Employees say that Google should not be in the business of war.

Thousands of Google employees, including dozens of senior engineers, have signed an open letter demanding that the tech giant stops working on a US military drone project.
The Pentagon program is testing the internet giant’s artificial intelligence (AI) system to analyze vast amounts of footage captured by the military’s unmanned surveillance planes around the world and to establish targets for drone strikes.
There are serious concern among experts who believe that such cooperation is not ethical.
“We believe that Google should not be in the business of war. Therefore we ask that Project Maven be cancelled and that Google draft, publicize, and enforce a clear policy stating that neither Google nor its contractors will ever build warfare technology,” the letter read.
