Land is the Price: colonialism then…and now

The lying goes back a very long way. I say this because the truths about colonization were never of course recorded by those who wrote the histories … the cause of much angst and division now because we have two versions & guess of course which one people believe. These people are clever beyond words. The aim is to divide & rule as happened in the colony of India & elsewhere. All documented. But as I say, not in your standard history tomes. EWR

  1. Ah, my Socialist/Communist friends will love you for this one Pam!
Personally I’m opposed to the whole Socialist movement as the UN and China are using them as a conduit for Agenda 2030 and the New World Order. However, most free (?) democracies are a mix of Socialist and Capitalist (Free Market) doctrines coexisting in various ratios. Socialism in it’s purest Marxist form has never succeeded (usually resulting in equal poverty for all) and Capitalism, even in the US, is always tempered by a degree of Democratic Socialism.
As for the claim that Cook is a symbol of “Colonial violence” I should think the Tanga Te Whenua can claim more than their fair share of blood-soaked atrocities and environmental pillage. I think Josh O’ Sullivan should be thankful for the Capitalist/Colonial culture that provides him with the freedom to speak his mind and the technological means to communicate his propaganda! Rather ironically he’s promoting a doctrine that will rapidly extinguish those freedoms.

    1. Hi Martin. I concur re the marxism socialism. It’s pushed under sheep’s clothing by the agenda globalist people as many of us are aware. Nearly didn’t post this was actually more for the content than where the writer is coming from. Also intended to post to another site but missed the button. Too late. It’s all a potentially tumultuous topic which I didn’t really want to get into right now either. The difference with the ‘civilized’ likes of Cook was they masked their intent well. Least the indigenous as much as they may have been bloodthirsty at times … you knew where you stood. The Brits took over by stealth… and deceit. That’s my bone of contention. They were about the planet exploring not to civilize folks as we’re led to believe, they were seeking land and resources.

  2. Don’t confuse Empire Building, a Tyranny expanded on the the back of those already enslaved with capitalism. They are very different things.

If you believe that any flavor of socialism is better than free people exchanging to their own advantage in win-win commerce, you might as well dig your own grave. For that’s what history amply demonstrates is the outcome of all central planning combined with redistribution.
