Prohibition does nothing at all for nobody anywhere anytime. This goes for Alcohol, Tobacco, Drugs, Sexual acts, Fire-arms and whatever else you can think of. It has been tried before, it doesn’t work. Check it out.
It is very simple, it is not what the government wants, but what the people want! And the people win, every time! So rest easy.
This looks more like political posturing than serious consideration of the issue. The biggest problem for gun violence in America is handguns and most used in crime aren’t obtained using any background checks.
I hope there will be less crime after this

Will be interesting to watch the stats. Taking away all the guns IMO won’t necessarily eliminate crime but yes we need the stats.
