It’s hard to be “green.” Ask Al Gore, whose carbon footprint must be among the highest in America (home electricity usage + SUV trips + private plane rides). Same for Leonard DiCaprio’s yacht. John Holdren, Obama’s alarmist-in-chief, also violates the I = PAT equation while having fun fishing.

I was reminded of this when reading the latest Musings from the Oil Patch of G. Allen Brooks of the energy investment banking firm PPHB. His “Pictures Reflecting the Reality of Our Green World” offered three examples (below).

ONE HUGH TRAGEDY HUMANITY HAS MADE IS GOING NUCLEAR, WHEN NEVER INDICATING THE DANGERS AND IMPLICATIONS OF SUCH SOURCE. WHEN IT COMES TO FOSSIL FULES, WE MUST GRADUALLY WITH PERFECTION, LOOK FOR OTHER SOURCES AS WELL. THE FOSSIL WORLD MUST UNDERSTAND THAT IT CAN NOT FOREVER BE SMOKED UP AND GREASED UP. BOTH SIDES MUST COME TO TERMS WITH THE REALITY OF EACH WORLD THAT EXISTS NOW AND TO COME. BY THE WAY, SOME OF THE BEST GREEN ADVOCATES ARE SOME OF THE MOST SMOKIEST AND GREASIEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, FLYING AROUND CONSTANTLY ON PRIVATE JETS, LUXURIOUS VACATIONS, AND NOT CONDUCTING MEETINGS THAT COULD BE ACCOMPLISHED BY WEBINARS, BUT WE ARE TO STRUGGLE SO THEY CAN FUEL UP AND TAKE A PLANE RIDE.

  2. EV owners get better car parks then the “disabled” “elderly” and mothers with babies. They put charging stations right outside the front doors.. Now EV owners want laws stopping people from parking in “their” spots.
