4739Hi there, we need to talk. My name is Amy Moser. I have almost written this post at least 20 times and got too overwhelmed and abandoned it. Well here goes…

The antibiotics you took or are taking for your sinus infection, UTI, skin infection, laser eye surgery…ect…may have already damaged you.

Cipro, Levaquin, Avalox, nearly every generic ending in “quin”, “oxacin,””ox,”…are all part of a large family of antibiotics called “Fluoroquinolones.” The FDA finally updated their warning on these antibiotics as of July 2016. They site “multiple system damage that may be irreversible. Permanent you guys. Here is the link for the warning if you are a doubting Thomas: https://www.fda.gov/Drugs/DrugSafety/ucm500143.htm. Take a gander real quick if you are reading this with an eyebrow raised. Trust me, I wish I had been given the opportunity to soak up this information before it was too late.

  1. Thank you for posting this, Pam. About twelve years ago, my husband took ONE Levaquin pill for a sinus infection, and was thrown into nightmares, and awoke with what we finally diagnosed as polymyalgia rhumatica — every muscle, joint and tendon in horrible pain. Doctors wanted to put him on steroids, but our Naturopathic doctor advised us otherwise. Daily (still) use of herbs (turmeric/hawthorn berry, boswelia/ginger, cinnamon/fenugreek) lysine, and change in diet (Paleo, no grains, and for him, no dairy except eggs and natural butter) has been very helpful. Also the supplement MSM. I did my best to research side effects of this drug back then, when it occurred, but I wasn’t able to find too much. Can’t wait to share this post with him :)) Best to you! Dawn

    1. Thanks so much for that feedback Dawn. Glad to hear your hubby is on the mend, that must have been awful. Very damning you couldn’t find much as that info should be there. You may recall a post a good while back where ex Big Pharma exec whistleblower said Docs are told never to discuss side effects.
Interesting about the natural butter etc. Can he have raw milk? People with allergies can drink raw, it’s the processed that is the problem. So glad you worked it all out naturally. Always the best IMO.

      1. Thank you, Pam. Probably no to raw milk for him — he is very, very cow dairy sensitive, but can do some goat cheese. He was vegetarian for more than 30 years, and it turned out to be an unhealthy choice for him, either because of his food sensitivities, or maybe even causing them. Not sure which, but all grains cause a bad reaction for him. So glad we found our way through it all :))
