A lot happened in the days before Easter, and if you missed any of it over the long weekend, this is the issue to catch up on. The mainstream media began asking questions about government deceit over the covid vaccination programme. NZDSOS member Dr Bernard Conlon’s tribunal concluded and the outcome is now awaited. And Justice Watch completed its five-letter challenge to the Royal Commission’s conclusions. Here is where things stand.

The Podium of Truth is Wobbling As ex-PM and covid Minister Chris Hipkins falls apart under sustained scrutiny, Newstalk ZB and the NZ Herald are covering what NZDSOS and others have been documenting for five years. The Public Interest Journalism Fund that once locked the media into the government’s narrative has ended, and perhaps that has something to do with it. 2. Dr Bernard Conlon: Suspended During the Covid Outbreak, Four and a Half Years Later Still Under Investigation
Bernard has been a GP in Murupara for 35 years. An Irishman who earned the deep trust of a predominantly Māori community (which is no small thing in the Urewera). He followed published early treatment protocols using vitamin C, vitamin D, and zinc. For this, the Medical Council has pursued him since late 2021. During the two-week hearing, the Medical Council’s lawyers stated Bernard had “repeatedly ordered ivermectin over a significant period of time.” He had to endure mischaracterisation of the charges against him, and repeated denigration of his status as any kind of expert, despite him being a specialist GP. In week two, he clarified: one order, separated into packages. That characterisation sat unchallenged for an entire week. The Medical Council’s own expert, Dr Helen Petousis-Harris, then conceded under cross-examination that “gene therapy” is a reasonable description of the mRNA platform, that vitamin C, D, and zinc have clinical value, and that by her own definition there was no evidence of any vaccine effectiveness until mid-2021, after Bernard had already been providing the care he is charged for. 3. Justice Watch: The Case Against “Effective”
Justice Watch New Zealand has now issued its fifth formal open letter to the Prime Minister, this time taking on the other half of the mantra: the claim that the vaccines were “effective.” The previous four letters addressed vaccine safety evidence, non-derogable human rights, the lawfulness of the Royal Commission’s Phase 2 findings, and the systems failures in harm detection. Taken together, the five letters now constitute what we believe to be the most comprehensive, on-the-record legal and evidential challenge to the Royal Commission’s conclusions that exists in New Zealand. “Safe and effective” justified everything: the mandates, the silencing of doctors, the coercion of workers and children. Both halves of that claim have now been dismantled, in writing, addressed to the Prime Minister, just by sticking to basic legal first principles and without needing to refer to or debate a single peer-reviewed medical study.
