people, is what we are up against. A steadfast refusal for decades to acknowledge any causative link between a jab and a reaction, in spite of the official registers recording the reactions. Do you really think that with this new experimental treatment, it is going to be any different?
I note today that the NZ Herald has reported the death (first article) and ongoing investigation by Police of an Auckland woman (second article). The Herald mentioned just once toward the end of their article that this woman had received the covid vaccine the day before. (Update: the sentence with reference to the vaccine was then removed with no explanation given.)
Still, the mantra continues. “Vaccines are safe and effective.”
I challenge you to be very specific with your insurance provider as to if and what they will cover regarding adverse reactions to the new experimental covid injection.
