Homeless man jailed for 20 weeks for sitting on the ground ‘without reasonable excuse’
It’s getting Dickensian isn’t it? Back in the day they got deported to places like the Australian penal colony (cheap/free labour) … the nation that boasted ‘righteousness exalts a nation’ … “our Union Jack tells the world that in us they should find a Christian Nation. Let us be what we should be’. Pretty damning really. I hear many of NZ’s homeless are in deep deep debt to the leeches that currently are meeting in Switzerland.

With its present approach of throwing everyone it doesn’t like in jail the UK is going to need lots more prisons. At least he’ll have food and shelter for 20 weeks.
