In September of this year a letter from scientists and professionals was delivered to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, entitled There is No Climate Emergency. The letter points out that:
- Natural as well as anthropogenic factors cause warming.
- Warming is far slower than predicted.
- Climate policy relies on inadequate models.
- CO2 is plant food, the basis of all life on Earth.
- Global warming has not increased natural disasters.
- Climate policy must respect scientific and economic realities, and concludes.
Our advice to political leaders is that science should strive for a significantly better understanding of the climate system, while politics should focus on minimizing potential climate damage by prioritizing adaptation strategies based on proven and echnologies. Here’s something that may interest you, blogged by Jon Rappoport who was recently taken down by WordPress. I reblogged it on my own site so I may not be here for much longer.

Thanks cadxx. Jon’s work is awesome. I have posted some off and on, & yes I noted he was shut down off WP anyway. It’s a fine line isn’t it? Have you considered alternatives. Exported your blog etc? Thanks for the links will visit Jon again. Have not done so for a while.

I’ve been looking at setting-up my own server. The problem is I use a Linux operating system and it’s not easy for those who don’t do Linux coding – like me.
The reason I use Linux and VPN is because of the number of times my Windows system was knocked-out. This is rare these days but coincidentally I had an attack last night. My broadband modem lit-up like a Christmas tree. Not sure if there’s any damage yet, but I’ll reload the operating system when I have time. Just another day at the office!

PS: Just looked at my files and they’ve had a go at my Website files I downloaded. Not a disaster I copied them to another drive. Just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not after me.

Yes, I managed to get a single page on the Internet using an old computer and then ran out of patience. I need a book, step by step – “Setting up a server for dummies”.
Someone hacked my PC yesterday and deleted all my files. Something of a coincidence as I’d just backed up the website. Luckily I copied them to a separate drive. Just another day at the office.

omg. .. just as well. Did you do the ‘export’ thing?

No, WordPress used to let me export but then it stopped, I had to copy and paste each page, took me two days. They’re well away from the Internet connection.
