The safe spaces isolate and so give validity and reason to the fear and thus increases anxiety .
As far as teachers writing with understanding and compassion thats a no brainer and teachers should not need to be told not to be negative in their instructions to students.
Yes we are told it’s ‘shouting’ as you say. Sometimes i think it’s just easier on the little gadgets/phones etc. Between that & predictive texting who knows what’s being said half the time 🙂

Rather than frightening, the use of all caps — “shouting” — is simply rude and likely to be inflammatory in some situations, I’d have thought.
