Former Archbishop Philip Wilson, until recently one of the highest ranking Catholic clergy in the world, has been spared a prison sentence despite being found guilty of concealing child sexual abuse by a pedophile priest from the authorities.
In handing down his sentence in Newcastle Local Court, magistrate Robert Stone on Tuesday stated Wilson, 67, could serve his 12-month custodial sentence in the comfort of his sister’s home, not behind bars.
Wilson, who was forced to resign as Archbishop of Adelaide in July after becoming the most senior Catholic clergyman in the world to be convicted of concealing child sex abuse, showed no emotion when the decision was handed down — and refused to apologize to victims of his crime.

This is the stuff of the third world right? Here in ‘yeah right’ clean green NZ (next to one of the worst polluted/trashed lakes in NZ) … a NZ land owner, mana whenua I believe, is denied access to the town supply water. It’s even used in advertising as a positive practice for food processing and auto sales. It’s used as the model for building materials, power sources and transportation policy. We are assured by elected officials that Sustainable Development is simply a tool or a guideline to help direct the carefully-planned growth of our cities and rural areas while protecting our natural resources for future generations. “We must guard against a chaotic, unregulated growth in our cities,” say its earnest proponents as they sell the concept through familiar, non-threatening words and beautiful pictures.
Citizens are assured by their community leaders that all such plans are just local, local, local, created with the participation of the whole community. Sustainable Development policy, they say, is just an environmental land conservation policy, a sensible development policy. Sustainable…what’s wrong with that?
As usual, the answers are hidden in the details. Are we hearing the truth? What are the consequences of the policy that has taken over every level of government? Are there hidden dangers most just can’t see? Or, as its proponents claim, is opposition to Sustainable Development really just a silly, overblown conspiracy theory found in a twenty-year-old meaningless document called Agenda 21?

Ten shipping containers filled with food, baby products, and over-the-counter medications like Tylenol — all supplies desperately needed in the days and weeks following Hurricane Maria — were found rotting in a Puerto Rico parking lot last week, never distributed.
The New York Times reports that a local Puerto Rican radio station found the goods, melted, spoiled, and covered in rat droppings, in a parking lot outside one of Puerto Rico’s state elections offices. The goods were clearly meant to help Puerto Ricans in need, many of whom went weeks without electricity and running water last summer in the wake of Hurricane Maria.

What is laughable about this is the council’s pledge to make the waters swimmable! It is DCs & Horizons that pollute them in the first place with their consents to industry & farming, that they don’t even police correctly. British police have arrested and charged thirty one members of a Muslim child sex ring in Huddersfield, England.
Thirty men and one woman were found to have trafficked and raped girls between the ages of 12 and 18, between 2005 and 2012.
Detectives believe the offences were committed in the Huddersfield area.
Fehreen Rafiq, 38, is the only woman accused. She is charged with two counts of facilitating the commission of a child sex offence.
BBC News reports:
Twelve men, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with “numerous offences in connection with the same investigation”, police said.
The accused are due at Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on 5 and 6 September.

Up until now, parents have been asked to give their consent ahead of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations administered to girls by school nurses, and many guardians have opted out of allowing their daughters to get the jab. But this is set to change.
Tuija Leino, who heads the National Institute for Health and Welfare THL’s immunisation unit, says permission was sought as parents were not aware that the HPV vaccine had been introduced to the national immunisation programme. But now that people know about it, permission is no longer needed, she explains.
Finland’s National Institute for Health and Welfare says about half of 11-12-year-old girls eligible for the vaccination received it in the past 5 years that it has been available as part of the national immunisation programme.

HELICOPTERS DROPPED ENOUGH PURE 1080 POISON FROM THE AIR TO KILL AS MANY AS 60 MILLION PEOPLE IN 2017 – ( 1/100th teaspoon pure 1080 can kill an adult )
In 2015, approx 2 million kgs ( or 2,000 tonnes ) of 1080 poison baits were dropped by the air onto this land of ours. (967,000ha x 2kgs per ha).
In 2016 DoC alone dropped 1080 poison baits over more than 720,000 ha in 2016, but one has to add (unknown) OSPRI /TbFree figures to that, so the area poisoned is probably more like 150,000 ha ( 3,000 tonnes baits ).
As the amount of 1080 poison baits used increases every year, last year it is generally thought that between 4,000 and 5,000 tonnes of 1080 poison baits were dropped from the air.
The percentage of pure 1080 poison in the baits is 0.15%, so If we assume the more “conservative” figure of 4,000 tonnes of 1080 poison dropped from the skies last year, 0.15% of that tonnage contains enough pure 1080 to kill approximately 60 million people, (when ingested at maximum efficiency), and make another 60 million people very sick… just ONE YEAR of poison !
( The LD50 for human beings is 0.7 to 2 mgs per kg bodyweight )
The photo below shows three teaspoons containing one gram of salt, one gram of sugar and one gram of fat.
Imagine one twentieth of that amount of pure white 1080 poison powder instead of salt or sugar, ( or 1/100th of a 5 gm teaspoon ), and that is how much pure 1080 poison it can take to kill one 50 kg human being….. or to put it another way, two 1080 poison baits ( and less than one bait for a small child ).
We do this every single year, and the amount keeps increasing, not decreasing.

The Auckland Council stated in its pacifying document that it used “highly accurate GPS application technology to apply bait”.
The truth is that GPS technology was used to ensure every stream and watercourse within the drop boundaries were spread with 1080 poison.
The Auckland Regional Public Health Service set conditions “to protect human health”, and also helped with the “drinking water monitoring plan”, stated Auckland Council in a project document. However, it’s sobering to note that in 2008 the Ministry of Health stated “To date there are no known epidemiological studies that have been carried out in relation to 1080 and potential adverse health effects on humans.” It’s now 2016, and still no studies on chronic impacts have been done, but the areas the poison is being dropped into our environment continues to increase ….

A Darfield family asked DOC not to take blood from their two 43-year-old kea, Casper and Stumpy. They did – and the birds were found dead less than 24 hours later.
A Darfield family blames the Department of Conservation (DOC) for the death of their beloved kea Casper and Stumpy.
The endangered alpine parrots have been part of Ron Stewart’s family since 1977 – but on Saturday morning he found them dead on the floor of their aviary.
Less than 24 hours earlier, a DOC ranger and veterinarian took blood samples from the birds despite Stewart pleading with them not to.
Kea Casper and Stumpy were found dead in their aviary on Saturday morning less than 24 hours after DOC staff took blood and examined the birds.
DOC staff, “shocked” by the birds’ “unintended and deeply concerning” deaths, returned to uplift them for a necropsy on Monday. They were ordered from the property.
The birds, thought to be about 43 years old, were given to Stewart and his late wife Dawn, an internationally renowned parrot breeder, by DOC’s predecessor, the Wildlife Service, in 1977.
Casper had a head injury and Stumpy’s leg had to be amputated. They were unlikely to survive in the wild.

Whereas the quote above could easily be dismissed as the ‘progress-denying’ sentiment of a disgruntled anti-GMO activist, the fact is that it came from a scientist representing the very epitome of Western rationality and accomplishment.

Fundamentally amoral and irrational economic and political forces drive technology’s feverish pace, infusing a certain arbitrary cruelty and disequilibrium into everything it touches.
In our continual drive to ‘improve upon Nature’ in the name of much-hyped, ‘life-saving’ biotechnological innovations, the line between humane and inhumane eventually is crossed, and there seems no going back. Biopollution from defective or dangerous GMO genes, for example, is virtually impossible to undo once unreleased into the biosphere; you can’t “recall” a defective gene like you can an automobile. Nor can we remove from our bodies the surreptitious viruses (e.g. simian virus #40(SV40)) that contaminated millions of first-generation polio vaccines. In many ways our moral fiber suffers from the same susceptibilities. Once we have crossed a certain line – be it theft, lying, or worse, etc., – it is difficult, if not impossible to ‘go back’ and regain our innocence. Such is the human condition. And this is why we must carefully consider the medico-ethical implications of new technologies, whose developments we must first be aware of in order to guide, regulate and sometimes terminate.

Debt levels at Horowhenua District Council have spiraled to $99million.
A Quarterly Treasury report by Council’s treasury advisors – Bancorp Treasury Services Limited – said, “As of Thursday 26 July, HDC has now got $99m in debt.”
The quarterly report also said Council’s net debt prediction in the Long Term Plan of $81 million by year end is based on the assumption of property sales of $7 million, new and improved asset purchases of $22 million and cash of $11 million by the end of 2018.
Also included in the Finance, Audit and Risk sub-committee agenda of 1 August was Council’s draft 12 month financial report to June 2018 which shows council spent $827,000 of a projected $956,000 budget on economic development projects that are not publicly detailed.
The draft 12 month report also serves as a stark reminder Council spends almost three times more on ‘economic development’ than ‘community development’ which had a forecasted budget of $361,000 compared with actual budget of $348,000.
Orillion is the new name for the Govt/corporation owned factory in Whanganui that manufactures 1080, the poison that is distributed liberally over our land in an endeavour to make us pest free. Per annum they drop 4,000 kg, enough to kill 20 million people. This is 22,000 times more than the rest of the world drops in fact it is banned in most countries. No wonder they wanted to re brand it. People are waking up to its toxicity. They’ve been dropping 1080 for 60 years now so it seems to not be working.
The new target is 2050 by which time we will supposedly be pest free. Supposedly. I suspect by 2050 we’ll be free of a lot more than pests.

The old name of this establishment was Animal Control Products. However in 2016 or thereabouts, they enlisted a Massey University owned company in Wellington called Open Lab to re brand it. This does appear to coincide very much with the intensified awareness of the public to the darker side of this poison.

This is in no way a negative slant on Open Lab. They are just working for their dollars. Any design company could have done the task and the point here of course is to highlight the deliberate tactic of prettying up the poisoning program under a plethora of new and colorful rhetoric and images which of course is not new.

It is a time worn tactic employed by governments since forever. The Crown is an expert at it. They re wrote our colonial histories in a similar fashion to make them more palatable for succeeding generations. It is hoped says the website info, that the new branding will increase export sales.

The Mayoral fund expenditure has been called into question by the Horowhenua District Council. Here, Mayor Feyen sets the record straight on the points in question.
Mayor Feyen unseated former mayor, Brendan Duffy in the last election, campaigning on care, vision & open communication in HDC’s leadership, retaining the pensioner housing (now sold), affordable rates, reducing debt, staying within budget & clean water among other things. Unfortunately his vision is not shared by many of his colleagues. Thereby he has had a tough time of it as anybody who attends Council meetings or watches the live stream will witness to.
