NZ Unemployment figures are so much worse than they are letting on!

Another very interesting video from Pigeon Post at Youtube. We recently posted an update on NZ’s unemployment rate based on (what you will hear about in the video) a very small seemingly irrelevant sample of the population. This investigation exposes that figure as being inaccurate. Judge for yourself. I wonder why the government doesn’t want you to know the real number? EWNZ

In this video we look at the actual unemployment numbers and not the manipulated unemployment numbers. Guess which ones are worse! links – https://www.stats.govt.nz/methods/hou…

** For people wondering about the working age population numbers being less than the population as a whole – When calculating unemployment rates you only look at people of working age. The MSD data is looking at working age population. Infometrics has the working age population at 64.9% of the entire population which ties in quite well with the MSD data. The unemployment rate would be much higher if you counted children and retirees as unemployed. https://regions.infometrics.co.nz/new-zealand/population/age-composition

  1. The government’s actions in 2021/2022 ended our business of 17 years. As a result three of us are unemployed, one of us on a Jobseeker benefit. It’s not how we wanted our 17 year old business to end. When I made a business plan in 2005, I put “government stupidity” as a threat in the swot analysis. Back then I could never have imagined the things to come. But you can’t fix stupid.

        1. TBH I’m not 100% sure .. had seen the term but not researched it… appears to be about the old way of living that didn’t involve exchange of money at all. It is about the guilds. Craftsmen were provided all tools and places to live as they learned their craft. It eliminated poverty as all were always provided for. An economic form of organisation. Very interesting. It was the Rothschilds who killed it. Even outlawed trading in goods. The guilds inhibited their banking model so they got rid of them. Country by country.
